As the importance of time-based competition is increasing, information systems for supporting the immediate decision making is strongly required. Especially high -tech product firms are under extreme pressure of rapid response to the demand side due to relatively short life cycle of the product. Therefore, the objective of our research is proposing a framework of estimating demand curve based on e-auction data, which is extremely easy to access and well reflect the limited demand curve in that channel. Firstly, we identify the advantages of using e-auction data for full demand curve estimation and then verify it using Agent-Eased-Modeling and Tobin's censored regression model.

Since the 9/11 terror attack, the event which caused supply chain disruption, supply chain security has becomes more important than ever before. Furthermore, such company's logistics strategies conflicting supply chain security as increased global sourcing, JIT manufacturing are increasing supply chain vulnerability. It could burden for global companies to strengthen supply chain security because not only it requires additional investment cost but also changes of companiy's global logistics strategy. However, on the other hand, supply chain visibility and resilience can be improved through supply chain security. In addition, it allows companies to stabilize supply chain structure as well as rapid and flexible response to market demand. The key issue is balancing between efficiency and supply chain security. To do this, identifying risk elements under the supply chain and assessing vulnerability of each supply chain components should be performed before developing efficient supply chain security management system without obstructing supply chain efficiency.

To minimize and prevent the increasing fire and personal injury, the domestic firefighting organizations are making continuous efforts to strengthen the response system and safety standards. "Fire Reduction Program" has been prepared to reduce the outbreak of fire up to 20% in the next 10 years, and the analysis of fire sources should be done and its countermeasures also should be done accordingly. Therefore, the management status, the improvement tasks, and the limitations of the implementation plan are reviewed and studied so that the implementation and goal of the "Fire Reduction Policy" can be achieved.

The need to further improve food quality and reduce food waste leads to increased attention for the development of Food Supply Chain Management (FSCM) which considers intrinsic characteristics of food supply chains besides traditional supply chain management (SCM) objectives such as cost and responsiveness. Growing consciousness of society towards sustainable development brings additional objectives to the food supply chains and the fast evolution of sustainable development results in the development of a new fast-growing concept: Sustainable Food Supply Chain Management (SFSCM). In response to these developments, researchers have developed various decision support tools that can be used for handling progressively increasing complexity along the alteration process from SCM to FSCM and now to SFSCM. This study reviewed literature on sustainable food logistics management to identify logistical key issues and relevant challenges. The evaluation of the reviewed papers shows that towards obtaining sustainability together with considering intrinsic characteristics of food supply chains, there is a gap between the needs of the practice and the current available method.

In general, companies operate systematically in response to financial risks such as exchange rates and liquidity, while they are vulnerable to risks in the manufacturing and sales processes. In particular, logistics refers to the activities for planning, managing and implementing efficient flows from the starting point of goods and products to the point of consumption, The purpose of this study was to develop key risks and key risk management indicators (KRIs) for risks that undermine logistics efficiency so that logistics risks can be effectively prevented and managed. As a result, 40 risk management indicators (KRIs) were developed in a total of six categories in the logistics sector, and the definition, calculation method and early warning grade of each KRI were presented so that companies could prevent risks in advance in logistics activities and contribute to enhancing efficiency of their work.

The study aimed to assess the availability of intellectual capital in Kuwaiti private universities in terms of its three dimensions (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital), as well as its role in crisis management (crisis preparedness, crisis mitigation, confrontation, and response to the crisis, and learning from the crisis) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Members of the boards of trustees, university presidents, their deputies, and deans of the colleges were chosen as respondents to this study from a sample of (8) private universities in Kuwait, with the sampling unit consisting of leaders in these universities. The study revealed that all dimensions of intellectual capital play a statistically significant impact in executing crisis management during the COVID-19 pandemic at Kuwaiti private universities after conducting the data analysis process. The study concluded that universities should pay attention to intellectual capital in all its dimensions (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital) because of its role in improving their ability to implement crisis management strategies and strive to improve their capabilities to face crises by implementing crisis management strategies.

The Korean Academy of Health Policy and Management (KAHPM) is on its 30th anniversary in 2018. The KAHPM is the first academic society in the field of health policy and management, and it has maintained its significance for 30 years as a representative academic society of health policy and management in Korea. During 30 years, the KAHPM has sought to establish and develop academic field of health policy and management, conducted academic discussions on the agenda of health policy and management in response to the needs of the times and on the health policy issues of the presidential elections, and discussed the healthcare policy of the Government. The 30th anniversary of the KAHPM is scheduled to hold a 30th anniversary academic conference and to prepare the 30th history book of the KAHPM. The offical journal of KAHPM, Health Policy and Management (HPM) will be publishing a special issue with important topics with health policy and management in commemoration of its 30th anniversary. Based on 30 years' experiences, the KAHPM and HPM will be committed to furthering the next 30 years and endeavoring to contribute to improve the quality of life for the people by establishing and practicing desirable health policy and management.

Typical highway infrastructure systems include roadway pavement, drainage systems, tunneling, and other hardware components such as guardrails, traffic signs, and lighting. Tunnels in a highway system have provided significant advantages to overcoming various natural challenges including crossing underneath bodies of water or through mountainous areas. While only a few tunnel failure cases have been reported, the failure rate is likely to increase as these assets age and because agencies have not emphasized tunneling asset management. A tunnel system undergoes a deterioration life cycle pattern that is similar to other infrastructure systems. There are very few agencies in the United States implementing comprehensive tunnel asset management programs. While current tunnel asset management programs focus on inspection, maintenance, and operation safety, there is an increasing need for the development of a comprehensive life cycle tunnel asset management program. This paper describes a conceptual framework for a comprehensive tunnel asset management program. The framework consists of three basic phases including a strategic plan, a tactical plan, and an operational plan to provide better information to the decision makers. The strategic plan is a basic long term approach of tunnel asset management. The tactical plan determines specific objectives and the operational plan actually applies asset management objectives in practice. The information includes operational condition, structural condition, efficiency of the system, emergency response, and life cycle cost analysis for tunnel capital improvement project planning.

본 연구는 빅데이터의 구성요소(Volume, Variety, Velocity, Complexity)가 가지는 속성을 정의하여 상황인식에 관한 재난대응 활동의 의사결정에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 빅데이터가 가지는 속성과 상황인식 간의 가설을 설정하였고, 시각화가 상황인식을 통한 의사결정간의 인과관계를 조절하는 효과가 있는지를 확인하였다. 분석을 위해 안전행정부, 소방방재청, 시도 및 시군구 재난관리과를 대상으로 설문 332부를 수집하였으며, 불성실한 응답 12부를 제외함으로써 320부를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째 빅데이터가 가지는 속성 중 누적성, 확장성, 유연성, 실시간성, 분석성, 융합성은 재난관리 담당자의 상황인식에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으나, 다양성과 비정형성은 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 둘째, 재난관리 담당자의 상황인식은 재난대응 활동의 의사결정에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 시각화는 상황인식과 재난대응 활동의 의사결정간에 조절효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.

화학공장에서 사고를 예방하려는 많은 연구가 수행되었음에도 불구하고 지속적으로 사고가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 사고들은 규모가 크고, 초동 대응의 결과에 따라 인명, 재산 피해 규모가 달라진다. 따라서 사고 발생 이후 피해를 최소화하기 위한 사고대응 가이드라인이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존에 존재하던 사고대응 가이드라인 작성법과 국내 법령 등에서 제시하는 가이드라인의 요구사항에 대하여 조사하고, 기존 사고대응 가이드라인 작성 방법에 BCP 기법을 적용하여, 가이드라인의 개발을 위한 구성 요소, 대응단계, 개선 절차 등을 제시하였다.
