S-대역 능동위상배열레이더용 수신전단기 연구 (Study on Front-End Receiver for S-band Active Phased Array Radar)

  • In this paper, we described the design and measurement results of a Front-End Receiver for S-band active phased array radar. The Front-End Receiver has input P1dB of -4dBm and IIP3 of 7dBm. The measurement results show that gain is $24{\pm}0.7dB$, noise figure are less than 2.3dB over the frequency range of $fc{\pm}0.2GHz$. The Front-End Receiver can protect the receiver path from large input signals with a maximum peak power of multi-kW and recovery time is less than 0.8us. The measurement results satisfy all specifications.

  • This paper describes a conceptual model for the performance analysis simulator of a weapon launching system. The system performance analysis simulator is envisioned to provide an integrated analysis environment in which the system performance and operational effectiveness can be analyzed in more rapid and efficient way. The conceptual model for the simulator describes a referent independently of specific technology and implementation, and it can be used to transform the simulator requirements into the simulator system specifications.

  • Naval equipments are installed and used for naval vessel with different environmental conditions comparing to the commercial vessel, for example, high engine power per ship displacement size, severe vibration and shock due to high running speed and explosion from naval gun's bombardment and underwater weapons. Therefore, those equipments must be installed on shipboard with small spaces, high ambient temperature around engine room and which are required be fabricated with high resistances of vibration, shock and heat resources. But in case of commercial vessel, the performances of their recent equipments naval have been improved continuously due to the technology development of domestic shipbuilding and shipboard equipment industries, together with the related fundamental industries i.e, metal, steel and electronic industries, to an international level since 1970. With these results, it became possible to unify the specifications of shipboard equipments for the commercial and military vessels(Dual-Use). In this study, vibration and shock test standards for the commercial and military vessels will be compared and reviewed technically.

  • Shipping related services is attracting attention as a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) application with the recent economy has been generally accepted drones. UAV of the existing military-driven logistics delivery, aerial photography, wireless Internet connection, broadcasting, disaster research, digital maps, transportation, advertising, meteorological, border surveillance, agricultural use, such as hobbies range of uses from up military are diverse and growing. The advantage of delivery drones seems to be an important feature of delivery of the goods, including labor-saving, long-distance transportation in cold weather. UAV is demanded by competitive performance development for commercialization. Privacy issues that may arise during the drone operation, ensuring marketability issues, control system, regulations, operational standards and specifications, etc. should be addressed. Development direction of Korea UAV based in current technology, regulation, and growth potential presented by deriving from the idea of 'GIF 2016 Gang-won Hackathon.

  • This paper is intended to investigate the Build-up Method of SCM(Supply Chain Management) Connection applying EC Standard. SCM helps companies plan and supply to meet customer demand. SCM is the only solution available today that enables an organization to strategize, plan and execute a company's buy, make, move, store, fulfill and service business processes across multiple enterprises for total profitability. The research of modern scientists has thrown new light on the subject. However, the study of SCM for EC Standard has been strangely neglected by critics. Consequently, existing SCM systems, which require to introduce the functions of EC, need to be changed. Summarizations of the main points that have been analyzed in this paper are as follows:. the sharing information for connection and the Rosetta-net standard of the existing SCM system(Order management module(PIP 3A4) of the Rosetta-net specifications for connection by the Rosetta-net). Finally, it shows the process of the gateway for connecting among the existing SCM systems.

AOP 기술을 이용한 DEVS 기반 시뮬레이터의 적응성 향상 기법 (Improving Adaptability of the DEVS Based Simulator with AOP)

  • The DEVS formalism has the well-defined relationship between its model and simulator. However, it does not define the connection between its model and experimental frame needed when a simulator's implemented with it. So, in most DEVS based simulators, the modules of the two parts are tangled, so that changing and reusing them is not easy. This paper proposes a method to improve the changeability of the experimental frame and the reusability of the model by modularizing the two parts using the AOP technology. I applied the new method to a real project, and the result shows that it improves the two qualities effectively than before.

무인 항공기 탑재용 Ku대역 안테나에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ku-band Antenna for Mounting on UAV)

  • In this paper, we proposed a Ku-band antenna that can be mounted on UAV. A proposed antenna structure has small size and light weight. It is considered long distance communication environment(LOS) and equipped UAV. Proposed antenna is designed $16{\times}2$ aperture coupled microstrip patch array antenna for high gain characteristics. In the measurement results, VSWR is less than 1.5 and the gain is over 21dBi in the bandwidth. Mechanical specifications of antenna assembly are ${\phi}250{\times}200mm$ of size and 3kg of weight.

  • 환경시험은 개발된 제품이 해당 운용환경에서 설계 성능을 발휘하는가를 운용성과 신뢰성 유지 측면에서 수행하고 있다. 항공전자장비에 대한 환경적합성 시험은 주로 개별 부품 단위로 수행되고 있으며 민간용 규격으로서 RTCA DO-160E이 활용되고 있다. 군용 환경규격은 항공분야 뿐만 아니라 전 군수품에 적용하고 있는 MIL-STD-810F 이외에 전자기 환경분야에는 MIL-STD-461E 등이 적용되고 있다. 항공전자장비에 대한 민간용과 군용 환경시험요건을 분석하여 그 연관성을 검토하였으며 특히 전자기 적합성 요건에 대하여 민간과 군용 규격을 비교 분석하여 민군 겸용화의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we considered the authoritative representation of Command and Fire Control System(CFCS) for the surface ship that was the engineering level model to develop system specifications and to analyze operational concepts on the concept design phase and to analyze military requirements, effectiveness and performance for the system. The engineering level model of CFCS can be used in simulation independently of the surface ship's type, and also it takes reuse, interoperability, and extension into consideration. The detailed sub-models, internal and external data interface, data flow among each sub-model, sensor and weapon models about the engineering level model of CFCS was defined. It was verified via engineering level simulations according to the V&V process.

  • Developers generally use test standards suggested by military standards such as MIL-STD-810G when performing vibration tests in the materiel development. However, according to MIL-STD-810G, it is recommended to test by tailoring the test standard suitable for the developed materiel, and it is specified to apply the suggested test standard only when there is difficulty in tailoring. In addition, the test standards presented by MIL-STD-810G are standards created under operating conditions different from the actual operating environment of each developed materiel, so the test according to this standard may be excessive or understated. Therefore, the developer must create an appropriate vibration test standard for the developed materiel as similar to the operating conditions as possible. In this paper, the procedure for creating the functional test standard and durability test standard suitable for the operating environment of the equipment to be mounted on the propeller aircraft under development is described, and the created standard is introduced.
