In this paper, we have defined and designed the structure of standardized XML content for supplying efficient e-Learning contents. We have also implemented the prototype of XML contents generator to create the educational contents easily. In addition, we have suggested the contents searching method using Case Base Reasoning and Bayesian belief network to supply XML contents suitable to learners request. The existing e-Learning system based on HTML could not customize and standardize, but XML contents can be reused and made an intelligent learning by supplying an adaptive content according to learners level. For evaluating the efficiency of designed XML content, we make the standard XML content for learning JAVA program in e-Learning system as well as discussing about the integrity and expanding the educational content. Finally, we have shown the architecture and effectiveness of the knowledge-based XML contents retrieval manager.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of self-efficacy and empowerment on perceived organizational support and organizational citizenship behavior of nurses. Method: The subjects of this study were 327 nurses who were working at seven hospitals. The data were collected by structured questionnaire from Feb. 12 to Mar. 5 of 2006. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and Stepwise multiple regression on SPSS/PC 12.0 program. Results: The mean score of self-efficacy was 3.75, empowerment was 3.68, perceived organizational support(POS) was 2.87, and organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) was 3.64. The POS had statistically significant differences according to position(F=3.207, p=.013). The self-efficacy and empowerment were positively correlated with POS and OCB. The self-efficacy(7.0%), meaning(8.5%), competency(12.4%), self-determination(1.9%), and impact(4.8%) explained 34.6% of the variance for POS. The self-efficacy(17.1%), meaning(1.0%), competency(2.8%), self-determination(3.2%), and impact(13.2%) explained 37.3% of the variance for OCB. Conclusion: The findings showed that self-efficacy and empowerment were important factors for enhancing POS and OCB in nursing organization. Therefore, the nurse manager must establish the strategies to improve the self-efficacy and empowerment of the nurses in order to promote the POS and OCB.

In order to develop the computerized information system of occupational health management at worksite, we surveyed actual states of computer use at worksites. We used a self-administrative questionnaire to the members of Korean Association of Occupational Health Nursing(KAOHN) from July 4 to August 21 in 1997. Among the members of KAOHN, 147 members answered. The worksites where they were employed were very diverse in aspect of jobs, locations, and size. Occupational health computerized system was used at 30(20.4%) worksites among 147 respondants. When they first introduced the computerized system the most difficult problem was the lack of support of manager. The programs that they have used mainly consist of drug management, health examination management, disease management, but the program of worksite environment management have been rarely used. Most users felt that the computerized system was effective, but there were problems in connection within programs. Many worksites have plans to take or expand the computerized information system within several years. It is necessary to develop the effective and integrated occupational health computerized system.
Purpose: To provide the data of health manager education program in order to improve the quality of work-sites health management with qualification based job analysis of health managers (Occupational Health Nursing, Industrial Hygienist, Environmental Engineer). Methods: A descriptive research on 132 health managers using IPA and SPSS/WIN. Results: The overall average of importance of health management job was 8.0 (10 being the maximum score). Nurses had significantly higher score in the level of importance per areas and health management jobs. The overall average of performance of health management job was 6.7 (10 being the maximum score). Nurses had higher score in the area of health management. IPA matrix distributions per health management job area showed the correlations in qualification backgrounds and all of 3 main areas. Conclusion: There was difference in the level of importance and performance on health management jobs based on the qualification backgrounds of health managers. To improve the health of workers, an integrated health management must be provided. And to provide this, it is necessary to offer the additional education to health managers with an institutional complementary plan.
Background: Cancer is a primary source of concern in Thailand and other countries around the world, including the Asian-Pacific region. Evidence supports that an important contributing cause of cancer and other chronic illnesses such as stroke, diabetes, and hypertension is excessive alcohol consumption. Studies conducted in Thailand reveal a worrisome rise in the number of new and regular drinkers in communities. Therefore, actions for primary, secondary and tertiary prevention of problem drinking are necessary. In recent years nurses in North East Thailand have been developing and implementing the Khon Kaen Family Health Nursing model to embed disease prevention in communities through the actions of family health nurses and local family health leaders. Aim: The aim of this qualitative research was to better understand the experiences of the local family health leaders using this model and to synthesize lessons learned. Materials and Methods: As part of a participatory action research approach involving analysis of focus group discussions and individual interviews, the experiences of 45 family health leaders were synthesized. Results: Four main themes were identified, namely: i) Family first: role modeling beginning at the personal and family level. ii) Local leverage: using village community forums to reduce alcohol drinking. iii) Gentle growth: making the first step and treading gently; and iv) Respect, Redemption, Rehabilitation: valuing the person to re-integrate them in the village society. Conclusions: As alcohol consumption in the village declined significantly following the prevention program, these findings illuminate how low-tech integrated prevention approaches may be very useful, particularly in rural communities. The lessons learned may have relevance not only in Thailand but in other countries seeking to prevent and mitigate behavior that conduces to diseases such as cancer.
The purpose of this study is to find out the influence on Organizational Performance of Autonomy in Cadastral Employees. The survey was conducted around the branch Korea Cadastral Survey Corporation. Using SPSS 20.0 and Amos 19.0, Structural Equating model was verified. The results of the analysis and the proposal is as follows. First, autonomy not directly but indirectly affected job satisfaction and organizational commitment. This had a positive impact on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, autonomy existing research. But it was not the organization's performance by increasing the autonomy to higher study. Perhaps it is analyzed the results of the public sector. Second, the relationship between autonomy and organizational performance in leadership had a mediating effect. And increase organizational performance factors, leadership has a very important meaning. Public good is not guaranteed autonomy. Therefore, it is possible to compensate through leadership. Third, cadastral field manager leadership competencies, it is necessary to develop a training program to enhance the organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

During road construction, minimizing haul and return distances as well as keeping a balance between cut and fill quantities are two of the key tasks for earthmoving operation planning. The result of the earthwork planning has a significant impact on the construction cost and duration. Although there have been research efforts regarding optimized earthwork planning using linear programming, the current practice of selecting earthwork planning methods typically depends on a field manager's intuitive and/or experimental knowledge. Furthermore, there is no system considering earthwork influential field factors including the transportation distance, the earthwork quantity, and the recycling ratio of earth volume. Therefore, this research focuses on the development of such a model for planning the optimized earthwork to increase the efficiency of a road construction. The proposed model is developed based upon the transportation problem method which is a part of Linear Programming. The application result of optimization model on a case study shows that the duration and cost for earthwork ha sbeen reduced approximately 19% and 11% respectively
The study aimed to investigate the influence of perceived patient safety culture on patient safety management activity in the dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was completed by 292 dental hygienists in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggido from March 1 to April 8, 2016. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects (9 items), patient safety culture (44 items), and patient safety management activity (25 items) by Likert 5 point scale. Data were analyzed by t test, one way ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression test, and post-hoc Tukey test using SPSS 18.0 program. Results: The perceived patient safety culture was 3.50 on average. Entire organization was the highest score (3.68) and followed the communication process (3.55), the environment of work unit (3.47), the attitude of supervisor/manager (3.45), and the frequency of events reported (2.98). The average of patient safety management activity was 3.71. As for the factors of patient safety culture on patient safety management activity, communication process was the most influential factor (${\beta}=0.268$), and followed the entire organization (${\beta}=0.265$), the environment of work unit (${\beta} =0.166$), the frequency of events reported (${\beta}=0.104$), and among the control variables. Work place proved to be the only significant variable. Conclusions: In order to promote patient safety management activity of dental institutions, the patient safety culture should be created and established. The influence of communication process and patient safety culture at entire organization level was huge. So the environment of work unit and the perceived patient safety culture in the process of reported events were influencing factors. The strategy for patient safety management activity should be considered because of low level of perceived patient safety culture.
This study was conducted to identify the problems related to operation of the committee system in university hospitals and to propose the direction for reforming it. Data were collected by surveying 138 working-level administration managers of committees from 12 university hospitals in Seoul in October, 1995. The results were as follows: 1. The purposes of the committee were to promote the reasonable dicision making in the hospitals, to satisfy the requirement of Hospital Accreditation Program and, to execute the administrational instructions in due order. The sort of job which was charged of chairmen and the majority of committee member was doctor. 2. The committees which were to be held the meeting frequently in a year were general management committees(8.25 times/year). But in case of operation rate, medical care-related committees showed the most frequent meeting(90.15%). Most of committees made the regulations and reported the results of their meeting to the CEO of their hospitals by written documents. 3. Most doctors thought the medical care-related committees useful. Medical technicians regarded education and research-related committees as useful, while administrators favored the general management committees. 4. The factors related to the perceived performance of the committee were the kind of job, the class of job and the kind of committee. Also, the perceived performance of the committee was positively related to the usefulness in efficient management of work, and negatively to uncertainties in responsibility and a nominal role of the committee. 5. Most of the respondnts thought that the concern of the top manager about the committee was the most important factor for the improvement of committee system at hospitals. They also regarded that formalization of the objectives and regulation rule and composition of committees with members which work in various fields as essential. Further studies on the organizational and operational cjharacteristics which include general hospitals in various areas are required.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of organizational culture types of hospital and nursing experience on organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses that examined the fitness of a path model. The subject of this study were 368 nurses who were working at 3 hospitals. The data were collected by structured questionnaire from May 1 to June 28 of 2013. Data were analyzed using on SPSS Win 20.0 and AMOS 18.0 program. The results of this study organizational culture types of hospital and nursing experience explained 32% of the variance for organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses. Innovative-oriented organizational culture types of hospital were important factors for affecting organizational citizenship behaviors of nurses. Therefore the nurse manager must establish the strategies to improve who nurses' creative and innovative ideas accepted by the culture to change.
