Converting vacant lands for urban agriculture has become a popular topic for American cities to engage in on a program and policy level. The advocates of urban agriculture cite a number of potential benefits, ranging from promoting sustainable urban development, fostering social interaction and educational opportunities, regenerating neighborhoods, and empowering residents. With the emergence of vacant lands in South Korea, different strategies have been implemented for productive use. Nonetheless, less attention has been paid to reinvent vacant lands for urban agriculture. Therefore, this study has examined the case of the City of Milwaukee's vacant land initiatives and programs that were known to have brought a series of positive neighborhood revitalization outcomes. Compared to the case of Milwaukee, intensive land use and high property prices have turned to be the major actors that prevent an active use of vacant land for urban agriculture within the context of South Korean cities. Thus, this paper proposes the possibility of using vacant lands in apartment complexes for urban agriculture.

10years and 8 months old patient, who had been wearing Milwaukee brace for 5 months, was treated by multibanded system without extract on. She complianed severe protrusion and interdental spacing of upper anterior teeth. Cephalometric analysis revealed short anterior facial height, infraclusion of the lower first molars and severe profrusion of upper and lower anterior teeth. During orthodontic treatment Milwaukee brace was replaced by TLSO, so the orthopedic force on the dentofacial region was eliminated. After 2 years and 3 months, she gained raised bite, increased interincisal angle, salient reduction in the protrusion of upper central incisals with agreeable overjet, complete obliteration of interdental spacing and reduction of protrusion of upper and lower lips.

An analytical and experimental investigation is performed into the mechanical behavior of carbon-fiber/epoxy woven coned annular disk springs. An analytical approach is presented for predicting the deformation behavior of disk springs of specially orthotropic laminates with arbitrary geometric parameters. In addition, an analytical methodology is proposed for obtaining the deformation behavior of a stack of disk springs. The methodology is capable of accounting for parallel and series arrangements for uniform and irregular stacks. Element and assembly experimental results are used to validate the proposed method showing how to achieve flexible spring rates at various deflections ranges. This manuscript also provides guidelines for design and validation of disk spring assemblies.

A Study on Scoliosis Milwaukee Brace , Therapeutic Exercise -Oh, Kuyung- Hwan Scoliosis implies an appreciable lateral deviation in the spine. There are numerous theories of the etiology of scolisosis. but the true causative factors remain unknown ;thus this affliction currently cannot be prevented. Treatment essentially consists of early recognition, correction of existing curves, and prevention of the further progression of the curves . Tremendous strides are being made in the treatment of severe scoliosis but the desire for early nonoperative treatment is of paramount important. Many conservative nonoperative procedures have been advocated. Among th-em .Milwaukee brace and therapeutic exercise are the most effective ones .

Server transaction logs containing complete click-through data from a digital library of primarily image-based documents were analyzed to better understand user search session behavior. One month of data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and network analysis methods. The findings reveal iterative search behaviors centered on result views and evaluation and topical areas of focus for the search sessions. The study is novel in its combined analytical techniques and use of click-through data for image collections.
