The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data for determining contents of Fundamental Nursing Practice and developing desirable bedside nursing techniques for clinical nursing areas. Subjects for this study were 86 nurses who were employees of two university hospitals located in Seoul and a district area. Data were collected by questionnaires. Items of Fundamental Nursing Practice were classified into 72 items according to the result from content analysis of 9 textbooks of Fundamental Nursing. The results are as follows : 1) Items which above 80% of respondents practiced during the school inside practice or clinical nursing practice course were axillary temperature measurement, radial pulse measurement, respiratory rate measurement, application of oral hygiene, hand-washing technique, application of hot and cold bags, intramuscular injection technique, open bed-making, soap enema method, application of nelaton catheterization and oral and nasal suction methods. 2) Above 90% of respondents replied that all items except temperature measurement and bed-making were requisite contents for Fundamental Nursing Practice. Above 10% of respondents replied oral and rectal temperature measurement and bed-making were unnecessary content. 3) Above 90% of respondents replied that operating methods of all items except isolation technique, admission and discharge procedures, and retention enema in the Fundamental Nursing Practice course and clinical situation were consistent. The main reasons that respondents did not apply methods which they learned in the Fundamental Nursing Practice course to the clinical situation were 'insufficient time', 'colleagues were using different methods', 'insufficient supply of instuments' or 'inappropriate appliances'.

The grinding plays a key role which decide the quality of a product finally. But the grinding process is very irregular, so it is very difficult to analyse the process accurately. Therefore it is very important in the aspect of precision and automation to reduce the idle time and to decide the proper dressing time by visualizing. In this study, we choose the direct method of observation by making use of computer vision, and apply pattern classification technique to the method of measuring the wheel surface. Pattern classification technique is proper to analyse complex surface image. We observe the change of the wheel surface by making use of the gray level run lengths which are representative prince in this technique.

방사선 방어의 최적화 수행에는 적용의 다양함 등을 고려할 때, 절차론이 반드시 필요하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 발전소 설계 단계에서의 최적화 절차론을 제시하고, 이를 피폭 저감대안의 선정 문제에 적용하였다. 의사결정 보조기법으로는 다기준 기법을 사용하였으며, 그 결과 대안의 우선순위를 결정하고, 최적화의 결과를 실제 적용하는 문제를 분석하였다. 이러한 최적화 절차론은 발전소 이외에 방사성 폐기물 관리나 방사선의 의학적 이용 둥의 분야에도 적용될 수 있다.

BACKGROUND. Even though excellent impression materials are now available for making accurate replication for hard and soft tissue, the numerous dentists have faced lots of obstacles in making simultaneous impressions of multiple abutments. CASE DESCRIPTION. This article describes a modified method of tray fabrication using auto-polymerizing acrylic resin and impression technique for multiple prepared teeth in cases with limitations and difficulties in taking dental impressions. CLINICAL IMPLICATION. This segmental tray technique has several advantages, including higher impression quality, fewer impressions, and being more comfortable for the patient and less stressful for the clinician.

The purpose of this research is to analyze ‘consumer education system in middle school’, whether it is suitably organized to help students make the right decision in their daily life as a rational consumer in this fast changing “the Informational Society”. We divided the consumer education of “the Informational Society” into 4 fields of studies(consumer information technique, decision making on purchasing, consumer financial management, and consumerism) and made specific analysis for this research. The “Technology & Home Economics” textbook which follows ‘The 7th curriculum’ conducted by “Korean Educational Board” Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development for first and second grade in middle school were used for this analysis. The results founded are as follows: first, for the curriculum analysis according to the 4 fields of consumer education, both the first and the second grade students' textbook had consumer information technique as the major portion of the consumer education. Second, as a result of the comparison between the two grade levels showed that the second grade level has higher portion of consumer education in “Home economics & Technology” textbook than the first grade level. Third, the present status of consumer education showed that the first grade level's consumer education was only limited in consumer information technique, but the second grade level's consumer education was ranging evenly throughout the 3 fields of consumer education: consumer information technique, decision making on purchasing and consumerism. These results of this study contribute to the development of an efficient and desirable curriculum for the adolescent' consumer education, specially for school consumer education, in “the Informational Society”.

The phenomenon of a continuous Steel-making process was studied with a set of collected equilibrium data for the steel-oxidation reactions. Mass and Heat balances were also established. Mass transfer constants which are physically unmeasurable but escential for the simulation study in the steel-making process were calculated from the experimental data using an optimization technique. Based on these data various operating conditions and process characteristics were examined.

The consumption of bread as the principal food is increasing. The taste of bread depends on the components of raw materials. Though the knowledge about the raw materials of bread is important for the development of new products and the cost accounting, it is difficult to find the study on the role of raw materials in making bread. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to integrate the existing theoretical study on bread. Then, it will provide the basic knowledge on the raw materials in making bread in order to develop the technique of making bread.

Knit is classified into two such as basic texture and applied one according to knitting principle, and the basic texture of weft knitting consists of single knit. rib knit, purl knit and interlock knit. The basic texture of warp knitting consists of double knit texture, double code knit texture and double vandyke knit texture. Fourteen costumes were produced with eighteen (18) different types and twenty four (24) raw materials, and we were trying to show a wide range of costumes produced with knitting by making two different brands at random and making different designs depending on four seasons. Knitting technique is very important element in that it allows special surface effectiveness and decides the characteristic of knitting materials. Knit designer plays very important roles such as selection of raw thread, deciding knitting technique and type of knitting machine in designing the knit. Therefore, the knit designer requires the ability to utilize the function of knitting machine to the maximum, the effort to acquire the variety of knitting technique, develop the new knitting technique and for the improvement of knitting design.

최근 3D 애니메이션은 급속한 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 기술적 발전에 힘입어 실사에 가까운 애니메이션 연출이 가능하게 되어 영화, 광고, 게임, 디지털 영상물 등의 엔터테인먼트적인 요소로 많이 사용되고 있다. 3D 애니메이션 제작과정은 전통적인 애니메이션과는 달리 다양한 제작기술과 표현요소를 요하게 된다. 3D 애니메이션 제작에서 제작기술과 표현요소는 각각의 요소로 작용하는 것이 아니라, 서로 결합하여 제작하여야만 완성도가 높은 애니메이션을 얻을 수가 있다. 이에 본 고는 3D 애니메이션 Computer Process에 의한 작업 과정을 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 바탕으로 한 기술적인 표현방식과 미학적, 조형적, 디자인적, 회화적 요소를 바탕으로 한 예술적 표현요소를 분석하고 기술적인 완성도와 표현력이 있는 애니메이션을 제작하는 방법을 모색해 본다.

This paper aims to construct an effective decision making model on selection of product design in product development using fuzzy AHP technique. It is expected that this paper contributes to enhancement of company's market competitiveness by shortening the lead time to develop a new product and minimize initial investment. The proposed model using fuzzy AHP enables quick decision making by integrating and analyzing all customer requirements related to a product. In addition, it can deal with vagueness and uncertainty of decision making process using fuzzy set theory. Decision making processes for evaluating the best selection of product design are also constructed to describe the exact concept of development. A tennis racket is shown as an example. The proposed model is expected to be applied in various fields of managerial decision making processes as well as of product development process.
