과부하에 의해 변형된 비닐절연전선의 구조변화 분석 (Analysis on the Structure Variation of IV Transformed by the Overload)

  • When the current flows over the allowable current due to the overload, it causes electric disaster such as an electrical fire and an electric shock by short current or leakage of electricity because the covering is deteriorated according to the heating action. In this paper, for the wire(IV 1.6mm) used as interior wiring, we analyzed a variation of the surroundings temperature, the form and the structure of a covering, and the crystal structure of a conductor. In the result of this experiment, the surroundings temperature at the allowable current of 300% rose to about 47$^{\circ}C$, and it rose up to the maximum allowable temperature of the wire at 400%. Consequently, it was broken within one minute at 500%. In the analysis of a metallograph, the conductor broken by the over current showed the dendrite. These analyses result will be applied to judging the electrical fire.

우주항공 재료시스템 품질인증 (Certification Methodology of Aerospace Materials System)

  • Structural qualification plan (SQP) for aerospace vehicle is based on material certification methodology, which must be approved by certification authority. It is internationally required to use of statistically based material allowables to design aerospace vehicles with aerospace materials. In order to comply with this regulation, it is necessary to establish relatively large amount of database, which increases test costs and time. Recently NASA/FAA develop the new methodology which results in cost, time, and risk reduction, and satisfies the regulation at the same time. This paper summarizes the certification methodology of materials system as a part of structural qualification plan (SQP) of aerospace vehicles and also thermal management of the vehicle system, like thermal protection materials system and thermally conductive material system. Materials design allowable was determined using this method for a carbon/epoxy composite material.

국산 복합재료의 물성치 공유체계 수립을 위한 요구조건 (Requirements for Composite Material Property Sharing System to Korean Products)

  • This paper presents a survey results on the material properties sharing system database on composite in USA. The requirements on management and database for Korean composite product that meet KAS (Korean Airworthiness Standard) are suggested. The certification policy on composite material qualification of also introduced. The benefits to material supplier, aircraft manufacturer and certification authority, which get through the database have been considered. The database managing process, composite material manufacturing process, properties and design allowable meeting KAS have been suggested.

볼트식 각관형식으로 이음된 PHC 말뚝의 거동 (Behavior of PHC Pile Connected by Bolted Rectangular Steel Tubular)

  • In this study, the applicability of PHC pile jointing method using rectangular steel tubular was studied. PHC pile joints are welded and bolt assembly. The bolt assembly method is a method that improves the various problems of welded joints. Numerical analysis and tests were conducted to analyze the applicability of the PHC pile jointing method using a rectangular steel tubular. The tests were carried out to test the material properties of the rectangular steel tubular material and the bending test of the pile joints. The numerical analysis was interpreted in the same conditons as the tests conditions. As a result, the material strength of each rectangular steel tubular could be used as a joint material. In the bending test, it was evaluated as a sTable material above the allowable stress of piles. In the numerical analysis results under the same conditions as the tests, it was possible to apply the pile joint material without exceeding the allowable stress of the material.

보강토옹벽을 구성하는 타이바와 전면블록의 연결강도에 관한 실험연구 (An Experimental Study on Connection Strength between Tie-bar and Facing block composing Reinforced Earth)

  • 본 논문에서는 생태축조블록(전면블록)과 타이바로 사용되는 이형철근 그리고 앵커블록과 이형철근 사이의 연결강도를 속채움재료를 콘크리트, 흙, 쇄석으로 달리하여 실험을 통해 구하였다. 실험결과에 따르면 생태축조블록과 이형철근의 연결에 있어서는 속채움 재료로 콘크리트를 사용한 경우 연결강도가 타이바의 허용인장력보다 큰 반면 속채움 재료로 흙 또는 쇄석을 사용한 경우에는 연결강도가 타이바의 허용인장력과 비슷하거나 작게 측정되었다. 앵커블록과 타이바의 연결에 있어서는 속채움 재료로 쇄석을 사용하였는데 연결강도는 타이바의 허용인장력보다 크게 측정되었다.

복합재료의 인증, 동등성 및 수락시험 (Material Qualification, Equivalency, and Acceptance Test for Aerospace Composite Materials)

  • 복합재료를 사용하여 우주항공 부품을 설계할 때 국내는 물론, 미국을 비롯한 우주항공선진국의 감항규정에서 민간과 군용 모두 통계적으로 산출된 값을 사용할 것을 요구하고 있다. 그러나 이 기준을 만족하기 위해서는 방대한 데이터베이스가 필요하여 시험 비용 및 시간이 큰 문제가 되어왔다. 최근 미국 NASA/FAA에서 시험 개수를 줄이면서 동시에 통계적 기준을 만족할 수 있는 새로운 설계허용값 산출방법을 AGATE 프로그램을 통해서 개발하였다. 특히 이미 인증된 재료를 다른 사업에 사용하기 위해서 사용할 수 있는 재료동등성 시험(Material Equivalency Test)은 국내의 사업에 직접 적용할 수 있는 중요한 개념이다. 본 논문에서는 국내에서 사용하고 있는 복합재료의 특성을 공유하여 비용을 절감하고 재료특성을 정확히 관리할 목적으로 재료 동등성 및 수락시험 절차를 설명하고, 예로서 국내에서 개발한 고온용 탄소복합재료의 설계허용값을 산출하였다.

성토지반에 타입된 H형강 말뚝의 지지거동 (Bearing Capacity of Driven H-Piles in Embankment)

  • To find axial and lateral responses of impact-driven H piles in embankment(SM), the H piles are instrumented with electric strain gages, dynamic load test is performed during driving, and then the damage of strain gages is checked simultaneously. Axially and laterally static load tests are performed on the same piles after one to nine days as well. Then load-settlement behavior is measured. Furthermore, to find the set-up effect in H pile, No. 4, 16, 26, and R6 piles are restriked about 1, 2, and 14 days after driving. As results, ram height and pile capacity obtained from impact driving control method become 80cm and 210.3∼242.3ton, respectively. At 15 days after driving, allowable bearing capacity by CAPWAP analysis, which 2.5 of the factor of safety is applied for ultimate bearing capacity, increases 10.8%. Ultimate bearing capacity obtained from axially static load test is 306∼338ton. This capacity is 68.5∼75.7% at yield force of pile material and is 4∼4.5 times of design load. Allowable bearing capacity using 2 of the factor of safety is 153∼169ton. Initial stiffness response of the pile is 27.5ton/mm. As the lateral load increases, the horizontal load-settlement behaves linearly to which the lateral load reaches up to 17ton. This reason is filled with sand in the cavity formed between flange and web during pile driving. As the result of reading with electric strain gages, flange material of pile is yielded at 19ton in horizontal load. Thus allowable load of this pile material is 9.5ton when the factor of safety is 2.0. Allowable lateral displacement of this pile corresponding to this load is 23∼36mm in embankment.

벨로우즈형 신축관이음의 휨각도 예측 및 이를 이용한 배관계의 안정성 해석 (Prediction of Bending Angle of Bellows and Stability Analysis of Pipeline Using the Prediction)

  • In this study, the prediction of the bending angle for the 350 A bellows-type expansion joints and the structural stability according to the load were determined. The stability of the 2km piping system was predicted by applying the allowable bending angle of the expansion pipe joint obtained from the analysis. The maximum bending angle was calculated through bending analysis of the bellows-type expansion joints, and the maximum bending angle by numerical calculation was about 1.8°, and the maximum bending angle of the bellows obtained by comparing the allowable strength of the material was about 0. 22°. This angle was very stable compared to the allowable bending angle (3°) of the expansion pipe joint regulation. By applying the maximum bending angle, the allowable maximum deflection of the 2 km pipe was about 3.8 m. When the seismic load was considered using regression analysis, the maximum deflection of the 2km pipe was about 142.3mm, and it was confirmed that the bellows-type expansion joints and the deflection were stable compared to the allowable maximum deflection of the pipe system. These research results are expected to present design and analysis guidelines for the construction of piping and the development of bellows systems, and to be used as basic data for systematic research.

병원의 구매대행업체 유형별 치료재료 청구가격 비교: 일반척추수술 재료를 중심으로 (Price Analysis of Therapeutic Materials for General Spinal Surgery by the Type of Wholesalers)

  • Background: It is well known that the distribution of therapeutic materials is very complex. However, it is not easy to demonstrate the concrete problems caused by distribution channels empirically. The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in the price of therapeutic materials according to the type of purchasing agency and the way in which medical institutions purchase therapeutic materials. Methods: This study compared the claimed prices and the maximum allowable prices for the items of therapeutic material used for general spinal surgery. Results: Ilsan Hospital, which purchased directly without a purchasing agent, had the lowest claimed prices, followed by a large professional purchasing agency, a foundation-related purchasing agency, and a general purchasing agency. In addition, the difference between the claimed prices and the maximum allowable prices according to the purchase type was larger in the expensive treatment materials, and in the case of the lower price treatment materials, it tended to converge to the maximum allowable prices. Conclusion: National health insurance spending for therapeutic materials are to be affected by the distribution channels of them. We proposed several ideas to rationalize the expenditure such as classification of therapeutic materials on the basis of price or other criteria.

강섬유보강 콘크리트의 지압강도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bearing Strength of Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete)

  • SFRC(Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete) has advantage of crack resistance and ductility failure behavior. But the study which investigated about effect of steel fiber under bearing stress is not to be enough, and it does not be sure of criterion of SFRC for allowable bearing stress formula in internal specification. The purpose of this study is to clear the influence of SFRC on the bearing capacity and ductility of material through static loading test. additionally, arrive an allowable bearing stress formula for SFRC and examine mechanical behaviro by the 3-D finite element analysis.
