The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of couples' conflict coping styles upon wives' marital adaptation. The results are as follows: First, the most often-used conflict coping style was 'compromise', and the least-used was 'smoothing over', in both cases of husbands and wives. Second, significant differences were found in 'compromise', 'integration', and 'smoothing over' between the cases of husbands and wives. For example, wives used 'compromise' and 'integration' more frequently than husbands, but 'smoothing over' was more often used by husbands. Third, the most important variable that influenced wives' stress and marital satisfaction was husbands' conflict coping styles. Their own conflict coping styles and demographic variables came as the next. Fourth, the only conflict coping style of wives that influenced the stress and the marital satisfaction was 'dominance'. On husbands' side, 'compromise (stress and marital satisfaction)' and 'dominance (marital satisfaction)' functioned as important variables.

본 연구는 재혼부부 결혼만족도 향상 프로그램을 개발하기 위한 사전 연구로서, 재혼부부를 대상으로 자기분화, 부부친밀감, 부부갈등대처방식이 결혼만족도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 연구하고자 한다. 설문조사는 서울과 경기도, 충청도, 전라도, 경상도에 살고 있는 30세 이상의 재혼부부를 대상으로 2017년 4월 4일부터 4월 25일까지 이루어졌다. 설문은 총 48부를 배포하였으며, SPSS WIN 21을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 재혼부부의 자기분화수준이 높을수록 부부친밀감의 하위요인인 정서적 친밀감과 성적 친밀감은 결혼만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 부부갈등대처방식인 성격요인은 결혼만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 심층면접결과 낮은 자기분화수준은 결혼만족도와 부부친밀감에 부정적인 영향을 미치고, 부부갈등에 악순환을 초래하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 재혼부부를 위한 결혼만족도 향상 프로그램은 자기분화, 부부친밀감, 부부갈등대처방식을 고려하여 통합 구성하는 것이 가능함을 시사하는 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among emotional expressiveness, marital satisfaction, and stress coping styles of preschool mothers. The subjects for this study were 158 mothers whose children, 4-6 years of age, are enrolled in 5 kindergartens in Gyounsang-do. Mothers completed questionnaires reporting their emotional expressiveness, marital satisfaction, and stress coping styles. Data was analyzed by correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis through SPSS 17.0 The findings of the study are as follows: First, there are significant correlations among emotional expressiveness, marital satisfaction, and stress coping styles of the mothers, respectively. Second, mothers' active coping style is significantly influenced by three factors: negative emotional expressiveness, communication and conflict solving, and positive emotional expressiveness. Third, mothers' passive coping style is significantly influenced by three factors: the expectations of their spouse's role, intimacy, and positive emotional expressiveness. In conclusion, it is necessary to encourage mothers to express their positive or negative emotions actively and improve their marital satisfaction to cope with stress effectively.

본 연구는 배우자 직업 유무가 한국인부부와 국제결혼부부의 결혼만족도에 대한 영향요인과 관련변인인 부부공평성과 부부갈등이 결혼만족도에 미치는 영향을 비교분석하여 행복한 결혼의 지속에 대한 대안을 제시하는 것이 목적이며, 추후 연구에서는 국제결혼한 부부의 경우 한국에서 안정적인 직업을 갖추고 생활할 수 있도록 국제부부를 위한 중장기적인 정책 대안도 연계시켜 구체적인 연구를 진행할 필요가 있다. 연구결과 집단별 배우자 직업유무에 따른 결혼만족도는 국제결혼 부부 여자 집단에서 가장 높게 나타났으며, 본국에 일정액의 송금을 하는 경우 결혼만족도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 부부공평성의 경우 국제결혼부부 여자집단의 평균이 가장 높게 나타남으로 가장 공평치 않음이 나타났으며, 집단별 부부갈등 대처방법은 본인 갈등개입의 경우 국제결혼부부 남자가 가장 높게 나타났다. 본인 순종 점수는 국제결혼부부 여자가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 성역할태도와 의사소통은 성역할 태도의 경우 의사소통에서 집단 간 차이가 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 결혼만족도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 배우자의 직업 유무, 의사소통, 배우자의 갈등개입, 본인의 긍정적 문제해결, 갈등에서 본인후퇴, 배우자 학력, 심리정서 공평성으로 나타났다.
