In this paper, we describe a design of a 128bit MRAM based on a new switching architecture which is Local Field Switching(LFS). LFS uses a local magnetic field generated by the current flowing through an MTJ. This mode reduces the writing current since small current can induce large magnetic field because of close distance between MTJ and the current. It also improves the cell selectivity over using conventional MTJ architecture because it doesn't need a digit line for writing. The MRAM has 1-Transistor 1-Magnetic Tunnel Junction (IT-1MTJ) memory cell structure and uses a bidirectional write driver, a mid-point reference cell block and a current mode sense amplifier. CMOS emulation cell is adopted as an LFS-MTJ cell to verify the operation of the circuit without the MTJ process. The memory circuit is fabricated using a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS technology with six layers o) metal and tested on custom board.
A quantitation method for free amino acids in human serum was developed using a stepwise-dilution method and a bimodal cation exchange (CEX)/hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC)-tandem mass spectrometry system equipped with an electrospray ionization source (ESI/MS/MS). This method, which was validated using quality control samples, was optimized for enhanced selectivity and sensitivity. Dithiothreitol (DTT) was used as a reducing agent to prevent the oxidation of a serum sample ($50{\mu}L$), which was then subjected to stepwise dilution using 3, 30, and 90 volumes of acetonitrile containing 0.1% formic acid. Chromatographic separation was performed on an Imtakt Intrada Amino Acid column ($50mm{\times}3mm$, $3{\mu}m$) in mixed mode packed with CEX and HILIC ligands embedded in the stationary phase. Underivatized free amino acids were eluted and separated within 10 min. As a result of the validation, the precision and accuracy for the inter- and intraday assays were determined as 2.11-11.51% and 92.82-109.40%, respectively. The lowest limit of quantification (LLOQ) was $0.5-4.0{\mu}g/mL$ and the matrix effect was 80.22-115.93%. The proposed method was successfully applied to the quantitative analysis of free amino acids in human serum.
Lasers for optical broadband communication systems should have excellent frequency selectivity and modal stability. DFB lasers have low lasing frequency shift during high speed current modulation. In this paper, we have developed a simulation software and analysed beam profiles of a lasing mode in longitudinal direction of an 1.55um DFB laser with two mirrors and without anti-reflection coatings, that have both an index- and gain-gratings. As the phases of the index and gain gratings on the mirror faces are varied, the beam profiles |R(z)| and |S(z)| of the lasing mode with the emitted power ratio Pl/pr are analysed and examined. In order to reduce the threshold current of a lasing mode and enhance the frequency stability, κL should be greater than 8, regardless of the grating phases on the mirror faces.
This study is to find out what are the factors influencing upon the convergent TV viewing experiences. Socio-demographic variables are identified as the most influential ones. Viewing modes are more influential than the media utilization factors. Comparing the detailed dimensions of TV viewing experiences, time and content selectivity are more influenced by TV viewing modes, while sociability and interactivity are more affected by socio-demographic variables relatively. This study has academic significance in that it is an exploratory empirical study on factors influencing on the TV viewing experiences.
Germination test, nutrient culture test and pot experiment were conducted to determine selectivity of naproanilide between rice plants and paddy weeds. Naproanilide more severely inhibited growth of Scirpus juncoides, Sagittaria pygmaea and Cyerus serotinus than that of rice plant and Echinochloa crus-galli at germination stage. Root growth was severely inhibited than that of shoot growth by naproanilide treatment. Naproanilide severely inhibited rice plant and Echinochloa crus-galli at 30 uM, Sagittaria pygmaea at 1 uM and Cyperus serotinus at 10 uM in nutrient culture test, Rice plant and Echinochloa crus-galli did not show the difference of tillers and dry weight, but Scirpus juncoides, Morzochoria vaginalis and Aneilema keisak were severely inhibited at 15g/a and Sagittaria pygmaea and Cyperus serotinus at 30g/a in pot trial.
The germination and the nutrient culture tests in the growth chamber and pot experiment under two types of soil conditions were conducted to determine the selectivity of oxyfluorfen and chlormethoxynil in crops and weeds and for characterization of selective mode of action, the absorption study was also conducted with different absorption methods and application time using $^{14}C$-oxyfluorfen. Oxyfluorfen showed more growth inhibitory effects than chlormethoxynil. In the nutrient culture test, rice growth was greatly inhibited at 2-leaf stage than at 4-leaf stage, and the shoot parts were more inhibited than the root parts. By preemergence application of both herbicides, higher growth inhibition was observed in sandy loam soil than in clay loam soil. Absorption and translocation of $^{14}C$-oxyfluorfen were higher by foliar application than by root treatment, and selectivity of crops and weed species may be explained partly by the amount of absorption.
A preparation of water soluble components (EA) was made from carpophores of Elfvingia applanata (Pers.) Karst and its in vitro antiviral activity on vesicular stomatitis virus [(Indiana serotype, VSV(IND)] was investigated by plaque reduction assay. EA exhibited potent antiviral activity on VSV(IND) growth and negligible cytotoxicity on Vero cells, 50% effective concentration ($EC_{50}C$/) of 104$ug\textrm\/ml$ and 50% cytotoxic concentration ($CC_{50}C$) of 3,793$ug\textrm\/ml$, respectively. Selectivity index (Sl $CC_{50}C$/$EC_{50}C$) of EA on Vero cell and VSV(IND) was about 36.5. EA did not display either a direct virucidal effect on V5V(IND) or induction of antiviral substance by Vero cells upon its treatment. Thus, the mode of antiviral activity of EA was studied at steps of viral adsorption onto cell. When both EA and virus were added to cell monolayers, titer of cell-free virus in culture supernatant increased in ca. 30-40% compared with that of control group and titer of cell-associated virus was 60-100% higher than that of control group. These results suggested that antiviral activity of EA on VSV(IND) might be due to the hindrance of viral entry to cells at eITher endocytosis or loss of envelope.

A novel anthraquinone diamino-bridged bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 was synthesized. The inclusion complexation behaviors of the native $\beta$ -cyclodextrin 1 and the novel bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 with guests, such as acridine red (AR), neutral red (NR), ammonium 8-anilino-1-naphthalenesulfonate (ANS), sodium 2-(p-toluidinyl) naphthalenesulfonate (TNS) and rhodamine B (RhB) were investigation by fluorescence, circular dichroism and 2D NMR spectroscopy. The spectral titrations were performed in phosphate buffer (pH 7.20) at 25 ${^{\circ}C}$ to give the complex stability constants (Ks) and Gibbs free energy changes (−${\Delta}G^0$) for the stoichiometric 1:1 inclusion complexation of host 1 and 2 with guests. The results indicated that the novel bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 greatly enhanced the original binding affinity of the native $\beta$ -cyclodextrin 1. Typically, bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 showed the highest binding constant towards ANS up to 34.8 times higher than that of 1. The 2D NMR spectra of bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 with RhB and TNS were performed to confirm the binding mode. The increased binding affinity and molecular selectivity of guests by bis($\beta$ -cyclodextrin) 2 were discussed from the viewpoint of the size/shape-fit concept and multipoint recognition mechanism.
Lasers for optical broadband communication systems should have excellent frequency selectivity and modal stability. DFB(Distributed Feedback) lasers have low lasing frequency shift during high speed current modulation. In this paper, I have developed a simulation software and analysed threshold gain and lasing frequency of a lasing mode in longitudinal direction of an 1.55um DFB laser with two mirrors and without anti-reflection coatings, that have both an index- and gain-gratings. The grating phase on a left mirror face is fixed as π/2 and the grating phase on a right mirror face is varied. As the phases of the index and gain gratings on the right mirror facet are π and 0, κL should be in the range of 2~6 in order to enhance the frequency stability. In order to reduce the threshold current of a lasing mode, κL should be greater than 8, regardless of the grating phases on the mirror faces.

It is possible to detect flaws in pipelines without interruption using all EMAT transducer because it is a non-contact transducer which can transmit ultrasonic waves into specimens without couplant. And it ran easily generate guided waves desired in each specific problem by altering the design of coil and magnet. In the present work, EMAT systems have been fabricated to generate surface waves, and selectively the plate wave of $A_1\;or\;S_1$ mode. The surface wave of 1.5MHz showed a good signal-to-noise ratio without distortion in its propagation along a pipeline, while the $S_1$ mode of 800kHz and the $A_1$ mode of 940kHz were distorted according to their dispersive properties. The wider the excitation pulse becomes, the better the mode selectivity of the plate waves becomes. A pipe of 256mm inner diameter and 5.5m thickness with 5 flaws was used for comparing the flaw detectability among the modes under consideration.
