A damped sinusoidal electromagnetic pulse generator was designed, fabricated and tested. The pulse generator consisted of an oscillator(a spark gap switch and an initially charged low impedance line) and a high impedance antenna. This generator was capable of producing damped sinusoidal pulses at closure of the spark gap switch. A Marx generator was employed to supply the Pulse generator with high voltage pulses. While the pulse generator was provided with the high voltage pulses of 200kV from the Marx generator, its output power was maximized by controlling the pressure of the gas contained in the spark gap switch. The output power of the damped sinusoidal electromagnetic pulse oscillator was 1.3GW and the amplitude of electric field radiated from the pulse generator was 4kV/m at the range of 25m.

In this paper, the solid state pulsed power modulator developed in KERI, which is based on IGBT technologies are overviewed. During last ten years, several kinds of solid state modulators were developed in KERI such as IGBT stacks with step up transformer, full IGBT stack based marx generator, modified IGBT marx generator and high repetitive solid state modulator. Basic principle of the design is described and each pros and cons are compared. KERI's solid state pulsed power modulators has lot of advantages for industrial pulsed power application focused on everlasting life cycle and high repetitive, and shows superior arching protection ability.

This paper is to scrutinize Jean Rhys' Wide Sargasso Sea through a Marxist criticism. While critics were industriously excavating discourses of feminism, post-colonialism, and racism in the novel, they tended to regard the Marxist attribute as supplementary material and to diminish the significance not considering as an independent subject to be examined. However, the novel, in which all the major relationships are based on capital, exemplifies class conflict between the bourgeois and the proletariat. Marx and Engels believe that the foundation of our society is capital and that society evolves through class conflict to obtain more capital, and thus they assert people's relations are the product of the commodification of individuals. Furthering their study, Louis Althusser specifies the power system through the (repressive) state apparatus and the ideological state apparatus. With the theories of the thinkers' above, this paper analyzes the relationship between Annette and Mason, Antoinette and her nameless husband, allegedly Rochester, Rochester and Amelie, and Rochester and Daniel Cosway. This paper offers an alternative reading of a classical feminist and post-colonial text.

본 논문에서는 HEMP(High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse)와 같은 외부전자파 환경에 노출된 EMP 방호시설에 연결된 전송선로에 유기된 HEMP 위협에 대한 전도성 방호 성능 평가를 위한 E1 펄스에 대해 연구한다. 기존 E1 펄스 발생장치는 Marx Generator 고전압 승압 방식을 사용하지만, 본 연구에서는 광대역 출력전압(30~350 kV) 가변이 용이한 Tesla Transformer 방식을 사용한다. E1 펄스 발생장치의 구성 요소인 제어기, 전원장치, 고전압 승압장치, 펄스성형장치도 각각 분석한다. Tesla Transformer를 이용한 E1 펄스는 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 예측하고, 실제 개발된 장비를 이용하여 결과를 검증한다.

현대사회 이전의 인간은 '인간이란 어떤 존재인가'에 대한 고민이었다. 이런 사고의 시대를 겪은 인간은 자본주의로 존재를 편입시킨다. 카를 마르크스(Karl Heinrich Marx; 1818~1883)는 어떤 직업을 갖고 사는 가를 묻는다. 그 후, 우리는 현대사회를 맞이한다. 현대사회에서 인간은 욕망하는 주체에 대한 숨겨진 존재의 물음을 스스로 자문하게 된다. 숨겨진 존재는 언어에 의해 은폐된 존재이다. 이것을 필자는 언어의 노동으로 진단하고 문제의식을 펼쳐 나갈것이다. 우리는 언어의 주체이면서 언어 노동의 주체이다. 자크 라캉(Jacques Lacan;1901~1981) 정신분석은 언어의 노동에서 벗어나는 주체에 주목하고 있다. 언어의 노동의 남는 자리에는 보이지 않는 윤리가 있다. 본문에서는 언어의 노동에 저항하는 주체에 대해 숨겨진 의미를 밝히고자 한다.

마르크스 철학에 있어서 인격 개념은 '사회적 제 관계를 기반으로 한 활동성'으로 규정될 수 있다. 이 개념을 여성과 남성의 성정체성의 차이 문제에 적용시켜보면 두 가지 중요한 시사점을 얻을 수 있다. 첫째, 인격은 이데올로기에 의해 규정된다. 따라서 프로이드의 오이디푸스 콤플렉스 이론은 가부장제 사회에 있어서 남성 우월주의 이데올로기의 영향력을 무시한 점에서 비판 가능하다. 둘째, 남성과 여성의 활동성(특히 노동)의 차이, 즉 남성의 사회적 노동과 여성의 사적 노동은 남성과 여성의 인격에 결정적 차이를 야기시켰다.

In pulsed-power techniques. Marx generator is generally used for the high-power device. but this generator has insulation and spatial problems. So we will suggest a pulse transformer that has a small size to generate the high voltage pulse instead of Marx generator. In this paper, Pulse duration is 4 [${\mu}s$] and the ratio of input and output voltage is 40[kV]/200[kV](step-up ratio=5). The output voltage and the process of pulse compression for pulse circuit are simulated by EMTP (Electro-Magnetic Transient Program). The secondary voltage of pulse transformer is about 200[kV] and pulse width is 4[t/s]. When the secondary winding of the pulse transformer is saturated. the pulse width is 1.25[${\mu}s$]. We selected dummy load 50[$\Omega$] for impedance matching. The pulse voltage of dummy load is 100[kV] and pulse width is 500[ns].

Marx generator와 진공 다이오드, Bifilar helical wiggler, 인도자장 솔레노이드 등을 이용하여 마이크로파 영역의 자유전자 레이저를 설계 제작하였다. Bifilar helical wiggler의 자장분포를 분석하였고 공간전하의 수직성분 효ㅗ가를 고려하여 계산한 전자궤적 모의실험을 통하여 Wiggler자장이 전자빔 입사에 적합함을 확인하였다. Wiggler자장 300G, 인도자장 4.4kG, 전자빔 에너지 170keV일때 분산방정식에 의하여 계산된 출력 주파수는 약 11GHz였고 실험 결과 나타난 출력 주파수의 점위는 9.78GHz-11.7GHz로 추정되었다. 전자 속도의 축방향 퍼짐을 고려하여 이론적으로 이득을 계산하였다.

To date, one of the prevailing criticisms of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe has seen the adventure novel as a celebration of the rise of mercantile capitalism and the beginnings of colonialism. From this point of view, the Englishman has often been interpreted as an early embodiment of the concept of the sovereign economic subject. Prominent social critics who took up this interpretation have included Karl Marx, Max Weber, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Within literary studies proper, the work of Ian Watt offered perhaps the earliest version of this point of view of the novel. Influenced by both Weber and Rousseau, Ian Watt argued that Defoe's wandering protagonist embodies the rise of economic individualism. More recent criticism has tended to challenge this dominant interpretation by laying greater stress on such countervailing factors as Crusoe's mental uncertainty and inner conflict. Drawing inspiration from Fredric Jameson's diagnosis of the ills of late capitalism, this paper analyzes the ways in which Defoe's hero, rather than championing modern rationality, can in fact be seen as suffering from many forms of emotional psychosis. Robinson Crusoe can, after all, be better viewed as a contradictory multi-layered text that, despite its outward valorization of economic individualism, portrays its hero as a victim of negative capitalistic forces, a hero driven by his desire to possess but haunted by a fear of loss, a hero who flaunts inflated feelings of self-worth even as he reveals deflated notions of material insecurity and mental persecution.

이 논문은 과학기술이 인간 삶의 편리함과 윤택함에 기여하기 보다는 오히려 인간을 억압하고 착취하는 수단으로 전락하는 문제를 다룬다. 이와 관련하여 필자는 노동가치론과 '기술가치론'의 상이한 주장들을 검토하면서 노동과 기술의 문제에 대해 고찰해보고자 한다. 또한 필자는 기술의 '자본주의적' 사용에 대한 마르크스의 비판적 관점을 적극 참고하면서, 특히 마르크스의 상대적 잉여가치 및 특별잉여가치 개념, 자본의 유기적 구성의 고도화에 관한 분석에 주목할 것이다. 그의 견해는 오늘날 기술의 발전이 노동자에 대한 통제 및 업무강도 강화, 고용불안 심화로 초래되는 문제를 설명하는 데 있어서 여전히 유효함을 확인받고 있다. 필자는 자본주도형 기술 개발의 한계를 성찰하는 것이 기술 그 자체의 본래적 이점을 제대로 활용하기 위해서 매우 중요한 일이라고 보며, 기술이 우리 생활에 '실질적인' 풍요로움과 안락함을 가져오도록 하는 데 중요한 몇 가지 사항들을 짚어보고자 한다. 이와 관련하여 핵심적인 것은 노동자를 착취하는 수단이 되지 않고 노동자의 이해관계와 대치되지 않는 기술의 사용가능성일 것이다. 이런 이유에서 필자는 기술의 자본주의적 사용 문제를 근본적으로 해결하는 것은 아니지만 그것의 극단적인 추구와는 다른 방향성을 나타내는 독일의 Industrie 4.0의 전개과정을 주목해볼 필요가 있다고 본다.
