This paper examined the dynamic instability of a shallow arch according to the response characteristics when nearing critical loads. The frequency changing feathers of the time-domain increasing the loads are analyzed using Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT), while the response signal around the critical loads are analyzed using Hilbert-Huang Transformation (HHT). This study reveals that the models with an arch shape of h = 3 or higher exhibit buckling, which is very sensitive to the asymmetric initial conditions. Also, the critical buckling load increases as the shape increases, with its feather varying depending on the asymmetric initial conditions. Decomposition results show the decrease in predominant frequency before the threshold as the load increases, and the predominant period doubles at the critical level. In the vicinity of the critical level, sections rapidly manifest the displacement increase, with the changes in Instantaneous Frequency (IF) and Instant Energy (IE) becoming apparent.

Soluble proteins of silkworm hemolymph were investigated by means of isoelectric focusing (IEF). The protein spectra during ontogenesis of races and inter-races hybrids kept in Bulgaria was studied. A total of 51 protein bands in the hemolymph from fourth larval instar to imago were ascertained. Stage specific expression was established. The specific expression of some protein bands in the individual spectra manifest phenotype of gene determinate polymorphism (HP F, HP J, HP K, HP L, HP Q - in the zone with pH gradient 3.5-6.2 and HP K, HP L, HP N, HP P, HP T - in the zone with pH gradient 9.5 - 6.2). Breed specific expression was observed. On the basis of the obtained results, it was established that the investigated breeds are heterogeneous and the isoelectric focusing method is successful when specifying the inner-race and inter-race polymorphism in silkworm.

The V2F turbulence model, which has shown very good performance in several test cases at low speeds, has been applied to supersonic ramp flow with 20. corner angle at the free stream Mach number of 2.79. The flow is known to manifest strong shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interactions. As a comparative study, low-Reynolds k-ε models are also considered. While the V2F model predicts wall-pressure distribution well, it relatively predicts larger separation bubble and higher skin-friction after the reattachment than the experimental data. Although the ellpticity of f equation is the characteristics of incompressible flows, the converged solutions are acquired in the compressible flow with shock waves. The effect of the realizability constraints used in the model is also examined. In contrast to the result of impinging jet flows, the realizability bounds proposed by Durbin deterioate the overall solutions of the supersonic ramp flow.

We report an unusual case of lupus flare induced by intravenous vancomycin in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus. Due to methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus in wound culture, intravenous vancomycin was administered to the patient. The patient had been on vancomycin for several days then she experienced fever, malar rash, and vomiting. Based on laboratory results, it was confirmed as lupus flare. Oral prednisolone was given to the patient for symptom control. However, when vancomycin was readministered, the patient had similar symptom to the previous one more intensively. Vancomycin was stopped then the patient became stable. This case report demonstrates that intravenous vancomycin may manifest as lupus flare in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.

The purposes of this study were to develop self- growth program for children and to testify the effect of the program. For these purposes self- growth program for children was developed and then 83 5th grade children in elementary school were tested with interpersonal strategies scales and school adjustment scales. Out of 83 children, 20 children with lower grades became subjects. They are retested after completing the program. The methods for data analyses included t-test and 2×2 two - way ANOVA The children's interpersonal strategies and school adjustment scores increased after participation in the program. Sex difference didn't manifest.

Various dental procedures, such as injection administration, surgical treatment, and endodontic treatment, can cause injury to the nerves. The most commonly injured nerves are the inferior alveolar and lingual nerves. This can manifest as altered sensation to the area of innervation of the injured nerve, such as the lower lip, chin, teeth, tongue, and mucosa. Altered sensations or loss of sensation are relatively infrequent complications in daily dental practice. Here, we report an uncommon case of altered sensation in the midfacial region caused by an endodontic procedure and discuss the need to consider local dental causes in the differential diagnosis of numbness in the facial region.

본 논문은 MIDP에뮬레이터를 이용한 미들랫슈트의 전 개발 과정을 소개함으로써 개발 툴 독립적인 모바일프로그램의 개발과정을 이해하고 미들랫, Manifest, JAR, JAB, 미들랫 슈트의 각 단계별 개발 스트림의 사례를 예시함으로써 DOS환경에서의 미드랫 슈트의 개발과정을 완전히 숙지하여 NetBeans 모빌리티팩이나 Eclipse와 같은 통합개발환경이나 자바 Wireless Toolkit과 같은 프로젝트형 개발환경에서 자바모바일프로그램의 개발을 보다 용이하게 이해하고자 함에 그 목적이 있다. 최근 자바 모바일프로그램의 개발과 관련된 연구와 문헌들이 많이 제공되고 있으나 기존의 연구들과는 달리 본 논문에서는 미들랫슈트의 개발스트립을 각 단계별로 구현하였음에 의의가 있다고 하겠다.

ICT(information and communication technology) has played a pivotal role in the world economy, and the out look for ICT has improved markedly. One of the noticeable characteristics in the ICT sector Is the global rationalization of its technology and service. Specialization on the specific ICT capability is a pressing problem for many countries. Along the line of classical innovation cluster and network studies, this paper suggests a way to find and analyze the role of core technologies on the ICT network First, technology network is constructed by using patent citation data from USPTO. Then, a couple of cluster is generated by K-means clustering technique. Finally, brokerage analysis is applied to manifest the role of principal technologies. The network visualization and some stylized facts on dynamics are briefly given altogether Based on the role and relationship of technologies across clusters, it is expected that this research could contribute to the ICT cluster formation and the vision-making for ICT specialization at the viewpoint of technology Policy.

A review is presented for various gas transport mechanisms through microporous membranes of both polymeric and inorganic materials. Different transport modes manifest depending on the pore size and the flow regime, which is a function of pressure, temperature, and the interaction between gas molecules and the pore walls. For microporous membranes whose pores are small and the internal surface area huge, the surface diffusion becomes a significant factor. If the pores become even smaller, then the transport mechanism will be more of an activated diffusion type. When conditions are right capillary condensation will take place to create an enormous capillary pressure gradient, which will greatly enhance the permeation flux. At the same time the capillary condensate of the heavier component may block the membrane pores denying the passage of the lighter gas molecules. All of these phenomena will influence the separation of mixtures.

This study explores the relations between mathematics and the natural human language. At the very outset, a general definition of language was, given while it was attempted to make some comparisons between the words of natural language and mathematical symbols at that. Besides, the occupation of natural language functions within mathematics was handled. Consequently, it was tried to manifest that the language of mathematics enjoys the features of natural language as well. Mathematics makes use of many functional and structural features. The fact that fundamental ingredient of mathematics is symbols does not change this reality.
