커프 압력 조절에 따른 혈류량 변화 평가를 위한 임피던스법의 구현 (Implementation of Impedance Method to Estimate Blood Flow Variation with Cuff Pressure Change)

  • In this study, we measured the blood flow on arm by non-invasive method and implemented a system to measure variation of the blood flow by estimating bio-electrical impedance and arterial pressure according to cuff pressure. The implemented system measured impedance variation according to pressure variation applied by artificial cuff pressure on the measuring position. The system consisted of pressure measuring part and impedance measuring part using 4-electrode method. Pressure measuring part was composed of semiconductor pressure sensor and electronic circuit for signal processing of sensor output signal. In addition, impedance measuring part was composed of constant current source circuit and lock-in amplifier for detecting impedance signal. We conducted experiments of impedance measuring part using standard resistance for performance evaluation of the implemented system. In addition we experimented to estimate variation of the blood flow by measuring impedances of the experimental group. We estimated ratio of the blood flow resistance using mean arterial pressure and variation of the blood flow. As a result the ratio of the blood flow resistance and variation of blood flow were in an inverse relationship with each other and the correlation coefficient was -0.96776.

  • 국민 건강과 삶의 질 향상을 위협하는 많은 요소들 중 미세먼지의 비중은 적지 않으며 발생 원인과 종류도 다양해지고 있다. 그러나 국산 측정기는 초기 단계이고 인증 체계도 미미하다. 오래전부터 미세먼지의 위협을 인식한 미국은 측정 기준과 측정방식의 규약을 마련하고 개발된 미세먼지 측정기기 인증 시스템을 적용하고 있다. 이를 통해 세계 미세먼지 관련 산업과 기술 및 시장을 주도하고 있다. 해마다 반복되는 미세먼지의 폐해를 줄이기 위해 미세먼지 관련 프로토콜 EPA, FRM 및 FEM을 분석하였다. 또한 측정 방식으로 실시간 측정이 가능한 광산란법과 분광법을 살펴보고 국제 인증 수준의 미세먼지 측정기 종류와 특성을 분석하였다. 끝으로 국산 미세먼지 측정기의 개발 방향과 서비스방안을 제시하였다.

  • The performance measurement of construction firms is considered as a competitive advantage to develop and improve their performance to have place in the market and stay able to face the continuous challenge. Egyptian construction firms (ECF) started recently to adopt quality management system (QMS) as a way to develop and improve their performance as previous studies showed. However, measuring that performance to include all the firm's aspects in a competitive way is a crucial process for the ECF's culture. The research is trying to indicate the role of the QMS implementation in measuring performance (MP) through developing a model for measuring performance on the organization level, and explore its impact on the organization that adopt quality management system. This model is based on specific elements and their related indicators which have been derived from national approaches and models of measuring performance (benchmarking, quality awards and six sigma).Elements determination and the status of their real practice has been investigated through a questionnaire to a representative sample of ECF. This model determines the performance level (PL) of the organization that measured by a mean of a point system. Weights of the elements in the point system considered both the elements' importance in the international models and its real practice in the Egyptian construction firms. So, the final outcome of the model reveals the level of firm performance that helps the firm to identify the weak points against the strong ones, Confirm the priorities and identify new opportunities for developing, and Check the position of the company in the market among the others. Another questionnaire has been developed to be distributed on a group of Experts on measuring performance for the purpose of model validation. The majority of surveyed experts agreed that the proposed model can be applied effectively.

  • A precision wear tester is developed to measure the wear rate of a high friction and high pressurized cylinder. The tester consists of indentor system and optical measuring system. The indentor system has two diamond indentors so that they make indents on the inside of the cylinder by using compressed air system. The X-Y-$\theta$ stage of the measuring system can trace the positions of the indents and can measure the diameters of them. The variation of the diameter of each indent after test is converted into the wear rate.

  • This study examined the overall measurement system for the power dispersed high speed railway with 400km/h of maximum test speed. The measuring system evaluating an efficiency, stability and reliability is important for developing the high speed railway. In order to organize the comprehensive measuring system, it is needed to determined the test item, a number of channel and the specifications of the measurement system. In this study, we made lists for the performance evaluation tests of the next generation high speed railway expected to be developed in the future, and prepared generalization channel sheets for the specification of the overall measurement system. In addition, the specifications for the measuring system were discussed and synthesized.

  • This paper presents the results of a investigation, a development of the measuring system for grounding properties in live-line. The importance of the grounding system and it's property has been increased with the development, enlarge in capacity, of electrical industry. Moreover, with the rapid growth of communication and precision industry, now, we should consider the grounding properties to ensure the stable and/or safe operation. But the conventional measuring system is not proper to measure the grounding properties of the system, voltage applied. So, in this investigation, we proposed a new method for live-line measurement and develope the system. And through the field test we could confirm the superior performance of th developed system.

  • The purpose of this paper is to establish an effective inspection system by using OMM (On-Machine Measurement) system based PC-NC. This system can reduce manufacturing lead time because a workpiece is inspected at every machining process and the manufacturing system which includes inspection faculty is able to realize on-line process on CNC machining center. The proposed OMM system is composed of a few algorithms for determination of inspection parameters. It is accomplished by determining the number of measuring points, their location, measuring path using fuzzy logic, Hammersley's method, TSP (Traveling Salesperson Problem) algorithm. The inspection feature applied to this system is based on machining feature. This method is tested by simulation and experiment that are analyzed measuring data and geometry tolerance.

  • We make an ultrasonic system as a trial to measure the distance between trawl doors, and carried out a water tank ($24{\times} 24$m, water depth 1 m) experiment for confirming the practical use of the system in October 1996. This system calculates the distance between the pinger (50 kHz) and the transponder (50 kHz/70 kHz) attached each one on the trawl door by measuring the time-difference of receiving with two channels receiver on the trawler. This paper assums that both the length of the warp from the stern to the trawl door is same. At results the system shows a good relation between the distance and the time-difference of receiving while the location of the pinger is moved in variously in the water tank, and it was found that the method of measuring techniques on the prototype system could be applied to the measurement of the trawl door opening in the field experiment.

  • Three Dimensional measuring system using optical interference is greatly needed for semiconductor surface or optical surface. The application of this system are : MEMS product, semiconductor surfaces, optical components, precise machined surface, etc. In this paper, Interferometry based measurement system is introduced, which is nondestructive and noncontact inspection system. This system have relatively many advantage, compared with AFM/STM, SEM, Stylus, etc. The developed system can measure the surface topography with high precision and resolution, and with few seconds. And the associated software algorithm is also developed for the ultra precision 3D measuring surface. Various samples that is measured using this system is showed in the latter of this paper.

  • 본 논문에서는 항공기내에서 전력을 무선으로 측정할 수 있는 AEMS(Zigbee electric power measurement monitoring system)시스템을 제안한다. AEMS시스템은 현재 상용화되고 있는 전력 측정 시스템을 분석하여 이를 보완하고 항공기내에서도 전력 변화를 쉽게 알 수 있도록 최근 가장 이슈가 되는 스마트폰과 모니터링 시스템을 연결하여 설계하였다. 또한, 실시간 전력 측정 시스템을 도입하여 전기 사용량을 실시간으로 제어함으로써 보다 실용성 있는 전력계측 시스템을 구축하였다.
