탄소 나노튜브 함유 Solderable 이방성 도전성 접착제의 신뢰성 특성에 관한 연구 (Reliability Properties of Carbon Nanotube-filled Solderable Anisotropic Conductive Adhesives)

  • In this paper, two types of assemblies using CNT-filled SACAs (with 0.03 wt% CNTs and without CNT) were prepared to investigate the influence of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on the reliability properties of solderable anisotropic conductive adhesives (SACAs) with a low-melting-point alloy (LMPA). Two types of reliability test including thermal shock (TS: -55 to $125^{\circ}C$, 1000 cycles) and high-temperature and high-humidity (HTHH: $85^{\circ}C$, 85% RH, 1000 h) tests were conducted. The SACA assemblies with and without CNTs showed stable electrical reliability properties due to the formation of wide and stable metallurgical interconnection between corresponding metallizations by the molten LMPA fillers. Although the mechanical pull strength of CNT-filled SACA assemblies was decreased after thermal aging (because of the excessive layer growth and planarization of the IMCs), the CNT-filled SACA with 0.03wt% CNTs showed enhanced mechanical reliability properties compared with the SACA assemblies no CNTs. This enhancement in mechanical performance was due to the reinforcement effect of the CNTs. These results demonstrate that CNTs within the CNT-filled SACAs can improve the reliability properties of CNT-filled SACAs joints due to their superior physical properties.

PSN-PZT계 세라믹스를 이용한 고출력 압전 트랜스포머의 전기적 특성 (Electrical Characteristics of the High Power Piezoelectric transformer Using PSN-PZT system ceramics)

  • In this paper we investigated the structural dielectric and piezoelectric properties of 0.03Pb(Sb$\_$1/2//Nb$\_$1/2/)-0.97Pb(Zr$\_$0.495//Ti$\_$0.505/)O$_3$+0.5 wt% excess PbO + wt% MnO(X=0, 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7) ceramics to develop the high-power piezoelectric transformer. The piezoelectric transformers with dimension of 27.5$\times$27.5$\times$2.5[mm$^3$]were fabricated and their electrical properties were measured. Maxima of piezoelectric properties such as electro-mechanical coupling factor of 0.534 and mechanical quality factor of 1487 were obtained for the PSN-PZT with 0.3wt% MnO. voltage step-up ratios of piezoelectric transformers at 500[Ω]and no load were 0.78, 12.82, respectively. The maximum efficiency of piezoelectric transformer was 98.6% at 800[Ω]. While the 14W fluorescent lamp were driven by the piezoelectric transformer for more than 20[min], increment of temperature in the piezoelectric transformer was 7[$\^{C}$].

순 아르콘 캐리어 가스와 APCVD로 성장된 다결정 3C-SiC 박막의 기계적 특성 (Mechanical characteristics of polycrystalline 3C-SiC thin films using Ar carrier gas by APCVD)

  • This paper describes the mechanical characteristics of poly 3C-SiC thin films grown on Si wafers with thermal oxide. In this work, the poly 3C-SiC thin film was deposited by APCVD method using only Ar carrier gas and single precursor HMDS at $1100^{\circ}C$. The elastic modulus and hardness of poly 3C-SiC thin films were measured using nanoindentation. Also, the roughness of surface was investigated by AFM. The resulting values of elastic modulus E, hardness H and the roughness of the poly 3C-SiC film are 305 GPa, 26 GPa and 49.35 nm respectively. The mechanical properties of the grown poly 3C-SiC film are better than bulk Si wafers. Therefore, the poly 3C-SiC thin film is suitable for abrasion, high frequency and MEMS applications.

전기장 싸이클 수에 따른 MC성분 ER유체의 기계적성질 (Mechanical Properties for Methyl Cellulose(MC) Ingredient ER Fluids According to the Numbers of the Electrical Field Cycles)

  • 기존의 솔레노이드 밸브는 전자부품에 기계적 운동요소를 포함하여 비선형성을 내포하고 있으나, MC 성분의 ER유체를 이용하면, 유동체의 통과부분을 전기장 제어를 통하여 솔레노이드 밸브 기능을 대신할 수 있는 메카니즘을 구현할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. 유기성인 MC성분 ER유체를 유압시스템에 솔레노이드 밸브 역할에 적용하기 위해, 부과하는 직류 전기장의 사이클 수에 따른 기계적특성에 대한 평가는 다음과 같다. MC성분 ER유체의 전단속도비에 대한 전단응력 분포변화는 2.0kV/mm까지 전기장을 인가했을 경우, 횡축의 전단속도가 증가하여도 종축의 전단응력은 거의 변하지 않았다. 60만 사이클을 반복한 후 ITMC25의 전단응력 실험결과, 2.0kV/mm 이상 전기량을 인가하면 2차원적인 곡선의 형태를 형성하지만 표준편차의 평가치가 오차한계 이내이므로 직선으로 판단하여도 무리가 없을 것으로 사료되었다. 구리 전극으로 전기장을 부과한 경우 MC 성분의 ER유체는 0.1~$0.3{\mu}m$까지의 표면거칠기를 나타냈고, 알루미늄 전극을 사용한 경우는 전기장 부과 초기에 $0.3{\mu}m$의 표면거칠기가 $0.2{\mu}m$로 감소하였으나 40만 사이클의 전기장 부과 이후는 약간의 요철변화가 있었다.(이 논문의 결론 부분임)

  • The mechanical properties and surface luminous intensities of copper foil have been studied with variation of the amount of additives into the electrolyte. Especially, organic compound of HEC was added from 0.1 to 10ppm for the propose of increasing the mechanical property and the surface state. The total thickness of electrodeposited copper foil was decreased with increasing the amount of organic compounds. There was not so much significant effect of the current density. It has been observed that mechanical property and surface luminous intensity increase with increasing concentration of organic compounds.

  • Radiation degradation of Poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK) has been studied by dielectric analysis and dynamic mechanical analysis. It has been observed that dielectric properties are influenced by radiation degradation of PEEK. For radiation degradation of PEEK, dynamic mechanical properties were insensible.

  • Recently, research works for electrical properties on the elastic epoxy have been also progressing to diagnose insulation materials by development of measure technology. The epoxy which specially applied for high voltage instruments have required for the electrical, mechanical and thermal properties. Nanocomposites were made from insulating material epoxy resin using for power transformer as varying g amount of addition of SiO2, we found the change of physical characteristics of nanocomposites by using SEM and XRD. To investigate the electrical properties according to the amount of addition and temperature, tested insulting breakdown in silicon oil. As the result of insulting breakdown testing, the insulting breakdown strength increased according to change of the amount of addition.

  • Indium tin oxide (ITO) thin film was polished by chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) by the change of process parameters for the improvement of electrical and optical properties of ITO thin film. Light transparent efficiency of ITO thin film was improved after CMP process at the optimized process parameters compared to that before CMP process.

연속주조된 Cu-Ni-Si계 합금의 특성평가 (Characterization of Continuous Cast Cu-Ni-Si Alloys)

  • In this study, Cu-2.5at.%Ni-1at.%Si alloys were fabricated by horizontal continuous casting system to improve the electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of Cu-Ni-Si alloy. Withdrawing speed was changed with 50, 100, 150 and 200 mm/min for the optimum manufacturing condition. Microstructure was observed using OM, FE-SEM and TEM. Electrical conductivity was measured by 4-point probe method and mechanical properties were tested. A horizontal continuous cast thin slab had sound macro and micro structures with partly crystallized structures. Electrical resistivity decreased with increasing annealing temperature from 250 to $850^{\circ}C$, with increasing annealing temperature The maximum hardness and tensile strength were Hv 130, 610 MPa at $550^{\circ}C$, respectively. With changing withdrawing speed from 50 to 150 mm/min, hardness, tensile strength, yield strength and elongation were Hv 60-65, 210-230 MPa, 65-75 MPa and 40-50%, respectively.

  • In this study the electrical and mechanical characteristics of PET films ore analyzed after plasma surface treatment. After plasma treatment, the surface potential decay, surface potential and dielectric property were evaluated to analyze the electrical insulating property, and the tensile strength was measured as the mechanical characteristic. When plasma treatment was conducted for less than 10 minutes, it was found that the electrical insulating property was improved through evaporation of low molecular weight materials md cleaning of surface. However, for more than 10 minutes, the insulating property of plasma treated PET films was decreased due to excessive discharge energy. The tensile strength was hardly changed by Plasma treatment.
