한국무역기업의 글로벌 공급체인관리(Global Supply Chain Management) 도입 및 발전방안 (The Introduction and Application of the Global Supply Chain Management in Korean Trading Companies)

  • In the last decade, the issue of supply chain management(SCM) has emerged as a significant topic in the logistics literature in the developed countries. Also recently the concept of SCM has generated considerable interest in korean firms. However, there has been little systematic analysis of the experience of those companies that have used such SCM philosophy. This paper studies introduction and Application of Korean Trading Companies using SCM philosophy. This study forcuses on how Korean firms can use the SCM by reinforcing their logistics systems. The objectives of this paper are. 1. To develop an understanding of the forces that have created an interest in SCM. 2. To examine the obstacles encountered in implementing SCM. 3. To suggest the impact of the use of SCM and the directions for institutional Development.

  • 최근 국내에서도 지식경영과 관련한 연구와 실례가 다수 발표되고 있다. 그러나 지식경영의 이론적 배경을 완전히 이해하지 못한다면, 이를 지식창출(Knowledge creation)을 지원하는 경영도구(Managerial application)로 이해하기 보다는 정보를 관리하는 또 다른 방법으로 오인하기 쉽다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지식경영이 최근 주요 경영도구로 회자되고 있는 배경을 당대의 경영환경 및 과학철학(Philosophy of Science)을 중심으로 살펴본다. 이후 데이터(Data) 및 정보(Information)와 비교되는 지식의 특성을 고려하여 이를 창출하거나 이의 흐름(Flow)을 활성화(Facilitating)하기 위한 여러 가지 방안 중 연성정보시스템 방법론(Soft Systems Methodology)을 고찰해 본다. 연성정보시스템 방법이 건설경영(Construction Management)관련 대학교육과 실무에 어떻게 접목될 수 있는지에 관한 논의로 결론을 맺는다.

Deming prize and malcolm baldrige national quality award

  • Total Quality Management (TQM) is the aggregated management philosophy for quality including production, operation, human resource, leadership, marketing, and etc. TQM is the advanced concept and philosophy rather than traditional "Quality Control" or "Quality Assurance". Nowadays, downstream costs has been increased, that made cost accountants' attention to costs of quality. Many countries have developed their own quality awards system in order to improve overall national quality level. The Deming Prize of Japan and Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) of United States are two representatives of quality prizes. We compared the two awards by means of their history, objective, coverage, and judging criteria. Deming Prize has a longer history than MBNQA. Deming Prize selects five winners a year, while MBNQA has two or three areas. The biggest difference is judgement criteria. The Deming Prizes focuses on statistical control which is a traditional quality control method, while MBNQA concentrates on modem business concept such as customer satisfaction. The suggestions to these awards are: evaluate more on information of quality; evaluate more on inter-functional relationship between quality control function and other link more financial success.e financial success.

플라톤의 건강관에 대한 고찰 -"국가"를 중심으로 - (A Study on Platonic View of Health in "Politeia")

  • A purpose of this study is to understand Platonic View of Health in $\boxDr$Politeia$\boxUl$. Though Plato was not so much a doctor as a philosopher. he had health care of children at heart. He mapped out an ideal type of nation in $\ulcorner$Politeia$\lrcorner$. and he founded a Akademeia in order to realize his dreams. In his course of education. he put emphasis on the problem of health. He extended poetry education for mental health and physical education for physical health. He placed high value on mental health above physical health. and poetry education corresponds to our reading education of today. He perceived that reading had a considerable influence on mental health promotion. According to his assertion, life style, too. had something to do with health condition. To lead a simple. temperate life makes one' health promote, on the other hand, to lead a complicated, intemperate life makes one' health injure. Morever, he approved of a eugenic marriage and the law of jungle. If one is unable to take care of one' health oneself. he would rather die than live. We cannot accept this proposal by general consent. but we cannot be too careful of our health. We can draw out a philosophy of health from Platonic View of Health. For example. the importance of health education. the preference of mental health. the influence of reading education. and responsibility for self-care, etc. We need to establish a philosophy of health scientifically by lasting study of records.

저출산 대책에 대한 다학제적 접근 (Multidisciplinary Approach to Low Fertility Issue in Korea)

  • A rapid decrease of total fertility rate to 1.08 in 2005 prompted the Korean government to plan and implement a '5-year plan for ageing society and population policy' starting from 2006. The 1st and 2nd 5-year plans had not shown any discernible impact on the fertility and the 3rd 5-year plan was launched in 2016. However, the fertility rate is going down further. The author reviewed the contents and assessment reports of the fertility promotion plan to suggest ideas for complementing the shortcomings of it. Author defined the major determinants of marriage and child birth as philosophy, politics, sense of value, social norm, culture, healthcare, and education. The plan was examined in view of these determinants. Transformation of Korea from an agricultural society to an industrialized society in a short period of time had brought about changes in most of the determinants of marriage and child birth; in particular philosophy and sense of value. These aspects were not put into consideration in the plan. Author suggested to launch a social education program for the general public to establish a sound philosophy of life, reform the sense of value on family, child birth and education, and cultivate the skill to draw a consensus through discussions on the social issues. A special program to promote marriage of women at the optimum age for child birth was proposed. The government should implement well balanced policy for economic development and labor. Multidisciplinary approach was recommended for these tasks.

This mindset is nurtured by the "Kyocera philosophy," the most important vision and motto of the company, which educates and encourages employees to grow themselves, respect others, and behave for all. 새로운 경영으로서의 현대 서비스경영 모델 (A Service Management Model as the New Business Administration)

  • 본 연구는 신경영의 철학적 기반을 반영한 현대 서비스경영 모델을 연구하였다. 서비스경영은 현대 경영으로서 현대의 정신에 충실해야 한다. 또한 서비스경영은 서비스경제시대의 경영으로서 서비스본질에 충실한 경영이어야 한다. 그리고 현대 서비스 경영은 인류 사회의 중심 기구인 조직을 경영하는 활동이므로 세상 공통 원리에 의한 경영을 해야 한다. 이러한 세 가지 경영 철학 조건을 충족하는 경영이 현대적 서비스경영으로 정의된다. 본 연구에서는 기존 서비스경영 프레임워크가 이러한 현대 경영의 기준에 부합하지 않았음을 분석하고, 개선된 현대 서비스경영 모델을 도출하였다. 기존 서비스경영 프레임워크는 서비스를 무형재화로 보지 않고 제품에 부가되어 있는 부수적 재화로 인식하고 있는 문제가 있었다. 또한 현대 경영이 되기 위해 요구되는 현대의 정신이 경영 프레임워크에 반영되어 있지 않았다. 그리고 서비스산업과 서비스조직의 비중이 절대적으로 높아진 현대 경제사회의 특징과 요구를 반영하지 못하고 있었다. 현대 서비스경영 모델은 서비스라는 무형재화의 본질을 반영하는 경영 모델이어야 하고, 현대 정신을 반영하는 경영 프레임워크가 되어야 하며, 현대경제사회의 중심 조직에게 요구되는 세상 공통원리를 반영하는 경영 모델이 되어야 한다. 즉 현대 서비스경영은 현대정신에의 부합성, 서비스본질경영 부합성, 세상공통원리 부합성 요건을 충족해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 연구에서 분석된 서비스본질과 세상 공통원리에 추가하여 현대정신을 분석하고, 이 세 가지 요건을 갖춘 현대 서비스경영 모델을 제시하였다. 또한 현대적 서비스경영 사례들을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 개념적 모델로서, 향후 실증 연구를 강화하여 본 경영모델이 지속적으로 우수한 경영성과를 낼 수 있음을 입증하는 분석적 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구를 확장하여 구체적 모델로 발전시키는 연구도 필요하다.

한국과 일본병원의 미션선언문 비교연구 - 한국의 상급종합병원과 일본의 특정기능병원을 중심으로- (A study of Mission statements for strategic management - Focusing on the tertiary care hospitals in korea and special functioning hospitals in Japan-)

  • This study investigated contents of mission statements for Strategic Management of hospitals in Korea and Japan. For the study, 44 tertiary care hospitals in korea, which were accredited by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, were selected. And 83 special functioning hospitals in Japan, which were approved by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, were included. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted by classifying 5 components of the mission statement; market, service, philosophy, image, contribution. Findings from this study are as follow. First, hospitals in Korea emphasized image(93.2%) and philosophy(81.8%) components in their mission statements, whereas hospitals in Japan highlighted components of service(89.2%) and market(72.3%). In detail, mission statements of Korean tertiary care hospitals describe the components of hospital's image (93.2%), philosophy(81.8%), contribution(56.8%), market(22.7%) and service (18.2%) in order. On the other hand, mission statements of Japanese special functioning hospitals describe hospital's service(89.2%), market(72.3%), contribution(61.4%), image (49.4%) and philosophy(34.9%), respectively. Second, as results of Content analysis, there were some differences in mission statements of hospitals between two countries, and it is mainly from the divergences of standards for recognition of medical institutions, environmental factors, and different ways of mission statement description. For strategic hospital management, carrying out innovative restructuring organization or promoting of research and training for medical development is considered as a desirable approach. However, clear description of mission statement is more important and it is required for effective control and managing organization. And then the mission should be communicated within an organization so all internal members understand it and put their efforts to achieve the mission of organization. In conclusion, it is recommended that a leader and senior managers should re-evaluate its mission statement whether it reflects characteristics of an organization. In addition, a mission statement should be created or improved based on critical decision, as well as it should be clearly shared within an organization in order to become a future oriented organizations.

  • 기업의 사회적 책임을 다하기 위해서는 고용평등을 실현해 가는 것이 중요하며, 그 성과를 가늠하기에 가장 적합한 지표는 성별임금격차이다. 우리나라는 OECD 회원국 중에서도 성별임금격차가 가장 심각한 국가로 꼽히고 있으나, 그동안 성별임금격차에 대한 연구는 노동시장의 구조, 정부의 정책, 산업과 같은 거시적 측면에서 설명하려는 시도가 주로 이어져 왔다. 본 연구는 성별임금격차에 영향을 주는 조직 내부요인 중에서도 최고경영자의 특성과 인사제도에 주목하였다. 최고경영자의 경영철학은 조직의 의사결정의 방향을 정하고 제도를 활성화시킨다. 또한 인사제도는 규칙과 절차를 통해 구성원들에게 공정하고 객관적인 조직운영을 가능하게 한다. 그러나 인사제도의 합리화를 추구하는 조직에서도 소수자가 소외되는 상황이 발생하고, 인사제도의 합리화가 기존 의도와는 달리 차별을 정당화시키는 수단으로 사용될 수 있다[1]. 본 연구에서는 합리적 인사제도가 긍정적인 영향을 미치기 위해서는 최고경영자의 경영철학에 기반하여 이뤄져야 함을 제안한다. 즉, 최고경영자의 특성과 합리적 인사제도의 통합적 관점에서 성별임금격차를 완화시킬 수 있는 메커니즘을 탐색하였다. 특히, 실질적으로 인력을 활용하는 기업 내부요인에 기반하여 성별임금격차를 살펴봄으로써 조직이 인사제도를 어떻게 운영해야 하는지에 대한 구체적인 함의를 제공하고자 한다.
