  • Hasa TM/TC system is composed of one control center, two reservoirs, six pumping stations and twelve canal systems. For this system we developed water management program which includes flood forecast program, drought reduction program, irrigation scheduling program and database program. With these program we expect that operators can improve the irrigation efficiencies of the irrigation systems due to the timely irrigation on a right place, in a proper quantity and reduce the cost of maintenance and reduce flood and drought damages of the Hasa district. In agricultural engineering respect, the databases including water level, rainfall, the amount of flowing can be useful to the researcher who make a study of hydrology and hydraulics in rural area. Water management program records all of the TM/TC data to MOB format file per 10 minutes.

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of a Self-management program on physical function and quality of life of women with knee osteoarthritis. Method: The participants for this study, who had knee osteoarthritis, were recruited from an arthritis clinic, at a university hospital located in S city, Korea between February 16, 2004 and June IS, 2004. Seventeen subjects in the control group received no intervention and 18 subjects in for experimental group received an individual Self-management program. The self-management program consisted of dietary education and home-based exercise; walking and resistance exercise. The subjects performed this program 5 times per week during 8 weeks and recorded a diary for diet and exercise. In order to verify the effects of the Self-management program, physical function and Quality of life as a dependent variable were measured at three points in time: before, week4 and week8 after the interventions. Result: There were significant increases on physical function (F=5.08, p=.002) and significant interaction effects (F=7.42, p=.002) in the intervention group over the three measurement points in time. In addition, there were significant increases on quality of life (F=8.08, p=.002) and significant interaction effects (F=4.89, p=.016) in the intervention group over the three measurement points in time. Conclusion: This study revealed that a Self-management program can be used as an efficient nursing intervention for women with knee osteoarthritis.

  • Purpose: This study was to examine the effects of a obesity management program for obese children at a urban elementary school. Methods: The study subjects were fifty five 4th-6th graders (experimental = 29, control = 26) whose obesity indices were 120% or over fiunr two schools in a urban area. Obesity management program was conducted weekly 12 sessions with 60-day morning group exercises. Study instruments were Imbody 310 (BIOSPACE, 2005) and summated scales. Data were collected from April 6 to June 22, 2006 and analysed by descriptive statistics, X2-test and ANCOVA using SPSS/PC+ 14.0 program. Results: 1. Obesity management program was effective to reduce body weight (t = -2.54, p = .014), fat mass percent (t = -2.37, p = .021) and to increase muscle mass (t = 2.36, p = .022). And all these were also significant statistically in ANCOVA 2. Obesity management program were also effective to decrease level of obesity (t = -3.28, p = .002), and that of stress (t = -2.19, p = .033) and to improve food habit (t = 2.52, p = .016). And all these were also significant statistically in ANCOVA. Conclusion: School-based obesity management program for obese children was effective to reduce weight, fat mass percent, obesity, and stress; increase muscle mass; and improve food habit. School-based obesity management program, therefore, can be recommended as a health promotion measure in elementary school as curricular basis.

This research examine the major 5 factors of invention education program and identified the improvement of relative invention education program relation to entrepreneurship process. The sample survey of this research are 125 university student respondents and 5 invention entrepreneurs are participated. Research methods used means, percentile, frequency and factor analysis. Major findings are as follows; the selected course category of factor analysis categorized the understanding of invention concept, invention and management, invention and creativity, invention and patent and invention exercise. The mean value of perceived importance that invention and management, invention exercise, invention and creativity, invention concept and invention and patent are in order. But the perception of invention entrepreneurs to patent, management, creativity, invention exercise and invention concepts are in order. And the sub invention program's necessity degree relation to 'management and exercise' are higher than others. This study suggested that invention education program reinforcing the invention management and student takes interesting patent contents which accepted exercise program with easy.

  • The government announced that it would ask the contractors not only the supplier but also the contractors to take the same responsibilities if they did not observe industrial accident safety measures from 2019. The semiconductor manufacturing process belongs to the representative disaster industry group in which the facility is directly located inside a closed space called clean room. According to previous studies, the semiconductor industry group used checklists for safety management of their suppliers. This study has developed a model for assessing suppliers by constructing a quantitative checklist item through the risk assessment methodology, laws and regulations. The evaluation model of the supplier set up through this study becomes the safety management standard in the semiconductor industry. Furthermore, it is applied to the partner companies in the operation of ISO 14001, 45001, I would like to apply it as a measure of performance management for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop an effective obesity management program for elementary school children, based on the motivation theory. Method: This study was a methodological study. A child obesity management program, based on the motivation theory was developed, a web site was made and children with obesity participated in the internet program. After the children finished the program, they evaluated the clinical validity of the program. The clinical validity was tested from Jun 12 to 16, 2006. The participants were 6 students. The evaluation tool was Keller's IMMS(Instructional Material Motivation Survey). Data were evaluated using $means{\pm}SD$ for four major components A,R,C,S (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction), based on ARCS in the motivation theory. Results: The program developed in this study was named 'ARCS children obesity escape', and the URL is 'http://www.119kid.co.kr'. Regarding the four components of ARCS, the overall reaction of participants showed that they were very highly motivated by this program. Conclusion: Utilizing the ARCS motivation strategies for solving obesity problems for children is an effective method to motivate the management of obesity, and can increase achievement motivation, attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction with the management of obesity. Thus, the program developed in this study is expected to reduce obesity in children, and become an important guide for obesity management and health improvement for children.

  • In this study we explain the necessity of a developing management system of academical achievement in a progrm running the accredited engineering program as an observation and management tool to assure students' succesive achievement of program outcomes, and also present an operation result of the constructed management system. Taking the electronic engineering program in our school as an object, we constructed a relating database to monitor the students' course work completions and achievement of program outcomes, to allow students to build their plans for course work and to enable professors to proceed customized counseling for assigned students. The constructed system also provide various statistics relating program outcomes to allow program professors to proceed effective management of outcomes in the program level. In this paper we show that it is possible to calculate and provide the various statistical indicators, which is needed to effectively run accredited engineering programs, by presenting the results relating successful construction of the system and its operation.
