  • Existing cleaning solvent using screen printing are the organic solvents including aromatic compounds carried with poisonous and stench. besides, Cleaning method of current screen printing are for the most part mixed cleaning method of dipping and polish. Using 1,1,1-TCE, CFC-113 alternative system cleaning solvent be substituted for existing cleaning solvent against screen printing ink measured the cleaning efficiency according to gravimetric analysis method and property change of gassamer according to Image Analyzer. Also, Cleaning process system carry with excellent cleaning efficiency studied which was proposed new cleaning process including ultrasonic cleaning process be substituted for existing mixed cleaning method of dipping and polish.

  • For determination of the genotoxicity of VOCs(Volatile Organic Compounds) in water, in vitro Comet assay was performed using 3T3 cells. The selected 5 VOCs; Trichloroethylene(TCE), Tetrachloroethylene(PCE), Carbontetrachloride (CteC), Dichloromethane(DCM) and Chlorofrom(Chl) and mixed solvent(Mix), are the test items for drinking water quality. Author analyzed the genotoxicity of these solvents through their tail length (TL) values. Mix, PCE, Chl, TCE in order had cytotoxicity at the highest concentration, and CCl₄ and DCM had no cytotoxic effect. TCE, CCl₄, Chl, PCE, Mix, DCM had genotoxicity, Chl, PCE, Mix had both cytotoxicity and genotoxicity simultaneously, Cytotoxic effect of mixed organic solvents, compared with that of single component, at each concentration, was influenced by the synergistic effect of the interaction of each organic component.

  • 1 : 4 dioxane-물의 혼합용매중에서 benzenesulfonylimido phosgene의 가수분해 반응속도 상수를 자외선 분광법으로 측정하여 넓은 pH범위에서 잘 맞는 반응속도식을 구하였다. Grunwald-Winstein식에 적용하여 pH4.0에서 m=0.4의 값을 얻었으며 열역학적 활성화 파라미터 값은 pH4.0에서 ${\Delta}H^{\neq}$ = 15kcal/mol과 $ {\Delta}S^{\neq}$ =-21e.u 그리고 pH10.0에서는 $ {\Delta}H^{\neq}$ = 8kcal/mol, ${\Delta}S^{\neq}$ = -39e.u.이었다. 이와 같은 결과로부터 잘 알려져 있지않은 benzenesulfonylimido phosgene의 친핵성 첨가-제거 반응메카니즘을 정량적으로 잘 설명할 수 있었다.

  • 백금촉매의 분산을 향상시키기 위하여 카본블랙의 표면처리, 용매, 계면활성제 및 초음파분산기에 따른 효과를 고찰하였다. 카본블랙을 산화처리하여 카본블랙 표면에 친수성기인 작용기들을 도입함으로써 작용기들이 염화백금산 이온의 anchorage center역할을 하여 이 염화백금산을 환원시킬 때 백금입자(이온)의 이동이나 성장을 억제시켜 미립화 시킬 수 있다고 생각되었다. 혼합용매, 계면활성제, 초음파분산기 등을 이용한 경우, 염화 백금산이온이 anchorage center 역할을 하고 있는 작용기들에 까지 잘 스며들어감으로써 백금촉매의 분산성이 향상됨을 알았다. 혼합용매에 초음파분산기를 사용하여 공기산화시킨 카본블랙에 백금촉매를 담지시킨 결과, 분산성이 가장 우수하였으며 입자크기는 $30A^{\circ}$ 이하로 미립화 되었다.

Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) Coatings Fabricated Using Mixed ITO Sols

  • ITO films were achieved by sintering at $500{\sim}550{^{\circ}C}$. This was possible by inducing a seeding effect on an ITO sol by producing crystalline ITO nanoparticles in situ during heat treatment. Two kinds of ITO sols (named ITO-A and ITO-B) were prepared at 2.0 wt% from indium acetate and tin(IV) chloride in different mixed solvents. The ITO-A sol showed a high degree of crystallinity of ITO without any detectable Sn$O_2$ on XRD at $350{^{\circ}C}$/1 h, but the ITO-B sol showed a small amount of Sn$O_2$ even after annealing at $600{^{\circ}C}$/1 h. The 10 wt% ITO-A//ITO-B showed the sheet resistance of 3600$\Omega$/□, while the ITO-B sol alone showed 5200 $\Omega$/□ by sintering at $550{^{\circ}C}$ for 30 min. Processing parameters were studied by TG/DSC, XRD, SEM, sheet resistance, and visible transmittance.

활성탄소계 섬유포 전극을 이용한 전기이중층 커패시터용 유기 전해액의 제조 (Fabrication of Organic Electrolytes for Electric Double Layer Capacitor with Activated Carbon Cloth Electrode)

  • Electrochemical charateristics of activated carbon fiber cloth(ACFC) electrode were studied with propylene carbonate(PC), ${\gamma}$-butyrolactone(GBL) and N,N-dimethyl-formamide(DMF) as a solvent and tetraethylammoniumtetrafluoroborate(TEABF$_4$), tetraethylammoniumhexafluorophosphate(TEABF$_{6}$), tetrabutylammoniumtetrafluoroborate(TBABF$_4$) and tetrabutylammonium hexafluorophosphate(TBAPF$_6$) as an electrolytes(active material). The concentrations of electrolytes were in the range of 0.2~1.2 N, the volume ratios of PC and DMF as a mixed solvent system, were 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 60:40, 50:50, and 40:60 vol%. Electrochemical characteristics such as electric conductivity, internal resistance, and electric capacitance of fabricated unit cells were measured after the moisture of activated material was removed with molecular sieve. Electrochemical characteristics were better in mixed solvents system than in mono solvent system. The mono solvent system of 1.0 N electrolyte of GBL/TEABF$_4$ with activated carbon cloth electrodes showed better result but the mixed solvent system with PC and DMF/TEABF$_4$(50:50 vol%) and the concentration of 1.0 N electrolyte showed the best characteristics. Internal resistance was 3.47 $\Omega$ and specific capacitance was 19.1 F/g respectively.y.

도료 제조업 근로자들의 복합유기용제 폭로농도에 관한 연구 (Evaluation of Mixed Organic Solvent Exposures in Painting Plants)

  • The exposure levels of mixed organic solvents for 66 exposed workers in six paint manufacturing plants were evaluated. In 66 exposed workers and 30 control subjects, we also determined the concentrations of toluene and xylene metabolites, hippuric acid, ($o^-$, $m^-$, and $p^-$)methylhippuric acid. The results were as follow ; 1. Seven organic compounds, which on averge accounted for approximately 90% of the identified mass in each painting plants air samples, were selected for quantification : methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, methyl isobutyl ketone, toluene, butyl acetate, ethyl benzene, ($o^-$, $m^-$, $p^-$)xylene. 2. The average mixed organic solvent exposure levels in 66 points with workplce were 3.8ppm of MEK, 12.2ppm of ethyl acetate, 4.0ppm of MIBK, 28.7ppm of toluene, 3.8ppm of butyl acetate, 10.2ppm of ethyl benzene, 14.6ppm of xylene, respectively. 3. For the total 66 points with workplace, the rate of them of which mixed solvents in air was exceeded th TLV of 1.0 were obtained for 23%(15/66 point). 4. The concentrations of hippuric acid in urine of exposed group and control were $0.94{\pm}0.65g/g$ of creatinine, $0.16{\pm}0.11g/g$ of creatinine, respectively. 5. There was a linear correlation between the end shift hippuric acid acid levels in urine and exposed toluene in air : y=0.02079X+494.2, r=0.6488, n=55 y:hippuric acid in urine(mg/g of creatinine), x:toluene levels in air(ppb) Toluene levels of 100ppm in air have been caculated to hippuric acid of 2.57g/g of creatinine in urine. 6. There was a linear correlation between the end shift methylhippuric acid acid levels in urine and exposed xylene in air : y=0.01664X+31.6, r=0.7264, n=55 y:methylhippuric acid in urine(mg/g of crea.), x:xylene levels in air(ppb) Xylene levels of 100ppm in air have been caculated to methylhippuric acid of 1.69g/g of creatinine in urine.

  • Chalcopyrite semiconductor $CuInSe_2$ nanoparticles were prepared using a low temperature colloidal route by reacting the starting materials (CuI, $InI_3$ and $Na_2Se$) in solvents. After synthesised $CuInSe_2$ nanoparticles precursors were mixed with organic binder for the viscosity of the precursor slurry to be suitable for the doctor blade method. The mixture of $CuInSe_2$ and binder was deposited onto molybdenum-coated sodalime glass substrates to form thin film. The precursor thin films were preheated on the hot plate to remove remaining solvents and binder material. After subsequent thermal processing of the thin film under a selenium ambient, $CuInSe_2$ absorber layer with grain size significantly lager than that of the nanoparticles was formed.

  • Solder paste is widely used as a conductive adhesive in the electronics industry. In this paper, nano and microsized mixed lead-free solder powder (Sn-Ag-Cu) is used to manufacture solder paste. The purpose of this paper is to improve the storage stability using different types of solvents that are used in fabricating the solder paste. If a solvent of sole acetate is used, the nano sized solder powder and organic acid react and form a Sn-Ag-Cu malonate. These formed malonates create fatty acid soaps. The fatty acid soaps absorb the solvents and while the viscosity of the solder paste rises, the storage stability and reliability decrease. When ethylene glycol, a dihydric alcohol, is used the fatty acid soaps and ethylene glycol react, preventing the further creation of the fatty acid soaps. The prevention of gelation results in an improvement in the solder paste storage ability.

  • The glass electrode was empirically calibrated in dioxane-and ethanol-water mixed solvents, by means of which the pH-meter reading could be converted to stoichiometric hydrogen ion concentration. By the potentiometric titration method, the thermodynamic dissociation constants of hydrogen cupferrate (HCup) with variations of ionic concentration in aqueous solution were determined, and by the extrapolation of the constants the new thermodynamic $pK_a$ value, 3.980${\pm}$0.006, at zero ional concentration was obtained. The thermodynamic dissociation constants of HCup in dioxane-and ethanol-water solution were also potentiometrically determined with the changes in composition of organic solvents at 0.01 and 0.05 of the ionic strength(${mu}$) and 25 $^{\circ}C$. The empirical formula of the constants with mole fraction(n) of the organic solvent are as follow: Dioxane-water solution. $pK_a$= 12.96n + 4.10 at ${\mu}$ = 0.01, n = 0.0228∼0.171 $pK_a$= 12.05n + 4.23 at ${\mu}$ = 0.05, n= 0.0228∼0.171 Ethanol-water solution, $pK_a$= 4.0ln + 4.26 at ${\mu}$= 0.01, n= 0.0395∼0.262 $pK_a$= 3.83n + 4.34 at ${\mu}$= 0.05, n= 0.0395∼0.262
