In order to analyze proposed model, this study collected the 233 franchisees with owner or hired manager. The data were analyzed with SPSS/PC 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. First, to test unidimensionality and nomological validity of the measures of each construct we employed a scale refinement procedure. The result of reliability test with confirmatory factor analysis warranted unidimensionality of the measures for each construct. The findings are as follows: First, relationship-oriented efforts had positive effects on relationship quality (satisfaction, trust, and commitment) of franchisee. Second, satisfaction had positive effect on trust, but did not on recontract intentions. Third, trust had positive effects on commitment and recontract intentions, respectively. Finally, commitment had a positive effect on recontract intentions. At the end of this paper, managerial implications and limitations and future research directions were suggested.

  • The main purpose of this study is to highlight the effects of the Bolman and Deal's multi-frame leadership on the several dependent variables such as job satisfaction, respect from subordinates, effective goal attainment, promotion speed, and recognition as more a leader than a manager. To attain this purpose, 488 questionnaires verified to be free from flaws were processed through SPSS 14 Windows. The major finding was that versatile and adroit use of multiple frames can contribute to the effectiveness and success of the leader. That is, the multi-frame leadership had strong relationships with dependent variables such as trust and respects from subordinates, effective attainment of unit's goal, job satisfaction, recognition as more a real leader than as a manager, and promotion speed of boss. When we consider the ever-increasing environmental complexity surrounding every organization and the growing levels of needs of employees, the use of multi-frame leadership is not an 'ought' but a 'must' for all the people who aspire to become effective and successful leaders.

  • A dominant idea is that because virtual members trust one another less than do the non-virtual and therefore the traditional face-to face teams are better than the virtual, the virtual team can be organized to cope with the inevitable, restrictive situation in which they cannot organize a team with face-to-face meetings. However, we believe that even if a manager coping with a certain problem can organize a face-to-face team (evitable situation), there might be some areas or cases in which organizing a virtual team is better than organizing a face-to-face team. This paper suggests it is important for practical managers to identify when(for which situations) the virtual teams are most suitable and can be successful without losing trust.

  • ITS(Intelligent Transport System) as things are used for Broadcast service using TDMB/TPEG/NAVI rather than personal seamless service. It is attaching weight to Traffic information gathering, Charging, Settlement service. This research is applied to improve DCCP(Datagram Congestion Control Protocol) which has function as protecting data and preserving message boundary. The improving method is like that we solve data trust in UDP because Connection and Transmission overhead in UDP is less than in TCP. We fix the data loss which is generated from unordered delivery section of IP base wireless service by using DCCP protocol. We guarantee of connection with OBE(On-Board Equipment) and reliance about transmission of data by complement to mapping table and multi-hoping. Finally, We evaluate the performance about transmission of IP based data. We constructed a test-bed near research center for this test.

  • In related to mobile communication environment, many researchers have studied problems concerning current locations of mobile users and exposure of their movements in the privacy aspect so far [1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9]. Among them, Kesdogan and Pfitzmann [3,6] proposed effective solutions using temporary pseudonym identification, called TP(Temporary Pseudonym ) to solve them. After that, Kesdogan et al. proposed an improved method protecting mobile users from some types of attacks of network providers in [8]. However, among their methods, in particular the method, attaching the other new device (so-called Reachability Manager) to system against active attack of network providers, is alterative rather than practical and is not clear. Moreover, it requires the other cost and overhead. Therefore we propose a practical method against active attack of network providers without attaching new device in original environments. The basie idea of proposed method is to protect a fraud act of network provider as a inside user by exchanging a secret information, which only users and network providers know, via network provider between mobile user and the trusted third party (so-called Trust Device). Moreover, we introduce a new payment protocol which applied our method.
