Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of self-efficacy between loneliness and life satisfaction among university students during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study administered a questionnaire survey of 282 college students enrolled in universities located in K area. Structural equation modeling analysis was utilized to examine the relationships of variables. The questionnaire included the life satisfaction, loneliness, and self-efficacy scales. Results: The results showed that loneliness had a negative correlation with life satisfaction and self-efficacy. Self-efficacy had a positive correlation with life satisfaction. The study confirmed that loneliness had a partial mediating effect on life satisfaction through self-efficacy. Conclusion: The study discussed ways of enhancing the life satisfaction of university students, the implications of the study findings, and suggestions for future research.

This article empirically examines the relationship between values, consumer innovativeness, online opinion leadership, and new product adoption behavior utilizing wearable technology as the overall unit of analysis. The authors analyze data collected from SNS users who possess one or more wearable devices using a structural equation modeling approach to examine the direct effects. Moreover, a bootstrapping approach is adopted to explore the indirect effects between the constructs. The results indicate that consumers who value stimulation and hedonism are more inclined to possess stronger consumer innovativeness. Consumer innovativeness also positively influences online opinion leadership, ultimately leading to the faster adoption of new products. The mediating effect of consumer innovativeness between the value stimulation and online opinion leadership is also confirmed. In addition, although consumer innovativeness has no direct effect on new product adoption behavior, it does have an indirect, mediating effect through online opinion leadership.

This study aimed to identify the factors that influence young entrepreneurs' desire to start a smart farm business. Young entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial intention, entrepreneurship, and Entrepreneurial opportunity recognition were modeled structurally, and the mediating effect of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition was investigated. Data were conducted from 159 usable questionnaires. The following are the findings of this study. Entrepreneurial self-efficacy did not have a significant effect on entrepreneurial intention, but entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition were found to have a mediating effect on entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, the preparation of training programs to encourage entrepreneurship or the dissemination of pertinent information to identify opportunities should take precedence over immediate startup.

This study aimed to determine whether the achievement motivation of adolescents from multicultural families in their third year of middle school influenced their adaptation to school learning activities. It also explored the mediating effect of career attitude on achievement motivation and adaptation to school learning activities. An analysis was performed on data obtained from students in the third grade of middle school who participated in the sixth wave of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS). The main findings were as follows. Firstly, achievement motivation exhibited a positive correlation with both career attitude and adaptation to school learning activities. Secondly, the achievement motivation of adolescents from multicultural families and their career attitude both exerted a positive effect on their adaptation to school learning activities. Thirdly, the mediating effect of career attitude on the relationship between adaptation to school learning activities and achievement motivation of adolescents from multicultural families was verified.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of organizational management competency according to the personality types of Project Management Office (PMO) leader on the Project Performance and to further verify the mediating effect of positive psychological capital. Research design, data and methodology: The collected data of this study was statistically checked using SPSS 25.0 program and AMOS 25.0, and the result analysis and hypothesis verification were conducted by applying demographic frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, model fit, reliability, validity, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling. Results: The personality types of the project Management Office (PMO) leader had an effect on positive psychological capital and positive psychological capital had a mediating effect between project performance. Conclusion: Since the essence of project Management Office (PMO) leadership for organizational management exists in a smooth mutual relationship between the leader and the project members, it is necessary to expand the leadership education that strengthens the positive psychological capital and to manage the communication ability of the PMO leader continuously in terms of personnel management practice.

A empirical study about dual commitment of members of labor union for logistics companies based around the capital for their companies and union was carried out. This paper reviewed the effects of job security, organizational justice and social capital on dual commitment, and the mediating effect of social capital between job security and organizational justice, and dual commitment. Also, by establishing the social capital as a mediating variable, whether the effects of job security and organization justice to dual commitment exhibit mediating effects was identified.

This study is a study to empirically verify the mediating effect on college life adaptation and career preparation behavior of college students. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the multi-mediated effects of major satisfaction, job stress, and self-directed learning. For this study, 216 university students were enrolled. For the collected data, SPSS Process macro was used. The result is as follows. First, there were multiple parallel mediating effects and multiple serial mediating effects on major satisfaction, job stress, and self-directed learning between college life adaptability and career preparation behavior. Second, the path of simple mediation and double mediation effect was found between college life adaptation and career preparation behavior. Based on the research, the necessity of revitalizing the program for revitalization of teaching activities and industry-academic cooperation activities in the major field and improvement of career preparation behavior and university life adaptation ability and follow-up research were suggested.

Firefighters are exposed to extreme stress and risk owing to the nature of their work. This can lead to psychological burnout, and work overload can result in lethargy and depression. This study aims to analyze the mediating effect of depression on the impact of heavy workloads on psychological exhaustion among firefighters. We conducted a survey among firefighters in various regions of Korea to analyze the levels of work overload, depression, and psychological burnout. The analysis yielded the following results. First, work overload, depression, and psychological exhaustion showed positive correlations. Second, the mediating effect of depression on the relationship between work overload and psychological exhaustion was verified. This study confirms the necessity of the systematic management of psychological exhaustion by addressing the mediating role of depression in the context of heavy workloads. This study is expected to serve as foundational data for policy measures aimed at reducing the burden on firefighters, and maintaining their mental health.

본 연구는 본 연구는 최근 학력 인구의 감소로 인한 대학의 어려움을 타계하기 위한 여러 방안 중에서도 전공만족도에 초점을 맞추어 전공만족도를 높이기 위한 방법을 모색하고자 하였다. 특히 4차 산업혁명 시대에 반드시 필요로 하는 문제해결능력과 디지털 리터러시를 영향 요인과 매개요인으로 설정하고 이를 검증해 보고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문제해결능력이 전공만족도에 미치는 영향과 디지털 리터러시의 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 전문대학 비서학 전공생들을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 총 193개의 설문을 분석대상으로 하였으며, 가설의 검증을 위해서 회귀분석을, 매개효과 유의성을 검증을 위해 SPSS PROCESS macro model 4를 사용하여 부트스트래핑(bootstrapping)을 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문제해결능력은 전공만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 문제해결능력은 디지털 리터러시에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 문제해결능력과 전공만족도의 관계에서 디지털 리터러시의 매개효과를 분석해본 결과, 디지털 리터러시 4개 하위요인 중 정보활용능력, 비판적 이해능력, 정보분석능력은 문제해결능력과 전공만족도 사이에서 완전 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 규범준수능력은 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 전공만족도에 문제해결능력이 영향을 미치고 있음을 검증하였는데, 문제해결능력을 배양하기 위한 다양한 노력을 기울일 필요가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 전공만족도를 높이기 위한 실질적인 방안을 마련할 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다.
