승용차 동력전달계에 대한 클러치 디스크 특성의 영향 고찰 (An Investigation on the Effects of Clutch Disk Characteristics for a Passenger Car Driveline)

  • The clutch with torsional damper is installed on a passenger car with manual transmission, which not only transmits the power generated by engine to the transmission but also absorbs the shock and vibration from the engine. The torsional damper in the clutch dissipates the torsional vibration energy and eliminates the resonance in the driveline but high damping in the damper causes the increase of the vibration level which is against the comfort and durability. In this study, a dynamic model for the passenger car driveline with manual transmission was developed to investigate the vibration and the effects of characteristics of the driveline. With the dynamic model, the vibration characteristics of driveline were examined by the mode analysis and driving simulation, and the effects of hysteresis torque and spring constant were investigated. The vehicle tests with prototype torsional dampers were preformed and the test results showed good agreements with the simulation.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the development processes of the assembly line tester of power transmission for lift truck. Because power transmission is most important part of lift truck, all assembled powertrain parts must be inspected for operational defects, pressures and RPM. Developed assembly line tester is designed to take about 25 minutes for inspecting each assembled power transmission and located it at the end of assembled line. The assembly line no-load tester consists of three parts: (1) the driving hardware part; for installing and operating the transmission. (2) control PCB part; send data from sensors to a computer and control driving part, (3) operation software of no-load tester; for an automatic inspection or manual inspection, for database management and printing transcripts.

  • 자동차 수동변속기 내 래틀과 같은 회전체 진동은 엔진 연소폭발 주기와 연동하여 발생한다. 이러한 충격형 진동 특성은 선형 시간 불변 분석법을 적용하여 살펴볼 수 있다. 기어의 동적 특성을 이해하기 위해, 특정 형태의 앞 바퀴 굴림 방식 수동 변속기에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 첫째, 동특성 고유값과 주파수 응답함수를 기반으로 자유도를 줄이는 방법을 제시하였는데, 이는 행렬의 크기를 줄이는 효과적인 역할을 한다. 둘째, 단일 질량 플라이휠과 이중 질량 플라이휠의 동적 특성을 비교하였다. 모빌리티 분석을 기반으로 한 이중 질량 플라이휠의 효과를 검토하였는데, 이로부터 진동에 의해 가진되는 충격을 회피하기 위한 기본 개념을 이해 할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 두 단계 클러치 댐퍼로부터 유효 강성 값을 도출하여 선형 불변형 시스템 모델을 연구하였다. 두 단계의 서로 다른 클러치 강성조합을 이용하여 클러치 댐퍼의 동적특성에 대한 관계를 예측할 수 있다.

봉 추나요법의 개요 (Introduction of Bong Chuna Manual Therapy)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to introduce the Chuna Manual Therapy (CMT) using Bong (a type of stick which is called 'bong') as a part of Oriental Medicine. Methods : We searched several traditional methods of CMT using Bong, either individual contact to specialist of CMT using Bong or referred to publications, and summarized briefly for introduction. Authors also made a comparative study between existing CMT and CMT using the bong. Results & Conclusions : The indications of Bong CMT are regarded as acute or chronic pain syndrome, whiplash associated disorders, facet syndrome, vertebral misalignment, chronic fatigue syndrome, obesity and also lower extremity length difference caused by malalignment of vertebrae and pelvic bone. The Meridian Muscle Therapy by pressing down using the Bong can be carried out on the imbalances of the muscle by shortening and lengthening contraction. CMT with Bong is considered more effective than other existing CMT in terms of effectiveness. In the case of pelvic correction which needs a tremendous amount of force, it can reduce the force required effectively. This fact can be inferred by the theory of composition and decomposition of force during the transmission of power. We can perform Bong CMT feeling less fatigued subsequently than general CMT. Pressing down with flexed fingers to grip bong acts on the contraction of flexor digiti and extensor digiti muscle, this protects the $doctor^{\circ}{\emptyset}s$ wrist joints from injury. The bong which acts as a tool between the doctor and the patient, while being given treatment, absorbs and spreads out the direct impact from the patient to the doctor. CMT with Bong is able to apply to both existing massage therapies with the hand. The bong appliance can be used in all applications, particularly, but not limited to; Orthopedic and Manual Correction Therapy, Meridian Muscle Pressing, Exercise Therapy, and Meridian Point Manual Pressing Therapy. CMT with Bong belongs to the category of oriental rehabilitation and Chuna manual medicine.

  • A driver's feelings of transmission serve as a basis to judge not only the transmission but also the entire automobile that he or she drives. The importance of transmission feelings is increasing daily because of driver's desire for increased torque and other improved functions. In order to accommodate such desire of drivers, new friction materials have been developed. The study in this report compared the affects of such materials and the force for transmission theoretically and empirically. By doing so, the study attempted to establish basic references for computation of capacity and other factors to be determined at the time of design of synchronizer system.

  • With the growing traffic density and increasing comfort requirements, the automation of the drive train will gain importance in vehicles. The automatic clutch actuation relieves the drivers especially in urban driving and stop-and-go traffic conditions. In this paper, an electro-mechanical actuator for clutch-by-wire (CBW) system is implemented as the first stage for the development of automated manual transmissions. The prototype of CBW actuator is designed systematically, which is composed of the electric motor, worm & worm wheel and crank mechanism. And the test rig is developed to perform the basic function test for the automatic clutch actuation. The developed prototype is validated by the experimental results on the test rig.

  • 현재, 송전선등 전력케이블의 가설작업은 딥 측정으로 크레인에 의해 수작업에 의해 행해지고 있지만 안전과 효율적인 작업을 위해 가설작업의 자동화 시스템이 필요하다. 이러한 필요에 대하여 본 논문의 목적은 송전선 케이블의 가설을 위한 자동화 시스템의 개발이다. 본 논문은 현수형 송전 케이블과 장력발생 교류 서보전동기의 모델을 나타내고 송전케이블의 딥을 일정히 유지하기 위한 장력을 계산하는 알고리즘을 나타내었다. 현수형 송전선 특성에 기초하여 로드셀을 이용한 장력측정에 의해 송전선 가설 시스템의 구성법이 제안되었다. 가설시스템은 장력 발생장치에 교류서보 전동기를 이용하고 케이블의 장력계측 장치는 하중변환기(load cell)를 사용한다.

  • 자동차 산업의 발전에 따라 보다 편리한 기능의 자동차 부품 기술 개발이 꾸준히 진행되어 왔으나, 운송 수단 발명 초기에 개발되었던 수동 클러치 방식은 수많은 연구와 개발자들의 노력에도 불구하고 아직 오토미션 수준의 초기 단계에 머물러 있다고 볼 수 있다. 종래의 오토 미션은 클러치 디스크의 슬립을 기초로 한 소형차량 및 개인용 RV 차량 위주로 사용되고 있으나, 본 연구 기술은 대형 차량부터 소형 승용차 및 농기계, 선박 등 클러치를 조작하는 모든 수송 기계에 적용이 가능한 혁신적인 기술이다. 차량의 운전 조건에 따라 달라지는 엔진의 출력 값에 따라, 클러치 디스크의 접속 시점을 정확히 결정하고 수동 변속기의 경우 빈번히 나타나는 반 클러치 상태를 적용하기 위하여, 클러치 디스크의 접속 시점을 결정하는 기준이 되는 데이터로 엔진(Engine)의 회전수(rpm)를 적용한다. 상승하는 엔진 회전수에 해당하는 값 만큼만 클러치 디스크를 이동, 접속시켜 차량의 동력을 원활하게 전달할 수 있는 자동차용 전자식 클러치 모듈을 연구하였다.

  • Recently, most vehicles has the Automatic transmission system as their transmission system. The automatic transmission system operates with fixed shift patterns. In the opposite of manual operation, it is easy and convenient for driving. Though these merit, the system can not evaluate the driver's intension because of usage of firmed shift pattern. Especially, when the load has declination the AT system must operate for engine break effect. Namely, if the vehicle drives on the load of decrease, the acceleration of the vehicle goes to high then. At that time, the shift goes to down position the vehicle has some negative acceleration with the resistance of engine. To consider driver's intension in this case, we must consider both the driving intensity of driver and the status of load. In this paper, we developed flexible automatic transmission system by using the proposed moduled neural networks which can learn the status of the load and driver's intensity As a result, we compare the transmission system using firmed shift pattern and the proposed transmission system and show the good performance in the change of shift position.
