Impact of Logistics 4.0 Technology Adoption on Logistics Performance: The Mediating Effect of Logistics Innovation Capability and the Mediated Moderation Effect of Firm Size

  • Purpose - This study aims to identify the relationship between logistics companies' Logistics 4.0 technology adoption with logistics innovation capability and logistics performance, and analyze the mediating effect of logistics innovation capability and the mediated moderation effect of firm size through logistics innovation capability. Design/methodology - Research models and hypotheses were established based on prior research related to Industry 4.0, Logistics 4.0, logistics technology, logistics performance, and firm size. The survey was conducted on the employees of logistics companies, and exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, discriminant validity analysis, structural equation model analysis, mediation effect, moderation effect, and the mediated moderation effect analysis were performed. Findings - The adoption of Logistics 4.0 technology was found to significantly affect logistics innovation capability and logistics performance. Logistics innovation capability was found to significantly affect logistics performance. Moreover, logistics innovation capability was found to have a significant mediation effect on the relationship between Logistics 4.0 technology adoption and logistics performance. The moderation effect based on firm size was found to have a partial effect on logistics innovation capability and logistics performance, but the mediated moderation effect was not significant. Originality/value - This study is meaningful in that it empirically analyzed the relationship of Logistics 4.0 technology adoption with logistics innovation capability and logistics performance, the mediating effect of logistics innovation capability, the moderation effect of firm size, and the mediated moderation effect of firm size, which were not addressed in previous studies.

  • This tutorial introduces procedures and methods for performing structural equation modeling using R. To do this, we present advanced analysis methods based on structural equation model such as mediation effect analysis, moderation effect analysis, moderated mediation effect analysis, and multiple-group analysis with R program code using R lavaan package that supports structural equation modeling. R is flexible and scalable, unlike traditional commercial statistical packages. Therefore, new analytical techniques are likely to be implemented ahead of any other statistical package. From this point of view, R will be a very appropriate choice for applying new analytical techniques or advanced techniques that researchers need. Considering that various studies in the social sciences are applying structural equations modeling techniques and increasing interest in open source R, this tutorial is expected to be useful for researchers who are looking for alternatives to existing commercial statistical packages.

상황변수의 조절효과 차이에 관한 연구 (SPSS와 AMOS프로그램을 중심으로) (The Study on the Different Moderation Effect of Contingency Variable (Focused on SPSS statistics and AOMS program))

  • 본 연구는 인과관계 분석에서 주로 활용되는 SPSS statistics(회귀분석)과 구조방정식모델을 구현하는 프로그램 중 하나인 AMOS 프로그램을 각각 활용하여 동일한 데이터에 대하여 조절효과 검정을 위한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과, SPSS statistics을 활용한 회귀분석에서 상황변수가 범주형데이터인 성별과 연속형데이터인 컨설팅만족도 모두에서 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타난 반면, AMOS 프로그램을 활용한 구조방정식모델에서는 10% 유의수준에서 컨설턴트의 능력 및 태도가 컨설팅재구매에 미치는 영향관계를 컨설팅만족도가 부분적으로 조절하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결국, 조절효과 분석은 AMOS 프로그램을 활용한 구조방정식모델과 SPSS statistics을 활용한 회귀분석모델이 전혀 다른 접근방법을 사용하고 있어 얼마든지 상이한 결과가 나올 수 있음을 보여준다.

경호원 직무만족과 조직시민행동의 관계에서 직무특성의 조절효과 검증 (Verification of moderation effect that job characteristic has on the relationship between Security Guard job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior)

  • 본 연구는 민간경호경비산업의 경호원을 중심으로 내 외재적 직무만족과 조직시민행동의 관계를 규명하고 직무특성 변인의 조절효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이상의 목적을 달성하기위한 표본 추출방식은 유의표집방법을 사용하였으며 207명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 22.0프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 상관분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도 분석, 구조방정식 모형분석, 다중집단분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내 외재적 직무만족의 하위요인인 내재만족은 이타행동에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 내재만족은 양심행동에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 내재만족은 참여행동에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 외재만족은 이타행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 외재만족은 양심행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 외재만족은 참여행동에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 일곱째, 기술다양성은 내재만족과 이타행동, 참여행동의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타내었다. 여덟째, 직무정체성은 내재만족과 이타행동, 참여행동의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타내었다. 아홉째, 직무중요성은 내재만족과 이타행동, 양심 행동, 참여행동의 관계에서 조절효과를 나타내었다.

간호대학생의 손씻기 지식과 수행의 관계에서 자기효능감과 지각된 행위통제의 조절 및 매개효과 (Moderation and Mediation Effects of Self-efficacy and Perceived Behavioral Control on the Relationship between Knowledge of and Compliance with Handwashing in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between handwashing knowledge and handwashing compliance in nursing students and to identify the moderation and mediation effects of self-efficacy and perceived behavioral control on the relationship. Methods: The participants were 172 nursing college students who completed the self-report measures. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation coefficient, Multiple regression analysis was used to test moderation and mediation effects. Results: The score for knowledge of handwashing was higher in participants who had completed fundamentals of nursing practicum (t=-6.54, p<.001) and the score for compliance with handwashing was higher in participants who had completed clinical practicum (t=-3.81, p<.001) or fundamentals of nursing practicum (t=-5.97, p<.001). Self-efficacy showed a significant moderation effect (z=2.21, p=.027) but not a mediation effect while perceived behavioral control had a significant mediation effect but not a moderation effect on the relationship between knowledge of handwashing and compliance. Conclusion: Findings indicate that clinical practicum and fundamentals of nursing practicum were helpful to nursing students in acquiring knowledge and in practicing proper handwashing technique. These findings suggest that continuing and repetitive education programs on handwashing need to be enhanced and strategies to strengthen self-efficacy and perceived behavioral control need to be included in education programs.

정보기술 사용 전유에 관한 변수들 간의 관계에서 컴퓨터자기효능감의 조절효과 (Moderation Effects of Computer Self-efficacy on the Relationship among Variables for Appropriation in using IT)

  • According to adaptive structuration theory, faithfulness of appropriation(FOA), and consensus on appropriation(COA) are variables for measuring appropriation in use of IT. FOA is the level of interpreting and using the intentions of the IT designers objectively and COA is the level of agreement on ways of using IT among or with user group independently of designers' intention. In traditional theories of IT adoption, computer self-efficacy(CSE), self evaluation on abilities of using computer, has been considered as one of the important individual differences. which would influence on beliefs of using IT. Therefore, considering the relationship among CSE, FOA, COA and attitude, we can hypothesize that CSE would play a moderation varaible among appropriation related variables relationships, FOA-attitude and COA-attitude. The objective of this study is an analysis of CSE's moderation effects in causality relationship among appropriation measuring variables. For this purpose, we propose a research model where there are four hypotheses for moderation effects of CSE on the relationships between appropriation variables. We test these hypotheses by sampling ERP and groupware users. In result, our proposed hypotheses except moderation effect of COA-usefulness are accepted. Main contribution of this study is to identify the relationship between CSE and AST. This study implies that very careful consideration of users' CSE is necessary in order to perform managerial activities based on FOA and COA in IT management department.

The Effects of Shareholders' Rights, Disclosures, and Transparency on Firm Value

  • This study investigates the effect of shareholders' rights, disclosure, and transparency on firm value. This study also investigates whether corporate social responsibility (CSR) is pure moderation or quasi moderation in the effect of shareholders' rights, disclosure, and transparency on firm value. This study's novelty is building a model framework to increase firm value and the role of CSR in increasing firm value. This study used secondary data provided by Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand Stock Exchanges. The sample of this study is 142 companies with four years of observations from 2012-2015. Firm value is measured by Tobin's Q. While shareholder's rights, disclosure, and transparency are measured using the ASEAN scorecard. The analysis method used in this study is a fixed effect model using a panel data approach. The result of this study shows that shareholders' rights have a significant positive effect on firm value. However, disclosure and transparency do not affect firm value significantly. In comparison, the CSR disclosure has a moderation effect on the relationship between shareholders' rights and firm value. The CSR disclosure does not have a moderation effect on the relationship between disclosure and transparency and firm value.

일반선형모형을 적용한 한국남자프로농구 경기기록분석 : 2014-2015 정규리그 (Analyzing records of Korean pro-basketball using general linear model)

  • 이 연구는 일반선형모형에 이원변량분석과 위계적회귀분석을 적용하여 한국남자프로농구 경기기록 (2014-2015 정규리그 270경기)을 분석하였다. 이원변량분석 결과, 3점슛시도에서 승패와 홈원정 집단간에 상호작용효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 이 외에 변인들 (2점슛시도, 어시스트, 속공, 선수교체)은 모두 승패 집단간에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 홈원정경기 간에는 유의한 차이가 없게 나타났다. 위계적회귀분석 결과, 어시스트는 3점슛시도가 총득점에 미치는 영향에 대해 통계적으로 유의한 조절변수로 나타났으며, 속공은 어시스트가 2점슛성공에 미치는 영향에 대해 유의한 조절변수로 나타났다. 반면 어시스트는 2점슛시도가 총득점에 미치는 영향에, 그리고 속공은 어시스트가 3점슛성공에 미치는 영향에 유의한 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 선수교체는 2점슛시도, 3점슛시도 그리고 어시스트가 총득점에 미치는 영향에 통계적으로 유의한 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.

Influence of picture presence in reviews on online seller product rating: Moderation role approach

  • Online consumer reviews (OCRs) provide product information and recommendations especially pictures in reviews depict the true information about the product. This study investigates the influence of pictured reviews on online seller (for a particular product of a seller) rating with moderating effect of price, brand type (foreign vs local), goods type (experience vs search), and brand familiarity. Multiple robust linear regression analysis with moderation interaction and quadratic effect used to explain the relationship of the explanatory variables with the criterion variable. We collected cross-sectional data from the two most renowned Chinese online shopping platforms (B2C) of total 15,621 product links. Results show that higher number of reviews with a low ratio of picture reviews response negative effect on rating, whereas the lower number of reviews with a high ratio of picture reviews response positive effect on the rating. In overall picture in the reviews improve the online seller product rating. For the moderation effect, results show that price and brand familiarity have a positive interaction effect on the relation of pictured reviews and rating whereas experience goods have less negative effect comparing search goods. Finally, local brand has less negative interaction effect comparing foreign brand to pictured reviews and rating.

중국 온라인게임 산업의 게임사용자 재구매 행위 결정요인에 관한 연구: 온라인평가의 조절효과 분석 (An Analysis of determinant on Repurchase Behavior of Game User in Chinese online game industry: moderation effect of online review)

  • 2001년 중국시장에서의 한국 온라인게임의 큰 성과에도 불구하고, 2006년 이후 중국내 위치는 점점 축소되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 소비자의 '인지-감정-행위(의도)' 간 관계에서 재이용행위 결정요인과 온라인평가의 조절 효과에 관한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 설문조사를 통하여 회수된 자료를 사용하여 조절회귀 분석을 활용하여 실증분석을 하였다. 분석결과를 보면 재구매 행위에 대해 인지가치와 충성도가 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며, 온라인평가는 부분적으로 조절 효과를 가졌다. 또한 학력이 통제변수로서 재구매 행위에 부정적 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 게임업체는 게임개발 시 인지가치와 신뢰/충성도에 영향을 미치는 가격, 품질관리, 정보관리에 주의하여야 하겠으며, 온라인평가의 정확한 분석 결과 등을 잘 활용해야 하겠다.
