In this work we start from the thesis that Schiller's Aesthetic Letters contains two different doctrines of aesthetic education. When Schiller first raised the need of aesthetic education in his 1793 letters to Friedrich Christian von Augustenburg, he wanted to show that the taste for beauty contributes to morality and emphasized that man could reach pure reason only by way of beauty. When he revised the original letters and published them in 1795, he added some important parts concerning beauty as the condition and idea of humanity and the following arguments about 'aesthetic condition.' These added parts emphasize the harmony of reason and sensibility in beauty and the restoration of totality in 'aesthetic condition.' We examine the meaning and implications of 'aesthetic condition' in comparison with Schiller's 1793 doctrine of 'three-phase development of humanity,' and explain the background of this thought and also how it developed before and after Aesthetic Letters.

Hayao Miyazaki provides pleasure which go beyond the barrier of culture and language through realizing pan-cultural and mythical space which can communicate with the audience through unique, aesthetic expression. In his animation storytelling, diverse tangible and intangible symbolic elements based on the traditional culture inherent to Japan are actively utilized, and he provides the audience with the aesthetic pleasure of arbitrary interpretation and contemplation by composing the system of connotative signification through such symbols. In this process, he creates the value of the system of meaning which clearly conveys the mythical message of connotative meaning of the work through the aesthetic form based on the universal experience of confrontation and coexistence. It can be said that this is the communicative value of animation storytelling pursued by Hayao.

This study investigated the effect of calling on job burnout among nursing care workers, and a total of 230 copies were distributed to analyze 198 copies, excluding 32 copies of questionnaires with poor or missing answers. The correlation between factors on job burnout was found to have a positive correlation coefficient in the values of personal environment meaning and work meaning, and as a result of examining the effect of sub-factors of calling consciousness on job burnout, it was found that personal environment suitability had a significant effect. In order to reduce the job exhaustion of nursing care workers comprehensively, it is necessary to provide an environment for working at an institution. In addition, it will be necessary to activate the relevant institution in preparation for problems occurring in the workplace.

The main objective of this study was to find participant's recognition about and meaning of stream trekking activities by analyzing their reports after visiting Gumgang, which was a kind of field experience combined with environmental education programs. In addition, this work suggested a few points that might help improve trekking programs, trail establishment and the overall field activities along the river. Eighty reports were collected from the participants who had joined in the Gumgang trekking programs organized by both Green Korea United in Daejeon and Gumgang Basin Environmental Office of Korean EPA. A database of texts in the reports was created for the preliminary analysis and then the results were further examined in a qualitative methodology. The results of qualitative analysis demonstrated that before experiencing the trekking activities in the Gumgang, many participants seemed uninterested in a river itself, objectified it, or simply recognized functional roles. It is found that most participants preferred crossing rapids to other activities. Crossing rapids has the eleven positive aspects as follows. First of all, crossing rapids is fun and scary experience at the same time. Secondly, it is painful, but makes people feel happy ironically. Third, rapids themselves make people reminisce about their childhood and feel freedom. Fourth, they make people feel comfortable. Fifth, crossing rapids is addictive. Sixth, rapids have life. Seventh, people can learn how to adapt to nature through the experience in them. Eighth, they can make people cooperate. Ninth, they can make people recollect their old friends. Tenth, people can extend their experience near rapids to rivers. Eleventh, they can make people reflect themselves. There ere three remarkable findings about experience in rapids. Crossing rapids was an activity that most participants preferred and could make the goal of trekking in the Gumgang effectively achievable. By crossing rapids participants can understand both lively and painful parts of the river. Participants think tour guide was an essential part to trekking along the Gumgang.

Semantic Web is what supports a search, data integration, and automated web service by developing technology of giving help so that a computer can understand information a little more on the web. As amount of information gets growing and diverse, there is a problem of offering by efficiently extracting and processing only information proper for users' demand. Semantic Web isn't what is distinguished completely from the existing web. It gives a meaning, which was well defined, to information of being inserted on web by expanding the current web. Through this, a computer and a person come to perform work cooperatively. To implement Semantic Web, the limit of HTML needs to be overcome. The existing access authorization has not taken information and semantics into account due to the limitations of HTML. It is difficult to expand or integrate many relevant documents by using HTML. Program or software agent, not a person, cannot extract a meaning of document automatically. This study suggests a method of Access Authorization Policy Management that is in the Semantic Web configuration. Accordingly, the policy, which was designed in this study, improved the authorization process more than the existing method.

This study analyzed the effects of organizational culture on psychological empowerment and organization efficiency, and the effects of psychological empowerment on organization efficiency in fashion companies. In addition, this study analyzed the differences between organizational culture, psychological empowerment and organization efficiency across demographic characteristics. The survey was conducted among employees of fashion companies, and 320 responses were used in the data analysis. As a result, the group culture and innovative culture in fashion companies positively influenced the competence and meaning of psychological empowerment. An innovative culture and rational culture positively influenced the self-determination, and the group culture and rational culture positively influenced the impact of psychological empowerment. The group culture, innovative culture, and rational culture of fashion companies positively influenced job satisfaction, and the group culture, innovative culture, and hierarchical culture positively influenced job commitment. The group culture and innovative culture negatively influenced the turnover intention, but the hierarchical culture positively influenced the turnover intention. In addition, the psychological empowerment (competence, self-determination, impact, and meaning) positively influenced job satisfaction, and the competence, self-determination, and impact positively influenced job commitment. Competence negatively influenced the turnover intention, but the impact positively influenced the turnover intention. There was a difference in the group culture and turnover intention by ages, as well as a difference in the hierarchical culture and self-determination by work departments. The results of this study will be helpful for the establishment of the management and business strategies in fashion companies.

The iconic language interlace is designed to provide more convenient environments for communication to the target system than the keyboard-based interface. For this work, tendencies and features of vocabulary are analyzed in conversation corpora constructed from the corresponding domains with high degree of utilization, and the meaning and vocabulary system of iconic language are constructed through application of natural language processing methodologies such as morphological, syntactic and semantic analyses. The part of speech and grammatical rules of iconic language are defined in order to make the situation corresponding the icon to the vocabulary and meaning of the Korean language and to communicate through icon sequence. For linguistic ambiguity resolution which may occur in the iconic language and for effective semantic processing, semantic data focused on situation of the iconic language are constructed from the general purpose Korean semantic dictionary and subcategorization dictionary. Based on them, the Korean language generation from the iconic interface in semantic domain is suggested.

General concern over 'Quality of Life(QOL)' has caused many researches, which compare nations' or cities' QOL by the normative criteria proposed by themselves. The fact that these are characterized by subjectiveness makes this study have a purpose of trying to enhance the intersubjectiveness by means of quantitive analysis to find the factors on the QOL. This study uses statistical methods such as multiple regression and factor analysis based on the secondary data from the "2011 Seoul Survey". The survey includes many items, for example happiness index and satisfaction for work, amenity, etc.. And the analysis tells three findings as follows; Firstly, five subcategories of happiness have relative importance in the order of (1)financial condition, (2)health, (3)social activities, (4)community relationship and (5)family life. These generally constitute the first factor extracted by factor analysis and named 'abundance-family-intimacy factor.' Secondly, the 'abundance-family-intimacy factor' and the 'information-danger factor' among five factors(the others are 'learning-giving factor', 'local patriotism-hope for rise factor' and 'amenity-comfort factor') have statistically significant effect to QOL. Thirdly, the first factor has positive effect, but the second has negative to QOL. Note is needed to the fact that the items on SNS and internet belong to second factor and to the result that these make QOL deteriorate. These results should be considered as having limited meaning of statistical aspect. But accumulation of following studies by quantitive approach is anticipate to make more practical and general meaning.

A Chinese female writer Linhaiyin(林海音) and Chengnanjiushi(城南舊事), her representative work, have never been studied in Korea before although she and her literary works stand high and are well known in the history of the modern Chinese literature. Thus, in this paper, I analyze her and her novels included in Chengnanjiushi and study their literary value and meaning. To analyze and study them, I mainly consider novels Anhuiguan, Womenkanhaiqu, Lanyiniang, $L{\acute{\ddot{u}}}dagunr$, and Babadehuarluole included in Chengnanjiushi. Firstly, I look into her attitude and mode to observe children and women's life as a writer. Such attitude and mode succeeded to the spirit of the '5.4 literature'. Secondly, I evaluate Linhaiyin's 'Both sides complex' and its value in the history of literature. From this evaluation, the meaning of Linhaiyin's literature is highlighted. She was free from 'Both sides complex' occurred due to the circumstance of the times and played a role of a bridge so as not to break off literature of China and Taiwan. When her and her works are evaluated, this is one of the most important values. The characteristic of her writing mode is that she did not seek a compelling climax, a surprising reversal, or an exclusive plot or character in her works. In her works, plain description or unwitting conversation and story often imply deep meanings. Thus, at unexpected moment after reading her novels, readers truly listen to deep resonance for her attitude and mode to observe people's life. This is exactly her potential energy that makes readers sink into her literary world regardless of time and space.

The purpose of this research is to establish a method for the construction of a multimedia electronic dictionary system by integrating the media data available from linguistic resources on the Internet. As the result of this study, existing text-oriented electronic dictionary systems can be developed into multimedia lexical systems with greater efficiency and effectiveness. A method is proposed to integrate the media data of linguistic resources on the Internet by a web browser. In the proposed method, a web browser carries out all the work related to integration of media data, and it does not need a dedicated server system. The system constructed by our web browser environment integrates text, image, and voice sources, and also can produce moving pictures. Each media is associated with the meaning of data so that the data integration and movement may be specified in the associations. SMIL documents are generated by analyzing the meaning of each data unit and they are executed in a web browser. The proposed system can be operated without a dedicated server system. And also, the system saves storage space by sharing the each media data distributed on the Internet, and makes it easier to update data.
