In this study, a mobile web application was developed as a tool for systematic job stress measurement and management of officers and verified through quality evaluation. Requirement analysis was performed by ship officers and staff in charge of human resources of shipping companies, and the results were reflected in the application configuration step. The application was designed according to the waterfall model, which is a traditional software development method, and functions were implemented using JSP and Spring Framework. Performance evaluation on the user interface, confirmed that proper input and output results were implemented, and the respondent results and the database were configured in the administrator interface. The results of evaluation questionnaires for quality evaluation of the interface based on ISO/IEC 9126-2 metric were significant 4.60 for the user interface and 4.65 for the administrator interface in a 5-point scale. In the future, it is necessary to conduct follow-up research on the development of data analysis system through utilization of the collected big-data sets.

  • Objectives : This study was designed to investigate the effect of sleep quality on depression symptoms and the mediating effect of interpretation bias and anxiety symptoms in psychiatric patients. Methods : Data accumulated for outpatients and inpatients in the Department of Mental Health Medicine at Hanyang University Guri Hospital were used. The measurement tools were Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Ambiguous/Unambiguous Situations Diary-Extended Version (AUSD-EX), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II). Correlation analysis and bootstrapping analysis were conducted using SPSS 25.0 and SPSS Macro based on 162 patient data. Results : As a result of the study, the double mediating effect of interpretation bias for Ambiguity and anxiety symptoms was significant in the relationship between sleep quality and depression symptoms. Conclusions : In this study, it was confirmed that low sleep quality sequentially affects anxiety and depression symptoms through interpretation bias for ambiguity. Based on this, it is expected that the development of other psychiatric symptoms can be prevented by preferentially performing therapeutic intervention on preceding symptoms.

  • Objectives : This study intends to assess the associations among perceived stigma at the time of infection, coping strategies adopted 12 months later and depressive and posttraumatic symptoms 24 months later in Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) survivors. Methods : A nationwide cohort study was conducted on 63 survivors of 2015 MERS outbreak. Demographic data, illness severity of MERS, depression and posttraumatic stress symptoms, coping strategies and MERS-related stigma were collected 12 and 24 months after the MERS outbreak, respectively. Results : Higher levels of perceived stigma at the time of outbreak were associated with higher levels of dysfunctional coping strategies after 12 months (p=0.003) and more severe depressive (p=0.058) and posttraumatic stress symptoms (p=0.011) after 24 months. Moreover, higher levels of dysfunctional coping strategies after 12 months were significantly associated with more severe depressive (p=0.002) and posttraumatic stress symptoms (p<0.001) after 24 months. Conclusions : Social stigma against people who have contracted an emerging infectious disease can leave a negative impact on the mental health of the survivors in the long term. In case of novel pandemics in the future, prompt rectification of stigma and promotion of adaptive coping strategies in survivors are needed.

  • This paper tried to investigate the moderating effect of chemyon sensitivity and usage situation in the relationship between self-presentation and brand preference. Data were collected from students of universities located in Chungnam. The analysis results can be summarized as follows. First of all, the effect of self-presentation on symbolic brand preference was not significant in both public and private use situations. On the other hand, the effect of self-presentation on functional brand preference was found to be significant in both situations. Second, the main effect of chemyon sensitivity was significant only when it had a negative effect on functional brand preference in public situations, but was not significant in other cases. Third, looking at the interaction effect of self-presentation and chemyon sensitivity, the brand preference did not show significant changes in those with relatively low chemyon sensitivity, regardless of the level of self-presentation, whether in public or private situations. This study is meaningful in that it reveals that chemyon sensitivity affects brand preference through interaction with self-presentation, whether the consumption situation is public or private.

  • This study investigated the differences in emotional labor, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment by job type, and the effect of emotional labor on job satisfaction and organizational commitment for public library employees. Using SPSS 27.0, the survey contents were performed frequency analysis, factor analysis, validity analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that the librarianship experienced more emotional labor than non-librarians, and the frequency of emotional labor increased depending on whether or not the civil service was included, and had a negative effect on overall job satisfaction and job condition satisfaction. However, in the case of psychological response to job satisfaction, library data work was found to be high. In terms of user service, emotional labor that occurs in librarians' work has two sides, which can have both positive and negative effects on the librarian's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Therefore, practical measures to reduce the frequency and emotional dissonance of emotional labor and increase the diversity of emotional labor should be included in the user response manual and future mental health promotion program development.

Also, the as outcome variable, levels of problematic gambling(KCPGI) showed significant differences across the latent profiles such as Problem gambling(M=11.393) on 'Lower MHS-BPNs', Moderate-risk gambling(M=4.277) on 'Middle MHS-BPNs' and Low-risk gambling (M=1.718) on 'Upper MHS-BPNs'. Overcoming the limitations of variable-centered analysis in the existing studies, this study providesreveals new insights onin the psychological characteristics of gamblers and how different latent profiles of gamblers may be in theirdistinct levels of problematic gambling. Finally, limitations of the study and future directions for research on gambling problems are discussed.

  • Objectives : From this study, we sight to identify Anti-stress effect of Chenwangbosim-Dan (Tianwangbuxin-Dan) Extract∘Fermented Rice Extract (GABA : gamma-aminobutyric acid 30%) Complex Methods : In order to measure the degree of functional evaluation of tension relief due to stress, it was evaluated whether the psychological indicators VAS(Visual Analog Scale) and POMS(Profile Of Mood State) were improved. Which is generally used for stress measurement and has a high frequency of clinical use. All clinical trial subjects were required to take the drug once a day at 9 ± 30 min in the morning for 2 weeks. Results : After intake, the group that Chenwangbosim-Dan(Tianwangbuxin-Dan) Extract∘Fermented Rice Extract (GABA : gamma-aminobutyric acid 30%) Complex had a statistically significant improvement effect compared to before intake due to an improved 30.81% of the VAS scores. The POMS-T score improved 54.13%, the POMS-V score improved 117.5% and the POMS-F score improved 59%, which had a statistically significant effect compared to Placebo group (p<0.001). There is a significant difference between two group, so even considering the placebo effect, the anti stress effect was confirmed in the Chenwangbosim-Dan (Tianwangbuxin-Dan) Extract∘Fermented Rice Extract (GABA : gamma-aminobutyric acid 30%) Complex intake group. Conclusions : The above results showed that the Chenwangbosim-Dan(Tianwangbuxin-Dan) Extract∘Fermented Rice Extract (GABA : gamma-aminobutyric acid 30%) Complex had an anti-stress effect.
