Noncontact measuring methodology of 3-dimensional profile using CCD camera are very attractive because of it's high measuring speed and its's high sensitivity. Especially when projecting a grid pattern over the object, the captured image have 3 dimensional information of the object. Projection moire extract 3-D information with another grid pattern in front of CCD camera. However phase measuring profilometry(PMP) obtain similar results without additional grid pattern. In this paper, the projection moire are compared with the PMP mathematically, and it is shown that PMP can generate moire image with simple mathematical computations. Experimental works are also carried out showing the same results. It is shown that using a single gird pattern, moire image can be obtained directly without any mathematical operation when some conditions are satisfied.

Estimating the productivity of labor has relied on the experience and intuition of an estimator, or productivity data, such as standard in practical estimation. However, when new technologies and new construction methods employed in the construction industry, Dependence of a quantity surveyor's intuition is increased. This is because of the lack of a systematic methodology which models, estimates, and measures the labor productivity, Due to the historical productivity data is unavailable. Even thought project history data contains information that is important to predict the performance of a project, It can not provide valuable information to model, estimate, and measure the labor productivity. This is because 1) the absence of the productivity measurement system with consistency, 2) the difficulty of reusability of historical data collected. Therefor, this study suggests a methodology which build a productivity model by measuring the productivity of labor and collecting the historical data systematically. In addition, this methology is applied to develop a productivity model of shop-drawing and manufacturing process using descrete event simulation.
This paper is presented to prepare NGN quality assurance management process under the quality system test methodology. The process should be drawn for NGN quality measurement framework of multimedia traffic. NGN test bed management process model are QoS measurement metrics, measurement interval meter above, and measuring tools, measuring equipment, measurement methods and measurement results from a series of processes for the analysis and methodology. This model, NGN quality assurance activities should be utilized in the future. Quality target level only when themselves constantly measured and managed, does not guarantee the communication quality of service. It is sensitive to the importance of NGN network technology paradigm for research on quality management in the NGN.

The most important design factor for portable devices is power consumption. In this paper, in the early design stage of a mobile device which measures temperature and humidity a power consumption model will be proposed and then the overall power consumption will be estimated based on this model. We will verify previously the correctness of such estimated power consumption before implementation of the real device. That is our proposed design methodology based on power consumption model. An improved design method for efficiently reducing the current consumption in the idle mode is also presented. By implementing a real prototype of the mobile device for measuring temperature and humidity, the correctness of our proposed design methodology based on power consumption modeling will be verified.
PURPOSE. The purpose of this study is to present a methodology to evaluate the accuracy of intraoral scanners (IOS) used in vivo. MATERIALS AND METHODS. A specific feature-based gauge was designed, manufactured, and measured in a coordinate measuring machine (CMM), obtaining reference distances and angles. Then, 10 scans were taken by an IOS with the gauge in the patient's mouth and from the obtained stereolithography (STL) files, a total of 40 distances and 150 angles were measured and compared with the gauge's reference values. In order to provide a comparison, there were defined distance and angle groups in accordance with the increasing scanning area: from a short span area to a complete-arch scanning extension. Data was analyzed using software for statistical analysis. RESULTS. Deviations in measured distances showed that accuracy worsened as the scanning area increased: trueness varied from 0.018 ± 0.021 mm in a distance equivalent to the space spanning a four-unit bridge to 0.106 ± 0.08 mm in a space equivalent to a complete arch. Precision ranged from 0.015 ± 0.03 mm to 0.077 ± 0.073 mm in the same two areas. When analyzing angles, deviations did not show such a worsening pattern. In addition, deviations in angle measurement values were low and there were no calculated significant differences among angle groups. CONCLUSION. Currently, there is no standardized procedure to assess the accuracy of IOS in vivo, and the results show that the proposed methodology can contribute to this purpose. The deviations measured in the study show a worsening accuracy when increasing the length of the scanning area.
We introduce a new performance evaluation methodology that helps programmers evaluate different tuning alternatives in order to improve program performance. This methodology permits measuring performance implications of using tuning alternatives. Specifically, the methodology predicts performance after workload migration for a distributed or parallel program in contrast to traditional performance methodlogies that quantify time spent in program components for bottleneck identification. The methodology thus provides guidance on workload migration. The methodology also permits predicting the performance impact of changing the underlying network. The methodology may evaluate performance incrementally and online during the execution of the program to be tuned. We show that our methodology, when it is implemented and used, permits accurately predicting the performance of different tuning alternatives for a test suite of six programs.

The researches for reduce $CO_2$ are going along animatedly in hole industry area. In construction area, the researches to minimize $CO_2$ emission are progressing variously. The researches to minimize $CO_2$ emission based on $CO_2$ emission. The method measuring $CO_2$ emission are using $CO_2$ emission coefficient on fuel consumption, LCA and an inter-industry relation table. Especially, the methods using the carbon emission coefficient based on fuel consumption are 3 types(Tier1~Tier3) of IPCC. Present, the most using method(Tier1) is using the fuel consumption and the carbon emission coefficient. But because this method do not effect each vehicle distance and driving environment, we can't calculate right $CO_2$ emission. Especially construction project's $CO_2$ emission could be different by project's characteristic. However, we can't apply these difference with present methods. So we need methodology calculating $CO_2$ emission by applying personal project's characteristic and these methodology's most important things is directly measuring $CO_2$ emission of construction equipment which use energy. The object of this study is to develop the $CO_2$ emission calculation methodology which occur in construction process, is to suggest ways to measure in real time $CO_2$ emission from construction equipment.
A high-speed train is the system that the electric power is supplied through the overhead contact line and drives motors. In this case that the de-wiring beteen the overhead contact line and the pantograph of a high-speed train, the occasion that smooth power supply is not accomplished occurs sometimes. If the de-wiring occurs, the arc discharge may damage the overhead contact line or the pantograph, and the falling-off in power quality may cause the damage and malfunctioning of motor block. This paper presents the methodology that the arc discharge by de-wring between overhead line and pantograph is discriminated through measuring the PT and CT in the vehicle, and measures the current collection characteristics for a high speed train.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop the tool that can be used for measuring and appraising the performance of Oncology Advanced Practice Nurse(APN). Method: On the basis of some articles about roles of oncology APN, the researcher made a temporary tool and verified both content validity and face validity. Also the reliability and construct validity were verified. Result: The reliability of this tool was measured by internal consistency. Cronbachs' ${\alpha}$ was .92. The method of verification of construct validity was used known group technique because of small numbers of Oncology APN. Conclusions: This performance appraisal tool of Oncology APN was verified by both the reliability and construct validity. In future, this tool will be able to be used for appraisal and verifying of nursing care of Oncology APN.
This paper proposes an integrated risk-management framework that includes 1) measuring the risk of credit portfolios, 2) implementing a (macro) stress test, and 3) setting risk limits using the estimated systematic latent factor specific to capture the housing market cycle. To this end, we extract information from a set of real-estate market variables based on the FAVAR methodology proposed by Bernanke, Boivin and Eliasz (2005). Then, we show the method by which the estimated systematic factor is applied to risk management in the housing market in an integrated manner within the Vasicek one-factor credit model. The proposed methodology is well fitted to analyze the risk of slow-moving and low-defaultable forms of capital, such as alternative investments.
