세대간의 웰빙인식정도와 웰빙관련 실천행동의 비교 (Comparison of Awareness and Practice on Well-being Life and Related Behaviors According to Generations)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the awareness and practice on well-being life and well-being related behaviors, and the various factors affecting well-being related behaviors such as purchasing food materials, food habits, eating out and daily routine activities. A survey was conducted by questionnaire and on a 5-point Likert scale. The subjects of this study were composed of 221 students and their 102 parents who were over 40 years residing in the Ulsan area. The results of this study are summarized as follows: Almost half of the subjects (47.4%) responded that they have good health conditions; to keep a good health condition, 41.2% of the subjects were exercising regularly and 20.4% of them kept diet control. In regard to the meaning of well-being, 66.6% of the subjects thought it is the lifestyle for physical and mental richness (children: 70.6%, parents: 57.8%). 30.3% of the subjects answered that the most important part of well-being was food related. The importance order was mental richness, food related things, physical health for children, and for the parents, it was food related things, physical health, mental richness. Most of population (45.8%) answered that they have a willingness for the pursuit of a well-being life. Among the well-being related behaviors, 69.7% of subjects have purchased items (children: 61.5%, parents: 87.3%). 37.2% of the subjects have acquired information from TV. The average well-being practice score was $61.01{\pm}10.36$. Children's scores were significantly lower than the parent's scores (p < 0.001). And the average practice score of 'purchasing food materials,' 'eating out,' 'food habits,' 'daily routine activities' were $15.3{\pm}3.3,\;15.5{\pm}3.1,\;16.8{\pm}3.3$ and $13.4{\pm}3.5$, respectively. Among five types of purchasing food materials, 'purchasing domestic agricultural food' was greatest ($3.64{\pm}0.91$) and 'purchasing of organic or low agricultural chemical food products' was lowest ($3.15{\pm}0.91$). In regard to food habits, 'eating rice and bread made of mixed grains' was greatest ($3.46{\pm}1.12$) and 'eating uncooked food or zen food' was lowest ($2.46{\pm}0.99$). The practice scores were significantly affected by gender (p < 0.05), monthly income (p < 0.01), educational level (p < 0.01), presence of disease (p < 0.05), subjective health condition (p < 0.05), well-being awareness (p < 0.001) and concern with well-being (p < 0.001). Well-being awareness scores and well-being practice scores are related positively. Therefore various programs in well-being education should be necessary in order to boost the authentic perceptions of well-being and well-being oriented behaviors in any socioeconomic situation, such as different generations; industrial companies producing well-being goods for consumer's needs and satisfaction; and government and local community create various conditions for well-being oriented behavior.

고해상도 위성영상을 활용한 갯벌 퇴적상 변화 연구 (A Study on the Sedmentary Facies Change in the Tidal Flat Using High Spatial Resolution Remotely Sensed Data)

  • 이 연구에서는 공간해상도 4m 급의 고해상도 위성인 IKONOS 및 Kompsat-2 영상자료와 현장조사 자료를 기반으로 지리정보시스템 분석기법을 적용하여 천수만 황도 갯벌의 표층 퇴적상 분포의 변화 양상을 파악하였다. 2001년 2월에 획득된 IKONOS 영상과 2008년 4월에 획득된 KOMPSAT-2 영상을 이용하여 객체 기반 분류법 (object-based classification)에 의해 갯벌의 표층 퇴적상 분포도를 작성하였다. 두 시기에 얻어진 퇴적상 분포도로부터 각 퇴적상의 면적을 추출하고, 이를 통해 두 시기 동안 연구지역 갯벌의 표층 퇴적상 변화를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 황도 갯벌에서는 2000년 대 초반에 비해 전반적으로 모래 성분이 증가하여 펄 퇴적상의 상당 부분이 혼합 퇴적상으로 변화한 것으로 나타났다. 펄 퇴적상은 2000년대 초에 비해 후반에 5.81% 증가하였으나, 혼합 퇴적상과 모래 퇴적상은 각각 4.46%와 2.14% 증가하였다. 2004년 4월과 2009년 5월 및 2010년 5월 현장조사 결과에 대한 비교분석을 통해 이를 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과, 고해상도 위성영상과 지리정보시스템 분석기법의 활용을 통해 갯벌 표층 퇴적상 분포의 변화 양상을 모니터링하는 것이 가능한 것으로 판단된다.

Propylene Oxide를 이용한 졸-겔법에 의한 MO·Fe12O18 (M/Ba, Sr) 나노 분말의 합성과 물리적 특성 (Synthesis and Physical Properties of MO·Fe12O18 (M/Ba and Sr) Nanoparticles Prepared by Sol-Gel Method Using Propylene Oxide)

  • Propylene oxide (PPO)를 gelation agent로 한 졸-겔법으로 입자가 균일하고 자기적 특성이 우수한 $MO{\cdot}Fe_{12}O_{18}$ (M/Ba and Sr)의 구조식을 가지는 M-type hexagonal ferrite를 제조하였다. 본 방법으로 얻은 졸-겔용액은 매우 안정적인 분산상태를 보이며, $Fe^{3+}$의 겔화가 진행되고, 생성된 $Fe_2O_3$의 표면에서 $Ba^{2+}$ 또는 $Sr^{2+}$의 겔화가 진행되는 것으로 설명될 수 있어서, +3가 이하의 금속이라도 +3가 이상의 금속 존재 하에는 겔화가 가능한 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 기존 방법과 비교하여 값싼 원료를 사용하며, 반응 시간도 1 min 이내로 짧아지는 장점이 있다. 본 제조법으로 얻어진 분말은 기왕에 발표된 문헌 값과 비교하면 $150^{\circ}C$ 이상 낮은 열처리 온도에서 최고의 자기적 특성을 나타냈으며, 향상된 자기적 특성을 보였다. Sr-ferrite의 경우 최대포화자화 값 74.4 emu/g, 보자력 값 6198 Oe을, Ba-ferrite의 경우도 최대포화자화 값 68.1 emu/g, 보자력 값 5155 Oe을 보였다. 이들은 기존에 발표된 문헌 값과 비교하면 각각 10%와 5% 이상 증가된 보자력 값을 나타내어, 고밀도 자기기록재료에 적합함을 확인하였다. 제조된 분말은 1차 건조 분말의 경우 3~5 nm의 입자들이 응집된 50 nm 정도의 구형입자가 생성되고, 열처리 후에는 500 nm 정도의 고른 크기를 가진 육각판상형 입자가 생성된다.

  • 우리나라의 유전자변형농산물 의무 표시제가 시행됨에 따라 수입 유전자변형농산물 중 유전자변형 콩의 혼입유무를 판별할 수 있는 검정기술 개발이 요구되고 있다. 근사미(glyphosate)제초제에 저항성을 나타내는 토양미생물인 Agrobacterium CP4 유래의 5-enolpyruvyl shikimate-3-phosphate synthase(EPSPS) 유전자의 도입여부를 PCR로 진단할 수 있는 특이프라이머를 제작하여 제초제저항성 콩(Roundup Ready Soybean, RRS)을 검정할 수 있는 PCR조건을 확립하였으며 콩의 내재유전자인 lectin유전자와 RRS특이 프라이머를 이용하여 duplex PCR에 의한 제초제저항성 콩의 검정법을 확립하였다. 또한 수입 콩 및 콩나물에 대하여 근사미 제초제 처리로 저항성 개체를 판별하는 생물검정법도 확립하여 저항성 개체의 잎에서 분리한 genomic DNA에 대하여 EPSPS특이 프라이머를 이용하여 분석한 결과 RRS특이적인 PCR밴드를 확인하였다. 또한 수입 콩의 백립중과 종실의 제색을 고려할 때 단일품종이 아닌 여러 품종이 혼합되어 있음을 확인하였다.

서울시내 고소득층 아파트단지 국민학교 어린이의 체격과 식생태에 관한 조사연구 (A Study on food Ecology According to Obesity Index of Elementary School Children in a High Socioeconomic Apartment Complex in Seoul)

  • An ecological survey of food and nutrition was conducted in April and May, among 278 children, 6 to 12 years old, of the Youido elementary school, which offers no school lunch program, and is situated in Youido delta of Han River side of Seoul, known as the location of one of the socioeconomically high groups; Eighteen percent and 18.3% of subjects were proven to be overweight and obese, respectively. With regard to frequency of skipping breakfast, 28.4% of the subjects skipped breakfast often and 2.5% of subjects skipped breakfast every morning. Obese children showed good appetite and the time consumed for eating was shorter than those of normal or overweight children. Most serious anxiety among the mothers for those children was food habit of `eating rapidly' and `overeating'. Another striking observation was that 14.4% of the subjects ate only one side-dish with boiled rice, and such a pattern was more often found in the normal or slim group. Most of the subjects had their snacks after being back in home from school. Thirty-one percent of the children had snacks when they felt hungry, 69% had snacks for various reasons such as `habitually', `for unwinding', and `mother gives me snacks'. Thirty-eight percent of the boys and 19% of the girls had physical exercise everyday and overweight and obese children got exercise more frequently. But the time consumed for exercise was much more shorter than that of normal subjects. Most of the children liked fruits, meats, and biscuit, in contrast, lowest preferency was for vegetables, fermented fish products, and boiled rice mixed with other grains. Obese children experienced more kinds of food than normal or slim group. The study found that habits of overeating due to good appetite and eating rapidly were recognized as one of dominant reasons causing obesity among children. On the other hand, serious dietary problem of children of normal or slim group was eating less variety of food. Active nutrition education for both children and mothers will be recommended with joint participation of teachers.

국민학교(國民學校) 아동(兒童)의 영양섭취실태(營養攝取實態)와 성장발육(成長發育)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (A Study in Every Possible Correlation between Daily Food Intake and Growth Rate of Primary School Students)

  • With the object of the study id every possible correlation between daily food intake and growth rate of primary school students, aged eleven years old, the author distributed prepared questionnaires through 200 children of 5th grade in both sexes in K private primary school, Seoul. Specific object of this study were included following three points: such as daily food intake records for six days. daily food intake records for six days. school records of sample children at the end of 4th grade. physical growth index calculated by means of weight and height of sample children at the first part of the 5th grade. CR. t. F. test as well as percentage calculations were included for statistical analysis. The result of this study were as follows: 1. For the living circumstances a) Average numbers of brother and sister in sampled family were two to three. b) Approximately 50%of the children were brought up by mother's milk at their infants and about 35% of children were weaned at the age of 7 to 12 months. c) Thirty to forty percent of the respondents revealed irregulity in their meal time due to early school time in the morning. d) Monthly average expenditure for daily food reached 20 to 29% out of total income. e) The most favorit foods reflect as follows: The most favorit main dish is boiled rice mixed with other careals and side dish beaf. Fruits and juice are more popular snack among whole children. 2. Nutrition survey a) The calcium and thiamine were the most limited factors out of daily nutrients consumption. b) The total calory intake were composed of carbohydrate 63%, protein 16% and fat 21% respectively. c) The total food intake were composed of 20 to 24% of animal source of foods and 76 to 80% of plant source of foods (vegetables, grains, fruits) d) The total protein intake were composed of 46% of animal protein and 54% of others. e) The grain stuffs consumed in the largest quantity at the level of 50% out whole food groups. f) Twenty four percent of total food intake came from snack between meal time. 3. The result of statistical analysis were as follows: a) The correlation between the calory intake and plysical growth index revealed statistical significancy at the level of p<0.001. b) The correlation between the protein intake and physical growth index revealed statistical significancy at the level of p<0.001. c) The correlation between the meal time and physical growth index revealed statistical significancy at the level of 0.02

충북지역 학교급식 영양(교)사의 친환경 식재료에 대한 이용실태 및 인식 (Use and Perception of Environmentally-Friendly Ingredients by Dietitians in Chungbuk)

  • 본 연구는 충북지역 영양(교)사들을 대상으로 친환경 식재료에 대해 학교급식에 적용하고 있는 이용실태, 인식 및 의견, 친환경 급식제도 개선을 위한 요구도와 구매절차 개선방안을 조사하였다. 가장 사용빈도가 높은 친환경 농산물은 '잡곡류(58.9%)'였고 가장 사용하고 싶은 친환경 농산물은 '과실류(43.6%)'로 나타났다. 가장 사용빈도가 높은 친환경축산물은 '계란(36.6%)'이었고 가장 사용하고 싶은 친환경축산물로는 '돼지고기(40.8%)'로 응답되었다. 친환경 수산물을 사용한 적이 없다는 응답은 81.7%로 매우 높게 나타났고, 가장 사용하고 싶은 수산물은 '어류(54.5%)'로 조사되었다. 친환경 식재료 선택 시 '신선도'가 가장 중요시 되었고, 수산물은 농 축산물에 비해 친환경의 사용빈도가 매우 낮았고 수산물 인증에 대한 개념의 이해 정도가 낮게 나타났으며, 인증에 대한 신뢰도와 필요성도 낮은 수준으로 응답되었다. 중요도는 '친환경 인증 여부'와 '공급능력'이 높게 평가되었다. 친환경 식재료 공급업체의 납품능력에 대해 농 축산물은 보통 정도로 나타난 반면에 수산물의 경우 납품능력이 낮은 것으로 조사되었다. 친환경 식재료를 검수하기 위해 농산물은 '부착된 마크', 축산물은 '친환경 인증서류', 수산물은 '친환경 인증서류', 가공식품류는 '부착된 마크'를 각각 활용하였다. 친환경 식재료 최소 품질 요구 기준으로 무농약 농산물 수준 이상이 납품되어야 한다는 의견이 가장 많았다. 친환경 급식제도 개선을 위해 신뢰할 수 있는 납품업체 확보에 대한 요구도가 가장 높았고, 구매절차에 대한 개선안으로는 친환경 학교급식 전담센터 설치에 대한 요구도가 높게 조사되었다.

비행청소년과 일반청소년의 식생활 비교 연구 (h Study on Dietary Practices of Juvenile Delinquents in Korea)

  • The relationship between dietary practices and juvenile delinquency was studied using a dietary survey. Subjects were selected from juvenile delinquents who were under the supervision of the Seoul Probation Office of the Ministry of Justice. The study group consisted of 52 male and 52 female delinquents. As a control group, 104 exemplary high school students were selected in Seoul. A questionnaire was designed to find out the subjects' general characteristics, dietary habits, lifestyle, eating behavior, food frequency, and nutrient intake using the 24-hour recall method. Compared to the exemplary students, the juvenile delinquents were significantly different in education level, family status, monthly allowance, residence status, breast fed, parents' education level, parents' concern. In dietary habits, fifty-eight percent of the juvenile delinquents ate 2 or fewer meals per day, preferred to eat with friends, and liked hot tasting foods. The juvenile delinquents consumed more ion drinks (OR = 9.26 CI: 3.83 -22.37), rameon (OR = 7.67 CI: 3.21 - 18.33), cola (OR = 6.75 CI: 2.91 - 15.69), soft drinks (OR = 6.12 CI: 2.53- 14.81), steamed korean sausage (OR = 5.34 CI:2.31 - 12.32), hamburger (OR = 5.15 CI: 1.91 - 13.87), kimbab (OR = 3.63 CI: 1.76-7.46), ddokbokgi (OR = 3.17 CI: 1.58-6.38), candy (OR = 3.08 CI: 1.41-6.73), white rice (OR = 2.59 CI: 1.19-5.64), hotdog (OR = 2.52 CI: 1.31-4.86), and less rice mixed with grains (OR = 0.02 CI: 0.01-0.05), tangerine (OR = 0.06 CI: 0.02 - 0.20), milk (OR = 0.29 CI: 0.14 - 0.60), roasted fish (OR = 0.32 CI: 0.28-0.99, anchovy (OR = 0.35 CI: 0.17 - 0.72), seaweed (OR = 0.37 CI: 0.16 - 0.83), and tofu (OR = 0.48 CI: 0.23-0.99) than the exemplary students. With respect to the juvenile delinquents, the nutrient intakes lower than 75% of the Korean RDA were for riboflavin (75.0%) and calcium (47.9%) among the boys, and calcium (46.9%) and iron (60.4%) among the girls. To prevent juvenile delinquency, nutritional education and well-balanced school food service meals should be emphasized so as to improve the management of dietary practices. 수도(水稻)에 대(對)한 합성규산물질(合成珪酸物質)의 효과(效果) (Effect of The Fused Siliceous Materials on Rice Plant)

  • 규산재료(珪酸材料)인 강사(江砂) 및 석영(石英)과 농용(農用) 소석회(消石灰)의 혼합(混合) 용융물(溶融物)에 대(對)한 규산질(珪酸質) 비료(肥料)로써의 효과(效果)를 구명(究明)코져 유효규산함량(有效珪酸含量)이 낮은 답토괴(畓土壞)에서 수도(水稻)에 대(對)해서 천연(天然) 규회석(珪灰石)을 대조(對照)로 시비처리(施肥處理)하여 시험(試驗)한 결과(結果) 1. 모래용융물(溶融物)이 석영용융물(石英溶融物)에 비(比)하여 N/2 염산가용규산함량(鹽酸可溶珪酸含量)이 높고 2% 구연산 가용규산함량(可溶珪酸含量)은 석영용융물(石英溶融物)이 모래용융물(溶融物)보다 높았다. 2. 벼의 규산흡수량(珪酸吸收量)은 석영용융물(石英溶融物)에서 가장 크고 모래용융물(溶融物)과 규회석(珪灰石)은 거의 같았으며 이용율(利用率)은 천연(天然) 규회석(珪灰石)이 가장 높고 석영용융물구(石英溶融物區)가 모래용융물구(溶融物區)보다 높았다. 3. 정조수량(正租收量)은 규산물질(珪酸物質)의 시용(施用)으로 수량구성요소중(收量構成要素中) 수당입수(穗當粒數), 등숙률(登熟率) 및 천입중(千粒重)의 증가(增加)로 증수(增收)되었으며 공시재료중(供試材料中) 석영용융구(石英溶融區)에서 가장 크게 증수(增收)하였으며 대조구(對照區)${\fallingdotseq}$모래용융물(溶融物) 100kg/10a<천연규회석(天然珪灰石)${\fallingdotseq}$모래용융물(溶融物) 300kg/10a${\fallingdotseq}$석영용융물(石英溶融物) 100kg/10a<모래용융물(溶融物) 500kg/10a${\fallingdotseq}$석영용융물(石英溶融物) 300kg/10a<석영용융물(石英溶融物) 500kg/10a의 순서(順序)이었다.

2012년~2013년 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용한 중년 남성의 단백질섭취비와 섭취패턴에 따른 대사증후군 위험도 비교 (Metabolic Syndrome Risk by Intake Ratio and Intake Pattern of Proteins in Middle-aged Men Based on the 2012-2013 Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey Data)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to compare intake of energy nutrients, physical characteristics, and the prevalence of metabolic syndrome according to protein intake group. Methods: Subjects were 827 men aged 40-65 years. The results presented were based on data from the 2012-2013 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey and analyzed using SPSS. The odds ratio (OR) of metabolic syndrome was assessed according to the protein intake group and intake pattern of protein-rich foods. Results: The mean of protein intake was $73.96{\pm}0.71g$. According to level of protein intake, four groups (deficient, normal, excess 1, excess 2) were created and their percentages were 8.3%, 39.6%, 37.1%, and 15.0% respectively. The mean of daily energy intake was $2,312.33{\pm}24.08kcal$. It was higher in excess group 2 than in the deficiency group (p < 0.001). Moreover, the intake of all energy nutrients increased significantly with protein intake group (p < 0.001). The main contribution to daily protein included mixed grains ($10.96{\pm}0.32g$), milled rice ($7.14{\pm}0.30g$), chicken ($3.50{\pm}0.21g$), and grilled pork belly ($3.04{\pm}0.16g$). With regard to physical characteristics, and blood pressure and blood test results, only body mass index increased significantly according to protein intake groups (p < 0.05). The prevalence of metabolic syndrome in subjects was 38.5%, and there was no significant correlation with protein intake group. The OR of metabolic syndrome increased with protein intake, and was higher 4.452 times in excess group 2 than in the normal group (p < 0.05). Conversely, the OR of metabolic syndrome according to the frequency of protein-rich food intake did not show a significant correlation. Conclusions: The results of this study can be used as significant supporting data to establish guidelines for protein intake in middle-aged men.
