스마트시티 개념을 이용한 중소도시재생계획에 대한 연구 - 2015 미국 스마트시티챌린지 공모전을 중심으로 - (Urban Regeneration Plan for Mid-sized Cities Deploying the Concept of Smart City - Focused on the US Smart City Challenge in 2015 -)

  • The concept of smart city is understood as an indispensable component of urban regeneration projects in small cities in terms of providing a better urban environment and efficient living systems with a limited budget. Recently, the Korean government revised the law that related to the construction of the smart city and started to implement the smart city concept not only to new-large urban development but also to small-existed regeneration projects. However, it is difficult for small and medium-sized cities that are suffering from the insufficient professional workforce; knowledge supports for high-tech and lack of professional networks to proceed smart city planning and project that containing regional characteristics. This paper aims to examine the effective way of urban regeneration for small and medium-sized cities through smart city planning and strategy. As an important case, this paper looks at the 'Smart City Challenge' competition that was hosted by the US Department of Transportation in 2015. It examines the background and operation process of the smart city challenge competition, and then analyses each city's strategy and characteristics of seven finalists. This paper highlights the several key lessons to Korean cities: 1) the importance of national government's support in financial and professional resources; 2) the cooperation with local governments and IT corporations which provides realistic and detailed technical solutions; 3) the holistic and integrated approach to urban regeneration starting from transportation issues; 4) the necessity of the government's clear visions and guidelines toward the smart city.

진주시 버스 이용객 통행에 따른 도시계획시설 서비스 권역 분석 (Analysis of Urban Planning Facility Service Area according to Bus Passenger Traffic in Jinju)

  • This study aims to investigate the gap in accessibility to urban planning facilities between living spheres in local small and medium-sized cities. In this study, OD data between administrative dongs of public transportation users was constructed to analyze the living shpere, and community analysis was conducted based on cohesion between data. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that a total of 10 clusters (mid-living areas) were formed, and the topographical difference between the 11 middle living areas established in the existing Jinju City Basic Plan and the single living areas were actively exchanged to form a community with other administrative dongs. Next, the analysis of the service area of urban planning facilities for mid-living areas was conducted based on the road network. As a result of analyzing the area accessible within 5, 10, and 15 minutes, educational facilities, public facilities, cultural facilities, tourism, and green facilities could be reached within 15 minutes in most mid-living areas. On the other hand, there were many areas where access to transportation facilities, medical facilities, and cultural facilities was difficult within 15 minutes. In particular, the accessibility of the outer living area and the central living area were different. To improve the quality of life of citizens, using urban planning facilities in Jinju-si and establishing related plans in urban basic plans, it is necessary to conduct a study on service areas through network analysis.

고차 서비스 접근성을 고려한 고속철도 연계형 생활권 구축에 관한 연구 -충청권, 영남권, 호남권, 강원권 비교를 중심으로- (Construction of High-Speed Railway Based Living Zone Considering High-order Service Accessibility: focused on comparison between Chungcheong, Yeongnam, Honam and Gangwon Region)

  • 인구감소가 심화되고 있는 상황에서 지방 중소도시의 쇠퇴가 사회적 문제로 대두하고 있다. 지방 중소도시의 인구감소는 수요에 기반한 생활 서비스 공급의 어려움을 증가시킬 것이다. 따라서 생활 서비스 접근성을 높이는 것은 향후 지방 중소도시 거주민의 삶의 질에 매우 중요하다. 이런 배경에서 본 연구의 목적은 고속철도를 통해 대도시의 고차 서비스를 이용할 수 있는 생활권을 도출하는 것이다. 이를 위하여, 설문조사를 통해 지방 중소도시 거주자의 고차 서비스 이용 행태를 조사하였으며, GIS 분석을 통하여 생활권과 취약지역 도출하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대부분의 지방 중소 도시민은 대도시에서 문화, 의료, 쇼핑, 교육 서비스를 이용한 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 고차 서비스 이용을 위한 대도시 방문에 소요되는 시간은 약 2시간, 희망시간은 약 50분으로 나타났다. 셋째, 접근성 개선 시 광역시의 고차 서비스를 이용의사가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 많은 지역이 고속철도를 통해 대도시의 서비스 이용이 가능한 생활권으로 도출되었다. 마지막으로 강원권 북부, 영남권의 북부지역, 충청남도의 서해안, 전라남도와 경상남도의 접경지역이 주요 취약지역으로 나타났다.

신축 아파트 거주자의 새집증후군 반응 및 의식 조사 - 청주시를 중심으로 - (Residents' Responses and Consciousness on Sick House Syndrome of Newly Built Apartments - Focusing on Cheongju -)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the present condition of sick house syndrome of newly built apartments a mid-sized city. The questionnaire survey was carried out from $19^{th}\;to\;22^{nd}$ of May 2004, with respondents consisting of 160 households living in two apartment complexes of Cheongju. Their residency periods after moving in were within $six{\sim}ten$ months. From the survey results of the respondents, sick house syndrome items revealed high percentages with the highest value of 49.3%. The respondents answered that they knew relatively well about sick house syndrome but they had no knowledge about 'bake-out'. The response percentages of sick house syndrome items in E complex, consisting of $106m^2$ (32 pyeong) size units, were significantly higher than those in A complex, consisting of $76m^2$ (23 pyeong) size units. This result suggests that the pollution levels emitted from interior materials in larger sized apartment units are higher than those in small sized units. The response percentages of sick house syndrome items in houses with fulfilled ventilation which had been ventilated before or after moving in were lower than in houses not ventilated.

과학과 과학 교육에서 사용되는 모델에 관한 예비 초등 교사들의 인식 (Preservice Elementary Teachers' Perceptions on Models Used in Science and Science Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore preservice elementary teachers' perceptions on models used in science and science education. Participants were sixty-one undergraduate students who were enrolled in a science education course offered at a university of education located in a mid-sized city, Korea. Data were obtained from the participants at the beginning of the course when they provided their answers to a questionnaire about models. The analysis revealed that a large number of the preservice teachers perceived models as representative of physical realities. By contrast, a relatively small number of them viewed models as representations of ideas or things like theories or hypotheses. Lots of the participants were apt to define a model from the perspective of its functions and considered the purposes of models communication, teaching, and understanding as well as visualization, simplification, and clarification. Most of the preservice teachers believed that there could be multiple models for a single target, and all of them answered that models could be changed in science. It was therefore concluded that the preservice teachers perceived properly the multiplicity and variability of models. Nevertheless, they could not elaborate how a model is used and evaluated in the process of scientific inquiry, and just a few of them mentioned the detailed nature of models. The preservice teachers possessed teacher-centered views of using models in the science classroom, and a small number of them remarked that they were going to use models for students to develop their own models and perform scientific inquiry.

CASBEE 평가분석을 통한 일본 주요도시 집합주택의 성능 동향 및 국내 친환경 건축 인증기준과의 비교검토에 관한 연구 (Study of functional trend in japan's multi-family housing and comparison through nation's environmental certification standard, analyzed by CASBEE assessment result sheet)

  • On July 2004, the brand new CASBEE for construction (Brief version) has completed while trying to highlight and improve major items adequate for each region's characteristics in Japan; at the same time, from the start of NAGOYA CITY (operated since April 2004) to the point of May 2011, it has been mandatory for specified size buildings in 23 regions by law. Evaluation sheet of CASBEE is published on each region's home page and various genre of information on building evaluation which is scheduled to be completed by 2016 and is for 5-6 years of quantity is accumulated until October 2012. It is good study resource to verify how new buildings being evaluated are closely match with CASBEE's original purport (eco-friendly, energy efficiency, publicity etc). Particularly, for Japan's multi-family housing where small sized mid to high level single housing type is majority in city, it is an important point that improved performance on eco-friendly buildings have more value in city rather than suburb. Categorized score through evaluation is a resource to confirm the latest trend of multi-family housing built in congested city; on the other hand, demand of the time can be recognized by the score focused on category. It is meaningful resource to determine the adequacy of evaluated items and the degree of reality.

방사선사의 개인요인과 반응에 따른 지역별 스트레스원 수준 분석 (The Analysis of Regional Stressor Level on Personal Factor and Reaction According of Radiological Technologist)

  • The present study was conducted to analyze the causes of stress on the part of Korean radiological technologists depending on their working environments. For this purpose, 890 questionnaires were distributed to and collected from radiological technologists who were working at 44 general hospitals in 16 cities and provinces of Korea during the period from the mid July to the end of August 2003. The collected data were compared between regions, divided into the capital, metropolitan, medium and small cities, whose results are as follows: 1. As factors affecting working conditions, drinking was found to exert more influence on radiological technologists in small- and medium-sized cities, while loyalty to immediate seniors and organizations was the one producing greater influence on them in metropolitan cities than other cities. Overall, position, job satisfaction and physical condition seemed to have a great effect on them (p<0.001).2. In terms of factors related to their roles, job satisfaction and physical condition played in general a greater role for radiological technologists (p<0.001). Immediate seniors and behavioral conducts were also found to have a lot influence on them (p<0.01).3. As for job conflicts, the kind of medical institutions seemed to exercise a great deal of impact on radiological technologists (p<0.05), while colleagues, immediate seniors, job satisfaction and physical conditions also produced a lot of influence on them as a whole (p<0.001).4. Regarding job autonomy, radiological technologists were found to have been less influenced by position in metropolitan cities and by immediate seniors in the capital city (p<0.01). As a whole, however, age and job satisfaction acted as decisive factors of influence on them (p<0.001). 5. Among factors related to job burden, gender played a bigger role for radiological technologists in metropolitan cities as the kind of medical institutions did in small- and medium-sized cities. Centrally, job satisfaction and behavioral conducts exercised a great impact on them (p<0.001).6. Job stability seemed to be more immensely linked to gender and physical conditions in metropolitan cities whereas position did more in the capital city. In general, how ever, job satisfaction produced a far-reaching (p<0.001).

중국 동관 IT 산업 클러스터의 글로벌 생산 네트워크 및 커플링 전략 (Global Production Network and Coupling Strategy of IT Industrial Clusters in Dongguan, China)

  • 중국 경제성장에 핵심적 역할을 해왔던 광동성(廣東省) 동관시는 지리적으로 근접해 있는 홍콩을 이용하여 지속적인 경제발전을 추구해 왔다. 1980년대 초반은 홍콩으로부터 가전산업 관련 중소 다국적 기업이 동관지역에 진출하여 생산 공장을 세우고, 그 후 1990년 중반에는 대만의 PC제조업체의 진출이 잇따르면서 현재 동관에는 정보통신산업과 PC부품 및 전자산업 중심으로 지역 산업클러스터가 발전해 왔다. 동관시 산업클러스터 사례는 개혁개방 이후 중국 제조업 산업의 발전뿐만 아니라, 글로벌 시대에 해외직접투자와 아시아지역에서의 지역경제의 성장 및 산업발전과정의 연구에 대한 이론적 시사점을 줄 수 있는 지역적 사례 중의 하나다. 본 연구는 광동성 동관시 지역산업클러스터의 사례를 중심으로 이론적으로는 지역산업발전의 내생적 성장요인 분석(NMID) 혹은 글로벌 생산네트워크와의 외부적 연계성을 기초로 하는 산업의 지역적 분화(GPN)에 대한 이 두 관점을 상호 비교하고, 글로벌 융합전략을 설명하였다.

중국 산동성 쯔보시 주촌고상성 역사경관관리계획의 특성 (A Study on the Characteristics of Historical Landscape Management Plans for Zhoucun Ancient Mall in Zibo City, Shandong Province, China)

  • 최근 중국정부는 급속한 경제발전과 도시 확장 및 관광산업의 발달에 의해 역사 문화도시 훼손문제로 국가급의 유명한 역사 문화도시뿐만 아니라 역사적 문화적 전통성을 가지고 있는 중소도시의 역사경관을 꾸준히 보호하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 1980년대부터 역사문화자원으로서의 보호정책을 마련하고 지속적으로 역사경관을 관리해온 중국 중소도시인 산둥성 쯔보시 저우춘구(山東省 淄博市 周村區)에 위치하는 성급문화재 주촌고상성(周村古商城)을 대상지로 선정하여 이 도시의 문화재보호 및 주변지역 역사경관 보호계획의 발전과정을 살펴보고 그 특성을 고찰하였다. 사실, 주촌고상성 역사문화자원으로서의 보호계획은 1980년대 초에 시작되었으나, 실행 가능한 계획은 2001년의 "주촌대가역사가구 보호계획"에서 수립되었으며, 이 계획을 통해 '주촌대가 역사가구(歷史街區)' 구역은 관광계획, 도시계획 등의 다양한 계획이 수립되면서 역사문화지구에 대한 보호계획이 구체화되었다. 또한 2008년의 "주촌대가고상성지구 규제성상세계획"에서는 보호구역의 블록면적을 확장시켰다. 그러나 이러한 계획은 보호구역면적을 블록단위로 편성하여 작은 구역마다 단독으로만 적용되도록 하여 확장된 보호구역이 통일성을 이루지 못하는 문제를 야기하였다. 그 후 2015년 "규제성편성계획"에서 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 보호면적을 넓혀 통일성 있는 역사경관 및 도시경관을 조성하도록 하였다. 연구 결과, 이 세 가지 계획의 변화는 주촌고상성의 역사경관을 보호하기 위하여 2차원적인 규제에서 3차원적인 공간 밀도 경관에 대한 규제로 변화하였고, 또한 주변 도시경관과의 조화를 위한 면적인 확대로 이어졌다. 쯔보시 주촌고상성의 역사경관 관리계획은 2001년 계획을 시작으로 기본계획을 수립 후 상세계획으로 체계적으로 변화해왔다. 즉, 2001년의 계획을 통해 보호구역과 주변 환경정비를 위한 완충구역이 설정되었으며, 2008년 규제성상세계획을 통해 구체적 도시관리계획으로 나아가면서 보호구역, 건설제어구역, 환경조정구역으로 명칭이 바뀌었다. 그 후 2015년에는 저우춘구 전체구역까지 보호 관리하는 확장된 계획으로 주촌고상성 역사경관을 포함한 주변지역 도시경관까지 관리하고자 하였음을 알 수 있었다.

일부지역 치위생과 학생의 진로관련 태도 및 취업의식 연구 (A Study on Career-Related Attitude and Awareness of Employment in Dental Hygiene Students from Some Regions)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the career-related awareness of dental hygiene students and their awareness of employment in an effort to shed light on the consciousness of dental hygiene students on career and employment. Methods : A survey was conducted on 340 selected dental hygiene students in several colleges of health located in an urban community, South Gyeongsang Province, from June 8 and 16, 2016. The collected data from 335 respondents were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 for Windows. Result : Where they hoped to find a job was analyzed, and they hoped to be hired in an large city due to the possibility of development and expectations for high pay, and the students who wanted to be employed in a small or mid-sized urban community cited personal connections as the reason(p<.001). As for conditions for getting a good job, the largest number of the students placed importance on skills, and the students who were in the higher academic years attached more importance to skills and money(p<.01). As for preferred workplace, dental hospital was the biggest group's favorite workplace, and the students who were in the higher academic years preferred to work in dental clinic or dental hospital(p<.05). Concerning the length of dental hygienist career, the greatest group thought it would be between 11 and 15 years(p<.05). Conclusion : The findings of the study might not be generalizable because students from a few colleges only were investigated, but the findings are expected to help improve the understanding of dental hygiene students on career and how to prepare for the job market and to provide colleges and educational institutions with information on career and ways of offering vocational guidance.
