상보형 신호경로 방식의 CMOS 이미지 센서 픽셀의 하드웨어 구현 (Hardware implementation of a CMOS image sensor pixel using complemental signal path)

  • In this paper, an analysis of the complementary CMOS active pixel and readout circuit is carried out. Complementary pixel structure which is different from conventional 3TR APS structure consists of photo diode, reset PMOS, several NMOSs and PMOSs sets for complementary signals. Proposed CMOS image sensors pixel has been fabricated using 0.5 standard CMOS process. Measured results show that the output signal range is from 0.8 V to 3.8 V. This output signal range increased 125 % compared to conventional 3TR pixel in the condition of 5 V power supply.

  • To achieve rapid new car developments and cost saving, new approaches for automotive general assembly in manufacturing preparations are needed. In this paper, CAD and DMU technologies for design and evaluation of machines and equipments are discussed. Digital Mock-up based on 3-D CAD models usually apply in the area of concept design and design review. We focus on manufacturing preparations of the machine and equipment. Detail procedures, examples and considerations of DMU are suggested in this paper. By applying DMU in the manufacturing preparations of general assembly, time, cost and quality of engineering can be enhanced through engineering collaboration.

  • Most manufacturing companies participate in various types of active collaboration to enhance competitive advantages in their arenas. In this paper, we introduce a data warehouse system that is designed for manufacturing collaboration. Just as enterprise information systems, collaboration support systems also need functions of performance measurement and monitoring. For this reason, we devise a new approach to measuring and evaluating performance of manufacturing collaboration. Specifically, we first present a concept of process warehouses for manufacturing collaboration. Next, we design a data schema of collaborative process warehouses to store and monitor collaboration performances. Finally, we implement a prototype system to support performance management of manufacturing collaboration. The proposed system can be used to effectively maintain and continuously improve collaboration in manufacturing industry.

국내 제조기업의 JIT생산방식의 도입과 제조성과에 관한 연구 (JIT Production System of Domestic Manufacturers and It's Impact on Manufacturing Performance)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose guidelines for introducing the Just-In-Time (JIT) production system to enhance the competitiveness of Korean manufacturing companies. This study employed an extensive survey on the use of the JIT production systems among different korean manufacturing companies to understand the current status of the JIT production system in use and to identify the benefits from implementing JIT production system. The survey has covered 170 manufacturing companies of different sizes from various sectors of Korean industries including electronics, automobiles, machineries, and textiles. In conclusion, our research results support that the JIT production system would contribute to increase the manufacturing performances of Korean manufacturing companies through lower inventory level and increased quality level.

  • This paper is an investigation of comparative and contrasting characteristics of service in manufacturing sector - especially quality aspects. A review of both service and manufacturing industries' systems literature revealed conflicting views on defining two different industries and its system assessment. While some researchers have documented the value of service IS implementations on both industries, there are others who feel that such implementations are not appropriate for all situations or all organizations. Because of IS implementations and IT improvement, defining service and manufacturing is blur than ever. There is a dearth of literature on the assessment of service systems in service and manufacturing industries due to blurred and controversial argument.

양극산화 시간 및 전류밀도 변화에 따른 다공질 실리콘의 특성 변화 (Effects of Current Density and Anodization Time on the Properties of Porous Si)

  • The PS(porous Si) were fabricated with different anodization time and current density. The structural and optical properties of PS were investigated by SEM(scanning electron microscopy), AFM(atomic force microscopy), and PL(photoluminescence). It is found that the pore size and surface roughness of PS are proportional to the current density. The PL spectra show that the PL peak position is red-shifted with increasing anodization time. This behavior corresponds to the change of pore size which is consistent with the quantum confinement model. The FWHM(full width at half maximum) of PL peak is decreased from 97 to 51 nm and the PL peak position is blue-shifted with increasing current density up to 10 mA/$cm^2$. The PL peak intensity of the PS fabricated under 1 mA/$cm^2$ is the highest among samples.

  • Manufacturing systems are becoming intelligent, decentralized, autonomous, which is so called as Intelligent Manufacturing Systems(IMS). In this paper, a method for efficient resource management in Holonic Manufacturing System which is one alternative of IMS, was developed. The developed method was evaluated with the current possible method and the results are shown.
