운동부하 심전도를 이용한 중년 남성들의 걷기 운동이 ST/HR 경사 및 QRS 벡터에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of the Walking Exercise on ST/HR Slope and QRS Vector in the Middle-Aged Men)

  • 본 연구는 중년 남성들을 대상으로 3년간 1년에 1회씩 3차례에 걸쳐 운동부하 검사 시 심전도 반응을 측정하여 야외 및 트레드밀 걷기 운동 참여 여부에 따라 부하 심전도의 변화에 어떠한 양상이 나타나는지를 규명하고자, 안정 시 신체조성 분석, 운동부하 검사 시 심전도 반응을 측정하였다. 안정 시 신체조성 분석은 체지방율과 BMI를 측정하였고, 안정 시 및 운동부하 검사 시 심전도 반응은 ST/HR 경사 및 QRS 벡터를 측정하였는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. ST/HR 경사의 변화에 있어서 운동 6분부터 통제 집단은 감소하기 시작하여 운동 9분과 peak시에 $2.4\;{\mu}V/bpm$ 이하로 감소하여 허혈 증상이 나타났다. 2. QRS 벡터의 축 각도에 있어서 안정 시 전면 축은 시간이 경과함에 따라 통제 집단이 우측으로 유의하게 편향되었고, 안정 시 수평면 축은 시간이 경과함에 따라 통제 집단이 등 쪽으로 유의하게 향하였다. 안정 시 수평면 파고의 길이에 있어서 통제 집단은 시간이 경과함에 따라 유의하게 감소하였고 걷기 운동 집단은 유의하게 증가하였다. 결론적으로 비 활동의 중년 남성들은 운동 중 심근 허혈 유발, QRS 벡터의 편향 등이 현저하게 나타난 반면, 규칙적인 야외 및 트레드밀 걷기 활동에 참여한 중년 남성들은 심혈관계 질환 위험 요소의 감소로 심장기능이 향상된 결과를 알 수 있었다.

대전$\cdot$충남지역 학교급식의 위생관리 실태조사 (A Study on the Sanitary Management of School Foodservice Operations in Daejeon and Chungnam)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the sanitary management status of school foodservice in Deajeon and Chungnam and to suggest basic data for sanitary improvement. A questionnaire was used in this study as a survey method. The subjects consist of 529 dietitians that are employed in the school ($primary{\cdot}middle{\cdot}high\;school$) foodservice. These results may be summarized as follows : $71.0\%$ of surveyed school foodservices managed separately place for contamination and uncontamination. $91.5\%$ didn't maintain adequate temperature at kitchen. A holding rate of hygiene utensils is lower in Chungnam than Daejeon. The dietitian group aged 30-34 showed significantly higher scores than other groups in personal hygiene of employees. The dietitian group graduated from a college showed significantly lower scores than other groups in purchasing & receiving, preparation, storage, food remains & waste, kitchen utensils and equipments and personal hygiene. It was significant to sowing, personal hygiene and facilities & structure by Daejeon and Chung-nam. In serving, Daejeon showed significantly lower scores than Chungnam. In personal hygiene, facilities and structure, Chungnam showed significantly lower scores than Daejeon. The foodservice group (started < 1990) showed significantly lower scores than other groups ($started{\ge}1990$) in preparation.

학교 아침급식에 대한 경북지역 영양(교)사의 인식 및 시행방안에 관한 연구 (Perception and action plans for school breakfast program by school nutrition teachers and dietitians in Gyeongbuk province)

  • This study aimed at investigating the perception and action plans of the school breakfast program (SBP) proposed by nutrition teachers and dietitians at elementary, middle, and high schools in Gyeongbuk province. The survey was carried via questionnaires throughout April to May 2010. Two hundred ten questionnaires were returned (52.5%) and out of the total, 194 were used for analysis. Of the respondents, 73% disagreed and 27% agreed to the implementation of SBP, although most respondents agreed to the importance of eating breakfast in children. The percentage of disagreement was higher among subjects with working experience of 15 years and more, age of 40 years and more, and those who were employed at elementary schools. The primary reasons of disagreement were 'eating breakfast with family is better' and 'it increases the cost of school foodservice'. The respondents preferred students' optional participation (62.9%) over universal participation (37.1%) of SBP. Action plans of SBP, which were proposed by nutrition teachers and dietitians, included direct operating system by the school, food delivery schedule prior to the day of serving, 2-3 hours of preparation time, serving food 50 minutes before the start of classes, and convenient style menu served at the school cafeteria. Efforts to lessen foodservice employees' workload as well as support from school principals and the Office of Education were suggested as prerequisites for a successful SBP implementation.

Characteristics of Occupational Injuries in the Automobile Parts Manufacturing Industry

  • Objective: This study aims to understand the occupational injury characteristics of the workers in the motor vehicle parts (automobile parts) manufacturing industry and to present basic guidelines on accident prevention through accident analysis. Background: There occur many occupational injuries in the motor vehicle parts manufacturing industry. But there were few researches for the occupational injuries of the workers in the motor vehicle parts manufacturing industry. Method: This study analyzed the data of occupational injuries of 1,609 workers in the motor vehicle parts manufacturing industry in 2015. The accident characteristics were analyzed by dividing them into worker related factors and accident related factors. Results: Among the occupational injuries of the workers in the motor vehicle parts manufacturing industry, 80.6% of the victims were males, 64.0% were older than 40. 57.8% of the victims were employed by the companies with less than 50 workers. In addition, there was a difference in accident characteristics according to age, work experience, employment type, events or exposures, accident time of the day, agents, natures of injuries and illnesses, injured organs and injured body part. Conclusion: It is important to prevent equipment/machinery accidents. For this purpose, more efforts should be made to establish safety measures faithful to the basics of safety devices and safety work procedures. It is also suggested that prevention of disasters should be intensively carried out for workplaces with less than 50 employees and middle-aged and elderly people. Application: The result can be used to present guidelines for preventative measures for the workers in the motor vehicle parts manufacturing industry including safety education/training.

The Factors Affecting Sweet Taste Sensitivity and Preference of the Korean Middle-Aged Females

  • Sensory factors are important determinants of appetite and food choices but little is known about factors affecting taste acuity and preference of Koreans. Any factors causing deficits in sweet taste perception may lead to over consumption of simple sugar, which is related to several chronic diseases. This study was conducted to determine factors affecting sweet taste sensitivity and preference. Subjects were 30 government employees who were serving as school dietitians or in the area of public health while they were studying in the program for the qualification to become nutrition teachers. Sweet taste threshold and the optimally-preferred sweetness of omija jelly were determined by a sensory evaluation and general characteristics, health-related lifestyles, dietary habits and food preferences were determined using a self-administered questionnaire. For the subjects of this study, detection threshold concentration of sucrose solution was $0.184{\pm}0.06%$ and optimally-preferred sucrose concentration of omija jelly was $13.88{\pm}2.28%$ and there was no significant correlation between the sweet taste sensitivity and preference. Subjects who had higher(${\ge}4$ out of 10) physical or psychological stress and who had late getting-up time (after 7am) tended to have lower sweet taste threshold (higher sensitivity) than their counterpart. The sweet taste preference determined by optimally-preferred sucrose concentration of omija jelly tended to be lower in the subjects who eat slowly. Those who answered in the questionnaire to prefer sweet foods did have significantly higher optimally-preferred sucrose concentration of omija jelly. Further research is required to determine whether decreased sensitivity and increased preference for sweetness can increase the actual intake of simple sugar. 치과위생사의 수행업무에 대한 인식도 및 실태조사 (A study on the job awareness of dental hygienists and their job performance)

  • The job of dental hygienists is specialized, and they have to be capable of performing their primary duties including prevention of oral diseases, oral prophylaxis, and oral health education. To ensure their successful job performance, dentists should have an accurate understanding of their duties and need a change of mind-set about them. And there should be written legal and concrete regulations on the coverage of their work in order to let them boost their job performance with pride and a sense of responsibility. The purpose of this study was to examine the actual roles and job performance of dental hygienists in clinical field in an attempt to discuss the substantial job performance of dental hygienists and their job enlargement. It's basically meant to help enhance the efficiency and quality of medical services. The subjects in this study were 471 dental hygienists in dental clinics, dental hospitals, university hospitals and general hospitals across the nation, on whom a survey was conducted in person from March 2 to 25, 2005. The collected data were analyzed with SPSS Win 12.0 program, and the findings of the study were as follows: 1. The major jobs they currently performed included oral health education, hospital management, simple duties, extensive dental hygiene duties and joint treatment assistance. They hoped to continue to be responsible for oral health education, preventive treatment and extensive dental hygiene duties. 2. As for their current job by age, extensive dental hygiene duties, preventive treatment, joint treatment assistance, preserving treatment, prosthetic treatment and pediatric treatment were most conducted by the dental hygienists who were at the age of 26 to less than 31, and those who were at the age of 31 and up were most responsible for hospital management and simple duties. 3. As to job awareness by workplace, their workload was statistically significantly different according to their workplace. The hospital employees took care of more work than those in clinics. 4. Concerning job awareness by age, the younger dental hygienists suffered more role conflicts and were given a less free hand in work handling, the middle-aged group's job was uncertain. Legal regulations about the coverage of their work should be prepared in detail as a measure to stir up their responsible job performance and pride. In order to take advantage of experienced dental hygienists, their duties should be more differentiated and specialized, and their working conditions should be improved to boost their job satisfaction. That is, they should be given ample chances for promotion and serving as a middle manager and be given fair treatment according to their career. If their work is accurately darified and specialized based on career, it will boost the efficiency of dental treatment. Dental hygienists also should direct sustained efforts into self-development in order to become a skilled and professional oral health personnel.

공무원들의 노후생활에 대한 인식 및 준비정도 (Degree of Recognition and Preparation for the Old Age Life of Public Servants)

  • 부산, 울산, 경남지역에 근무하는 공무원 중 편의표본 추출한 30대 및 40대를 중심으로 731명을 대상으로 하여 노후 생활에 대한 인식 및 준비정도 등을 조사하였다. 노후의 1차적 부양책임은 본인 및 배우자라는 응답은 83.9%였다. 노후생활 지역은 대도시 근교의 전원생활이라는 응답이 25.9% 였다. 노후생활에 예상되는 경제력 문제점에 대한 인식은 매우 문제가 될 것이다라는 응답이 33.0% 였다. 여가활동 문제점에 대한 인식에서는 그저 그렇다라는 응답이 43.4% 였다. 공무원들이 노후생활 경제력에 대해 나름대로 준비하고 있다는 응답은 75.0%였다. 노후생활의 공적연금의 충족정도는 부족하다가 56.0%, 적정하다가 17.2%, 모르겠다가 26.8%였다. 공무원들의 노후생활의 공적연금의 충족정도는 부족하다(409명 56.0%)가 이였으며, 공적연금의 충족정도에 따른 노후생활에 대한 경제적 준비내용은 먼저 공적연금 외 경제적 대책 준비정도와 공적연금의 충족정도 군별로 비교한 결과 부동산 투자, 부족분 자녀도움, 자신의 보유자산 이용에서 유의한 차이가 있었다. 분석결과, 중년층이 노후의 준비를 하는 데 있어서는 개인 스스로 노후준비의 필요성을 인식하고 장 단기적인 관점에서 경제적 신체적 사회적 측면에서 노후 대책을 마련하고 실천해 나가는 것이 가장 중요하였다.

단백질(蛋白質) 급원식품(給源食品)을 기피(忌避)하는 일부(一部) 유치원(幼稚園) 아동(兒童)의 식이형성(食餌形成)과 그 요인(要因) (A Study on the Preference on Protein Rich Foods in Kindergarten Children in Gyeong Nam Area)

  • 경남 마산시, 진해시, 창원시에 거주하고 있는 일부 유치원 아동중 단백질(蛋白質) 급원(給源) 식품(食品)을 기피(忌避)하는 103명(名)에 대(對)한 식이형성(食餌形成)과 그 요인을 조사(調査)한 결과(結果)는 다음과 같다. 1) 남여비(男女比)는 1.2 : 1로서 남아(男兒)에 다소 높게 나타나고 생활(生活)은 중류(中流)이며 어머니의 학력은 고졸(高卒), 그리고 첫째 아이가 많았고 대부분 $2{\sim}3$형제의 핵가족(核家族)이였다. 2) 단백질(蛋白質) 급원식품(給源食品) 38개중 50%이상이 기피(忌避)하는 식품(食品)은 메주콩, 꽁치, 고등어, 멸치, 조개, 굴, 된장, 명태, 북어, 납세미, 미꾸라지, 도미, 민어, 조기, 곰국, 쇠간, 돼지고기, 칼치 등 18개 식품(食品)이였고 33%이상이 먹어보지 못한 식품(食品)은 쇠간, 쇠곱창, 쇠갈비, 뱀장어. 미꾸라지 등을 들고 있었다. 3) 기피(忌避) 이유(理由)는 맛이 좋지 않아서가 43.7%로 가장 많았고 독특한 냄새가 싫어서가 29.1%를 나타내었고 어머니의 생각으로는 몸에 좋다고 억지로 먹이려한 것이 가장 큰 원인으로 (30.1%) 보고 있었고 다음이 가족이나 친구의 영향 (29.1%) 으로 보고 있었다. 4)이의 교정을 위하여 아동은 맛있고 예쁘고 골고루 해주기를 원했고 어머니들은 이에 관한 구체적인 영양교육 실시를 원하고 있었다.

중년층의 구강건강지식, 실천 및 보철치료 만족실태 조사 (A study for middle-aged on oral health knowledge, oral health care and satisfaction with prosthetic treatment)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the oral health knowledge and actual oral health care of the selected subjects, their decision making about prosthetic treatment, the state and characteristics of their prosthetic treatment and their satisfaction with prosthetic treatment in an attempt to provide some information on the improvement of the quality of life related to oral health and the promotion of oral health. Methods : The subjects in this study were 250 people who received education in two different lifelong education institutions in the city of Busan. After a survey was conducted from May 23 to June 15, 2011, the answer sheets from 217 respondents were analyzed. Results : 1. As for the general characteristics of the respondents, the men(52.1%) outnumbered the women. Those who were in their 60 and up(47.5%) made up the largest age group, and the married people(65.4%) outnumbered the unmarried ones. By occupation, the company employees(20.3%) made up the biggest group. By education, the greatest group was high-school graduates(36.1%). By monthly mean income, the biggest group gained an income of 2.01 million won or more(36.9%). As to medical security, community-based insurance was most prevailing (36.9%). In terms of health promotion, the largest group worked out to stay fit(52.4%). 2. Regarding oral health knowledge, they had a good knowledge about the cause of dental caries(56.7%), but they weren't well aware of the right time for regular dental checkup(47.9%). In relation to oral health care, regular scaling wasn't prevailing(16.9%). 3. Regarding connections between the general characteristics and satisfaction with prosthesis, the less-educated respondents expressed significantly more dissatisfaction(p=0.015). By monthly mean income, those who had a smaller income were dissatisfied in general(p=0.028). Conclusions : The findings of the study illustrated that it's required to spread awareness of the importance of oral health among people in general, and that differentiated incremental oral health care should be provided for different age groups. In order to raise the satisfaction of patients with prosthesis, how to relieve their pain and anxiety and how to adjust prosthetic treatment cost properly should carefully be considered. In addition, the government should take measures to offer assistance for the low-income classes in preparation for an increase in the elderly population.

주요 국가의 기업가정신 교육 현황 및 효과 연구: 2016년 글로벌 기업가정신 지수의 비교 (A Study on the Current State and Effect of Entrepreneurship Education in Major Countries: Comparison of the 2016 Global Entrepreneurship Index)

  • 본 연구는 국내 창업 환경 개선 및 바람직한 창업 인식 조성방안을 모색하기 위해 2016 글로벌 기업가정신 트렌드 보고서(GETR)의 데이터(20개국 40,354명)를 활용하여 주요 국가의 기업가정신 교육 현황 및 국가별(유형별) 창업 실태, 그리고 기업가정신과 창업 의지 및 기회형 창업의 관계를 분석하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 먼저 한국은 기업가정신교육의 확대가 시급한 것으로 분석되었다. 한국의 '초중고 기업가정신교육 경험'은 20개국 중 최하위수준(19위)이었으며, '대학' 및 '평생교육'은 중위권(15위)인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전세계적으로 기업가정신교육은 연령대를 불문하고 활성화되고 있음에도 불구하고, 국내 중고령자에 대한 기업가정신교육은 상대적으로 미약한 수준이었다. 이는 향후 평생교육 차원의 교육 확대가 요구되며, 재직자 및 은퇴예정자 대상 기업가정신 교육 개발 및 확대가 필요함을 시사한다. 둘째로, 한국인 개인의 창업의지는 3.8점으로 중하위권(15위)이었고, 기회형 창업수준은 최하위(20위)였다. 중국(4.55) 및 미국(4.01)과 비교할 때 한국인의 개인 창업의지는 상대적으로 낮은 것을 확인할 수 있었고, 기회형 창업 수준 또한 한국은 3.43점으로 중국(4.35), 일본(4.04), 미국(4.59)에 비해 매우 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 일반적으로 요소주도형${\rightarrow}$효율주도형${\rightarrow}$혁신주도형으로 전환될수록 기회형 창업의 비중은 높아지는데, 한국의 경우 비자발적 창업 및 소상공 중심의 창업 비중이 높아 기회형 창업 수준이 낮은 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 요소주도형, 효율주도형, 혁신주도형 모든 유형에서 기업가정신교육 참여에 따른 창업의지는 매우 높은 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 혁신주도형일수록 모든 기업가정신 교육(초중고, 대학, 평생교육) 참여여부에 따라 신규창업의지는 크게 증가하고 있음을 확인하였다. 혁신주도형인 한국의 경우 기업가정신교육의 양적 확대를 기반으로 질적 제고를 이룬다면, 지금의 중하위권(15위)에 머문 국민의 창업의지를 상승시킬 주요한 원동력이 될 것으로 예상된다.
