Determinants of the Utilization of Micro-enterprise Support Services (소액창업 지원서비스 이용에 영향을 미치는 요인 분석)

  • This study was designed to analyze, by using a hierarchical logistic regression analysis method, how difficulties in business start-ups and personal characteristics independently determine the utilization of micro-enterprise support services. The services were categorized into eight areas: capital, technical service, psychological service, item feasibility and business plan, site selection and interior service, marketing, finance and accounting, employment service. This study found that difficulties in business start-ups were a significant factor in six areas. Personal characteristics were a significant factor in four areas, when difficulties in start-ups were controlled. Among the personal characteristics, higher possibility of service utilization was anticipated in people with start-ups experience than people without experience, and in women than men. This results point out that service strategies should be targeted for people with difficulties in order to improve the accessibility of micro-enterprises support services. The results also indicate that the strategies should be considered for people with no start-ups experience, low academic ability, and female entrepreneurs who are vulnerable.

  • Distribution channels are changing its industry paradigm from quantitative increase to qualitative improvement. In addition, it incorporates new characteristics and consumption tread of customers and the core value of service is developing focused around on online to offline (O2O) business model of omnichannel. In this respect, companies are integrating various distribution channels and in order to provide high content business service to customers, their interest in finding a new business strategy is increasing. Currently, most of the service being provided to customers are formed based on distribution structure centered around big companies and financial industry and the problems faced by small to medium and micro enterprises, which are expansion and improvement of channels, discovery of new distribution channels and finding O2O marketing strategy, can be said as very important task. Accordingly, this research purports to create added values which can serve as the driving force of growth of "creative economy" by improving distribution channels in which anyone who incorporates needs of smart consumers can enter into the smart commerce market and to further form sustainable win-win market that is strategic through business platforms for small to medium and micro enterprises therefrom.

The effect of Micro and Macro Country Image on Brand Evaluation -Focus on the effect of brand familiarity and openness- (국가이미지가 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -브랜드 친숙도와 개방성의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • This study verified the moderating effect of brand familiarity and openness in the relationship between micro and macro-national image in Chinese market and brand attitude. The research methods used in this study based on previous studies, a research model was established, related research hypotheses were set up, and Chinese consumers were selected as survey subjects to conduct surveys and data collection, and the suitability test and research hypothesis of the model were verified. As a result of this study, Micro and macro-national image had a positive effect on brand attitude, brand familiarity and openness had no moderating effect on micro-national image, and macro-national image had a moderating effect on macro-economic image. The results of this study provide implications for companies in Korea, the United States, and Japan, which have close relations with China in the Chinese market, to utilize various business strategies.

Effects of Fashion Company's Marketing Activities Using Micro-blogging Services on Chinese Consumer's Attitude toward Company and Purchase Intention

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of fashion companies' micro-blogging marketing activities on Chinese consumer attitudes and purchasing intentions. In this research, the technology acceptance model (TAM) was used as the research framework, and innovativeness, self-efficacy, and perceived enjoyment variables were included in the model. Through an online survey, 195 respondents participated in this study. The results were as follows: fashion innovation and self-efficacy have a significant positive effect on perceived usefulness, as well as ease of use. These two factors have a significant positive effect on perceived enjoyment. Furthermore, and most significantly, this perceived enjoyment has a significant effect on the consumer's attitude toward the company, and intention to purchase the fashion company's products.

  • The study examines the influence of the five pillars of inclusive financing on the empowerment of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and the influence of institutional conditions on the empowerment of MSMEs. This study uses primary and secondary data. The population of the study are MSMEs; the is a total of 930,620 MSMEs in Jakarta. Owners of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises is a good population to be measured because they are the main actors that know exactly the challenges and the obstacles in doing business addressing problems faced in inclusive financing, which is related to the purpose of the study. The research borrows from finance and entrepreneurial theories for model design. The results of the study show that all the variables are significant and positive in the efforts to finance MSMEs in Indonesia, which means that financial education plays an important role in the sustainability of financial inclusion. The financial theory, developed to explain financing at the company level, needs to be adapted to the entrepreneurial situation, so that it can explain the behavior of small businesses. This means that, with correct financial knowledge, financial inclusion plays an important role in the sustainability of MSMEs in Indonesia.

A Study on Work Development Direction of Cost Analysis through Cost Analysis of Micro Satellite (초소형위성 비용분석 사례연구를 통한 비용분석 업무발전 방향에 대한 고찰)

  • Purpose: It emphasizes the importance of cost analysis for weapons systems that require enormous develop- ment costs, analyzes the problems of cost analysis steps from a practical point of view, and presents the direction of business development in terms of cost analysis reliability, timeliness, and efficiency. Methods: It analyzes the R&D cost of Micro satellites with a complex cost structure and large scale according to engineering estimation procedures, derives major analysis step-by-step problems, and presents business development directions. Results: Problems with standards and assumptions, data collection, cost division structure, and cost estimation methods were derived through the micro satellite cost analysis process, and business development directions such as expanding common standards, standardizing basic data, standardizing cost division structures and cost items, and data asset were presented. Conclusion: In order to develop work in terms of cost analysis reliability, timeliness, and efficiency, it is important to prepare and standardize standards and rules for detailed tasks at each analysis stage, and through this, it is expected that high utilization value and systematic cost data will be assetized in the future.

  • In this paper, we propose a micro payment service based on Open API (Payment & Account Management API). To support a business model that enables operators to offer integrated billing, a payment and an account management API is crucial. This service is based on the architecture of Parlay X web services[1, 2]. We described the network architecture and the logic procedure for a micro payment service.

  • "Series A Crunch"problem has become worse off as funding gap between angel seed investment and traditional VC Series A investment is getting the larger due to big boom over early startup investment both in Korea and US. The strong needs for new concept of fund alternative such as bridge fund is outstanding to fill up the funding gap in the early stage of venture investment. This research is brought to define the concept of 'Series A Crunch' problem and to diagnose its causes, eventually, popping up 'the concept of Micro VC Fund' to come up with this problem in Korea. Also, this paper suggests the policy alternatives to introduce Mivro VC Fund and accommodate its successful performance.

Determinants of Micro-, Small- and Medium-Sized Enterprise Loans by Commercial Banks in Indonesia

  • This paper investigates, in a single equation framework, the effect of bank-specific and macroeconomic determinants on micro-, small- and medium-sized loans by commercial banks in Indonesia. This study uses a sample of 790 observations from 79 commercial banks in Indonesia over the years 2006-2015. This study uses two estimation methods for our panel regressions: static and dynamic generalized method of moments (GMM) panel estimator. In static relationships, the literature usually uses the least square methods on fixed effects (FE) or random effects (RE). I found evidence that all banks, bank profitability and size are positively and significantly related to micro-, small- and medium-sized loans, while the coefficients of liquidity are significantly positive in all specifications, except government banks which is significantly negative. The relationship between risk and credit growth is negative for non-government banks. All estimated equations show that the effect of the capital variable on lending banks to MSMEs is not important in government banks and non-government banks. Finally, macroeconomic variables, such as inflation and gross domestic product, clearly affect the lending of the banking sector particularly non-state banks. The findings have several policy implications to Indonesia government, regulatory authority and bank managers in order to improve bank profitability through bank lending.

Micro Enterprise Policy to Reduce Trade Conflict Due to SSM Enter Restriction : An Empirical Analysis on the Determinants of Micro Enterprise Organization (SSM 진출규제에 따른 국제통상마찰 완화를 위한 소상공인 정책방향 : 소상공인 조직화 결정요인 실증분석)

  • It is known that weak competitiveness of micro enterprises can be overcome when they are organized with enterprise associations, franchise systems, and joint affiliation. In this paper, we empirically analyze the determinants of organization of micro enterprises, and propose the policy implementations to enhance the competitiveness of micro enterprises as a measure to reduce trade conflict due to SSM entry restrictions. Logit estimation results based on survey data consisted of 467 samples, show that insufficient labor force and high material costs had negative effects on organization. The unexpected findings generally support the rationale that organization is not helpful to solve insufficient labor force and high material costs. However, the decrease in sales due to the economic recession and the decreasing number of customers due to customer transition to large enterprises had a more positive effect on organization than usually expected. There are differences in estimation results between two types of business(restaurants and retail). In case of the restaurant business, insufficient labor force, high material costs and a decreasing of number of customers are important factors for organization, while the sales decrease is a relatively important factor in the case of retail businesses.
