Measuring Service Quality of Mobile Trading Systems and its Impact on the Intention to Continuous Use (모바일 증권거래 시스템에 대한 사용자의 지속적 이용의도와 서비스 품질 측정요소)

  • Wireless and mobile communication technologies enable individuals who trade stocks and bonds to use mobile-based trading services. Due to rapidly developing mobile technologies and adoption of the advanced/smart mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets, the use of mobile trading systems (MTS) have increased at an unexpected rate. Although many prior studies measured service quality on various service-related fields, there are few studies that is related to mobile trading systems compared to more traditional PC-based home trading systems. This research searches determinants of service quality for mobile trading systems and examines the effects of these factors on the intention to mobile trading systems' continuous use. Through an extensive literature review, this research finds three dimensions for mobile trading systems : interaction quality, service environment quality, and service outcome quality. The result of analysis shows that personalization, connectivity, ease of use, informativeness, and monetary value enhance the intention to continuous use. Considering environmental conditions such as the high rate of MTS adoption among individual users and stiffer competition among securities firms, these findings may help practically securities firms' shaping MTS system development strategies for individual users' continuous use and for increasing new users adoption.

  • With the revitalization of non-face-to-face transactions, the difference between the size of branches and transaction costs among securities firms has decreased, and the importance of the stock trading system has increased. In particular, the mobile trading system has become more important due to the increase in the proportion of transactions in the mobile trading system, which is widely used by individual investors, and the increase in the number of individual investors after COVID-19. However, user-centered usability studies are insufficient as usability studies on mobile trading systems are conducted through literature surveys or survey methods. Therefore, in this study, a repertory grid technique that finds user's empirical perception was used to find out user-centered usability attributes. The usability attributes of the mobile trading system from the user's point of view were elicited, and the difference in the usability attributes in terms of frequency and importance between the user group and the developer group was identified.

Online Service Strategy For Multi-Platform Age: Comparison of Online Trading Service Platforms (멀티 플랫폼 기반 온라인 서비스 전략: 온라인 트레이딩 서비스의 플랫폼 간 비교를 중심으로)

  • As the advance of multi-platform and multi-channel online services, brokerages are now offering three representative online trading systems - HTS(Home Trading Systems), WTS(Web Trading Systems), MTS(Mobile Trading Systems). In this study we investigated and compared the impact of different systems on the performance of brokerages. Using the panel data of 29 brokerages of 4 periods, we empirically tested the impact of online trading systems and the commissions of trading services. We found out that there exist some differences between the impacts of online trading systems based on the platforms. HTS was identified as the main platform for online trading services. However the role of MTS was also significantly identified while WTS showed no significant impact on the brokerage performances. Commission also showed significant negative impact in case of HTS and MTS platforms. Finally, offering MTS was identified as the significant dummy variable influencing the performance of brokerages. The results provides some implication for the multi-platform strategy for online services.

  • As cyber stock trading grows rapidly, stock trading using Home Trading System have been brisk recently. Home Trading System is a heavy-weight in the stock market, and the system has shown 75% and 40% market shares for KOSPI and KOSDAQ, respectively. However, since Home Trading System focuses on the convenience and the availability, it has some security problems. In this paper, we found that the authentication information in memory remains during the stock trading and we proposed its countermeasure through two-channel authentication using a mobile device such as a cell phone.

  • The mobile application Open Market of the Apple company's App-store is serviced by the domestic communication company. The domestic developer concentrates on the development and trading ont the market of the application. But App-store's I-pod is different from the Korean mobile. The developer can't use the mobile test because there are a lot of mobile in korea. To solve this, we propose that developers can more easily use the mobile test with mobile simulators on the web. This system does the least amount of tests with many mobile terminals and is the verified trading application.

  • To minimize low latency and improve the processing speed of the stock trading system, various technologies have been introduced. However, expensive network equipment has limitation for improving speed of trading system. Also, it is true that there is not much advantage by introducing those kind of systems. In this paper, we propose a low-Latency SPT(Safe Proper Time) scheme for overcoming the stock trading system in a cloud. The proposed method minimizes the CPI in order to reduce the CPU overhead that is based on the understanding of the kernel. and this approach satisfies the data timeliness.

  • Mobile devices such as smart phones have brought big changes to be called as 'mobile big bang' against which we can't go. Mobile banking service and MTS(Mobile Trading System) are freely available at any time, anywhere and we are able to activate communications between financial company staffs out of the office and take care of business works even remotely by using mobile devices. Mobile devices are approaching as 'smart mobile innovation' to improve an enterprise productivity and competitiveness, but threats which engaged in unfair trading behaviors or unwholesome business works in finance companies are increasing and the customer's information can be leaked out by using the nonpublic official information and mobile devices. Therefore, we have to analyze the potential problems and take the necessary countermeasures with preemptive steps to protect the customer's information and improve the financial trading soundness and fairness. In this paper, we would like to suggest countermeasures and threats against using the financial company's mobile devices focusing on the financial investment companies by 'Capital Market and Financial Investment Business Act'.

  • In the recent a mobile internet makes a change in internet business. The mobile internet service is resulting in M-commerce. Even if M-commerce provides only information service, there will be much possibilities to make applications in various areas such as, delivery service, trading service, banking service etc. in the near future. Delivery service requires many steps in processing, originally. This study is designed to implement a mobile system which makes short in delivery process. It includes that a delivery man receives a signature on a paper and input data at the delivered place by using PDA at hand. The mobile system will be contributed to shorten delivery speed. It is proposed to implement the mobile office system for improving service efficiency in the business of delivery service.   • Recently, way of Electronic Commerce is changing with increment of Internet users. In the previous way of commerce, users used to search for information by themselves. However, for user's convience, it can be done for users from one site. Mobile in order to provide users with such service. By the mobile agent-based Electronic Commerce system, users can get information from one site, and service companies can provide various and useful information to users. This is very important for construction of reliable Electronic Commerce environment, However, in generally used mobile agent-based platforms, the user should know URL information. and it is based on search engines. And as user's requirement levels become higher, they want to be provided with integrated and summarized service. In this paper, we implement product-trading system by applying mobile agent concept in order to satisfy user's requirement of getting required information from one site with minimal mouse click. For implementing the product trading system, E-speak, which is a platform for E-Service, is used And contents are saved as XML documents and data are shared based on these documents.
