Piezoelectric ceramics is an active element that makes stator to vibrate to generate rotational force in ultrasonic motors. In drive of ultrasonic motors, many factors that affect to the resonance characteristics of piezoelectric ceramics exist. For example, those factors are bonding condition with elastic body, the magnitude of electric field, the normal force for frictional drive and the emission of heat due to vibration and friction and so on. Therefore, it is important to research the inclination of property variation of piezoelectric ceramics in circumstance that has complex elements. In this paper, we focused and analyzed the resonance characteristics of ultrasonic motor due to the magnitude of the driving voltage and normal force.

This study analyzes the major provisions of the UK Insurance Act 2015 and Marine Insurance Act 1906 on the duty of disclosure under the doctrine of utmost good faith. Marine insurance contracts are based on "utmost good faith" and one aspect of this is that MIA 1906 imposes a duty on prospective policy holders to disclose all material facts. In the Insurance Act 2015 of the United Kingdom, the contents of the precedent were enacted such that we have borrowed the legal principles of common law until now. The insurer is required to more actively communicate with the insurer rather than passively underwriting and asking questions of the insured. The Act details the insured's constructive knowledge of the material circumstance by reviewing the current case law and introduces a new system for the insurer's proportionate remedy against the insured's breach of the duty of fair presentation of risk. This is a default regime, which may be altered by agreement between the parties.

Direct current (DC) electric fields have been used for electro-osmotic dewatering. Under DC conditions, however, the electrical contact resistance between the electrode and the dewatering material increases considerably during the process of dewatering. Such a circumstance hinders the continuation of effective electro-osmotic dewatering. To reduce this hindrance, an applied pulse electric field with periodic reversals of the electrode polarity should improve electro-osmotic dewatering. In this study, electro-osmotic dewatering under pulse conditions was experimentally investigated for electrode polarity reversals. During the dewatering process, the pulse electric field was able to reduce the hindrance caused by the DC, resulting in an increased final dewatered amount relative to that under a DC electric field. For a constant applied voltage, the reversed polarity condition, under which the electric current passing through the material was almost unchanged with time, yielded the maximum final dewatered amount. This technique can be used to enhance drainage from a water storage facility during a period of extreme drought and the seawater desalination plants using reverse osmosis in drought stricken coastal regions.

The Multi-family Residential is one of the most famous building types for a rental property in the US. Often times it includes multiple residential buildings and some amenity facilities, including a clubhouse or leasing office, swimming pool, dog park, and garages. Since the building type is built for rental purposes, the construction planning is phased and it makes the project complicated. Detailed planning and execution are important for successful construction management. This paper provides some management practices that are applied to one of the multi-family residential construction projects in Phoenix, AZ. The Front End Planning (FEP) process performed by both owner and contractor is the first key to a successful construction project. Specifically, the early review of phased turnover strategy, grading, fire/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, and Mechanical/ Electricity/Plumbing/Technology (MEPT) will provide absolute benefit to the project. Second, using a scheduling method to control short-term schedules and long-term can provide the ability to manage the issues with agility. Third, material delivery and procurement dominate the both project schedule and cost. With this COVID-19 circumstance, it is hard to expect the material, equipment, and labor forces to be delivered on time with the contracted price. Managing floats are more than important to managing construction productivity. Risk management should work to share the risks fairly. Lastly, turnover is directly linked with the profit of the project for both owner and contractor. The communication between the owner and contractor to re-schedule the proper turnover schedule is important for the phased construction project.

In accordance with changes in life style, people's desire to eat out is getting changed in their preferring factors from whether they can buy food they want to eat fast and easily to mood of the dining space, content and quality of service, hygiene condition of restaurant, quiet location and surrounding circumstance, and discount coupon and price destruction. In addition, consumers who begin to recognize the seriousness of environmental pollution prefer health-oriented food. On the other hand, excessive presence of competitors, growing personnel expense, increasing expenditure in accordance with swelling price of rent and material expenditure, increase of tax burden, decrease of income because of credit card service charge and high expected level by consumers make it difficult for restaurant's owners to manage restaurant business. Therefore, this study purposes to establish development of menu from the consumer's and the supplier's point of view and propose how to develop menu aiming at convenience, health and diversity.

Korean sports fashion began after 1990. after 1960, using vinyl, leather, plastic ＆ metal material, Yve st. Laurent, Pierre Cardin, Andre Courrges, they lead sportive look. Head of 20th century, fashion was lead by haute­couture, after 60s. It was changed to pret­a poter. Now it can be called of american casual ＆ sports fashion. This study would be a view of modem fashion trend and process of visualization in the future. I studied in reproduction of view ＆ age of hyper media with visual circumstance ＆ artistic background and mordern fashion trend ＆ sports fashion image in korea. In conclusion, sports fashion image as visualizing aesthetic concept of modern fashion be defined as technology for man, for instance comfort, function, flexibility, simplicity and minimalism. Specically, Sports fashion was began satisfied for function after 90s, we can see variety of easy wear, hip-hop casual, entertainment sports wear, new street sports wear, luxury sports wear.

Glass fiber is widely used in architectural acoustics or building acoustics for sound absorption since it was introduced into China for about 50 years. But recent years, with people pay more attentions to the air cleansing and their health which may be affected by the tiny fiber of the glasswool, a voluntary tendency opposing glass fiber of room using is gradual appeared in China. This paper discusses both the main opinions towards the question whether there are harmful impacts on people health from glassfiber, and the application circumstance of it's applying in china. This paper focuses on another substitute sound absorbing material, melamine foam, to discuss the strong environmental friendly tendency opposing glass fiber of room using in China now.

This case covers the issues related to the operation problem, cause analysis and improvement cases of the FGD that employed the non-leakage type GGH in coal-fired power plant for the first time in Korea. In the Cooler, there was a main problem that the tube is damaged by the ash cutting due to the high velocity of flue gas in the duct and by the weak wear resistance of material. In the Reheater, there was a main problem that the tube was corroded due to chlorine and sulfur in the circumstance of the low temperature. In order to solve those problems, we have improved the Reheater tube and tube fins by coating enamel to reduce corrosion rate.

Since the types and formats of the provided material and data are difficulties from one to another, difficulties have occurred in exchanging and sharing Information. Under such a circumstance, standardization and management of information or files have been a critical factor leading to an active and successful Electronic Commerce. XML(extensible Markup Language), which is a standardized format for data exchange via internet, has been recognized as a standard by World Wide Web Consortium(W3C). XML takes web environment as the interface, runs well even in a heterogeneous environment and saves data in a standardized format, therefore, it can be effectively used for creating and transferring standardized files. In this paper, a XML-based data processing system, which aims at supplementing the existing HTML-based shopping mall system and the methodology for constructing the system is presented with specific examples.

As new functional electronics are being developed fast, the commercialization rate of advanced battery as a power source proceeds rapidly. Lithium battery is satisfying the needs of high-energy source for its lightness and good electrochemical property. Especially lithium ion battery, adopted as a new power source for portable electronic equipments around the globe, has been mass-produced. Under the circumstance, the generation of lithium battery wastes is becoming a new environmental problem. In this paper, we are going to inspect technology developments for recycling of lithium battery wastes and scraps in domestic and foreign area, and to suggest how to treat domestic lithium battery wastes and scraps better.
