차량용 유압변속장치의 동적 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the dynamic characteristics of a hydraulic power transmission)

  • 본 연구에서는 자동변속장치에 대한 기초 연구로서 자동화 대상인 Merrit-Wi- lson기어계를 가진 차량용 유압변속장치를 중심으로 엔진-변속장치-차량-주행부하의 복합시스템에 대한 동적모델링을 한후 동적성능 해석전용 전산프로그램팩키지를 개발 하여 변속중의 과도특성을 관찰하였다. 또한 수치해석 시뮬레이션을 통하여 각종 설 계변수 및 제어 변수의 영향을 파악하고 변속성능을 적정화하기 위한 기초자료를 도출 하였다.

연결재료에 따른 철도차량 바닥구조의 진동전달 (Vibration Transmission of Railway Floor Structure due to Connecting Materials)

  • The sources of the vibration of railway vehicles in the cabin are usually bogie, axle, and wheel. The vibrations are transmitted through the floor structures of railway vehicle. The floor structure is the combination of bottom plate, plywood, and rubber. In this research the vibration transmission is measured experimentally and analyzed numerically to find the transmission characteristics of the vehicle floor structures. The result shows that the vibration characteristic of soft rubber is better than hard rubber or wood as the connecting material between the bottom plate and the plywood.

소음기 구성요소의 소음 및 배압특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transmission Loss and Back Pressure of Muffler Elements)

  • The exhaust muffler is designed to reduce the engine noise with the minimum back pressure. It is composed of several elements, and we chose the five types of muffler elements : expansion, extended, offset, reversal, and perforated type. These elements are modeled with I-DEAS, and the transmission loss is analyzed with SYSNOISE, and the back pressure with STAR-CD. We verified the numerical results of transmission loss and pressure loss by experiments for the case of extended muffler. We find a database with the numerical results, which can be used in the design of exhaust muffler in the field.

Force Transmission Analyses with Dimensionally Homogeneous Jacobian Matrices for Parallel Manipulators

  • To avoid the unit inconsistency problem in the conventional Jacobian matrix, new formulation of a dimensionally homogeneous inverse Jacobian matrix for parallel manipulators with a planar mobile platform by using three end-effector points was presented (Kim and Ryu, 2003). This paper presents force relationships between joint forces and Cartesian forces at the three End-Effector points. The derived force relationships can then be used for analyses of the input/output force transmission. These analyses, forward and inverse force transmission analyses, depend on the singular values of the derived unit consistent Jacobian matrix. Using the proposed force relationship, a numerical example is presented for actuator size design of a 3-RRR planar parallel manipulator.

  • This paper represents a study on the conceptual design of new automatic bicycle transmission. The gear change in a commercial bicycle is carried out by moving the chain between sprockets. By the use of a multiple sprocket for speed change the power loss and transmission shock may occur. To solve the problem of bicycle transmission, the improved solution was derived by the technical contradiction matrix of TRIZ. The conceptual solution is one sprocket which replaces the function of multiple sprockets and adapts actively to the pitch of chain. And it was confirmed to be an adequate design through the Independence Axiom of design axiom.

스파이럴 베벨기어의 전동오차 해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Transmission Errors of Spiral Bevel Gears)

  • The most important criteria of quality of meshing and contact of gears are the low level of noise and the sufficient dimensions and location of the contact. A new approach for determination of machine-tool settings for spiral bevel gears is proposed. The proposed settings provide a function of transmission errors, the desired location and orientation of contact. The function is able to absorb piece-wise linear functions of transmission errors that are caused by the gear misalignment and to reduce the gear noise. The determination of pinion machine-tool settings is based on the local synthesis of gears. A computer program for simulation of meshing bearing contact and determination of transmission errors for misaligned has been developed.

폴리머 마이크로 장치에 대한 레이저 투과 마이크로 접합 (Analysis of Transmission Infrared Laser Bonding for Polymer Micro Devices)

  • A precise bonding technique, transmission laser bonding using energy transfer, for polymer micro devices is presented. The irradiated IR laser beam passes through the transparent part and absorbed on the opaque part. The absorbed energy is converted into heat and bonding takes place. In order to optimize the bonding quality, the temperature profile on the interface must be obtained. Using optical measurements of the both plates, the absorbed energy can be calculated. At the wavelength of 1100nm $87.5\%$ of incident laser energy was used for bonding process from the calculation. A heat transfer model was applied for obtaining the transient temperature profile. It was found that with the power of 29.5 mW, the interface begins to melt and bond each other in 3 sec and it is in a good agreement with experiment results. The transmission IR laser bonding has a potential in the local precise bonding in MEMS or Lab-on-a-chip applications.

자동차 트랜스미션용 헬리컬 기어의 최적 설계 프로그램 개발 (Development of a Optimal Design Program for the Helical Gear on Vehicle Transmission)

  • Recently the gear design focuses on the optimal design to extract the design factors from the vehicle transmission that is required to equip the powerful, speedy and silent characteristics. In this study, we had determined modules($m_n$) and face widths (b) to sustain strengths of contact and bending. The pressure angle ($\alpha$) and the helix angle ($\beta$) also had been obtained from the constraint of a contact ratio ($\varepsilon) on helical gears. Through the optimal design algorithm suggested in this study, the design factors were calculated on vehicle transmission gears and those determined factors were able to firm a suitability of the design.

Energy-Efficient Cooperative Beamforming based CMISO Transmission with Optimal Nodes Deployment in Wireless Sensor Networks

  • This paper analyzes the nodes deployment optimization problem in energy constrained wireless sensor networks, which multi-hop cooperative beamforming (CB) based cooperative-multi-input-single-output (CMISO) transmission is adopted to reduce the energy consumption. Firstly, we establish the energy consumption models for multi-hop SISO, multi-hop DSTBC based CMISO, multi-hop CB based CMISO transmissions under random nodes deployment. Then, we minimize the energy consumption by searching the optimal nodes deployment for the three transmissions. Furthermore, numerical results present the optimal nodes deployment parameters for the three transmissions. Energy consumption of the three transmissions are compared under optimal nodes deployment, which shows that CB based CMISO transmission consumes less energy than SISO and DSTBC based CMISO transmissions. Meanwhile, under optimal nodes deployment, the superiorities of CB based CMISO transmission over SISO and DSTBC based CMISO transmissions can be more obvious when path-loss-factor becomes low.

  • In forklifts, the machine performance is largely depended on the transmission performance. The aim of this paper is to develop a complete model of transmission control valve (TMV) system of a typical forklift using AMESim simulation tool. By using the developed TMV model, it becomes easy to investigate the system concept, working principle, and performance. In addition, an optimization on the TMV structure can be achieved by using this model with tunable parameters. Simulations have been carried out in a comparison with the actual experiments to verify the model.
