수수 줄기에 함유(含有)된 타감물질(他感物質)의 분리(分離) 및 특성(特性) 구명(究明) (Isolation and Characterization of Allelopathic Substances from Sorghum Stem)

  • 수수 줄기에 함유된 타감물질(他感物質)중 가장 강한 활성을 나타내는 물질을 rapid chromatography, flash flow column chromatography로 분리하고 thin layer chromatography와 HPLC로 정제하여 GC-MS로 분석하였다. Butanol, acetic acid 및 water의 용매 조합을 달리하여 타감물질을 분리한 결과 butanol (8) : actic acid (1) : water (1) 분획에서 억제효과가 가장 크게 나타났으며, flash flow column chronatography와 TLC로 분리 한 결과 가장 활성을 나타내는 물질은 Rf 0.71에서 나타났으며 HPLC로 순수분리한 결과 Rt 20.40min에서 elution되었다. 이 물질은 주황색을 띄며 methanol에 용해성이 있었다. 정제된 물질을 GC-MS로 분석한 결과 예상되는 물질은 1-methyl-1-(2-propinonyl)-hydrazine, 1-aziridineethanol, 5-chloro-2-pentanone, 2-(methylseleno)-ethanamine 중한 물질일 것으로 추측되었다.

가시오가피 열수추출물의 전신성 Anaphylaxis에 대한 억제효과 (Effect of Hot Water Extract from Acanthopanax senticosus on Systemic Anaphylaxis)

  • 마우스에서 가시오가피 열수추출물(GF-2)의 투여는 compound 48/80에 의하여 유도되는 전신성 anaphylactic shock 및 혈중 histamine과 호산구의 생산을 GF-2 농도 의존적으로 억제하였을 뿐 아니라, 마우스 복강세포에서 LPS에 의하여 유도되는 $TNF-{\alpha}$의 생산을 유의적으로 감소시켰다. 또한, 마우스에 항원으로서 ovalbumin(OVA)와 adjuvant로서 aluminium hydroxide를 사용하여 면역 후, OVA에 대한 IgG1 및 IgE 항체의 역가를 조사한 결과, GF-2의 투여는 이들 항체의 생산을 억제하였다. 이 결과는 GF-2를 항원 특이적 혹은 비특이적인 알러지 반응에 응용할 수 있는 소재로 개발 가능성 있음을 제시하였다.

  • Though a variety of demands for an green dwelling, it is hard to diffuse a wooden house due to high construction cost. So this study aims to diffuse to propose a space modular for production and supply. Therefore the result of investigation to the space modular of each room through the survey of width and depth in the type of dwelling in korea is as follows. 1) Investigated the mixture of magnitude on the total width and depth, the survey is showed commonly 3.6m and 4.2m. 2) Once the depth is 3.6m, a living room and inner room, room's width is 3.9m, 4.5m. Once the depth is 4.2m, those width is 4.8m. 3) By use of a survey, the post distances consisted of all rooms are 3.6m, 3.9m, 4.2m, 4.5m, 4.8m. The result of investigation to possibility for mixture applied to six level types invested post modules to the wooden house of post & Beam method is as follows. 1) With the regularity of depth and simplicity of width, It is potential to compound floor plan in korea. 2) It is possible to plan an informal shape of kitchen+dining room which is a spare space available for the merit changeable space after arranged main rooms. 3) It is possible to plan a space through a variety of mixture method at bathroom. Thus, it is possible for a variety of floor formations to build a low-cost wooden house through five types of post distance.

종자소독의 현황과 문제점 (Present Status and Problems of Chemical Seed Treatment of Seedborne Diseases)

  • A wide variety of pathogens are known io be seedborne, carried either as infectious mycelium internally or as contaminants on the seed coat. When seed is infected with a pathogen, the seed nay be rendered nonviable or it may remain viable but produce weak seedling. In some cases, the Infected seedling nay not be severely weakened, but nay serve as a source of primary inoculum within a community of plants. A recent problem nay be the dissemination of seedborne pathogens occurring as a result of the massive movements of seed, as a part of the 'Green revolution' Disease of great danger to agriculture may be introduced with seed from other parts of world. Seed treatment with organic mercury compounds in liquid form had become popular since about 1955. Organic mercury compounds contributed considerably to the increase in production of many crops and vegetables. In 1975, however, the use of organic mercury compound was forbidden because of doubts regarding their residual mammalian toxicity in agricultural products. Benomyl-thiram mixture, thiophanate methyl-;hiram mixture and TCMB have now been registered as seed disinfectants for the use of rice blast, brown spot and Bakanae disease. Oxathiinsthiram mixture has been registered as seed disinfectant for barley and wheat loose smut and leaf stripe of barley. Agricultural techniques have made such rapid progress that the nursery methods changed from the use of paddy nursery to box nursery designed for machine-transplanting. The spread of rice transplanting machines has caused increase of seedborne diseases. Among seedborne diseases, Bakanae disease has remarkably increased and causes much damage recently. In order to counter this trend, seed disinfectants must also be diversified. First, effective non-selective disinfectants need to be developed, and second, appropriate control methods always need to be prepared in parallel with the development of new techniques for cultivation.

수입 조사료의 사료가치 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of Nutritive Value of Imported Roughages)

  • 본 시험은 국내에서 수입되어 유통되고 있는 몇 가지 수입 조사료를 충남지역 소재 개인 도매상으로부터 1999년 수집 하여 화학적 성 분, 건물 소화율, 건불 섭취량, 상대적 사료가치 및 건초 등급 등을 분석하여 수입 조사료에 대한 품질을 비교 평가하는데 기초자료로 활용하고자 연구를 수행하였다. 공시된 조사료는 옥수수 베일, 톨 페스큐 straw, 그린셀(사탕수수 잎), 버뮤다그라스 straw, 리드카나리그라스 straw, 알팔파 베일, 사탕수수 베일과 연맥 건초 등 8종이었으며, 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 국내에서 재배한 혼합건초에 비하여 알팔파 베일을 제외한 공시된 대부분의 수입 조사료원은 대 체적으로 조단백질 함량이 낮고, 섬유소물질의 함량이 높은 결과를 보였다. 더욱이 수입 조사료의 건울 소화율, 건물 섭취량, 상대적 사료가치(RFV) 빚 건초등급 등은 대조구인 흔합건초와 비교할 때 알팔파 베일을 제외하고는 현저히 품질이 떨어지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 수입되는 조사료에 대해서는 품질을 고려한 경제가치의 검증이 필요하다고 하겠다.

Removal of Post Etch/Ash Residue on an Aluminum Patterned Wafer Using Supercritical CO2 Mixtures with Co-solvents and Surfactants: sc-CO2 Mixture for the Removal of Post Etch/Ash Residue

  • The result of stripping process for the removal of the post etch/ash Photoresist (PR) residue on an aluminum patterned wafer by using supercritical $CO_2$ ($sc-CO_2$) mixture, was investigated by scanning of electron microscope (SEM) inspection of wafer, measuring the cloud points and visual observation of the state of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures. It was found that $sc-CO_2$ mixtures were made by mixing additives and $sc-CO_2$ should form homogeneous and transparent phase (HTP) in order to effectively and uniformly remove the post etch/ash PR residue on the aluminum patterned wafer using them. The additives were formulated by mixing and co-solvents like an amine compound and fluorosurfactants used as HTP agents, and the PR residue on the wafer were able to be rapidly and effectively removed using the $sc-CO_2$ mixture of HTP. The five kinds of additives were formulated by the recipe of mixing co-solvents and surfactants, which were able to remove PR residue on the wafer by mixing with $sc-CO_2$ at the stripping temperature range from 40 to $80^{\circ}C$. The five kinds of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures which were named as PR removers were made, which were able to form HTP within the above described stripping temperature. The cloud points of $sc-CO_2$ mixtures were measured to find correlation between them and HTP.

  • 액상 중유 연료를 사용하는 고용량 증기 보일러에서 발생되어 연소기기 내부에 침적되는 슈트, 슬래그, 크랭커, 회분, 산화물의 on-line 세정을 위한 세정제 제조에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 액상 중유 연료를 사용하는 보일러 및 가열로에 생성되는 슈트, 슬래그, 크랭커, 회분, 산화물을 제거하는 기존 기술은 보일러 및 가열로의 가동 중단 후 작업자들에 의한 기계적인 처리를 통하여 침적물을 제거하는 기술을 사용하고 있다. 기존 기술을 대치할 수 있고 보일러의 중단이 없는 상태에서 침적물을 세정할 수 있는 세정제의 최적 조성을 도출하였다. 질산암모늄과 질산마그네슘의 혼합물이 주 세정제로 도출되었으며, 각종 전이금속 화합물에 의한 영향을 영향을 연구하여, 세정에 의한 부식을 방지할 수 있으며, 연소효율의 증대를 얻을 수 있는 전이금속화합불 첨가제를 도출하였다.

수계 내 테트라사이클린, 설파다이아졸, 트리톤 X-100 혼합물의 광분해 (Photodegradation of Mixtures of Tetracycline, Sulfathiazole, and Triton X-100 in Water)

  • BACKGROUND: Chemicals such as antibiotics and surfactants can enter agricultural environment and they can be degraded by natural processes such as photolysis. These chemicals exist in mixtures in the environment, but studies on degradation of the mixtures are limited. This study compares the photodegradation of Triton X-100 (TX) and antibiotics [tetracycline (TC) and sulfathiazole (STH)] when they are in a single solution or in mixtures. METHODS AND RESULTS: TC, STH, and TX solutions were exposed to UV-A for the photodegradation tests for 14 days. The residual TC, STH, and TX concentrations were analyzed by using HPLC. The TC degradation was similar regardless of the presence of TX, while the TX degradation was lower in the presence of TC. The STH degradation was similar regardless of the presence of TX, while the TX degradation was greater in the presence of STH. However, the STH degradation was slower in the TC-STH-TX mixture than in the STH-TX mixture. Also, the TX degradation was negligible in the TC-STH-TX mixture. The results show that the photodegradation of TC, STH, and TX can be different in mixtures. This can be attributed to the different emission and absorption wavelengths of each compound and interaction between these compounds and photoproducts. CONCLUSION: Overall, this study emphasizes that photodegradation of single chemicals and chemical mixtures can be different, and more studies on single compounds as well as mixtures are required to understand the fate of chemicals in the environment in order to manage them properly.

The atmospheric plasma reactor with water wall to decompose CF4

  • A new type plasma reactor is proposed to decompose CF4 diluted with N2 gas in atmospheric pressure. The arc plasmas is surrounded with a waterwall which acts as a source of water vapor, the solvent of HF, resultant product after decomposition, and conveyer to take away fluorine compound from exhaust gas. Abatement more than 99% is achieved by small size plasmas such as 1 cm in diameter, 25cm in length and 3.4KW of DC discharge power in such gas as the mixture of 100 sccm of CF4 and 15 slm of N2. Reactors of this type are to be expanded to such a system as Nitrogen flow of 50 slm with 200 sccm of CF4 and 7-8 KW discharge power.

전자빔을 이용한 흐름반응기에서의 Trichloroethylene/Air 분해 (Decomposition of Trchloroethylene/Air Mixture by Electron Beam Irradiation in a Flow Reactor)

  • Decomposition of trichloroethlyene(TCE) in electron beam irradiation was examined on order to obtain information on the treatment of VOC in air. Air containing vaporized TCE has been studied in a flow reactor with different reaction environments, at various initial TCE concentration and in the presence and absence of water vapor. Maximum decomposition was observed in oxygen reaction environment and the degree of decomposition was about 99% at 20kGy for 2,000ppm initial TCE. The concentration of TCE exponentially decreased with dose in air and pure oxygen. The effect of water vapor on TCE decomposition efficiency was examined. The decomposition rate of TCE in the presence of water vapor (5,600 ppm) was approximately 10% higher than that in the absence of water vapor. Dichloroacetic acid, dichloroacethyl chloride and dichloroethyl ester acid were identified as primary products of this reaction adn were decomposed and oxidized to yield CO and $CO_2$. Perchloroethylene, hexachloroethane, chloroform and carbon tetrachloride were also observed as highly chlorinat-ed by products.
