The purpose of this study is to suggest a practical way to measure and report corporate social performance as public interest in corporate social value pursuits increases. In particular, we will look for ways to measure and report on the financial and social performance of a company based on the concept of the Double Bottom Line (DBL), which has recently spread to big companies. For this purpose, this study analyzed the theoretical background and practical techniques related to measuring and reporting corporate social performance, and examined methods for measuring and reporting social performance in the existing financial performance measurement system. As a result, SROI was the most suitable method for measuring social performance of a company. It is recommended that social performance reporting follows the disclosure method of the accounting system, and the details of reporting suggest that using the standard of GRI Standard, an international standard related to sustainability reporting, is the most reasonable alternative to 'Double Bottom Line' performance reporting.

In a very competitive construction business environment there is a need to measure and manage business performance across a wider spectrum of business success criteria. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and Triple Bottom Line (TBL) reporting concepts are emerging as champions in the race for sustainable business success. The construction business organisations are often judged based on their financial performance as well as wider performance. This paper aims at developing a universally accepted tool for assessing contractors' wider business performance in the construction industry. A prototype of web-based business performance measurement system has been developed to help contractors assess their own performance aimed at uplifting their performance. The consultants/clients can also use the tool to measure contractors' performance in a value-based contractor selection. The system was developed based on the research conducted among 63 senior construction professionals and therefore further research with the participation of a large number of managers across different countries and also an upgrade of the system will be required.

본 논문에서는 선형 구조물에 대해 성능함수법을 이용하여 신뢰성기반 위상 최적설계 기법을 개발하였다. 구조물을 라이즈너-민들린(Ressiner-Mindlin) 판 요소로 분할하였으며, 각 요소의 재료 물성치를 설계변수로 사용하였다. 설계변수와 임의변수의 효율적인 설계민감도를 구하기 위하여 연속체 역학에 기초한 해석기법 중 보조변수법(Adjont variable method)을 사용하였다. 또한 확률론적 제약조건을 평가하기 위해서 성능함수법(Performance measure approach)을 사용하였으며 변위 제약조건을 두어 위상 최적설계 문제를 구성하였다. 이 때 재료 물성치와 하중을 불확실 변수로 고려하였으며 수치적 예제를 통하여 본 논문에서 제안한 최적설계 방법론을 기존의 결정론적 방법, 안전계수법(Safety factor approach), 최악조건법(Worst case approach) 등과 비교하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

This paper analytically derives the variance of service time of a station in the symmetric IEEE 802.4 token bus network with single access class and finite buffer capacity. This performance measure is represented in terms of the total number of stations, the token hold time, the arrival rate of frames, the service rate, and other parameters. Using computer simulations, presented performance measure is validated.

As electronic commerce under the digital economy environment evolves rapidly affecting the structure of our economy and individual life styles, the need for metrics system to evaluate the performance of electronic commerce activities remarkably increases. Reviewing the characteristics of electronic commerce and some issues related to its measurement, this paper proposes a framework to measure the performance of electronic commerce business activities. the proposed framework customizes the balanced scorecard method for electronic commerce practices and can be applied effectively to electronic commerce businesses as an appropriate measure.

Supervision work deals with important data necessary for the performance management on building construction sites in accordance with the Building Act. Therefore, this study attempts to use the data from supervisory reports to measure the performance of private building projects. Performance measurement is important for systematic management. However, there are only a few cases in which performance measurement is performed because it requires strenuous efforts to collect data for measurement. First, this study derived 6 performance areas and 15 indicators through a few rounds of expert group discussions. Then, we confirmed the performance indicators with high feasibility of data collection through a survey of supervision experts. It is expected that the data of supervisory reports can measure systematically performance and assist in speedy diagnosis of private building construction sites.

An important objective of pull-based production control is to achieve synchronized and smooth production flow in a multi-stage system that is subject to uncertainty. To our knowledge, previous research has not generated a performance measure that captures this objective of pull-based probased production control system. This performance material with respect to the instant when the operation is required. We examine the issue of asynchronous waste in a two-stage kanban control system.

Since the mid-1990s, the corporate social responsibility(adhere CSR) has risen as an important issue in Korean company. We have classified 3 effects of CSR activities on corporate performance. That is, this study investigates the relationship between CSR and corporate performance, which are financial performance, marketing performance, human resource and organization performance. Previous literatures discuss how CSR activities influence on corporate performance. But they have not reached at a clear conclusion and the issue is still debate. The relationship between CSR and corporate performance is actually more complicated, so this study is to review literature of various perspective. In this study, CSR management tool proposed for effective and efficiency CSR management by literature review. A right measure is fundamental factor for effective and efficiency CSR management. This study provide fundamental tip for CSR measure using of principles of ISO 26000.

본 연구에서는 레코드필드 선택이 대규모 서지 데이터베이스 탐색시 미치는 검색 성능에 대하여 관찰하였다. 실험의 구성 요소는 크게 (1) 대규모 상업용 데이터베이스 INSPEC. (2) 관련된 레코드들 (target sets이라고 정의함). (3) 4개의 키워드가 한 세트로 이루어진 4개의 서로 다른 형태의 질의어들 (CT_TF, CT_IDF, UT_TF, UT_IDF), (4) 최적의 질의를 위한 알고리즘, (5) 가능한 모든 경우의 탐색식을 생성해내는 블리언 탐색식 생성기, 그리고 (6) 실제 운영중인 웹 기반의 검색 시스템으로 이뤄졌다. 실험에서의 레코드 필드 선택은 (1) Abstract, (2) Descriptors, (3) Identifiers, (4) 'Subject'(Descriptors + Identifiers). (5) Title. (6) 'All fields'로 정의하여 독립변수로 채택하였다. 검색 성능은 재현율, 정도율을 모두 반영한 Heine의 D측정에 의하여 평가 되었다. 본 연구에서 얻은 주된 결과로는 (1) 필드선택은 검색성능에 중요한 영향을 미치며, (2) 각 검색 성능에서 보여준 순위는 질의어에 따라 민감한 결과를 보였고 (3) 제목(Title)필드 선택이 D측정에서 최적의 결과를 보였다.

This paper presents an approach for classifying scheduling problems and selecting a heuristic rule to yield best solution in terms of certain performance measure(s). Classification parameters are employed from previous studies on job shop scheduling and project scheduling. Neural network is used for learning and estimating the performance of heuristic rules. In addition, multi-criteria decision making techniques are employed to combine the preferences for each performance measure and heuristic rule for the problems with multi-objectives.
