Electronic Records need to be appraised the authenticity as well as the value itself. There has been various kinds of discussion about how records to be appraised the value of themselves, but there's little argument about how electronic records to be appraised the authenticity of themselves. Therefore this article is modeling some specific authenticity appraisal methods and showing each stages those methods should or may be applied. At the Ingest stage, integrity verification right after records creation in the organization which produced the records, quality and integrity verification about the transferred in the organization which received the records and integrity check between SIP and AIP in the organization which received and preserved the records are essential. At the Preservation stage, integrity check between same AIPs stored in different medium separately and validation of records where or not damaged and recovery damaged records are needed. At the various Processing stages, suitability evaluation after changing the record's management control meta data and changing the record's classification, integrity check after records migration and periodical validation and integrity verification about DIPs are required. For those activities, the appraisal methods including integrity verification, content consistency check, suitability evaluation about record's meta data, feasibility check of unauthorized update and physical status validation should be applied to the electronic records management process.
Tumor hypoxia, a common feature occurring in nearly all human solid tumors is a major contributing factor for failures of anticancer therapies. Because ionizing radiation depends heavily on the presence of molecular oxygen to produce cytotoxic effect, the negative impact of tumor hypoxia had long been recognized. In this review, we will highlight some of the past attempts to overcome tumor hypoxia including hypoxic radiosensitizers and hypoxia-selective cytotoxin. Although they were (still are) a very clever idea, they lacked clinical efficacy largely because of 'reoxygenation' phenomenon occurring in the conventional low dose hyperfractionation radiotherapy prevented proper activation of these compounds. Recent meta-analysis and imaging studies do however indicate that there may be a significant clinical benefit in lowering the locoregional failures by using these compounds. Latest technological advancement in radiotherapy has allowed to deliver high doses of radiation conformally to the tumor volume. Although this technology has brought superb clinical responses for many types of cancer, recent modeling studies have predicted that tumor hypoxia is even more serious because 'reoxygenation' is low thereby leaving a large portion of hypoxic tumor cells behind. Wouldn't it be then reasonable to combine hypoxic radiosensitizers and/or hypoxia-selective cytotoxin with the latest radiotherapy? We will provide some preclinical and clinical evidence to support this idea hoping to revamp an enthusiasm for hypoxic radiosensitizers or hypoxia-selective cytotoxins as an adjunct therapy for radiotherapy.

Consequence-Based Engineering (CBE) is a new paradigm proposed by the Mid-America Earthquake Center (MAE) to guide evaluation and rehabilitation of building structures and networks in areas of low probability - high consequence earthquakes such as the central region of the U.S. The principal objective of CBE is to minimize consequences by prescribing appropriate intervention procedures for a broad range of structures and systems, in consultation with key decision makers. One possible intervention option for rehabilitating unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings, widely used for essential facilities in Mid-America, is passive energy dissipation (PED). After the CBE process is described, its application in the rehabilitation of vulnerable URM building construction in Mid-America is illustrated through the use of PED devices attached to flexible timber floor diaphragms. It is shown that PED's can be applied to URM buildings in situations where floor diaphragm flexibility can be controlled to reduce both out-of-plane and in-plane wall responses and damage. Reductions as high as 48% in roof displacement and acceleration can be achieved as demonstrated in studies reported below.

This paper presents an extensive experimental comparison of a variety of multi-label learning methods for the accurate prediction of subcellular localization of proteins which simultaneously exist at multiple subcellular locations. We compared several methods from three categories of multi-label classification algorithms: algorithm adaptation, problem transformation, and meta learning. Experimental results are analyzed using 12 multi-label evaluation measures to assess the behavior of the methods from a variety of view-points. We also use a new summarization measure to find the best performing method. Experimental results show that the best performing methods are power-set method pruning a infrequently occurring subsets of labels and classifier chains modeling relevant labels with an additional feature. futhermore, ensembles of many classifiers of these methods enhance the performance further. The recommendation from this study is that the correlation of subcellular locations is an effective clue for classification, this is because the subcellular locations of proteins performing certain biological function are not independent but correlated.
It is very important to understand system behaviors in collective pattern for each knowledge domain. However, there are structural limitations to represent collective behaviors because of the size of system components and the complexity of their interactions, causing the state explosion problem. Further composition with other systems is mostly impractical because of exponential growth of their size and complexity. This paper presents a practical method to model the collective behaviors, based on a new concept of domain engineering: behavior ontology. Firstly, the ontology defines each collective behavior of a system from active ontology. Secondly, the behaviors are formed in a quantifiably abstract lattice, called common regular expression. Thirdly, a lattice can be composed with other lattices based on quantifiably common elements. The method can be one of the most innovative approaches in representing system behaviors in collective pattern, as well as in minimization of system states to reduce system complexity. For implementation, a prototype tool, called PRISM, has been developed on ADOxx Meta-Modelling Platform.

This paper shows the design optimization of the paper feeding mechanism under dynamic behavior by using commercial codes of RecurDyn/MTT2D and RecurDyn/AutoDesign which are developed by functionBay, Inc. A virtual mockup for dynamics analysis of the paper feeding mechanism is build on RecurDyn/MTT2D and is simulated. Flexible paper is represented as a series of rigid bars connected by revolute joints and rotational spring dampers. Paper is fed by a contact and friction mechanism on rollers or guides. The slip of the paper and nip force of rollers are measured to estimate the system performance. After a simulation, these performances are automatically send to RecurDyn/AutoDesign which is a sequential approximate optimization tool based on the response surface modeling. RecurDyn/AutoDesign makes the approximate objective function and computes the optimized design points of the design variables and gives them to analysis tool. And then the simulation is repeated with the updated design variables. These processes are repeated until finding a tolerable design optimization. In this paper, a paper feeding mechanism is introduced and it is optimized with the proposed algorithms.

This study proposes the more improved mathematical model than conventional that for the 3-DOF Helicopter System in Quanser Inc., and checks the validity about the proposed model by performance comparison between the controller based on the conventional model and that based on the proposed model. Research process is next : First, analyze the dynamics for the 3-DOF helicopter system and establish the linear mathematical model. Second, check the eliminated nonlinear-elements in linearization process for establishing the linear mathematical model. And establish the improved mathematical model including the parameters corresponding to the eliminated nonlinear-elements. At that time, it is used for modeling that Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm the meta-heuristic global optimization method. Finally, design the controller based on the proposed model, and verify the validity of the proposed model by comparison about the experimental results between the designed controller and the controller based on the conventional model.

Background : In this paper patient outcomes research is going to be reviewed and described, to be compared with relevant studies, and to consider the application in Korea. Methods : We compiled and reviewed the articles and materials related to patient outcomes research especially by PORT(Patient Outcomes Research Team) and rearranged them for seeking the main point and comparing with relevant studies. Results : Patient outcomes research emphasizes patient outcomes as well as conventional clinical outcomes. It is prospective study observing effectiveness in real situation instead of efficacy in ideal condition. Patient outcomes research comprises of 6 fields ; literature review and meta-analysis, use of claims data, decision modeling, outcomes assessment, cost of care, dissemination of research findings. SAA(small-area variations analysis), appropriateness study and clinical practice guideline are connected with patient outcomes research. Conclusion : In view of the fact that current medical policy in Korea is shifting its focus from accessibility to the improvement in quality and cost containment, and is stressing patient-based research, patient outcomes research is one direction for which the medicine is accountable and assessable. Considering that the number of patient receiving medical treatment in Korea is higher than the West, patient outcomes research has competitive power as against the West.
AI speakers which are wireless speakers with smart features have released from many manufacturers and adopted by many customers. Though smart features including voice recognition, controlling connected devices and providing information are embedded in many mobile phones, AI speakers are sitting in home and has a role of the central en-tertainment and information provider. Many surveys have investigated the important factors to adopt AI speakers and influ-encing factors on satisfaction. Though most surveys on AI speakers are cross sectional, we can track customer attitude toward AI speakers longitudinally by analyzing customer reviews on AI speakers. However, there is not much research on the change of customer attitude toward AI speaker. Therefore, in this study, we try to grasp how the attitude of AI speaker changes with time by applying text mining-based analysis. We collected the customer reviews on Amazon Echo which has the highest share of AI speakers in the global market from Amazon.com. Since Amazon Echo already have two generations, we can analyze the characteristics of reviews and compare the attitude ac-cording to the adoption time. We identified all sub topics of customer reviews and specified the topics for smart features. And we analyzed how the share of topics varied with time and analyzed diverse meta data for comparisons. The proportions of the topics for general satisfaction and satisfaction on music were increasing while the proportions of the topics for music quality, speakers and wireless speakers were decreasing over time. Though the proportions of topics for smart fea-tures were similar according to time, the share of the topics in positive reviews and importance metrics were reduced in the 2nd generation of Amazon Echo. Even though smart features were mentioned similarly in the reviews, the influential effect on satisfac-tion were reduced over time and especially in the 2nd generation of Amazon Echo.
This study analyzed the research trends of college students' entrepreneurship in 172 scholarly articles in the registered journals of the Korea Research Foundation from 2010 to 2018. The results of this study are as follows: First, the research areas and topics on university students' entrepreneurship focuses on not only characteristics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneur but also entrepreneurship education. Also, the research method was dependent on the quantitative research method coupled with the statistic techniques such as descriptive statistics, correlation, t-test, ANOVA, regression analysis, and structural equation modeling. In future research, it is necessary to expand research areas to startup idea design, startup business environment and policies. Also, it is necessary to explore various variables related to entrepreneurship, not focusing on specific variables such as entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education as well as to analyze meta analysis of the relationship between the variables influencing on the entrepreneurial intention. In addition, qualitative research and mixed research are needed to explore the process of developing entrepreneurship and the factors affecting the process of entrepreneurship.
