Many companies have endeavored to build a quality cost management system in order to be more productive business organization. This study shows the detail procedures of constructing a quality cost management system which is believed to be appropriate for their business system. That is, the method to calculate the quality cost and the linking logic between the quality improvement and its financial impact are explained based on a particular industry case. In this sense, the changes of business performance measures such as market share, customer satisfaction, etc. were analyzed in the longitudinal perspective for the consecutive 4 years (2003~2006). As the quantitative results of this study, the improvement activities based on the quality cost management system resulted in the 32% reduction of quality cost and the 121% increase of business profit, compared 2005 with 2006. In the qualitative perspective, the successive practice of quality cost reduction and the job information sharing in business unit were obtained by providing the best practices and bench-marking cases. Finally, the customer satisfaction has increased so that the customer-friendly management system has been accomplished. With these efforts, the 3.4% increase of the market share and the 3% increase of the customer satisfaction were obtained in 2005. As the future study, the current study can be extended to the concept of COPQ (cost of poor quality) which focuses on the hidden quality cost of the whole business activities. Such extension of analysis will help us understand the wider role of a quality cost management system in the business.
The purpose of this study is to investigate decision making styles task management of urban homemakers. This study focuses on the following aspects: 1) to find out which variables of background variables (ie. age of couple, education of couple, duration of marriage, income, family life cycle, number of children) have effect on decision making styles & task management of urban homemakers. 2) to find out the relationships between decision making styles and task management of urban homemakers. 3) to find out independent influcene of background variables on task management. major findings are as follows; First, it is general tendency that decision making styles were human oriented in urban homemakers. Importance & Urgency of the task, age of homemakers, education of homemakers, family life cycle were significant variables to have influcence on task oriented decision making styles. Importance & urgency of task were variables to have influences on human oriented decision making styl s. Second, the tendency of dealing with task at once is the highest in the task management, on the other hand, the tendency of dealing with task in the next session is the lowest. Income is a variable to influence on dealing with task in delegation to others, education of homemaker is a variable to influence on dealing with task in next session and importance & urgency of the task and the number of children were variables to influence on dealing with task immediately. Third, human oriented decision marking style was a variable to influence on dealing with task in delegation with task in delegation to others, in the next session, and in suspending/ in neglecting. Task oriented decision making style was a variable to influence on dealing with task immediately. Fourth, The urgency of task & income were variables to have direct influence on dealing with task in delegation with task in next session, and the urgency of the task, age & education of homemaker and family life cycle were varia les to direct influence on dealing with the task immediately. The urgency & importance of the task and age of homemaker were variables to have indirect on dealing with the task urgency of task & the number of children were variables to have indirect influence on dealing with the task in suspending/in neglecting through the medium of the human oriented decision making styles.
The adaptive accounting control system can be regarded as an realistic control system which can adapt itself to uncertain enviromental changes. It has characters that can measure the extend to which we attain our goals and give intelligence, which is essential to planning for the future and for decision making. The budget should present the aim of the compilation of the budget and synthesize the limit through the systematic plan about the utilization of resources, because is a financial plan that is used as estimate of future management operations and as a control of it. If we would like to make good use of this business budget as a tool for planning, we should try to opimize all over the business by relating business operation as far as the effective use of the economic resources in business and the supplying of it are concerned and financial budgets to the responsibility unit center. As this paper is about the budgetary management pattern of marketing based on the adaptive accounting control system, I shall begin with a description of the feature and role of responsible accounting system in management accounting. I shall also deal with the Ex ante accounting system and the Ex post optimum accounting system which are essential to the control stage of business budgeting. And finally, accounting to the control process of adaptive accounting system that fit in with the reality, I shall design a budgetary management pattern of marking section. I wish this paper would be helpful to the activity of budgetary management. A budget is an important step of diverging point. Consequently, when we set up a budgetary pattern based on the adaptive accounting system as far as the control accounting is concerned. I believe that the step of responsible accounting will be a more elaborate and scientific step of management.

As discarded fishing gear settles or floats on the seabed, it destroys the spawning and habitat of fisheries resources that causes various safety accidents and adverse effects on the environment, such as generating microplastics and causing ship accidents. In order to solve this problem, this study is intended to present an implementation plan for establishing a fishing gear deposit system in order to use it as basic data for establishing policies for fishing gear management in Korea. In order to successfully implement the fishing gear deposit system, the deposit system must be established in the form of fishing gear completed at the production stage. It was found that the marking of the object should be easy, and that determining an appropriate deposit amount to motivate the return of waste fishing gear and establishing a convenient return procedure for returned waste fishing gear were important factors. In addition, transparent management of unreturned deposits and mandatory use of fishing gear subject to the deposit system for fishermen will be necessary. The role of a specialized organization to manage and operate all of these procedures is also very important. It is necessary to establish a new mandatory provision in the Fisheries Act to require fishermen who directly use fishing gear to use fishing gear with a deposit refund mark, and to ensure the implementation of the deposit system by linking it with the evaluation items of government policy projects. Since the main purpose of the deposit system is to collect discarded fishing gear, a support plan will be necessary in accordance with the purchase project for fishing waste salvaged by local governments in 2020.
This paper aimed to exam the influence factor of purchasing decision making of industrial buyer and analyzed their effects on success. From the previous studies, we extracted influence factor which are buying center, character of Industrial goods provider. The result showed the difference in the purchasing decision-making process in accordance with the type of buying task(Hypothesis 1). And a test was made the difference in the mode of purchase decision-making(Hypothesis 2). A test was made the difference in supplier's evaluative criterion in accordance with the type of buying task(Hypothesis 3).
Random Early Detection (RED), one of the most well-known Active Queue Management (AQM), has been designed to substitute Tail Drop and is nowadays widely implemented in commercially available routers. RED algorithm provides high throughput and low delay as well as a solution of global synchronization. However RED is sensitive to parameters setting, so the performance of RED, significantly depends on the fixed parameters. To solve this problem, the Adaptive RED (ARED) algorithm is suggested by S. Floyd. But, ARED also uses fixed parameters like target-queue length; it is hard to respond to bursty traffic actively. In this paper, we proposed AQM algorithm based on the variation of current queue length in order to improve adaptability about burst traffic. We measured performance of proposed algorithm through a throughput, marking-drop rate and bias phenomenon. In experimentation, we raised a packet throughput as reduced packet drop rate, and we confirmed to reduce a bias phenomenon about bursty traffic.
The purpose of this study was to present the effective activation of apparel CAD system and for this, the investigation of actual condition of CAD using companies and comparative inspection with the advanced study were carefully considered. The results were as follows : 1. The investigation result of the system using enterprises is that the direct effect from the operation of the CAD system after its introduction was the promptness, ad the indirect effect of it was the growth of operation level and operating reliance. 2. The problem originated from the system was the uncertainty of employer effectiveness and the financing source for it when introduced, and the lack of consciousness of it when operated. 3. The using level in pattern manufacturing function was lower than that in grading and marking. Therefore, as the full automation in CAD system is a part of CIM construction and the direction to which apparel companies should go, a firmly connected system between management & the persons in charge in apparel companies, facility supplying companies, universities & other educational institutes, and the Government should be duly constructed first of all n order to achieve this aim.
Film has been used widely since Auguste and Louis Lumiere hold the first private screening in 1895. Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones directed by George Lucas released on May 16, was the first motion picture both to be shot completely on a high definition digital 24-frame system and to be projected by digital projectors. Its success showed us that the digital cinema era is imminent. Digital Cinema will enable the studios and movie distributors to low the expenses of making and delivering film prints and dissemination of it can put the entire digital cinema ecosystem in great jeopardy. Therefore DRM and other security policies are used for digital cinema content protection. In this paper it will be discussed how the digital cinema platform can package (encooe & encrypt), transport, and project the digital cinema contents safely.
With the rapidly increasing complexity of decision-marking or system development in the fields of industry, management, etc., modelling techniques using simulation has become more highlighted. Particularly, the advent of parallel computer systems not only has opened a new horizon of parallel simulation, but also has greatly contributed to the speed-up of the execution of simulation. The implementation of parallel simulation, however, is not a easy job for those who accustomed to the existing computer systems. And it is also necessarily confronted with the problem of synchronization conflict in the process. Thus, how to allow a wider community of users to gain access to parallel simulation while solving synchronization conflicts has become an important issue in simulation study. As a method to solve these problems, this paper is primarily concerned with the implementation of GPSS which is a generally used simulation language for discrete event simulation, onto a parallel computer using C-LINDA. For that, this paper, is to suggest a model and algorithm and to experiment it using a case.

For an analysis of the performance of a computer system, the minimum cycle time method has been widely used. The minimum cycle time method is a mathematical technique with which we can find the minimum duration time needed to fire all the transitions at least once and coming back to the Initial marking in a timed net. A timed net is a modified version of a Petri net where a transition is associated with a delay time. In the real world, an event is associated with a probability of occurrence. However, a timed net is not equipped with any facility of specifying probability of event occurrence. Therefore, the minimum cycle time method applied on a timed net can easily overlook probabilities of occurrences of events and yield a wrong result. We are proposing 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices' where a transition can be associated with both delay time and a probability of occurrence. We also introduce an algorithm for minimum cycle time analysis on a 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices'. As an example of application, we are performing an analysis of the location based service system using 'Timed Net with Probabilities of Choices'.
