  • The existing self-organizing feature map of Kohonen has weakpoint that need too much input patterns in order to converse into the learning rate and equilibrium state when it trains. Making up for the current weak point, B.Bavarian suggested the method of that distributed the learning rate such as Gaussian function. However, this method has also a disadvantage which can not achieve the right self-organizing. In this paper, we proposed the method of improving the convergence speed and the convergence rate of self-organizing feature map converting the Gaussian function into dynamic approximate curve used in when trains the self-organizing feature map.

  • As the importance of customers has been emphasized, most companies began to operate various CRM strategies to understand and manage customers' needs. The investments that businesses are making are categorized into four areas. The first area of investments is in contact centers and channels to manage the voice of customers. The second area is in loyalty management, target marketing using segmentation, profiling, profitability analysis and targeting. The third one is involved in the measurement of customer satisfaction. The last one is planning to deliver products and services to appropriate customers. Despite the various efforts, it is lowering the efficiency of these investments and interrupting their value creation that these are being operated independently in different departments. All CRM activities of an enterprise should be processed interactively and consistently for a common goal; value creation, to overcome these shortcomings. In this research, we propose CS Road Map that systematizes the four kinds of CRM activities; VOC management, survey activities, loyalty management and planning. Under this road map, these four activities will achieve the improvement of service qualities, customer satisfaction and further value creation. This paper demonstrates the road map that is built for a service industry emphasizing the objectives and strategies of the four categories.

  • As the expansion of metropolis has been going, the role of underground utilities has importantly increased. The existed data is difficulty to acquire accurate data and computerize it. In the construction site, Particularly, the map of existed underground utilities has included so much inaccurate data. This study suggestes that making terrain map and surveying if the position of underground utilities are simultaneously done, also this method improves data accuracy and makes the computerized map such as CAD easy match the map of established underground map. The excution of this study collectes data by surveying of terrain and under ground utilities. Through new data collection, we can plot and acquire the position of real under ground utilities and attribute data about them.

  • Objective : Today, a study about the meridian is at a standstill because there is no any fundamental study to verify an essence of meridian or to take advantage of meridain. It searched the direction of new meridain study by making out road-map about meridain study to overcome the standstill. Method : It has had a through grasp of the problem of meridian study through analysis of papers for degrees and academy journals of study in connection with meridian published till now. It has made out road-map of Meridian study under a principle establishing road-map because of these problems. Results : The major problems of former studies about meridain are as follows. One is not to have any cooperation with other medical fields. The other is not to have any practical study. It searched the direction of new meridian study by road-map detailed as well as overall to overcome the difficulties. Conclusions : The new direction of meridian study is to build ideal methodical frame and modern meridian model through studying of among school systems. It will interpret newly and modernize traditional meridian theory with being connected with science technology.

  • We make DEM of the area that elevation value varies rapidly by the aid. This study evaluates the accuracy and workability between the existing DEM making mathod by processing break line and the DEM absorption method by using the program like ARC TIN or AML. The object data of DEM generation is 1/5,000 digital map publicated by NGII and this study uses 100pieces of map as the criteria. We correct the error by Geoconv and generate DEM by using ARC TIN, ARC VIEW. Accuracy Evaluation accomplished by drawing 100 points from 1/5000 digital map.

  • Slope failures are happen to natural disastrous when they occur in mountainous areas adjoining highways in Korea. The accidents associated with slope failures have increased due to rapid urbanization of mountainous areas. Therefore, Regular maintenance is essential for all slope and conducted to maintain road safety as well as road function. In this study, we take priority of making a database of risk factor of the failure of a slope before assesment and analysis. The purpose of this paper is to recommend a standard of Slope Management Information Sheet(SMIS) like as Hazard Map. The next research, we suggest to pre-estimated model of a road slope using Logistic Regression Model.

  • This study proposes the method to make a map of moving environment area and passed area by sensor using for recognizing environment or avoiding obstacle. We win develop an efficient algorithm to use sensors and get the data by the user friendly system. Through this system, we win study the way to know of the driving environment of moving robot on the long distance point. To this, we use only one ultra-sonic sensor with a servo motor which rotates 180 degree and loads an ultra-sonic sensor. A sensor can measure 1m8m range and a servo motor can distinguish 15 degree by 12 divide of 180 degree. By this feature of operating system, the robot which has these sensor module detects around of area and moves another point. In this way, users gather the data of detecting distance and change the data to X-Y coordinates. And users derive a map from these accumulate data.

  • The subjects of this study are to examine and to apply the methods of making 1:5,000 scale maps using 1m resolution stereo images of IKONOS for the Munsan area of Paju-city where aerial photo surveying cannot possible because of security conditions. GCP(Ground Control Point) were acquired from GPS surveying and were to perform geometric corrections on images. Digital Map used IKONOS stereo images and it worked from the digital analytical stereoplotter. From field investigation, RMSE errors of the plane and vertical positions are estimated to 1.706m and 1.231m, respectively. The plane accuracy is better than an accuracy required by NGIS (national GIS) programs. Local information from field investigation was added and the resulting maps should be good as digital map under the scale of 1/5,000.

  • The GPS satellite system, a satellite system for global positioning, is making itself more and more useful for various kinds of civil application and especially for the automatic car navigation system. A simple map display and matching system can be developed combining the position information from the GPS satellites and the accurate digiral map stored in a digital form. In this paper, the structure and the implementation details of the software half of the system and the testing results of the system are presented.
