마이크로 프로세서로 제어되는 PWM 인버터의 새로운 스위칭 방식 (New Switching Strategy of PWM Inverter Controlled by Microprocessor)

  • A new suboptimal PWM is proposed, intended particularly for the reduction of acoustic noise and harmonics of the output current in the inverter-fed induction motor drive system. This strategy is based of the Regular PWM and applied optimal techniqe. And it could solve a problem that computation time is very much when switching strategy is determined at the Optimal PWM. In case that the number of switching increases infinitely, this strategy could determine the switching pattern, and can realize Online, Real time of microprocessor. Also, this strategy is applied to 1(Hp), three phase induction motor, and compared with the other PWMs. From the results, the validity of this strategy could be verified.

  • This paper describes an electric vehicle DC-DC drive system capable of delivering motoring current and of generating braking current. The power transistor chopper Is adopted to operate a DC series motor. The transistor chopper adopted, a high chopping frequency and avoids additional inductance In series with the armature winding. The four-quadrant drive is applied to save the energy. The energy saving is critical in operating the Independent power source electric vehicle. Using software simulation, regeneration and braking characteristics are investigated. The microprocessor-based controller is used to operate the whole system.

  • As the necessity of increasing the midnight base load is extensively increased, electric power companies have to increase the demand of midnight electrical power by lowering the electrical charge rate at midnight. One of the most widely used midnight equipments is the heat Storage type's electrical boiler. A Single chip microprocessor controller for the heat-storage type's electrical boiler is developed. This controller call reduce the undesirable peak load at the begining of midnight (i.e.11 P.M.) time band by using backward load control method. Futhermore, this controller enables reservation of heat storge and the effective heating control the field test has been done by use the boiler for 66$m^2$ with the heater of 21KW quality.

  • In recent years, induction motor is applied for several industrial actuatung parts instead of direct current motor because of the robust construction, nonexpensive and maintenance-free actuator etc. and having capability of speed control according to development of power electrounics and microprocessor techniques. In the paper, a microprocessor-based digital control approach for spped control of induction motor system is presented by considering a simple modelling equation as the system expression equation of induction motor and using the self tuning control and torque effdforward control method. As the model equation of the induction motor system, we use a second order differential equation which is well known in the modeling equation is induced form the control theory stand point such tath we can describe usually the motor system connected by inverter, generator and load etc. The effectiveness of the control system composed by the above mentioned design concept is illustrated by the expermental result in the presence of step reference change and generator load variation.

  • This paper is concerned with the implementation of the active vibration suppression controller using analog circuit and microprocessor. The target active vibration controller is the positive position feedback(PPF) controller since it provides a simple algorithm suitable for both analog circuit and digital controllers. In this study, the analog PPF controller is realized using an operational amplifier and the digital PPF controller is realized using a low-cost micro-controller. The circuit diagrams are explained in detail. We then discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both methods from the view of practical implementation. Experimental results show that both implementation methods can be effectively used for the active vibration control but need to be chosen based on the mission objective.

  • This paper describes the development of a test-bed vehicle named TAUV which can be a tool to evaluate the performance of a new control algorithm, operating software and the characteristics of sensors for an AUV. The test-bed AUV is designed to operate at depth of ten meters. It is 19.5kg in air and neural buoyancy in water and the dimension is $535{\times}400{\times}102mm$. TAUV is equipped with a magnetic compass, a biazial inclinometer, a rate gyro, a pressure sensor and an altitude sonae for measuring the motion of the vehicle. Two horizoltal thursters and two elevators are installed in order to propel and control the AUV. This paper persents the control system of TAUV which is based on a 16 bit single-chip microprocessor, 80c196kc, and the software architecture for the operating system. Experimental results are included to verify the performance of the TAUV.

  • In this paper, a new mehtod of reducing harmonics that involved in input AC line currents or in output DC voltage of the converter system is presented. which is due mainly to the quipment of 2-3 switching taps on interphase reactor. In case that the 3 tap method is applicable to conventional 12 pulse converter, it could not bring to an effect of reducing harmonics under firing angle 15\ulcorner To solve these problems, 24 pulse or 36 pulse converter is controlled by microprocessor. The former is performed in 2 tap method when \ulcorneris less than 15\ulcorner the latter in 3 tap method when it is more then 15\ulcorner Therefore the originality of this paper liea in microprocessor based equipment of the 2-3 switching taps on interphase reactor. I applied this method to the 12 pulse converter, and proved validity of that theoretically and experimentally.

  • 본 논문에서는 마이크로프로세서의 데이터 처리부 시험을 위한 최적시험명령어 \ulcorner을 구하는 방법을 제시하였다. 기본 자료로는 user's manual로부터 얻을 수 있는 명령어 \ulcorner을 이용하였다. 최적시험명령어 선정 과정은 3단계로 설명된다: 1) 기능적으로 분리된 명령어에 대한 시험처리선도의 구성, 2) 필수선도, 제거선도 및 적임선도의 결정, 3) 최적시험명령어 \ulcorner의 확정 INTEL 8048인 경우, 최적의 시험명령어는 명령어 레퍼터리(96개의 명령어) 중 50개이다.

  • Permanent magnet brushless motor is widely used in industrial drive applications due to high efficiency, high power ratio, and easy maintenance. Position and speed sensors required in this dolor increase the drive cost, and reduce the application range. Some papers present the sensorless speed control using DSP with a high processing performance. However, DSP increases the cost, and makes the implementation difficult. This study has performed the sensorless speed control with a microprocessor system which can be easily accessed.

  • The thermoelectric device was applied to a car seat to control the hot temperature in the summer and cold temperature in the winter. The characteristics of the device used to a car seat were analyzed. The air conditioning structure was designed to regulate the hot side of the thermoelectric device. To control the temperature of the car seat, a robust control algorithm based on the sliding mode control was applied, and a controller using one-chip microprocessor was developed. The performance of the proposed controller through experiments was shown.
