The purpose of this study is to explore the mediation effects of deficiency on executive function for male adolescents' game addiction and aggression. For this study, 120 male high school students in Chungnam areas were included in the analysis. The results showed that game addiction showed significant correlations with both deficiency on executive function and aggression. Adolescents addicted to games tended to exhibit higher aggression and more deficiency on executive function than adolescents without game addiction. Deficiency on executive function (mediator) partially mediated the influence of the adolescents' game addiction (independent variable) on aggression (dependent variable). Based on these results, it was suggested that self-instructional training would be helpful for game-addicted adolescents to enhance self-control. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for future research were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to find the mediation effect of school adjustment between perceived parental attitude and mental health in adolescents. 544 adolescents who live in Chungbuk filled out questionnaires. Data were analyzed by regression analysis with SPSS 18.0 version. Results showed significant relationships between socio-economic variables and main variables. Female showed higher depression and suicidal ideation than male. Higher performance group perceived parental attitude more positively, showed lower level of depression and suicidal ideation, and higher level of school adjustment than lower performance group. In addition, perceived parental attitude was a predictor of adolescent' mental health. School adjustment proved to have the mediating effect on depression and suicidal ideation overall. The specific interventions are associated with the increase of professionals and prevention program with parents, and the activation of school welfare.

This study examined differences in job stresses, depression and state anxiety levels relating to sociological characteristics of records managers and studying whether the mediating effect of state anxiety levels significantly occurs on the depression followed by their job stresses. So we distributed questionnaires of 9 factors including sociological characteristics to record managers, asking them job stresses, depression, and state anxiety levels, and collected 98 questionnaires finally. We analyzed the effect of mediation on the surveyed data using Regression Analysis. As a result, it was found that there is a full mediating effect of state anxiety level between job stress and depression, and that, therefore, state anxiety levels of the record managers must be managed to lower their depression levels.

This study tries to develop and testify the structural equation model(SEM) for customer satisfaction of information commons in digital library(NDL) of the National Library of Korea and to calculate library customer satisfaction index (LCSI) based both on customers' perceptions and the staff members' expectations. It also compares the customers' perceptions with the staff members' expectations about service quality, satisfaction, and loyalty. Full mediation model is better fit than partial mediation model for this study, and it is proved that this model can be used for both groups. This study calculate LCSI for the information commons as 75.69. The comparison the customers' perceptions with the staff members' expectations shows that all of the figures of the former are higher than those of the latter.

This study was intended to analyze the effects of Organizational Culture on manufacturing(automobile) employees' Organizational Trust and Organizational Commitment. A proposed model based on previous research was empirically tested via structural equation modeling by AMOS using 362 valid samples collected from current employees of G-automobile Enterprises in Chang Won. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Commitment. Second, Organizational Culture had a partially direct impact on Organizational Trust. Third, Organizational Trust had direct impact on Organizational Commitment. It has been confirmed that Organizational Trust has a partial mediation effect(full mediation effect) in the process of Organizational Culture and Organizational Commitment. This study showed similar results as other previous studies.

The purpose of this study is to propose an effective leadership in the hospital management by analyzing the relationship of the effect of the specialty hospital CEO's leadership on the employees' organizational effectiveness as well as the customer orientation, and the mediation effects of the organizational effectiveness on the relation between hospital CEO's leadership and the customer orientation. The questionnaires of the survey targeting the 99 specialty hospitals were collected that 786 copies of them were utilized in analysis. The major outcomes of the research can be summarized as follows. Firstly, transformational leadership of specialty hospital CEO generally has the greater impact on the employees' job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention than his transactional leadership. Secondly, the most important sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership affecting the organizational effectiveness of the employees are charisma of transformational leadership and contingent reward of transactional leadership. Thirdly, the sub-variable of specialty hospital CEO leadership which has the greatest impact on customer orientation of employees is the active management-by-exception of transactional leadership. Fourthly, the sub-variables in the organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction, organizational commitment and the turnover intention of hospital employees play mostly the partial mediation role between the customer orientation of employees and the leadership of a specialty hospital CEO. This means that the more the organizational effectiveness of specialty hospital employees improves, the more the customer orientation does. Thus, specialty hospital CEOs need to pay attention to the sub-variables in organizational effectiveness so as to improve the customer orientation of the employees. To explore further the nature of the effect of hospital leadership in the future, apart form the variables of the organization effectiveness used in this study to improve the customer orientation of employees through the leadership of the specialty hospital CEO, the research to identify other factors which have greater influence and explanatory power will be needed.

Objective : Previous studies have shown that depression, anxiety and embitterment are highly related to suicide. This study aims to investigate the mediating effect of embitterment between depression, anxiety and suicide. Methods : A total of 174 participants with depressive and anxiety disorders were evaluated with STAI-S, STAI-T, PHQ-9, PTED scale, SSI and suicide attempt history. A mediation analysis using bootstrapping was utilized in order to estimate the indirect effects of depression and anxiety on suicide through embitterment. Results : Embitterment significantly mediated the relationship between depression and suicidal ideation [b=0.291, 95% CI(0.18, 0.40)], and also it mediated the relationship between depression and suicide attempt [b=0.066, 95% CI(0.02, 0.16)]. Although a direct effect of anxiety on suicide attempt was not significant, but embitterment significantly mediated the relationship between anxiety and suicide attempt Conclusion : This suggests that embitterment may be a significant important factor to consider in the relationship between depression, anxiety and suicide. Understanding the mediating role of embitterment on suicide may helpful to prevent suicide.

This study examined the mediation effects of covert narcissism on the relationship between game addiction and aggression. For this study, 578 middle school boys in Chungcheong areas were included in the analysis. The results are as follows. First, correlation analyses showed that game addiction was positively correlated with covert narcissism and aggression. In addition, covert narcissism showed positive correlation with aggression. Second, step-wise regression analyses were conducted to examine the relative size that sub-factors of game addiction and covert narcissism explained aggression. It could be known that three factors of game addiction(tolerance, disregard of everyday life, damage of control) and two factors of covert narcissism(exploitation/self-centeredness, oversensitivity/vulnerability) showed significant explanatory power for aggression. Third, the Structural Equation Model was designed in which factors of game addiction and covert narcissism with significant explanatory power for aggression were included. Covert narcissism was found to partially mediate the influence of the boys' game addiction on aggression. Finally implications of this study and directions for future research were discussed.

This study was conducted to verify the mediation model of private self-consciousness on game addiction and aggression. Data from 439 boys were included in the analysis. The results are as follows. First, correlation analyses revealed that game addiction was positively correlated with aggression and private self-consciousness. Private self-consciousness was also positively correlated with aggression. Considering two factors of private self-consciousness, game addiction showed a significant positive correlation only with self-reflectiveness factor. Although two factors of private self-consciousness showed positive correlations with game addiction, regression analyses revealed that self-reflectiveness was the significant predictor of aggression. Second, the structural equation analyses showed that private self-consciousness, especially self-reflectiveness was found to partially mediate the influence of game addiction on aggression. Finally, limitations of this study and suggestions for further study were discussed.
