농촌지역 혼합건설폐기물의 중·소규모 배출현장용 이동식 분리선별기 개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Mobile Separator and Sorter Development of Small and Medium-sized Discharge Site's Mixed Construction Waste in Rural Area)

  • This study aimed to develop a mobile separating and sorting device for discharge sites to separate and sort mixed construction waste generated in small and medium scale in small provincial cities into inorganic materials and combustible materials. The study results can be summarized as follows: 1) As a result of analyzing the existing domestic technology for the separating and sorting mixed construction waste, a device sorting the waste by fusing the vibration screen, disc screen, air blowing methods and the separating and sorting the combustible waste is applied in Korea. 2) In foreign countries, the air blowing, screen, gravity sorters are used for separating and sorting combustible waste in the same way as in Korea. Especially German T Company suggests a construction waste separating and sorting system using an optical sorter. 3) As for the test device for separating and sorting mixed construction waste to be buried in landfill, the processing capacity was set as 16 tons per day. 4) For separating and sorting inorganic materials by granularity, this study set a trommel with two types of diameter as a basic. To operate the mobile all-in-one system, the device is designed to locate a conveyor, a combustible waste conveying device, inside of the trommel. 5) The device is designed in a mobile mode under the concept of primary separating and sorting device, and it can be transported using a 2.5-ton truck minimum. The diameter and length of the trommel are designed to be within 1500mm and 3000mm, respectively. In a further study, an optimized separating and sorting technology is planned to be presented through an experimental study for processing efficiency analysis at the mixed construction waste site by manufacturing the pilot experiment facility reflecting the design elements in the result of this study.

  • The government announced that it would ask the contractors not only the supplier but also the contractors to take the same responsibilities if they did not observe industrial accident safety measures from 2019. The semiconductor manufacturing process belongs to the representative disaster industry group in which the facility is directly located inside a closed space called clean room. According to previous studies, the semiconductor industry group used checklists for safety management of their suppliers. This study has developed a model for assessing suppliers by constructing a quantitative checklist item through the risk assessment methodology, laws and regulations. The evaluation model of the supplier set up through this study becomes the safety management standard in the semiconductor industry. Furthermore, it is applied to the partner companies in the operation of ISO 14001, 45001, I would like to apply it as a measure of performance management for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

산업단지 개발사업의 환경 영향 및 시공간적 입지 특성변화 분석 (Temporal-spatial Analysis of Environmental Impact and Locational Characteristics for Industrial Complex Projectsin South Korea)

  • 산업단지는 국내 경제성장에 큰 역할을 담당해왔으나, 대단위 면적 개발사업 및 제조업 관련 산업시설의 집적지로서 조성 및 운영 과정에서 다양한 환경문제를 초래하기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 2009년~2019년간 이루어진 국내 산업단지 개발사업에 대한 환경영향평가 결과를 활용하여 산업단지 개발 동향 및 입지 특성의 변화, 산업단지 개발로 야기되는 환경 영향을 파악하였다. 특히 산업단지 개발에 따른 산림 훼손 정도를 분석하였으며, 산업단지와 도심지역과의 인접 정도 및 노출 인구의 변화를 정량적으로 도출하여 이를 통한 입지 특성의 변화를 중점적으로 고찰하였다. 연구대상 기간 내 국내 산업단지의 개발은 지속적인 감소 추세에 있으며, 주요 개발지역은 경기, 경남 및 경북, 충남 및 충북으로 확인되었다. 산업단지 개발로 인한 평균 산림 훼손 면적은 감소 추세에 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 산업단지의 영향권 내 주거시설 및 민감계층 이용시설 분포현황과 노출 인구는 지속적으로 증가하는 것으로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 비교적 장기간에 걸친 국내 산업단지 개발사업에 대한 환경영향평가 결과를 토대로 개발사업으로 인한 환경적 영향을 분석하고 특히, 입지 특성변화를 정량적·시계열적으로 도출하였다는 점에서 의의가 있는 것으로 판단된다.

Incubation of Scenedesmus quadricauda based on food waste compost

  • Food waste causes various economic losses and environmental pollution problems such as soil pollution and groundwater pollution. Food waste has been used as a resource in various forms and has been used mostly for feed and composting. This study compared microalgal nutrient medium (BG-11) with food waste compost to determine the possibility of using it as a culture medium. Scenedesmus quadricauda was isolated and cultured in an eutrophic reservoir and incubated for 3 days in distilled water before laboratory use. Food waste compost was produced in two food waste processing facilities, and hot water was extracted in the laboratory to be used for microalgae cultivation. The growth curve of the microalgae was analyzed based on the Chl-a concentration measured during the experiment, and the growth rate of the microalgae grown in the food waste compost was compared with the growth rate of those grown in the nutrient medium. Food waste compost showed a similar growth rate to that of the nutrient medium, and there was a difference depending on the manufacturing facility. The growth of microalgae in such food waste was further amplified when trace elements were added and showed better growth than that of the nutrient media. Particularly, when trace elements were added, the growth rate increased, and the growth period was further extended. Therefore, food waste compost can be sufficiently utilized as a microalgal culture medium, and if trace elements are added, it is considered that microalgae can be more effectively cultured compared to the existing nutrient medium.

철근 사출 궤적 추적을 위한 시작지점 검출 방법 (Start Point Detection Method for Tracing the Injection Path of Steel Rebars)

  • 최근 제조 공정을 개선하려는 기업들은 스마트 팩토리를 도입, 이에 따른 도약이 특별히 눈에 띈다. 이는 최소한의 수동 제어를 통해 완벽하게 생산시설의 프로세스를 수행하는 스마트 팩토리의 영역을 최대화하고 추론의 오차를 최소화 하는 것이 최종 목적이다. 본 연구는 무인 생산, 관리, 포장, 배송 관리를 위한 프로젝트의 일부로써 무인생산의 자동화 설비의 철근 추적을 통해 롤러의 자동 교정을 수행하기 위해 철근 추적 시작점 검출에 대한 연구이며, 시작지점부터 끝점까지의 위치를 정확히 추적해야 하는 요구사항을 만족해야 한다. 추적성능을 높이기 위해서는 시작점 설정이 주요한데 기존의 시간 기반 검출방법을 통해서는 조도, 분진 등 환경에 따라 추적오류의 발생 확률이 높다. 본 논문에서는 환경에 따른 오차를 줄이기 위해 고속 IR카메라의 평균 밝기 변화를 이용한 시작점 검출 방법을 제안하며, 제안 사항을 통해 15%이상의 성능 향상을 확인하였다.

모바일 디바이스의 원인불명고장에 관한 비용 추정 (Mobile Device NDF(No Defect Found) Cost Estimation)

  • NDF (No Defect Found) is a phenomenon in which defects have been found in the manufacturing, operation and use of a product or facility, but phenomenon of defects is not reproduced in the subsequent investigation system or the cause of the defects cannot be identified. Recently, with the development of the fourth industrial revolution, convergence of hardware and software technologies in various fields is spreading to products such as aircraft, home appliances, and mobile devices, and the number of parts is increasing due to functional convergence. The application of such convergence technologies and the increase in the number of parts are major factors that lead to an increase in NDF phenomena. NDF phenomena have a significant negative impact on cost, reliability, and reliability for both manufacturers, service providers and operators. On the other hand, due to the nature of NDF phenomena such as difficult and intermittent cause identification and ambiguity in judgment, it is common to underestimate the cost of NDF or fail to take appropriate countermeasures in corporate management. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a methodology for estimating NDF costs by the PAF model which is a quality cost analysis model and ABC (Activity Based Costing) technique. The methodology of this study suggests a detailed procedure and the concept to accurately estimate the NDF costs, using ABC analysis, accounting system information, and IT system data. In addition case studies have validated the methodology. We think this could be a valid methodology to refer to when estimating the cost of other parts. And, it is meaningful to provide important judgment information in the decision-making process based on quality management and ultimately reduce NDF costs by visualizing them separately by major variable factors.

국내 중소기업의 스마트공장 구축을 위한 조직역량과 조직성과에 관한 연구 (A Study on Organizational Competence and Organizational Performance for Smart Factory Implementation of Korean Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • Purpose This study examines the roles of firm-level smart factory implementation in the relationship between organizational competence and organizational performance in the context of Korean small and medium Enterprises (SMEs). To achieve this goal, this study presents and empirically tests a research model with evaluation data conducted by industrial experts on how organizational competence can be exploited to positively influence organizational performance through smart factory implementation. Design/methodology/approach Organizational competence are based on the research construct developed by Odważny et al.(2018). Research constructs on smart factory are based on the measurement model developed by Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for Korea small and medium Enterprises (TIPA) (2020) and organizational performance are based on the performance construct developed by Kwon(2019). To complete the investigation, we collected 31 firm data conducted by industrial experts in Korea from Dec 2018 to Dec 2020. Most of firm was implemented officially by government budget granted for smart factory of Korea SMEs. To test our hypotheses, partial least squares (PLS) method was employed. Findings The findings indicate that organizational competence is antecedent to influence smart factory implementation, while smart factory implementation has significant relationship with organizational performance. This study provides a better understanding of the connection between organizational competence and organizational performance through smart factory implementation. So companies should focus on enhancing organizational competence and implementing smart factory to obtain sustainable competitiveness.

Particle loading as a design parameter for composite radiation shielding

  • An evaluation of the radiation shielding performance of high-Z-particle-loaded polylactic acid (PLA) composite materials was pursued. Specimens were produced via fused deposition modeling (FDM) using copper-PLA, steel-PLA, and BaSO4-PLA composite filaments containing 82.7, 75.2, and 44.6 wt% particulate phase contents, respectively, and were tested under broad-band flash x-ray conditions at the Sandia National Laboratories HERMES III facility. The experimental results for the mass attenuation coefficients of the composites were found to be in good agreement with GEANT4 simulations carried out using the same exposure conditions and an atomistic mixture as a model for the composite materials. Further simulation studies, focusing on the Cu-PLA composite system, were used to explore a shield design parameter space (in this case, defined by Cu-particle loading and shield areal density) to assess performance under both high-energy photon and electron fluxes over an incident energy range of 0.5-15 MeV. Based on these results, a method is proposed that can assist in the visualization and isolation of shield parameter coordinate sets that optimize performance under targeted radiation characteristics (type, energy). For electron flux shielding, an empirical relationship was found between areal density (AD), electron energy (E), composition and performance. In cases where ${\frac{E}{AD}}{\geq}2MeV{\bullet}cm{\bullet}g^{-1}$, a shield composed of >85 wt% Cu results in optimal performance. In contrast, a shield composed of <10 wt% Cu is anticipated to perform best against electron irradiation when ${\frac{E}{AD}}<2MeV{\bullet}cm{\bullet}g^{-1}$.

반도체용 특수가스 공급장치 내부에서의 가스누출 원인에 따른 유동해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Flow Analysis according to the Cause of Gas Leakage in the Specialty Gas Supply Device for Semiconductors)

  • 반도체 제조에 사용하는 특수가스를 공급하는 설비는 인화성·독성·부식성을 지닌 유해·위험물질을 주로 취급하는데, 이러한 공급설비로는 주로 가스캐비닛이 사용되고 있다. 가스캐비닛 내 파열판을 통한 누출, 누출 개구부의 확대가 가능한 누출, 누출 개구부가 확대되지 않는 누출의 케이스별로 공급장치 내부 상태 및 외부로의 확산 영향을 누출 원인별로 분석하였다. 이 경우 누출 단면적에 따라 공급장치 외부로 가스가 누출되는 경우가 발생함을 확인하였다. 외부로 누출되는 가스의 농도에 따라 폭발분위기 형성 등 위험성이 존재하는 요인으로 작용하며, 위험에 따라 공급설비의 안전운전절차 등 제반 조치사항을 다시 검토할 필요가 있음을 확인하였다.

지속가능한 디지털 제작 커뮤니티: 한·일간 팹랩 비교를 중심으로 (Sustainable Digital Fabrication Communities: Focusing on the Comparison of Fablabs in Korea and Japan)

  • 팹랩(Fablab)은 디지털 제작 시설을 갖춘 글로벌 네트워크이다. 개방형 혁신 공간인 팹랩은 개인의 자유로운 제조 가능성을 확대하기 위한 실험적 디지털 공방이며, 교육·훈련, 연구개발, 제작을 연결하는 차세대 디지털 인프라로 주목받고 있다. 팹랩은 단순히 자신이 원하는 제품을 만드는 시설로서의 랩(Lab)을 넘어서, 사용자 주도로 커뮤니티에 필요한 제품이나 서비스를 발굴하는 공간으로 발돋움하고 있다. 더 나아가 다양한 시민 주도형 프로젝트를 통해, 지역과 사회를 변화시켜 나가는 혁신의 전진기지 역할을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국과 일본의 팹랩(팹랩 서울, 팹랩 부산, 팹랩 가마쿠라, 팹랩 키타카가야)의 운영 실태를 살펴보고, 각 팹랩이 어떤 목적을 중심으로 팹 시설을 운영하고 있는지, 비즈니스 모델과 지속 가능한 발전 가능성을 탐색한다. 이를 위해, 첫째, 양국의 팹랩 설치 및 이용 실태에 대해 비교·분석한다. 둘째, 양국의 팹랩이 각각 어떤 목적에 중점을 두고 운영되고 있는지 분석한다. 셋째, 양국의 팹랩이 지속가능한 발전을 위해 취하고 있는 비즈니스 모델의 유용성을 린 캔버스를 통해 살펴본다. 양국의 사례 분석을 통해 얻은 성과물을 바탕으로 한국의 팹랩 발전을 위한 제언을 제시하고자 한다.
