10-V 조셉슨접합 어레이의 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication and Characteristics of 10-V Josephson Junction Array)

  • 10-V Josephson junction array arranged in 8 parallel stripline paths was fabricated using self-aligning and reactive ion etching techniques. These techniques were introduced in detail with aim of obtaining high-quality junctions. The array has 18,184 Josephson junctions with the area of $12\mu\textrm{m}$$\times$$38\mu\textrm{m}$. The gap voltage and minimum critical current density were about 2.7 ㎷ and /$23 A\textrm{cm}^2$, respectively. And the critical current density and leakage current at 5 volt were about 27 $A/\textrm{cm}^2$ and $5\mu\textrm{A}$, respectively When operated in the frequency range of 76-88 ㎓, the away generated constant voltage steps up to 14-19 V. The step size near 10-V was more than 7 $\mu\textrm{A}$.

  • The hazards of electrical shock are well known, but the conventional ground fault circuit breakers did not provide the statis factory safety for human body. Thus this paper considers the standards of performance that they must meet, and describes the new tripping mechanism the operations and the improvements. The experiment at new G.F.C.I. indicates maximum tripping time 25msec minimum sensitive leakage current 25mA and maximum nonaperation leakage current 15mA.

서울시 최저주거기준 미달가구의 시.공간적 특성과 변화(1995~2010년) (Spatio-Temporal Changes and Characteristics of Households Failing to Meet the New Minimum Housing Standard in Seoul Metropolitan(1995~2010))

  • 최저주거기준은 자본주의 산업화 과정과 급격한 도농인구이동 과정에서 공통적으로 나타난 노동자계급의 주거환경 악화와 공중보건위생 문제에 대처하기 위한 수단으로, 주거복지 정책의 주요 쟁점으로 발전하였다. 본 논문에서는 주요 선진국을 대상으로 최저주거기준이 제도화되는 역사를 살펴보고, 서울시를 대상으로 2011년에 개정된 새로운 최저주거기준을 적용하여 1995년 이후 최저주거기준 미달가구의 시계열적 변화패턴과 지역별 특성을 분석한다. 분석결과 2010년 서울시의 미달가구는 50.1만 가구(136.8만 명, 14.4%)로 전국 평균인 11.8%에 비해 처음으로 높아졌으며, 2005년의 50.9만 가구에 비해 거의 감소하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 서울 최저주거기준 미달가구 감소추세의 정체는 다른 시 도, 다른 시기에는 한 번도 관찰된 바 없는 현상으로서 개별 가구의 독자적인 능력만으로는 주거환경을 개선 할 수 없는 구조적인 한계 가구 층이 존재한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 아울러 서울시의 기타 거처(1.3%) 및 지하 옥상 거주 비율(9.6%)이 전국에서 가장 높아 서울시의 주거환경이 질적인 측면에서 가장 열악한 지역으로 변하였다는 것을 알 수 있다. 미달가구의 공간적 분포는 동북권과 서남권 방면으로 양분되어 있고, 여성가구주, 중장년층, 이혼가구, 저학력 및 대학 대학원 재학생, 비아파트 거주가구, 15~20년 경과주택 등에서 높은 미달비율을 보이고 있다.

지오튜브공법의 실용화방안에 관한 연구 (Development of Geotube for Practical Use)

  • Geotube is a tube made of permeable but soil-tight geotextile, hydraulically filled with soil include dredged sand and mud, which has been successfully applied in hydraulic and coastal engineering projects. This method is getting popular and used a lot in the advanced countries of the world because of economical, useful, and enable to store and isolate contaminated materials as obtained by harbor dredging. Laboratory and pilot scale in-situ tests were performed to determine the design methodology and construction procedures. From the results of laboratory and in-situ model tests, the retention ratio of solid particle is minimum 86% and minimum permeability and tensile strength of geotextile is ${\alpha}$${\times}$10$\^$-2/ and 20 t/m, respectively. Also, based on the environmental model test results, it can be concluded that this method does meet the Korean EPA standards.

Ceotube method is getting popular and being used a lot in many countries of the world because of the simplicity of the placement and construction, cost effectiveness and minimum impact on the environment, and enable to store & isolate contaminated materials as obtained by harbor dredging. Laboratory tests and field construction were performed to determine the design methodology and construction procedures. From the results of laboratory and field construction, the retention ratio of solid particle is a minimum 86%. Automated design of optimum longitudinal reinforcement for flexural and axial loading

  • The problem of a concrete cross section under flexural and axial loading is indeterminate due to the existence of more unknowns than equations. Among the infinite solutions, it is possible to find the optimum, which is that of minimum reinforcement that satisfies certain design constraints (section ductility, minimum reinforcement area, etc.). This article proposes the automation of the optimum reinforcement calculation under any combination of flexural and axial loading. The procedure has been implemented in a program code that is attached in the Appendix. Conventional-strength or high-strength concrete may be chosen, minimum reinforcement area may be considered (it being possible to choose between the standards ACI 318 or Eurocode 2), and the neutral axis depth may be constrained in order to guarantee a certain sectional ductility. Some numerical examples are presented, drawing comparisons between the results obtained by ACI 318, EC 2 and the conventional method.

평면도의 최소 영역 평가에서 유전자 알고리듬과 심플렉스 방법의 비교 (Comparison between Genetic Algorithm and Simplex Method in the Evaluation of Minimum Zone for Flatness)

  • The definition of flatness is given by ISO, ANSI, KS, etc. but those standards don't mention about the specific methods for the flatness. So various solution models that are based on the Minimum Zone Method have been proposed as an optimization problem for the minimax curve fitting. But it has been rare to compare some optimization algorithms to make a guideline for choosing better algorithms in this field. Hence this paper examined and compared Genetic Algorithm and Simplex Method to the evaluation of flatness. As a result, Genetic Algorithm gave the better or equal flatness than Simplex Method but it has the inefficiency caused from the large number of iteration. Therefore, in the future, another researches about alternative algorithms including Hybrid Genetic Algorithm should be achieved to improve the efficiency of Genetic Algorithm for the evaluation of flatness.

Introduction of Directive 2002/44/EC

  • Objective: The aim of this paper is to introduce the Directive 2002/44/EC on the minimum health and safety requirements regarding the exposure of workers to the risks arising from vibration. Background: Human beings interact with machinery, and contact with vibration is commonplace. Unfortunately, continuous exposure to mechanical vibration can lead to physical injury. And standards are needed for identifying those at risk and for taking steps to mitigate the problem and reduce risk of injury. Method: The contents of the Directive were summarized and discussed, especially against its ISO counterparts. Results: The Directive deals with minimum safety and health prescriptions relative to workers' exposure to risks due to mechanical vibration. This directive specifies exposure limit values and action values. It also specifies employers' obligations with regard to determining and assessing risks, sets out the measures to be taken to reduce or avoid workers' exposure. Finally, it details how to make exposed workers aware of this issue. Conclusion: In spite of some limitations, it has recently been transcribed into all national laws of member States of European union. Application: The results of the paper might help to establish or update the domestic standards on vibration.

1-2인 가구를 위한 공동주택의 공용공간 규정에 관한 한국·일본·영국의 건축법규 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Laws regulating Multi-family Housing Amenities for Single or 2 resident Household in Korea, Japan and UK)

  • This research was aimed at finding clues of improving residential quality of the Urbanistic Housing which was introduced for the small household of 1-2 residents. It was the laws on communal amenity in multi-family housing that this research concentrated on. Looking into the multi-family housing standards for small household of Korea, Japan and UK, Japanese One-room housing Ordinance of Tokyo-do laid stress on avoiding conflict among residents and getting people mixed together. And UK's concentrated on every individual rooms inside HMO and suggested certain level of qualified life through the careful standards. On the other hand, Korea's just suggested minimum housing with unit households and nearly no amenity except for parking lots. There should be more than a physical space with some area which satisfies basic physiological needs in a residence. To become a quality residence filled with relationship, it is necessary that Urbanistic Housing are also required to provide communal amenities, not as much as regular housing for regular household but much more than Quasi-housing, the minimum residence. And it should be ensured by the legal system to make it more effective.

최저임금의 고용효과에 관한 연구의 문제점과 개선방향 (Problems and Improvements in Research on the Employment Effect of Minimum Wage)

  • 최근 우리 사회는 최저임금의 인상폭을 둘러싸고 극심한 갈등을 겪고 있으며, 이에 대해 학계는 신뢰할만한 연구를 통해 적정한 기준을 제시하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 최저임금의 고용효과에 관한 기존 국내외 연구들의 경향과 문제점들을 살펴보고 개선방향을 제시하였다. 자연실험 또는 메타회귀분석법을 활용하는 최근의 해외 연구들은 최저임금의 인상이 고용량에 거의 영향을 미치지 못한다는 연구결과를 제시한다. 국내 연구들은 아직 그 수효가 많지 않을 뿐만 아니라 사용된 자료나 분석기간, 연구모형 등에 따라 고용효과에 대해 서로 다른 결론을 제시한다. 향후 연구에서는 자료수집 시 임금과 근로시간 등의 오차를 최소화하고, 최저임금 변화의 내생성 문제, 경제상황과 고용변화의 추세를 적절히 고려하여 최저임금의 고용효과를 측정해야 하며, 해외 연구들에처럼 최저임금의 인상시기를 전후한 자연실험 방법을 적극 활용할 필요가 있다.
