A numerous designs of PI controllers have been suggested to solve out trade-off between tracing and regulating problems. We constructed the PI controller system with two-degree-of-freedom that is more analytic and a better approach to a practical one. In the conventional H$_{2}$ design of optimal PI controllers, the cost function includes only the plant output terms due to the divergent problems. Since the platn input temr is not considered in PI controller design, occasionally, the plant input thends to be either very large or saturated. To solve the prior mentioned problems, we employed a mixed $H_2/H_{\infty}$ method that combines the H$_{2}$ design method to decide optimal parameters of PI controller and the $H_2/H_{\infty}$ design method to minimize the maximum amplitude of plant input. The calculation time of the H$_{infty}$ norm was considerably reduced by the simple scalar function obtained by the wiener-hopf factorization of non-scalar functions.

Objective : This study was performed to examine the Herbal Acupuncture decrease the side effect of Bee Venom. Methods: We treated Bee Venom and various Herbal Acupuncture mixed Bee Venom using double blind test to 70th health youth, and checked pain, edema size, CBC, Serum biochemistry and Thermography. Results: 1. Herbal Acupuncture made by Morus bombycis Koidzumi showed good results to decrease the side effect of Bee Venom than any other Herbal Acupuncture. 2. We examined CBC, ESR and Serum biochemistry before and after treated. Special change was not showed. 3. We observed the pain and edema after treated Bee Venom and Morus bombycis Koidzumi Herbal Acupuncture mixed Bee Venom. We knew that Morus bombycis Koidzumi Herbal Acupuncture was decrease the pain and edema due to Bee Venom. 4. According to these clinical studies, Morns bombycis Koidzumi Herbal Acupuncture has a possibility to be a good partner of Bee Venom.

In this paper we deal with the small area estimation for the case that the response variables take binary values. The mixed effects models have been extensively studied for the small area estimation, which treats the spatial effects as random effects. However, when the spatial information of each area is given specifically as coordinates it is popular to use the geographically weighted logistic regression to incorporate the spatial information by assuming that the regression parameters vary spatially across areas. In this paper, relaxing the linearity assumption and propose a geographically weighted kernel logistic regression for estimating small area proportions by using basic principle of kernel machine. Numerical studies have been carried out to compare the performance of proposed method with other methods in estimating small area proportion.

레디믹스트콘크리트가 배치 플랜트에서 출하되어 현장에서 타설을 완료 할 때까지의 운반시간이 지연되는 경우가 있으며, 이로 인하여 워커빌리티가 저하되어 적절한 조치를 취하지 않고서는 시공이 어려운 문제점이 종종 야기되고 있다. 그래서 레디믹스트콘크리트의 운반시간에 따른 품질변화를 알아보며, 저하된 워커빌리티의 개선과 아울러 소요의 품질을 유지하기 위한 수단으로 시멘트와 물 및 유동화제를 추가로 첨가하는 방법과 유동화제의 적정 첨가량을 구하기 위한 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 레디믹스트콘크리트에 유동화제를 첨가하여 재믹싱함으로써 품질개선에 얼마간 유효한 결과를 얻었다.

Polyethylene, has long history and is widely used, was researched due to good electrical properties by many authors. But PE under stress has the critical defects of space charge accumulation and tree growth, so various methods such as catalyst, additives and blend to improve these problems have been execute, of which we selected blending method. As in our previous papers we investigated electrical conduction, dielectric and AC dielectric breakdown characteristics, we did DC dielectric breakdown characteristics in this paper. We selected pure LLDPE, pure EVA and LLDPE films mixed with EVA as specimens, which were mixed with the weight percentages of 50, 60, 70 and 80[wt%] to be thin film. DC applying voltage speed was 500[V/sec]. The relation between dielectric breakdown characteristics and the variations of super structure due to mixing was investigated, and especially trap level at amorphous region, threshold energy increment of conductive electron at free volume were considered.

Test statistics using cumulative sums of residuals have been widely used in various regression models including generalized linear models(GLM). Recently, Pan and Lin (2005) extended this testing procedure to the generalized linear mixed models(GLMM) having random effects, in which we encounter difficulties in computing the marginal likelihood that is expressed as an integral of random effects distribution. The Gaussian quadrature algorithm is commonly used to approximate the marginal likelihood. Many commercial statistical packages provide an option to apply this type of goodness-of-fit test in GLMs but available programs are very rare for GLMMs. We suggest a computational algorithm to implement the testing procedure in GLMMs by a freely accessible R package, and also illustrate through practical examples.

To implementation of white electroluminescnet device in this paper, two methods were tried without synthesis of new white EL phosphor. At first, ZnS:Mn,Cl was mixed with ZnS:Cu from 20 to 50 weight percents. Second, ZnS:Mn,Cl was mixed with blue dye from 0 to 1.2 weight percents. The devices for experiments were measured as following; current-voltage, emission spectrum, brightness-voltage and CIE coordinate system and frequency properties.

For statistical microarray data analysis, clustering analysis is a useful exploratory technique and offers the promise of simultaneously studying the variation of many genes. However, most of the proposed clustering methods are not rigorously solved for a time-course microarray data cluster and for a fitting time covariate; therefore, a statistical method is needed to form a cluster and represent a linear trend of each cluster for each gene. In this research, we developed a modified hierarchical mixture of an experts model to suggest clustering data and characterize each cluster using a linear mixed effect model. The feasibility of the proposed method is illustrated by an application to the human fibroblast data suggested by Iyer et al. (1999).

Recently, increasement of usage contents of sea sand in constructing concrete structures due to insufficiency of high quality river sand, led to many studies for steel corrosion and control methods on it in concrete. But, domestic studies for threshold chloride contents of steel corrosion are not so many as those of foreign states. In this study, the electrochemical test as half cell potential measurement and linear polarization method to estimate the corrosion of steel in contents mixed with several levels chloride contents was performed, thereby, pre-mixed chloride were compared with results measured quantitatively for steel corrosion. And, based on these data, a trial to determine threshold chloride contents of steel corrosion was made.

In recent research in this emerging and latent heat storage material features an innovative temperature - controlled Phase Change Materials to evaluate the superior thermal performance would like to calculate the thermal conductivity. Specified in KS F 4040 test specimen dimensions were equivalent in specifications, test methods according to KS L 9016 was an experiment in progress. As a result, the thermal conductivity of plain cement mortar mixed with more PCM came out with low thermal conductivity of mortar, thermal performance was excellent.
