  • Purpose: In this paper, the improvement of the image quality is investigated. The image quality is degraded by the drift phenomenon of EO/IR (Electro-Optical/Infrared) device on UAV. The drift phenomenon means that the image of EO/IR equipment on UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) moves to the unintended direction. This phenomenon should be improved for successful flight mission. Methods: To improve the drift phenomenon, the drift compensation method, the combination algorithm of FMC(Forward Motion Compensation) and AMC(Angular Motion Compensation) method, are introduced to calculate pitch and azimuth angle. Result values of pitch and azimuth angle are used for the improvement of image quality in EO/IR control logic. Results: The image quality is quantitatively improved more than 15 times through field test data of flight. Conclusion: Using the drift compensation technique, the image quality for EO/IR equipment is improved over 15 times than existing methods. This means the user of UAV with EO/IR device can perform a successful mission by keeping the line of sight for the target accurately.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation between the perspectives of Green Growth and Healthy Families, and to suggest an expansive paradigm for the study on Healthy Families in the context of Home Economics. From the perspective of Green Growth, the sustainability for future generations, the ecological value, and the foundation of the community network were searched as the key points. So, from the key points, and in the context of Healthy Families, two strategies were suggested: First, the care services in the Center for Healthy Families have to be extended to give more opportunities to the users and the various demands for the care services can be satisfied. Secondly, the exchange of services has to be more activate in the local community so that our society itself can become a completely family-friendly society. Moreover, this study suggested a mission of Home Economics, that the study for family policy, the development of related programs, and the education of professionals for the Center for Healthy Families can be more connected with the perspectives of Green Growth, especially the focus on family, its ecological living patterns and the detailed attitudes needed to balance between industry, the economy, and family in the context of Green Growth.

  • In this study, we was compared the reliability performance of the software reliability model, which applied the Goel-Okumoto model developed using the exponential distribution, to the logarithmic function modifying the intensity function and the Rayleigh form. As a result, the log-type model is relatively smaller in the mean squared error compared to the Rayleigh model and the Goel-Okumoto model. The logarithmic model is more efficient because of the determination coefficient is relatively higher than the Goel-Okumoto model. The estimated determination coefficient of the proposed model was estimated to be more than 80% which is a useful model in the field of software reliability. Reliability has been shown to be relatively higher in the log-type model than the Rayleigh model and the Goel-Okumoto model as the mission time has elapsed. Through this study, software designer and users can identify the software failure characteristics using mean square error, decision coefficient. The confidence interval can be used as a basic guideline when applying the intensity function that reflects the characteristics of the lifetime distribution.

  • Until now, many leadership styles have focused only on behavioral characteristics or skills. However, genuine leadership focuses on the essence of leadership. This study intends to analyze the effects of genuine leadership, the main body leading the corporate organization, on the organization's influence in order to achieve the organizational mission. In order to examine the relationship between genuine leadership, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment after deriving a research model as a method of research, we conducted a regression analysis after frequency analysis, validity, and reliability analysis to examine the effect of genuine leadership on organizational commitment and job satisfaction. looked at the As a result of the analysis, it was found that leadership had a positive effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

  • Function Point(FP) is well spread and advanced methodology in software costing. But FP is not common in game contents costing. It is one reason that Game Contents is a new area in software costing. And, ISO/IEC FDIS 19761(final draft) recommends not to use FP method in game contents costing. So we suggested new methodology in that area which is called Game Factor Point Method(GFPM). In this paper, we studied more about the weight of the game factor. We hope this will clarify them. We made definition of game factor, and studied more detail about Mission which was a little ambiguous in prior study. We also studied difficulties of game factor which will be a very important factor in game contents costing.

  • MSC is being developed to be installed on KOMPSAT(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite-II and to provide high resolution multi-spectral. MSC consists of three main subsystems. One is EOS(Electro-Optics Subsystem), another is PMU(Payload Management Unit) and the other is PDTS(Payload Data Transmission Subsystem). There is an SBC(Single Board Computer) in the PMU to control all MSC subsystems. SBC incorporates Intel 80486 as a main processor and VxWorks as a real-time operating system. SBC software consists of four main tasks and several modules to deal with all control information for imaging and all the state of health telemetrv data, and to perform interface with another MSC units. SBC software also has to handle a lot of commands in order for MSC to perform his mission. One mission command consists of a series of related commands, which are In be executed in the designated sequence, with a specified time ...

  • The Satellite Operation System (SOS) has been developed for a low earth orbiting remote sensing satellite, Korea Multipurpose Satellite-I, to monitor and control the spacecraft as well as to perform the mission operation. SOS was designed to operate on UNIX in the HP workstations. In the design of SOS, flexibility, reliability, expandability and interoperability were the main objectives. In order to achieve these objectives, a CASE tool, a database management system, consultative committee for space data systems recommendation, and a real-time distributed processing middle-ware have been integrated into the system. A database driven structure was adopted as the baseline architecture for a generic machine-independent, mission specific database. Also a logical address based inter-process communication scheme was introduced for a distributed allocation of the network resources. Specifically, a hotstandby redundancy scheme was highlighted in the design seeking for higher system reliability and uninterrupted service required in a real-time fashion during the satellite passes. Through various tests, SOS had been verified its functional, performance, and inter-face requirements. Design, implementation, and testing of the SOS for KOMPSAT-I is presented in this paper.

  • When simulating the mission flight of a fighter equipped with the avionic ECM pod, it is massively required to provide the correct information of threats, to depict the real environment of mission area, and to precisely model the capability of the ECM system. Also, in order to get the reliable results of those simulation, it should be supported the flexible changes of threat environments and the examination of multiple flight paths. This paper presents a software system which is possible to flexible and interactive ECM simulation. This system has capable of the 2D or 3D visualization of virtual battle field, the management of electronic threat data, and the simulation of engagement model.

  • This study was conducted to reflect on the 30th anniversary of the Korean Home Economics Education Association(hereafter KHEEA) and to put forth a vision and a mission statement. To meet this purpose, first, reflection points were including the achievements of KHEEA for the last 30 years, the status of home economics education, themes of the bi-annual conferences of the Association, and the social contribution of home economics teachers. It was revealed that research and instruction in home economics education thrived by addressing social needs through its efforts in its 30 years of history. Second, a vision and a mission of home economics education were proposed in order to explore the prospective role of home economics education. The sharing of vision and mission functions as an ideal value and goal that home economics education as a profession should pursue, and it leads home economics professions to the direction that it should pursue. From this study, acting on a vision and a mission of home economics education, will lead to the development of a free individual, free society and sustainable environment, ultimately achieving the total well-being of individuals and families, society, and environment. This study reached the conclusion that the role of home economics education will become more prominent in the future society.
