Generally, the simulator for mobile device tests automatically an application software after instilling again the event, which is saved in log file according to an event generation sequence, into the application software of device. But, the simulator performance for mobile device can be different according to a extraction layer even if the events are same. And, the sequence of events extracted from an application is changeable in the environment that multiple applications are operated concurrently. Therefore, even though the same applications is executed to the same sequence, the generation sequence of events is revised in accordance with the state of mobile device system, and whether the errors occur according to circumstances or not. This kind of application software error is very difficult to perform a debugging operation. In this paper, the execution state of various applications is verifiable through the re-editing of events after analyzing the events which is generated in application, kernel, middleware layer, and the event arrange/editor is designed and implemented to understand efficiently the influence on application, kernel, and middleware layer for events.

Wireless sensor networks have been researched to gather data about events on sensor fields from sources at sinks. Multipath routing is one of attractive approaches to reliably send data against the problem of frequent breakages on paths from sources to sinks due to node and link failures. As mobile events such as humans, animals, and vehicles are considered, sources may be continuously generated according to the movement of the mobile event. Thus, mobile events provide new challenging issue in multipath routing. However, the research on multipath routing mainly focus on both efficient multipath construction from sources to static sinks and fast multipath reconstruction against path breakages. Accordingly, the previous multipath routing protocols request each source continuously generated by a mobile event to construct individual multipath from the source to sinks. This induces the increase of multipath construction cost in the previous protocols in proportion to the number of source. Therefore, we propose efficient multipath routing protocol for supporting continuous sources generated by mobile events. In the proposed protocol, new source efficiently reconstructs its multipath by exploiting the existing multipath of previous sources. To do this, the proposed protocol selects one among three reconstruction methods: a local reconstruction, a global partial one, and a global full one. For a selection decision, we provide an analytical energy consumption cost model that calculates the summation of both the multipath reconstruction cost and the data forwarding cost. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol has better performance than the previous protocol to provide multipath routing for mobile events.
In mobile systems, energy efficiency is critical to extend battery life. Therefore, power consumption should be taken into account to develop software in addition to performance, Efficient software design in power and performance is possible if accurate power prediction is accomplished during the execution of software, In this paper, power estimation model is developed using statistical analysis, The proposed model analyzes processor behavior Quantitatively using the data of performance monitoring events and power consumption collected by executing various benchmark programs, And then representative hardware events on power consumption are selected using hierarchical clustering, The power prediction model is established by regression analysis in which the selected events are independent variables and power is a response variable, The proposed model is applied to a PXA320 mobile processor based on Intel XScale architecture and shows average estimation error within 4% of the actual measured power consumption of the processor.

There are many events such as festival or assembly. Toilets are needed in these events. Therefore, there are many companies that rental of mobile toilets. But these companies provide only rental of toilet. So in this research, we provide IT services using sensor into mobile toilets. And then has analysed that how to using sensor data from mobile toilets.
This study has developed a mobile AR contents Builder (MARB) featuring the augmentation of virtual objects, e. g. 2D images, 3D models and videos on user-preferred markers in mobile environment and with connected interaction events. The developed MARB is capable of augmenting multiple virtual objects on markers preferred by users, and selectively supporting many marker-specific interaction events. The MARB is also developed as a mobile App for convenience of use in the mobile environment. This makes users to implement AR contents by a GUI-based authoring procedure on the mobile device. The developed MARB allows App developers and general users to author mobile contents easily and can be applied to various field by those who wish to use diverse mobile AR contents. Moreover, the MARB will provide solutions for the expansion of mobile AR market, by overcoming the difficulties of mobile AR content development.
As smartphone users have increased in recent years, various applications have been developed and used especially for Android-based mobile devices. However, malicious applications developed by attackers for malicious purposes are also distributed through 3rd party open markets, and damage such as leakage of personal information or financial information of users in mobile terminals is continuously increasing. Therefore, to prevent this, a method is needed to distinguish malicious apps from normal apps for Android-based mobile terminal users. In this paper, we analyze the existing researches that detect malicious apps by extracting the system call events that occur when the app is executed. Based on this, we propose a technique to identify malicious apps by analyzing the sequence similarity of kernel layer events occurring in the process of running an app on commercial Android mobile devices.
Recently the unprecedented progress of Android platform and Google Play has brought more opportunities for individual mobile game developers. When playing an Android 3D game, users can accidentally hit HOME Key or BACK Key or receive an incoming message. Subsequently, another screen will appear on top and make the game application lose focus, or the operating system pause that game. These interruption events may also lead to the loss of game information or the game runs out of user control if that game cannot catch interruption events itself and resume at the exact time. As same as other mobile platforms, Android platform also provides Activity Lifecycle methods to help the game application control interruption problems. However, these methods are not adequate to solve all the interruption events. By implementing ANDCube game, we examine most of the possible interruption cases and propose some solutions to help Android game developers avoid some common interruption cases. Concurrently, we show the ways how a game application can catch all unavoidable interruption events and effectively resume from interruption to obtain a high quality game.
An autonomous mobile robot has been developed which can follow a travel map drawn on a monitor screen using a software. The robot works as an exhbition guide making announcement regrading the events to take place or introducing the products on display. This mobile robot computes the world position and heading direction through camera image, ultrasonic and infrared sensors in real time using specially designed algorithm. This mobile robot will be exhibited at '93 Tae-Jeon EXPO for an exhibition guide, and will be used in a plant or a hospital for materials handling purposes.
People use diary or photograph for recall-ing their memory in order to satisfy their desires for recording their lives. If the experienced events are organized to a story, S/he can share her/his experience with others, and recall her/his significant events easily. In this paper, we propose a method that generates a story with Petri net and user contexts collected from mobile device. Here, we use Petri-net as a representation method that links human activities or experience causally. It is appropriate solution for modeling parallel events in real world, and for representing non-linear story line. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed method, we show an example of generating a story of user's experience with user contexts from mobile device and evaluate them.

Recently, the number of attacks by malicious application has significantly increased, targeting Android-platform mobile terminal such as Samsung Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab 10.1. The malicious application can be distributed to currently used mobile devices through open market masquerading as an normal application. An attacker inserts malicious code into an application, which might threaten privacy by rooting attack. Once the rooting attack is successful, malicious code can collect and steal private data stored in mobile terminal, for example, SMS messages, contacts list, and public key certificate for banking. To protect the private information from the malicious attack, malicious code detection, rooting attack detection and countermeasure method are required. To meet this end, this paper investigates rooting attack mechanism for Android-platform mobile terminal. Based on that, this paper proposes countermeasure system that enables to extract and collect events related to attacks occurring from mobile terminal, which contributes to active protection from malicious attacks.
