Ar-Kr 혼합가스를 이용한 OLED용 Al 전극 제작 (Preparation of Al electrode with Ar-Kr gas mixture for OLED application)

  • As preparing electrode for the OLED with the sputtering process, in order to be lower damage of the bottom organic layer and increase the life-time of the OLED, we prepared Al electrode for that by using Facing Targets Sputtering (FTS) system. Al electrode directly deposited on the cell (LiF/EML/HTL/Bottom electrode). Deposition condition was the working gas (Ar, Kr and Ar+Kr) and working gas pressure (1 and 6 mTorr). The film thickness and I-V curve of Al/cell were evaluated by a $\acute{a}$-step profiler and a semiconductor parameter (HP4156A) measurement. The thin film surface image was observed by a Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). In result, in comparison with about 11 [V] of the turn-on voltage of Al/cell with using the pure Ar gas, when Al thin film was deposited using the Ar-Kr mixture gas, the surface morphology was improved in some region and the turn-on voltage of Al/cell could be decreased to about 7 [V].

  • AgI/PVC${\cdot}$THF막전극은 단일할로겐화이온과 할로겐화이온 혼합물을 질산은표준용액으로 전위차법적정할 때 지시전극으로 사용될 수 있다. 그러나 할로겐화이온혼합물을 단계적정할 때 오차가 매우 큼을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 적정용액에 $NaNO_3$$Ba(NO_3)_2$같은 뭉침제를 가하면 오차가 매우 감소한다. 또한 젤라틴과 거름종이의 효과 그리고 온도의 영향도 조사하였다.

  • In this paper, the volume resistivity properties due to mixture ration of linear low density polyethylene(LLDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate(EVA) are studied. Electrodes is composed of upper electrode 37(mm $\Phi$), guardring electrode(inner 55(mm $\Phi$ ), and lower electrode 87(mm $\Phi$ In order to measure the leakage current, We used electrometer and stable oven with temperature controller. Measurement method is to measure the leakage current of next specimen after applying the voltage according to 'Step Apply Methods' for ten minutes. In order to measure the volume resistivity properties, the micro electrometer is used, the range of temperature and applying voltage are 25 to 100[$^{\circ}C$] to 100[V] respectively.

정전기 방전에 의한 개소린-공기혼합기체의 최소착화에너지에 관한 연구 (The Study about The Minimum Ignition Energy for Electrostatic Discharge in The Gasoline-air Mixture)

  • Electrostatic charge is generated in large scale or high speed processes dealing with materials with large resistance, or under complicated condition. Fire and explosion often occur due to electrostatic charge accumulated in flammable gases, vapor, liquids and powder. It is usually very difficult to verify the cause of accidents as well as the prevention. In this study, it is shown that the needle electrode needs the electrode gap from 1.8mm to 3.8mm, sphere electrode and plate electrodes need the electrode gap of 1.9mmfor the minimum ignition energy. The sphere electrode and the plate electrode requires 12.8mJ and 3.2mJ of minimum ignition energy respectively with the electrode gap of 1.1mm. The ignition voltage rises to very large value as the ground resistance increases.

  • We carried out this subject to observe electrochemical properties of 1,2-dioleoyl-sn- glycero-3-phosphocholine(DOPC) mixed with fatty acid containing azobenzene group by using cyclic voltammetry with a three-electrode system, An Ag/AgCl reference electrode, a platinum wire counter electrode and LB film-coated ITO working electrode in $NaClO_4$ solution. We investigated the photoisomerization and electrochemical property of the organic ultra thin film of fatty acid containing azobenzene was prepared on the hydrophilic ITO(idium tin oxide) glass plate by LB method. As a result, the absorption spectra of BASH and DOPC of mixture LB films was induced to photoisomerization by alternating irradiation of ultraviolet and visible light. A measuring range was reduced from initial potential to -1350mV, continuously oxidized to 1650 mV and measured to the initial point. The scan rate were 50, 100, 150 and 200 mV/s. As a results, LB films of BASH-DMPC appeared reversible process caused by the reduction-oxidation current from the cyclic voltammogram.

용액법 기반의 유기태양전지 제작을 위한 투명전극 개발 (Investigation of Transparent Electrodes for Solution-Processed Organic Solar Cells)

  • In this study, composite transparent electrodes were fabricated either from a conductive polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) or silver nanowire (AgNW). Three transparent electrodes such as PEDOT:PSS, PEDOT:PSS and AgNW mixture, and AgNW were fabricated. As for a transparent electrode, measured sheet resistance values were 89.6, 60.6 and 28.6 Ω/sq, and the transmittance values were 80.2, 82.0 and 83.8% while surface roughness (Rq) values were 4.1, 8.1, 20.4 nm for PEDOT:PSS, PEDOT:PSS and AgNW mixture, and AgNW, respectively. To verify the overall performance of these composite electrodes, we applied these electrodes to the top electrode of the solution-processed organic solar cells (OSCs). PEDOT:PSS provided the best performance with a fill factor (FF) of 51.2% and a photoconversion efficiency (PCE) of 2.2%, while traditional metal top electrode OSC provided FF of 60.5% and PCE of 3.1%.

흑연과 실리콘 일산화물의 혼합물로 구성된 리튬이온 이차전지용 음극의 사이클 성능개선 연구 (Improvement of Cycle Performance of Graphite-Silicon Monoxide Mixture Negative Electrode in Lithium-ion Batteries)

  • 우수한 수명특성을 지니는 흑연과 높은 용량을 지니고 있는 실리콘 일산화물의 혼합전극을 제조하여 리튬이온 이차전지용 음극으로 적용하여 이의 사이클 성능에 대하여 평가하였다. 천연흑연과 실리콘 일산화물을 9:1의 질량비로 혼합하여 제조한 전극은 $480mAh\;g^{-1}$의 가역용량으로 천연흑연에 비하여 33% 이상의 높은 용량을 나타내었다. 그러나, 실리콘 일산화물의 부피변화로 인하여 용량의 퇴화가 지속적으로 발생하였다. 본 연구에서는 전극 및 전해질의 구성에 변수들을 적용하여 각각의 변수가 영향을 주는 전기화학적 특성을 파악하고 이를 통하여 사이클 수명을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 전극 제조 시에 poly(vinylidene fluoride)(PVdF) 바인더에 비하여 carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) 바인더는 가장 우수한 사이클 특성을 나타내었으며, CMC와 styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR)을 함께 사용하는 SBR/CMC 바인더의 경우에는 CMC 단독 바인더를 사용하는 경우와 유사한 사이클 특성과 동시에 속도특성에서 장점을 지니고 있었다. 전해액 첨가제로 fluoroethylene carbonate (FEC)를 적용하는 경우에 수명특성이 크게 개선되었다. FEC의 함량이 10 질량%로 높아지게 되면 전지의 속도특성이 저하되기 때문에 5 질량%의 사용이 적절하였다. 또한 전극의 로딩값을 낮추게 되면 사이클 특성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있었으며, 집전체를 사포로 연마하여 거칠기를 증가시키는 것도 사이클 특성의 개선을 가져올 수 있었다.

Electrooxidation of DL-norvaline at Glassy Carbon Electrode: Approaching the Modified Electrode for Voltammetric Studies of Hydroquinone and Catechol

  • The DL-norvaline was electrochemically oxidized and deposited on the glassy carbon electrode surface using cyclic voltammetry (CV). The modified electrode was examined for electrochemical oxidation of hydroquinone (HQ) and catechol (CC). It exhibited good electrocatalytic ability towards their oxidation and simultaneous determination in a binary mixture using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The peak currents were linear to the concentration of HQ and CC, in the range from $5{\mu}M$ to $100{\mu}M$, and $4{\mu}M$ to $140{\mu}M$, respectively. The determination limits(S/N = 3) for HQ and CC were $1{\mu}M$ and $0.8{\mu}M$, respectively. The obtained modified electrode was applied to simultaneous detection of HQ and CC in water sample.

  • We investigated the electrochemical properties for Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films mixed with fatty acid (8A5H) and phospholipid (DLPE, DMPC, and DPPA). LB films of 8A5H monolayer and 8A5H-phospholipid mixture were deposited using the Langmuir-Blodgett method on the indium tin oxide(ITO) glass. The electrochemical properties measured using cyclic voltammetry with three-electrode system, an Ag/AgCl reference electrode, a platinum wire counter electrode and LB film-coated ITO working electrode at various concentrations(0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mol/L) of $NaClO_4$ solution. A measuring range was reduced from initial potential to -1350 mV, continuously oxidized to 1650 mV and measured to the initial point. The scan rate was 50, 100, 150 and 200 mV/s, respectively. As a result, LB films of fatty acid and phospholipid (8A5H/DLPE and DPPA) appeared irreversible process were caused by only the reduction current from the cyclic voltammogram and LB film of 8A5H-DMPC mixture was found to be caused by a reversible oxidation-reduction process.

  • We carried out this experiment to observe electrochemical properties for LB films of phospholipid(Dilauroyl-L-${\alpha}$-Phosphayidylcholine) and 4-octyl-4'-(5-carboxypentamethylene-oxy)azobenzene mixture by the cyclic voltammetry. LB films of 8A5H and 8A5H-DLPC(1:1, 2:1) were deposited by using the Langmuir-Blodgett method on the ITO glass. We determined electrochemical measurement by using cyclic voltammetry with a three-electrode system, An Ag/AgCl reference elect rode, a platinum wire counter electrode and LB film-coated ITO working electrode measured in 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 mol/L $NaClO_{4}$ solution. As a result, LB films of 8A5H 8A5H-DLPC appeared irreversible process caused by only the oxidation current from the cyclic voltammogram.
