This study aims to establish new architectural agenda for the existing middle school facilities responding to individualized interactive learning approach(IILA). First, it investigates the mechanism of new teaching methods and contents proposed in the national level curriculum and the province guidances. Secondly, it suggests the Quality and Quantity of new (multi-purpose) classrooms that should be built for operating new curriculum in the existing middle schools. Finally, it finally emphasizes the educational specification that should be prepared prior to planning school buildings.

This study is an analysis study on the number and operation area of middle school mathematics curriculum. This study is a literature analysis study that analyzes the historical transition process of number and operation area, and suggests the restructuring direction of mathematics learning contents for numbers and operation areas based on the results. In order to achieve this research purpose, the contents of the number and operation areas suggested from the 1st middle school mathematics curriculum to the 2015 revised middle school mathematics curriculum were considered. In addition, in this study, analysis of the mathematical learning contents of number and operation area was conducted. The details of the study are as follows. First, it was decided as a tertiary mathematics curriculum as a criterion for analysis. Second, a basic analysis framework was developed by subdividing the content of mathematics learning into content elements and terminology elements. Third, on the basis of the developed analysis framework, mathematics learning contents that are the core issues of number and operation area were extracted. Fourth, the extracted mathematics learning contents were compared with foreign curriculum. Finally, based on the analysis results, the direction of restructuring for the number and operation area of middle school was suggested. The results of this study are expected to be the basis for the development of a new curriculum.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the changes in contents of home management part in the home economics textbooks fur middle school from the 1st to the 7th curriculum period. The contents in the all of home economics textbooks published in every curriculum period are analyzed. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1. The part of home management is divided into seven specific areas including 'definition and process of home management', 'utilization of family resource and environment management', 'time management', 'household labor/work nanagement', 'family financial management', 'purchasing', and 'consumer protection'. 2. From the 6th curriculum period, the area of 'definition and process of home management' begun to be explained using system's approach and the area of 'household labor/work management' changed its' focus from household to self management. 3. The areas emphasized in the beginning of curriculum period were 'family financial management' and 'household labor/work management'. The 'consumer protection' ' and 'utilization of family resource and environment management' were the areas emphasized in the later curriculum period. 4. The contents of 'family financial management' area have changed very little, however, the contents of 'purchasing' area have changed a lot during the all curriculum periods. 5. The contents of illustrations, tables, pictures, and activities have changed according to changes of the contents of the textbooks.

English textbooks play essential roles in the whole English education context, the analytic study on English textbooks is very important in English education tasks. The purpose of this study is to analyze the expressive functions in the middle school English textbooks on the basis of the 6th national curriculum characteristics and the textbook analysis theories. The results of the expressive language function analysis are as follow: the teaching contents designed for the expressive language functions are not varied, but concentrated on the specific teaching types, and the teaching contents for the expressive language functions are not graded according to the students' development principles stated clearly in the 6th curriculum. The results of the English textbook analysis on the basis of the expressive language function analysis show that the 6th curriculum has some problems in itself and the middle school textbooks do not conform to the 6th curriculum principles. Therefore we need to improve the teaching contents for language functions by means of developing various types of teaching language functions.

A main contents of this is to abtain the result of investigation and analysis of facilities & using space of Variation Type's middle school in Japan. we choose the sample of Japan Middle school managing variation type. Because the Japan's exiting educational system is very similar with Korea's existing educational system. We have planning about investigation and analysis of facilitie's present condition & using space of middle school in Japan. And we have also planning to have a hearing and interview investigation to teachers and students. A aim of this study is to abtain a guide of variation type space-planning in Middle school. For the aim, it is necessary to understand Japan's Middle school facilities condition and compare with Korea and Japan. A main content of study is as follow. o A collection of data and thesis of Japan's variation type middle school. o A check of curriculum of Japan's middle school. o A current of Japan's variation type middle mchool. history of construction circumstances, using situation of variation type, merit and demerit.

This study compared and analyzed Korean, American, Singaporean, and Japanese middle school mathematics curriculum standards and the learning contents in statistics. Through a comparative analysis of the curriculums of these four countries, I found several overall features and differences between the curriculums. First, all four countries emphasized statistical education in a real-life context. Second, all four countries emphasized the use of technological tools. Third, there is a middle school grade in which only Korea does not deal with statistical domains. Fourth, the statistical areas of the United States, Singapore, and Japan focused on identifying trends or variability in data distribution. Fifth, I have found some contents that only Korea does not deal with. Based on this, the following recommendations were developed for the development of the next curriculum and new textbooks in Korea. First, the statistics curriculum should be changed from one that focuses on understanding statistical concepts to one that focuses on statistical activity that utilizes these concepts. Second, in terms of middle school statistical curriculum contents, the addition of interquartile range (IQR) and box plots as learning contents should be considered. IQR and box plots are simple and practical techniques for the comparison of multiple sets of data that can be easily learned and drawn by middle school level students and applied to real-life-related statistical data to expand statistical literacy. Through this study, it is suggested that IQR and box plots need to be included in the statistical curriculum of middle schools in Korea.

The 'Informatics' curriculum for middle school revised in 2007 will be applied since 2010 in school. However, it is difficult to utilize directly school setting because educational contents presented in the curriculum are very comprehensive. Therefore, we need to present specific standards and examples to guide teaching and learning and assessment activities in school setting and right comprehension about new revised curriculum. In this study, we developed the achievement and assessment standards for the 'Representation and Management of Information' unit of Informatics curriculum for middle school revised in 2007. And then, we presented sample questions base on achievement and assessment standards we developed. The levels of the achievement unit were set in the small unit level through the understanding and the analysis of the new curriculum. We described the achievement standards from student's viewpoint and the assessment standards divide into three level(high/middle/low).

The study is intended to analyze the tendency of the remodeling for the middle schools in Gyeonggi Province, with the potential challenges thereof, thereby determining the principle for the remodeling projects in the days to come. To that end, the analysis to identify the school facilities in a bid to accommodate the current curriculum was conducted, along with the case study on remodeling projects. The $7^{th}$ curriculum demands for a significant change in school facilities. The number of student in a class that has been on the decline, despite of steady increase in number of schools, and the population getting concentrated in Seoul and its suburbs have resulted in an increase in number of class. Consequently, more investment in the facility, rather than improving a substantial education environment, has been made. The study, thus, is aimed at identifying the facility of the middle school required by the $7^{th}$ curriculum, as well as implementing a fact-finding investigation into the remodeling works for middle schools in Gyeonggi Province so as to come up with the guideline for remodeling projects.
