  • 본 논문에서는 암호화된 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) 비트스트림에서의 조건적 접근제어을 위한 키 관리 기법을 제안한다. 스케일러블 비디오 코딩 기술은 한번 인코딩 후 비트스트림 추출을 통해 다양한 확장성(scalabbility)을 가지는 비디오를 생성 할 수 있는 기술로 확장하는 단위마다 다른 키로 암호화 하여 조건적 접근제어를 구성 할 수 있다. 그러나 기존의 조건적 접근제어 기술은 암호화 시 복수의 키가 필요하며 이는 키의 관리와 분배에 어려움을 준다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 기존의 스케일러블 코딩기법에서 조건적 접근제어를 위한 키 관리기법을 살펴보고 SVC 의 확장 구조에 맞는 키 관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 SVC 를 이용한 스트리밍 테스트베드에서 구현되어, 조건적 접근제어를 위한 키 관리기능의 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes compression of image data using neural networks based on conjugate gradient method and dynamic tunneling system. The conjugate gradient method is applied for high speed optimization .The dynamic tunneling algorithms, which is the deterministic method with tunneling phenomenon, is applied for global optimization. Converging to the local minima by using the conjugate gradient method, the new initial point for escaping the local minima is estimated by dynamic tunneling system. The proposed method has been applied the image data compression of 12 ${\times}$12 pixels. The simulation results shows the proposed networks has better learning performance , in comparison with that using the conventional BP as learning algorithm.

  • In this study, we try to make up for the vulnerability in steganography that it is easily revealed the hidden logo image in cover image by bit-plane extraction. For this, we apply some methods, the permutation which shift the scattered pieces of logo image to one side, bit-plane dispersion insertion method and pack-type compressor.

  • 스테레오 매칭은 Robot Vision 분야에서 가장 활발하게 연구가 진행되어온 주제이다. 과거 많은 연구들은 스테레오 매칭 알고리즘의 정확도를 높이거나 처리속도를 개선하는 것 중 어느 한 쪽에만 집중하고 있었으며, 두 가지를 동시에 고려한 연구는 상대적으로 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 공간적 중복 성질을 이용하여 스테레오 매칭 알고리즘의 처리속도를 획기적으로 개선하는 방법을 제안하고, 처리 속도 감소에 따라 증가되는 disparity map 추정 오차를 보상하는 기술을 제안한다. 구체적으로 Dynamic Programming (DP) 기반 스테레오 매칭 알고리즘에 제안한 속도 개선 방법을 적용하고, 개선된 Adaptive Support Weight Filter를 사용하여 보다 효과적인 오차 보상을 실현 하였다. 체계적인 실험을 통해, 본 논문에서 제안 하는 스테레오 매칭 알고리즘은 처리속도와 정확도를 동시에 개선할 수 있음을 검증하였다.

  • A Dual Sensor Wiener Filter technique was used to improve the image quality of the scanning type digital radiographic system (resolution and SNR). In this method, two images were acquried simultaneously using two sensors with high and low resolution and SNR values. Using the cross Power spectrum between dual sensor outputs of the same chest radiographic image. we design a new type of Wiener Filter and implement it with fast algorithm. We compared the performance of this new dual sensor filter with conventional single sensor filters (Wiener Filter and Parametric Projec- tion Filter) . In simulation studies, it is shown that this new method has SNR improvement of 1-3 dB better than conventional filters.

  • In this paper, using ranks of co-occurrence frequency about indices in neighboring pixels, we introduce a new re-indexing scheme for efficiency of index color image lossless compression. The proposed method is suitable for arithmetic coding because it has skewed distributions of small variance. Experimental results proved that the proposed method reduces the bit rates than other coding schemes, more specifically 15%, 54% and 12% for LZW algorithm of GIF, the plain arithmetic coding method and Zeng's scheme.

  • In this paper, We proposed the efficient method of cleaning impulse noise using mean shift segmentation. This method do its job for the pixel which is identified as impulse noise using mean shift segmentation instead of all pixel of image by the existing method. we found that the quality of image is improved by measuring the sum of square error in result image and impulse noise is cleaned efficiently by doing experiment.

  • In this paper, we present stereoscopic conversion based on movie shot information. To overcome the low stereoscopic quality of automatic stereo conversion technologies, the usage of the shot type is expected to provide more satisfactory stereoscopic perception. In general, movie clips are produced with a variety of shot techniques such as long shot, closeup shot, medium shot, etc. Each shot has its own characteristics that can be utilized during the conversion process. Furthermore, description sceme for shot and camera information is presented in XML. XML shot editor generates XML shot data. and conversion module parses such data and converts 2D image into stereoscopic image.

  • By setting a refractor with a certain angle against the optical axis of the CCD camera lens, the image of a measuring point recorded on the image plane is displaced by the corresponding amounts related to the distance between the camera and the measuring point. When the refractor that keeps the angle against the optical axis is rotated physically at high speed during the exposure of the camera, the image of a measuring point draws an annular streak. Since the size of the annular streak is inversely proportional to the distance between the camera and the measuring point, the 3D position of the measuring point can be obtained by processing the streak.   • In this paper, ultrasonic tomography by the Mode-Converted Rayleigh wave (MCRW) in the back-scattered direction is presented. When a beam with a short pulse and narrow beam width enters a reflector with smooth surface, in general, two major arrivals can be observed in the output waveform: the specular reflection and the radiation of the MCRW from the reflector surface. The time-delay between the two waves is relatively large and thus can be measured easily. This large time-delay is due to the fact that the MCRW is slower than incident wave. In our method, this large time- delay is used for ultrasonic image reconstruction. To effectively detect the MCRW, the arrayed-receiving transducers are circularly arranged around the transmitter. In addition, a deconvolution method is employed to remove specular echo signals for reconstructing the MCRW image.
