중소·벤처기업의 조직역량이 시장적응역량을 매개로 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Small and Medium-sized Venture Company's Organizational Capability on Corporate Performance through Market Adaptation Capability)

  • 최근 4차 산업혁명을 비롯해 산업의 패러다임의 급속한 변화에 따라 중소·벤처기업의 생존과 지속 가능한 성장은 더욱 어려운 환경에 직면하게 되었는데, 시장에 대한 기업의 적응능력은 더욱 중요하다. 대부분 선행연구 결과는 기업역량은 조직역량을 통해서 경영성과 간에 긍정적인 상호연관성을 확인 하였고, 이들 상호 간에 최적의 조합을 이를 때 최고의 기업성과가 이뤄진다는 것이다. 그런데 조직역량, 시장적응역량, 기업성과에 관계에 대한 연구는 미흡하다. 따라서 매우 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있는 조직역량이 경영성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 이러한 관계에 있어 시장적응역량이 어떠한 역할을 하는지를 파악할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 기존의 조직역량, 시장적응역량에 관련 연구를 고찰하고, 이를 바탕으로 조직역량을 재구성하여 조직역량 및 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 이론적인 연구모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 실증분석 결과에 따라 첫째, 흡수역량은 민첩성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 혁신역량은 유연성에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 혁신역량은 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유연성은 기업성과에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 조직역량과 기업성과간의 유연성의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 따라서 회사의 혁신역량과 유의성이 회사의 성과 향상 시키는게 매우 중요하다. 회사가 외부의 지식과 기술을 빠르게 흡수하여 내부 지식과 통합해 경쟁력 있는 새로운 제품과 기술을 혁신하고 개발할 수 있도록 하는 것이 중요하다. 불확실한 환경에 직면한 회사가 신속하게 대응하고 시간을 단축해 새로운 환경에 적응하면 궁극적으로 회사의 재무 및 비 재무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다.

  • In the manufacturing industries, agility and flexibility are the key issues to meet the various market demands. From this point of view, open architecture control has many advantages. This paper suggests a real-time Linux-based open architecture controller. Linux-based and windows-based controllers are compared in several aspects, and Linux is shown to be advantageous over the windows. With the user friendly GUI, the suggested controller is applied to the X-Y stage which is made of two linear motors. Path following and repeatability performances are successfully observed, which shows the validity of the suggested controller.

  • Tiny camera module using in modern cellular phone requires precise assembly processes. Higher camera resolution and more functions such as zoom lens make the number of camera parts bigger. As market grows rapidly, automatic assembly process is required. However, diverse product line and short life cycle make it difficult. To attack this, a flexible and expandable lens assembly system is proposed. For the fast manufacturing line formation, modular concept is adopted. Also each module is designed to have intelligence to save system formation time. The assembly system is built up on the standard flat-form which provides vibration free base, air and electric supply, controllers, etc. Futhermore, the assembly cell has the capability of handling tiny, thin, or transparent parts which are very difficult to align with vision.

  • Recently, with the rapid growth of information technology, many studies have been performed to implement web-based manufacturing system. Such technologies are expected to meet the need of many manufacturing industries those want to adopt E-manufacturing system for the construction of globalization, agility, digitalization to cope with the rapid changing market requirements. In this research, areal-time web-based machine tool and machining process monitoring system is developed as a first step fur implementing I-manufacturing system. In this system, main spindle motor current and feed current are measured using hall sensors. And the relationship between the cutting force and the spindle motor RMS current at various spindle rotational speed is obtained. Also, a rule-based expert system is developed in order to monitor the machining process effectively. Finally, developed system is applied to real machining process to verify the effectiveness.

Towards Future Mobile Network: Harnessing the Transformative Nature of NFV and SDN

  • Mobile operators today face yet another critical challenge as technology lifecycle becomes increasingly short and also as heterogeneous and complex network becomes exceedingly expensive and difficult to manage. With extremely competitive market and demanding users, the overall revenue structure is expected to get worse. A network architecture based on software-defined networking (SDN) and virtualization techniques gives operators greater opportunity to build cost-effective and efficient alternative to the legacy. In this work we review our Carrier Cloud as a future mobile network infrastructure that exploits both SDN and NFV in order to increase the operator agility, reduce the cost, and even disrupt the vendor landscape. This new architecture will not be fully adopted by the conservative operators at once. Technological hurdles have to be overcome, and a clear understanding of operational differences must be preceded.

  • 한 중 항로는 우리나라와 중국 간 해운협정을 통해 안정적인 해운시장으로 자리매김하고 있으며, 특히 한 중 카페리 운송시장은 이러한 환경에서 세계 최대의 시장으로 성장하였다. 하지만 시장의 급격한 성장은 수급불균형 현상을 발생시킬 가능성이 있고 치열한 경쟁을 야기시킬 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 한 중 카페리 선사의 서비스 요인 중요도를 제시하여 경쟁력 강화를 모색하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 먼저 선행연구 및 델타이법을 통해 한 중 카페리 선사의 서비스 요인을 선정하였다. 다음으로 퍼지분석을 통해 각 요인들의 중요도를 평가하였다. 그 결과 한 중 카페리 선사와 이를 이용하는 화주들은 하역의 신속성, 통관의 신속성, 운송의 정시성을 가장 중요한 요인으로 선정하였다. 반면에 저렴한 운송운임, 운항속도, 내륙 연계운송, 선원 및 육상인력의 전문성에 대해서는 두 집단 간의 중요도 인식에 차이를 보였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서는 화물의 신속한 운송을 위해 한국과 중국 간 통관 문제 및 피견인 트레일러 상호 주행 등의 협력이 조속히 이루어져야 할 것을 시사점으로 제시하였다.

  • 최근 글로벌 시장의 변화를 대표할만한 주요 키워드는 초연결(Hyper-Connection)과 지역적 세계화(Glocalization)으로 요약될 수 있다. 이러한 변화에 대응하고 경쟁 우위를 확보하기 위해서는 서비스 관리를 위한 표준화된 조직, 정책, 프로세스를 구축하는 것이 필요하다. 또한 서비스 관리 시스템은 연구개발 프로젝트 관리를 효과적으로 지원할 수 있어야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 클라우드 컴퓨팅 기술을 이용한 연구개발 프로젝트 관리 프로세스 설계를 위한 적응형 프레임워크와 시스템 구조를 제안한다. 이를 통해 전통적인 서비스 관리 기법이 가지는 한계점을 극복하고 시장의 요구에 빠르게 대응할 수 있을 것이다. 이와 함께 본 연구에서 제안하는 시스템을 통해서 국제 시장에서 경쟁우위를 확보함과 동시에 고객이 원하는 것 이상의 가치를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

업무성과에 영향을 주는 업무용 모바일 어플리케이션의 주요 요인에 관한 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors of Perceived Job Performance in the Context of Enterprise Mobile Applications)

  • The ubiquitous accessibility of information through mobile devices has led to an increased mobility of workers from their fixed workplaces. Market researchers estimate that by 2016, 350 million workers will be using their smartphones for business purposes, and the use of smartphones will offer new business benefits. Enterprises are now adopting mobile technologies for numerous applications to increase their operational efficiency, improve their responsiveness and competitiveness, and cultivate their innovativeness. For these reasons, various organizational aspects concerning "mobile work" have received a great deal of recent attention. Moreover, many CIOs plan to allocate a considerable amount of their budgets mobile work environments. In particular, with the consumerization of information technology, enterprise mobile applications (EMA) have played a significant role in the explosive growth of mobile computing in the workplace, and even in improving sales for firms in this field. EMA can be defined as mobile technologies and role-based applications, as companies design them for specific roles and functions in organizations. Technically, EMA can be defined as business enterprise systems, including critical business functions that enable users to access enterprise systems via wireless mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets. Specifically, EMA enables employees to have greater access to real-time information, and provides them with simple features and functionalities that are easy for them to complete specific tasks. While the impact of EMA on organizational workers' productivity has been given considerable attention in various literatures, relatively little research effort has been made to examine how EMA actually lead to users' job performance. In particular, we have a limited understanding of what the key antecedents are of such an EMA usage outcome. In this paper, we focus on employees' perceived job performance as the outcome of EMA use, which indicates the successful role of EMA with regard to employees' tasks. Thus, to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship among EMA, its environment, and employees' perceived job performance, we develop a comprehensive model that considers the perceived-fit between EMA and employees' tasks, satisfaction on EMA, and the organizational environment. With this model, we try to examine EMA to explain how job performance through EMA is revealed from both the task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA, while also considering the antecedent factors for these constructs. The objectives of this study are to address the following research questions: (1) How can employees successfully manage EMA in order to enhance their perceived job performance? (2) What internal and/or external factors are important antecedents in increasing EMA users' satisfaction on MES and task-technology fit for EMA? (3) What are the impacts of organizational (e.g. organizational agility), and task-related antecedents (e.g., task mobility) on task-technology fit for EMA? (4) What are the impacts of internal (e.g., self-efficacy) and external antecedents (e.g., system reputation) for the habitual use of EMA? Based on a survey from 254 actual employees who use EMA in their workplace across industries, our results indicate that task-technology fit for EMA and satisfaction on EMA are positively associated with job performance. We also identify task mobility, organizational agility, and system accessibility that are found to be positively associated with task-technology fit for EMA. Further, we find that external factor, such as the reputation of EMA, and internal factor, such as self-efficacy for EMA that are found to be positively associated with the satisfaction of EMA. The present findings enable researchers and practitioners to understand the role of EMA, which facilitates organizational workers' efficient work processes, as well as the importance of task-technology fit for EMA. Our model provides a new set of antecedents and consequence variables for a TAM involving mobile applications. The research model also provides empirical evidence that EMA are important mobile services that positively influence individuals' performance. Our findings suggest that perceived organizational agility and task mobility do have a significant influence on task-technology fit for EMA usage through positive beliefs about EMA, that self-efficacy and system reputation can also influence individuals' satisfaction on EMA, and that these factors are important contingent factors for the impact of system satisfaction and perceived job performance. Our findings can help managers gauge the impact of EMA in terms of its contribution to job performance. Our results provide an explanation as to why many firms have recently adopted EMA for efficient business processes and productivity support. Our findings additionally suggest that the cognitive fit between task and technology can be an important requirement for the productivity support of EMA. Further, our study findings can help managers in formulating their strategies and building organizational culture that can affect employees perceived job performance. Managers, thus, can tailor their dependence on EMA as high or low, depending on their task's characteristics, to maximize the job performance in the workplace. Overall, this study strengthens our knowledge regarding the impact of mobile applications in organizational contexts, technology acceptance and the role of task characteristics. To conclude, we hope that our research inspires future studies exploring digital productivity in the workplace and/or taking the role of EMA into account for employee job performance.

의료용 전기기기에 대한 국제표준 현황 (International Standards of Electrical Equipments for Medical Practice)

  • Medical devices separated by a committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission IEC TC (Technical Committee) 62 medical electrical equipment being promoted by the International standards. Actually, a lot of standards were existed, but many national and international standards for medical devices were lacking in practical standards that can be applied to their development. Most international standards were focused in electrical and mechanical safety of medical devices. Therefore, there were few practical standards which contain essential performance evaluation. Although medical device regulations do not enforce a fixed lifecycle model, activities are presented in a sequential manner, thus hinting at a waterfall process. Meanwhile, for a decade or more, software teams have benefitted from agile development methods. Several medical device manufacturers have adopted agile practices while keeping development in compliance with regulations, but conflicts arise and decisions have to be taken in favor of agility or formality. However, if there are new practical standards of medical devices, it must be possible to promote the medical devices industry in their nation. To do this, there is a need to develop a new standard could apply to the international market through the analysis of the medical device related technology. Consequently, new standards such as NP (New proposal) or NWIP (New Work Item Proposal) should be developed through international standardization of medical device technology.

Also, each module is designed to have intelligence to simplify the set-up process.
