  • We show the existence of at least four solutions for the perturbed parabolic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition and periodic condition when the nonlinear part cross two eigenvalues of the eigenvalue problem of the Laplace operator with boundary condition. We obtain this result by using the Leray-Schauder degree theory, the finite dimensional reduction method and the geometry of the mapping. The main point is that we restrict ourselves to the real Hilbert space instead of the complex space.

  • This study aimed to explore the themes and parameters of environmental health behaviors based on Rogers' protection motivation theory through a systematic mapping review. Using a systematic approach, a literature review was conducted of articles that adopted Rogers' protection motivation theory. A total of 11 articles on protection motivation theory using participants and environmental health as outcomes were identified in a search of CINAHL, Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Eric, PsycARTICLES, PubMed, and RISS between September 1 and September 8, 2021. Themes related to the environment and personal behaviors between 2002 and 2021 were extracted. The parameters based on protection motivation theory were identified through systematic mapping as fear appraisal, rewards of maladaptive response, severity, vulnerability, costs of adaptive response, response efficacy, self-efficacy, and intention. Self-efficacy and response efficacy considerably affected environmental health behaviors. Emotional fear appeal related to environmental hazards motivates an internal process that alters the threat appraisal and their coping appraisal. Environmental behavior perception and intention influenced on environmental health behaviors with small effect sizes. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the severity of environmental health issues could lead to the development of helpful, effective, and intensive interventions to promote healthcare among the vulnerable population.

  • This study aims to enhance the continuous utilization of community mapping by structurally understanding the intentions behind its ongoing use and the impacts related to it, grounded in prior research. By analyzing existing community mapping cases through literature studies on community mapping, this research identifies the characteristics of community mapping that motivate its sustained use. Moreover, based on the Uses and Gratifications Theory and the Participatory Communication Model (PCM), this study proposes a research model to investigate the factors influencing the intention to continue using community mapping. Unlike previous studies, which primarily focused on developing and applying community mapping processes for case studies, this research not only develops and applies a community mapping process but also aims to apply the findings related to the intention of continued use in future community mapping activity processes for sustained engagement.

  • This paper reviews Grammatical Mapping theory, a recently proposed theoretical paradigm for understanding children's acquisition of syntax, and ventures to apply the theory to the acquisition of semantics. Particularly, we focused on the domain of space, and proposed how children might acquire a unique system of spatial words in their mother tongue. Based on our review of evidence, we propose that there may be universal semantic primitives that serve as foundations of word meanings. We also propose that children must learn their mother tongue's semantic category system of spatial relations, from real time data. Finally, we argue that children's learning of word meanings may involve creation of a theory that makes sense to the child, and that this process of theory creation is possibly guided by universal principles and parameters.

  • The Reidemeister orbit set plays a crucial role in the Nielsen type theory of periodic orbits, much as the Reidemeister set does in Nielsen fixed point theory. Let f : G $\longrightarrow$ G be an endomorphism between the fundamental group of the mapping torus. Extending Jiang and Ferrario's works on Reidemeister sets, we obtain algebraic results such as addition formulae for Reidemeister orbit sets of f relative to Reidemeister sets on suspension groups. In particular, if f is an automorphism, an similar formula for Reidemeister orbit sets of f relative to Reidemeister sets on given groups is also proved.

  • There are many essential elements in making the realistic 3D games, of which one of the most important is mapping. Mapping can add the details to 3D objects easily, which are impossible or difficult by modeling alone, and can reduce file data capacities to run the game engine. The theory of the mapping is to throw 2D image on 3D object correctly, but they do not match each other at the rate of 1:1 100 percent completely due to the difference of the fundamental property of them. To solve this problem, various kinds of mapping methods are developed and used. This paper will compare and analyze the characteristics, and merits and demerits of these various kinds of mapping methods and will inquire which method is the most efficient one.

  • In this paper, we show the Second Main Theorems for zero-order meromorphic mapping of ${\mathbb{C}}^m$ into ${\mathbb{P}}^n({\mathbb{C}})$ intersecting hyperplanes in subgeneral position without truncated multiplicity by considering the p-Casorati determinant with $p{\in}{\mathbb{C}}^m$ instead of its Wronskian determinant. As an application, we give some unicity theorems for meromorphic mapping under the growth condition "order=0". The results obtained include p-shift analogues of the Second Main Theorem of Nevanlinna theory and Picard's theorem.

  • Gas tungsten arc(GTA) welding is used to rrpiar the seat ring in swing type check valve in power plant because of its high weld quality. In order to automate the welding process, it is needed to analyze the process of inside pipe girth welding. In this study, the shapes of weld bead on pipe inside and outside were predicted and its validity was investigated. On the assumption that the welding arc had a bivariate gaussian distribution, analytical solution was derived to predict the temperature distribution in pipe weld using mapping under consideration of physical relationships. The size of weld bean could be predicted from this equation and its accuracy was verified by experiments.

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept, general framework, planning process of bioregion, and bioregional impacts on landscape planning of future and to discuss the application possibility of landscape planning. Bioregionalism is defined in the course of following: knowing the land, learning the lore, developing the potential, liberating the self. Bioregional paradigm was composed of policy system insisted on diversity and decentralization based on region and community, sustainable economy structure focused on conservation and stability, and society structure through cooperation with common consciousness in the community. A general bioregional framework was organized to be able to achieve a sustainable future with interaction for humans being, other living things, and important earth life system. Bioregional mapping should be able to explain three important aspects about how localised and sustainable cultures would exist: to define the external boundaries, to describe forces of energy, and give a hint for th productive capability. In conclusion, according to the result of reviewing the total environmental planning, bioregional paradigm, examples of projects, technique of bioregional mapping, and actions of Nongovernmental Organizations(NGOs). this study is helpful to show an applicability of bioregional planning theory in Korea
