Membership Management based on a Hierarchical Ring for Large Grid Environments

  • Grid environments provide the mechanism to share heterogeneous resources among nodes. Because of the similarity between grid environments and P2P networks, the structures of P2P networks can be adapted to enhance scalability and efficiency in deployment and to search for services. In this paper, we present a membership management based on a hierarchical ring which constructs P2P-like Grid environments. The proposed approach uses only a limited number of connections, reducing communication cost. Also, it only keeps local information for membership, which leads to a further reduction in management cost. This paper analyzes the performance of the approach by simulation and compares it with other approaches.

  • From early 1999 years, the mobile telecommunication companies have introduced the mobile telecommunication membership program to attract more customers. However, the severe competition in the mobile telecommunication market has made the mobile telecommunication membership program to be faced with the matured mobile telecommunication market and the mobile number portability. Wain focus of this study is to find what are the core elements of service qualify of the mobile telecommunication membership program. To achieve research objective, we conceptualized the service quality of mobile telecommunication membership program. We also derived hypotheses regarding the relationships between service quality of the program, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty and examined it by using the empirical research methodology. We suggest new marketing strategies of the mobile telecommunication membership program which can be applied to improve the corporate competitiveness.

Fuzzy 계확법의 해법일반화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Extension of Fuzzy Programming Solution Method)

  • In this study, the fuzzy programming is extended to handle various types of membership functions by transformation of the complicated fuzzy programming problems into the equivalent crisp linear programming problems with single objective. It is well-known that the fuzzy programming problem with linear membership functions (i.e., ramp type) can be easily transformed into a linear programming problem by introducing one dummy variable to minimize the worst unwanted deviation. However, until recently not many researches have been done to handle various general types of complicated linear membership functions which might be more realistic than ramp-or triangular-type functions. In order to handle these complicated membership functions, the goal dividing concept, which is based on the fuzzy set operation (i. e., intersection and union operations), has been prepared. The linear model obtained using the goal dividing concept is more efficient and single than the previous models [4, 8]. In addition, this result can be easily applied to any nonlinear membership functions by piecewise approximation since the membership function is continuous and monotone increasing or decreasing.

My model describes how the number and variety of multiple team memberships drive different mechanisms, yielding distinct effects.

미술관 개인 후원자 개발을 위한 멤버십 연구 (A Study on Membership for the Development of Individual Supporters in Art Museums)

  • 오늘날 미술관의 지속가능한 재원 확보와 핵심 지지자를 확대하는 차원에서 개인 후원 개발에 대한 필요성이 높아지고 있다. 본 논문은 멤버십을 미술관 개인 후원자 개발을 위한 첫 단계로 보고 개인 후원자 개발을 위한 멤버십 운영의 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 멤버십 운영으로 단기간에 실질적인 수익을 창출하는 것은 쉽지 않으나 미술관은 멤버십을 통한 개인 후원자 개발을 통해 미술관의 미션과 활동에 공감하고 참여하는 지지층을 확보할 수 있다. 1990년대 이후 '새로운 박애주의' 흐름으로 나타나는 후원의 새로운 경향들은 개인 후원자의 요구와 동기가 변화하고 있음을 말해주며, 이는 미술관의 멤버십 개발 및 운영 방향에 시사하는 바가 크다. 이 논문에서는 미술관 멤버십과 개인후원자에 대한 이론적 검토와 사례 연구를 통해 멤버십을 통한 개인 후원자 개발 역할과 방법, 방향을 모색하였다. 멤버십 운영과 개인 후원의 오랜 역사를 가지고 새로운 시도를 지속하며 멤버십 프로그램을 고도화해 온 미국의 클리블랜드 미술관, 시카고 미술관, 뉴욕 현대미술관 멤버십의 사례를 새로운 박애주의적 속성인 참여와 관여, 책무성과 투명성에 초점을 두고 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 국내 미술관을 위한 시사점과 제언을 도출하였다. 미술관 개인 후원 및 멤버십 제도 운영과 이에 대한 학술적 연구가 미흡한 상황에서 본 논문은 개인 후원자 개발을 위한 멤버십의 방향성과 실행 조건을 모색한 의의가 있다.

모호한 목표를 가진 대화형 퍼지 다목적 의사결정 (Interactive Fuzzy Multiobjective Decision-Making with Imprecise Goals)

  • MODM (multiobjective decision-making) problem is very complex system for the analyst. The problem is more complex if the goals of each of the objective functions are expressed imprecisely. It requires suitable MODM method to deal with imprecisions. Therefore, we present a new interactive fuzzy decision making method for solving multiobjective nonlinear programming problems by assuming that the decision maker (DM) has imprecise goals that assume fuzzy linguistic variable for each of the objective functions. The imprecise goals of the DM are quantified by eliciting corresponding membership functions through the interactive with the DM out of six membership functions. After determining membership functions, in order to generate the compromise or satisficing solution which is .lambda.-pareto optimal, .lambda.-max problem is solved. The higher degree of membership is chosen to satisfy imprecise goals of all objective functions by combining the membership functions. Then, the values are the compromise or satisficing solution. On the basis of the proposed method, and interactive computer programming is written to implement man-machine interactive procedures. Our programming is a revised version of sequential unconstrained minimization technique. Finally, a numerical example illustrates various aspects of the results developed in this paper.

  • 4차 산업혁명으로 대변되는 기술과 산업의 패러다임 변화에 따라 기업의 R&D가 미래 성장 동력원의 핵심 역량으로 진화하고 있다. 이에, 기술전략수립 체계의 효과적 운영을 위한 기술경영에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 관련분야를 중심으로 유기적 관계 형성의 중요성 또한 증가하고 있다. 이러한 유기적 관계형성을 통한 기업과 대학간 상생을 위하여 대학에서는 가족회사제도를 운영하고 있으며, 이를 통해 기업과 대학간 인적 물적 자원을 체계적으로 공유하는 맞춤형 산 학협력체제를 구축하고 있다. 특히, 기술경영분야는 기업의 가치지향적 기술전략 수립을 위해 가족회사제도의 효과적이고 효율적인 운영이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 부경대학교 기술경영전문대학원에서 운영중인 가족회사제도의 운영현황을 분석한다. 그리고, 동남권 기업들의 기술경영 혁신 역량 확보를 위한 가족회사제도 활성화 방안을 제시한다.

Group Decision Making Using Intuitionistic Hesitant Fuzzy Sets

  • Dealing with uncertainty is always a challenging problem. Intuitionistic fuzzy sets was presented to manage situations in which experts have some membership and non-membership value to assess an alternative. Hesitant fuzzy sets was used to handle such situations in which experts hesitate between several possible membership values to assess an alternative. In this paper, the concept of intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set is introduced to provide computational basis to manage the situations in which experts assess an alternative in possible membership values and non-membership values. Distance measure is defined between any two intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy elements. Fuzzy technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution is developed for intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy set to solve multi-criteria decision making problem in group decision environment. An example is given to illustrate this technique.
