Cases Analysis of Vault "Shirai-Kim Hee Hoon" Technique for Assessing Skill Completeness (도마 Shirai-Kim Hee Hoon 기술의 성공/실패 사례를 통한 융복합 완성도 평가)

  • The purpose of the study was to perform a comparative analysis of the success and failure cases to increase the completeness of vault "Shirai-Kim Hee Hoon" technique. The subject of the study was "K" a male gymnast from Korean Artistic Gymnastic National team. The results obtained through the three-dimensional analysis during international as well as practice session are as follows: Firstly, excluding BC, the lead time in each PrF, HC and PoF phases were shorter during successful trials than in failure trials. Secondly, during successful trials, the horizontal and vertical velocity appeared to be higher during taking off, which contributed positively to the leaping motion in the horizontal direction. Thirdly, when compared with successful and failure trials, the body's angular rotation was highly maintained during the takeoff from the spring board followed by larger thigh angular displacement at the vault before actually attempting the backward rotation.

Squash Athlete's Perception and Emotional Response on the Referee's Judgment (스쿼시 심판판정에 대한 선수들의 인식과 정서 반응)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore players' perception and emotional reaction toward referee's judgment. The participants of this study were six players (three male and three female) in 2016 national team. The results of this study are as follows: First, the differences in referee judgement were dependant on referees' subjective view point, rapid judging capability, qualification and experience. Second, we found that the a referee's judgement less affected match's results. The countermeasures against the adverse referee judgment include excitement, appeal, flow interruption, thought conversion, and concentration. Third, there were many opinions that both the degree of influence of the referee's judgement and the countermeasures was such that athletes were "not affected". In conclusion, the major determinant of players' performance were game strategy and accuracy of skill although the referee's judgement affected player's emotional reaction both in positive and negative ways.

The Influence of Ego State and Interpersonal Skill among Nursing Students (간호대학생의 자아상태가 대인관계 기술에 미치는 영향)

  • The objective of this study was to examine the effects of ego state on the interpersonal skills of nursing students. The targets of this study were the nursing students in D city. The questionnaires were administered to one hundred forty-four nursing students between March 15 and March 30 in 2015. For ego state, the study used Egogram checklist, developed by Bernes and standardized by Korea Transactional Analysis Association, and for interpersonal skills, it used Relationship Change Scale, developed by Schlein and Guerney and revised to suit the conditions in Korea. The collected data were analyzed using t-test, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression. The study results showed that the variables that had significant explanatory power (33.8%) for interpersonal skills were the nurturing parent ego, adapted child ego, and free child ego. The study suggests convergent implications on a transactional analysis programs for nursing students to improve interpersonal skills as the findings showed that the ego state of nursing students affected the interpersonal skills.

Reflection and Intention of General Physical Education in College (대학 교양체육의 성찰과 지향점 탐색)

  • Liberal education in colleges and universities embrace the concept of general education to enhance individual's morality, intelligence and identity. In consideration of physical education aim to develop cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains as a whole person education, liberal education and general physical education share the same values and objectives. Suppose physical education and liberal education shared same initial values, general physical education should take possession of the core means to achieve liberal education goals. To this end, it is necessary to inspect the actual statement of general physical education curriculum carefully, to find potential problems and prevent them in advance, and also explore future directions. In the current investigation, researchers found potential problems through identifying operation status of general physical education in 10 national universities. In addition, researcher provided future directions of general physical education in college and university including 'take possession of core means for liberal education', 'making diverse general physical education curriculum', 'move away from physical skill-centered education', 'general physical education as a whole body education' and 'increase opportunity of general physical education'.

A Study on The Needs in The Family Life Education Among The Middle Aged Employed Wives and House Wives (중년기 주부의 취업여부에 따른 가족생활교육 요구도 분석)

  • This study is to find out whether the family life education can help the middle aged wives to resolve their problems and to keep their lives healthy. For this purpose self-administered questionnaires were used for 628 persons whose ages between 40 to 59 residing in the Metropolitan Area of Soul. Deta collected were analyzed by statistical methods such as the factor analysis frequency distribution percentile mean t-test chi-square Anova and Duncan's multiple range test through the SAS program package. Major results obtained are as follows; 1) The most demanding education content in the are of the spousal relationship was the helping program for the role change from parent-child relationship to spousal relationship. Employed wives demanded conflict resolution skill training program between parents and children while house wives showed the highest interest in guiding their children's future. 2) There are significant differences between employed wives and house wives in the areas f parent-child relationship communication and home managment of the need assessment. In detail employed wives showed higher interest in education the children more independent than house wives. Employed wives also showed higher interest than house wives in the education content about the factors for communication problems in the communication area. 3) About the application method in the family life education there was no significant difference between employed wives and house wives in terms of the necessity of the problem solving methods of follow-up meeting in the family life education while there was a significant difference in the past education program participation intention to participate in the future education program and the education setting between employed wives and house wives.

A Study on the Development of Teaching Evaluation Indicators for Faculty in Engineering College (공과대학 교수의 교육업적평가 지표 개발 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the current evaluation methods on faculty performance at Korean engineering colleges and develop teaching evaluation indicators for faculty performance. We investigated the faculty performance cases in engineering colleges inside and outside of the Korea, the engineering faculty's awareness of evaluation factors for their educational performance, and the appropriate ratios by indicating factors. Also we developed evaluation indicators for educational achievements to improve the current faculty performance system. 227 engineering faculty members answered our survey questionnaire. The result in the case study on faculty performance evaluation is as follows. First, most items of faculty performance evaluation are about quantitative indicators that can easily conduct objective evaluation. Second, evaluation items of faculty performance are mostly focused on instruction in a classroom. Third, the evaluation by students and administrative managers is more dominant than that by professors or their colleagues, document evaluation than on site evaluation, general evaluation than formative evaluation, and static evaluation than dynamic evaluation. Lastly, Some universities tend to substitute outstanding articles for underperforming instruction. The evaluation indicators that we have developed can be implemented by four types of subjects, such as students, professors, their colleagues, and deans. Also, based on the evaluation indicators, faculties can freely select their evaluation domains depending on the their tracks, such as a teaching track, a research track, or an industry-university cooperation track. The mandatory evaluation fields include teaching, student counselling, teaching portfolio evaluation by mentors or colleagues, class management evaluation by deans, and self-evaluation. The other areas are optional and professors can choose their evaluation factors.

  • This research has a significant meaning to observe and understand the historical condition of a furniture industry and the characteristics of Korean home furniture's formation, ability, skill and materials from 1980s when there were an economic growth and a historical development of Korean home furniture occurred to present days. During 1980s, there was an automatic system available and has enforced and settled the standards on its quality and price in a furniture industry. Also, there was a big trend of black furniture as well as an entrance of corporation and high glossy furniture due to technical cooperation from Europe. In 1990s, there was an entrance of furniture which various techniques was applied due to a high development of the materials and skills, and also various sizes of height and weight and enlargement of acceptance function using highly-technological hardware. After 2000 and now, pro-environmental products is embossed in the Korean home furniture where they added a public issue which is the concept of well being, and A.I and sub material has been pro-environment. There also was a natural unity between nature and technology because of increased usage of trees with its natural patterns, metals, and glasses. For the future development of home furniture design, This problem should be promptly recognized that current home furniture designs are now on the verge of being lack of originality and are just following the market demand and recent trend as it is. Then, there should be a development of its specialized, detailed, unique design as well as a development of advanced materials, production management, distribution, and so on, and carrying out a diversified research continuously. There also should be a systematic education, which is necessary for training specialists to lead the Korean home furniture design industry as well as preparing a basic level for the future without a negligence.

A Study on Men's Satisfaction and Intention to Revisit Beauty Shop Service (20-40대 남성의 이.미용 서비스만족도와 재방문 의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify factors evaluating beauty service and to find determinants of consumer satisfaction and intention to revisit a beauty shop for Korean men aged from 20's to 40's. The study was done by survey method. Data of three hundred were collected by on-line survey. Descriptive analyses, factor analyses, Duncan tests, multiple regressions, and path analyses were applied to analyze data. The results were as follows: First, factor analysis produced five factors on men's beauty service quality. They were store environments and convenience, employee's skill, service efficiency, store management methods, and service fee. Second, men's service satisfaction on beauty shop and on beauty shop employee were significantly affected by all the beauty service factors. Third, men's intention to revisit beauty shop and to revisit beauty shop employee were positively and significantly affected by all the beauty service factors and satisfaction on beauty shop employee. In conclusion, men's satisfaction and, in turn, intention to revisit beauty service were affected mainly by evaluation on beauty service. To increase customer satisfaction followed by store loyalty, comfortable shop atmosphere and outstanding styling quality service are likely to be most important. Beauty service quality could be perceived in comparing with service fee. Thus, diverse ways of price related promotion would be required to improve beauty service satisfaction.

  • In this study, we tried to find qualification items that qualified the processing skill of information and internet application on information and communication industry. The purpose of this research is to detect operation condition of national, private, and many other qualifications using digital information application ability and then developed new qualification items which able to solve problems on present qualification items. Related works and the data analysis for this study were performed and the committee that is composed of qualification item experts, professor, and the person in charge of Korea information & communication institute was held in twice.

The Influence of Academic Stress, LMS Utilization Satisfaction and Social Support on Academic Persistence among Online Graduate Students (온라인 대학원 학습자의 학업 스트레스, LMS 활용만족도, 사회적 지지가 학업지속의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine academic stress, social support and learning management system(LMS) utilization satisfaction of learners attending online graduate schools and understand the factors influencing their academic persistence. Methods: The participants were students of K online graduate school and the data of 143 students, in total, were collected from April to May in 2019. For data analysis, frequency analysis, x2 test, t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 23. Results: Academic stress, social support, and LMS utilization satisfaction were associated with academic persistence of online graduate students. The multiple regression analysis of the factors influencing academic persistence showed that the model was significant (p<.001) with an explanatory power of 23% and that significant factors influencing it were academic stress (β=-.23, p=.002), LMS utilization satisfaction (β=.31, p<.001) and jobs (β=.23, p=.002). Conclusion: Although the online graduate students' level of academic persistence was high, it is required to develop strategies to alleviate their academic stress and increase LMS utilization rate in order to increase their persistence to academic success. In addition, it is necessary to provide the foundation on which the utilization of major knowledge regarding jobs can be enhanced, reflecting the characteristics of online graduate students. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to the extension of professional and advanced education in response to social needs by developing a variety of online high education learning systems beyond time and space.
