기술 경쟁력 평가를 위한 정성적 산업기술 수준지표 개발 (Development of the Qualitative Industrial Technological Level Indicator to Evaluate the Technology Competitiveness)

  • How to measure technological level has concerned research analysists for a long time. Many methods exist, and they all have their advantages and disadvantages according to how they are used. The purpose of this study is to develop qualitative indicator to measure industrial technological level, in particular manufacturing capacity. In this indicator, the two basis of technology classification and the concept of the technology competitiveness were introduced. First, the types of technology are classified as three classes : material technology, processing technology and product technology. Second, the characteristics of technology are divided into the three categories : core technology, peripheral technology and sprouting technology On this basis, the qualitative technological level was made in terms of the competitiveness of it's manufacturing capacity. This study should be a practical approach for application of measuring of technological level.

Image Restoration in Dual Energy Digital Radiography using Wiener Filtering Method

  • Wiener filtering method was applied to the dual energy imaging procedure in digital radiography(D.R.). A linear scanning photodiode arrays with 1024 elements(0.6mm H 1.3mm pixel size) were used to obtain chest images in 0.7 sec. For high energy image acquisition, X-ray tube was set at 140KVp, 100mA with a rare-earth phosphor screen. Low energy image was obtained with X-ray tube setting at 70KVp, 150mA. These measured dual energy images are represented in the vector matrix notation as a linear discrete model including the additive random noise. Then, the object images are restored in the minimum mean square error sense using Wiener filtering method in the transformed domain. These restored high and low energy images are used for computation of the basis image decomposition. Then the basis images are linearly combined to produce bone or tissue selective images. Using this process, we could improve the signal to noise ratio characteristics in the material selective images.

  • This paper presents racetrack High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) magnet with iron plates to achieve the maximum current-carrying capacity and the simple shape that can easily be wound and jointed. On the basis of the magnetic field analysis using Biot-Savart's law and 3 Dimensional Finite Element Analysis (3D FEA), this study is focused on the function of iron plates, which is to obtain smaller B${\perp}$, and stress and strain condition of Ag-sheathed Bi-2223 37-filament HTS tapes are considered. Moreover, the measured performance of the magnet with iron plates improved by 50% on the basis of initial magnet.

칡덩굴을 이용한 남은 음식물의 발효사료화 (Fermented Feeds Production of Garbages using Kudzu Creeper as a Bulking Material)

  • The study on the fermented feeds production of garbages have been conducted to determine the optimum operation condition. The process variables considered for this study were initial air flow rate and temperature control. The results showed that optimum air requirement was $4{\ell}-air/min{\cdot}kg-$ garbages on dry weight basis which is equal to $0.8{\ell}-air/min{\cdot}kg-$ garbages on the basis of 80% moisture content. The optimum initial temperature control in the reactor was $40^{\circ}C$. Crude fiber content of fermented final byproducts were higher than feedstuffs standard for pig breeding and consequently final byproducts had to mix with single-component feed.

  • Many studies about carbonation experiments which result in deterioration of the Reinforced Concrete(from now on RC) structure have being done by now. But most of the studies are about RC itself without thinking of finishing materials. So in this study, we experimented to know restrain-effects which each finishing material has for carbonation. On the basis of experiments, we estimated velocity coefficient for carbonation. We want to show basis data about how much each surface-finish has a restrain-performance against carbonation.

  • Specimens of Ti-10Ta-10Nb have been hot upset forged after heating to either the $\alpha$+$\beta$ and $\beta$-phase field. The variety temperatures (At 650, 700, 750, 800, 85$0^{\circ}C$) and strain rates (At 0.001, 0.01. 0.1, 1, 10 $s^{-1}$ ) were used. On the basis of flow stress data obtained as a function of temperature and strain rate in compression, a processing map for hot working has been developed. At strain rates lower than about 0.1 $s^{-1}$ and almost temperatures, processing efficiency exhibited high, but at 0.001 $s^{-l}$, and temperature 80$0^{\circ}C$, low because the Shear band has occurred. On the basis of the processing map, the optimum processing routes available for hot working of this material are outlined.d.

  • This study proposes analysis and evaluation method of time series ultrasonic signal using attractor analysis for fusion joint part of polyethylene piping. Quantitatively characteristics of fusion joint part is analysed features extracted from time series. Trajectory changes in the attractor indicated a substantial difference in fractal characteristics. These differences in characteristics of fusion joint part enables the evaluation of unique characteristics of fusion joint part. In quantitative fractal feature extraction, feature values of 4.291 in the case of debonding and 3.694 in the case of bonding were proposed on the basis of fractal dimensions. In quantitative quadrant feature extraction, 1,306 point in the case of bonding(one quadrant) and 1,209 point(one quadrant) in the case of debonding were proposed on the basis of fractal dimensions. Proposed attractor feature extraction can be used for integrity evaluation of polyethylene piping material which is in case of bonding or debonding.

자원절약을 위한 가변형 평면계획을 위한 설계원리 (Design Principles for Flexible House Plan corresponding to Resource Saving)

  • The purpose of this paper is to develop formal design principles towards flexible house plan. A flexible house plan accomodates spatial requirements corresponding to change of life style and provides a way of saving architectural materials. Design properties as a basis for manipulation of room includes adjacency, orientation and geometrical information which are suited well to flexible design. This paper has developed a formal grammar of shape which can be utilized to transform house plan. Flexible design presented here is based on the idea of various operations of the shape grammar. The shape grammar, as a set of rules, specifies manipulations of shapes for reorganization of spatial relationships of rooms in a house plan. It lists exemplary rules in control knowledge which guides design processes for modifying a plan. An example taken from house plan design is used to ilustrate important aspects of the flexible design which fundamentally provides the basis for architectural material saving.

수증기 증류법과 초임계유체 추출법으로 분리한 배초향의 정유성분 조성 비교 (Comparison of Essential Oil Composition Extracted from Agastache rugosa by Steam Distillation and Supercritical Fluid Extraction)

  • In order to compare the extraction patterns of main components from the raw material between the extraction methods, the aerial parts (dried stem, leaves, and flowers) of Agastache rugosa were extracted by SDE simultaneous steam distillation & extraction) and SFE (supercritical fluid extraction). Volatile components of essential oil and extract were identified by GC and GC-MSD. The contents of essential oil extracted by SDE were 0.49% in aerial part of Agastache rugosa on dry basis. Major components were methyl chavicol(27.2%), isomenthone(24.6%), hexadecanoic acid(13.0%). menthone (5.5%) among 32 kinds of components confirmed in essential oil. On the other hand, the contents of SFE extracts revealed 3.21% on dry basis, 6 times higher than those of SDE. Major components were isomenthone(15.3%), hexadecanoic acid(13.7%), methyl chavicol(12.6%), benzoic acid(3.8%) among 33 kinds of components identified in extract.
